The team at Beaverton Upholstery did a great job replacing the convertible top on my 92 Miata. The job was fairly priced, and completed within a reasonable timeframe. When I noticed an issue with the repair, Steve and his team went out of their way to make everything right for my car and I. Everyone there was also super nice, and you can tell they care about what they do. Absolutely recommend using their services!

I could not have asked for a better experience with a company. They did a complete upholstery job on my 2005 boat and it is absolutely perfect. The job was completed in March 2022 and I used the boat all summer long and did not find a single flaw in their installation. My communication with Steve was excellent and the entire process went very smooth.Service: Upholstery installation

Excellent shop, high quality work, great communication, fair prices and flexible! I needed to have my 2006 Nissan Murano leather seat repaired and found Beaverton Auto Upholstery just before the holidays. Gave them a call and spoke with Steve who had me come in for an estimate. Upon arriving he quickly evaluated my need, ensured he had the right materials to complete the repair properly and gave me the quote. The price was fair, so I scheduled my appointment a few weeks out to accommodate my inflexible work schedule. Of course something changed on my end the week before and I gave Steve a call to see if I could still get the work done before the end of the calendar year. Even though the shop was very busy, Steve was understanding and worked with me to get the repair rescheduled at a time that would work for me, thank you Steve! The repair went smoothly and the work was completed on-time and exceeded my expectations. Steve's team decided that part of the foam in the seat also needed to be repaired and did that for me during the repair process, no additional charge, I appreciate that proactive approach and it shows how they take care to do the repairs properly and with high quality. I will definitely be back with my next upholstery need and have included before and after photo's to show the work Steve's team completed for me.

They installed a new headliner for me. I had to book about a month out because their schedule was pretty full. Paid a $75 deposit when scheduling the installation so knew what the remaining costs would be. The workmanship was excellent. The glue they used for the project was somewhat strong smelling and took a few weeks to fully go away, so plan for additional ventilation afterwards (same smell as when you go in the building). Staff was professional and courteous. I'd definitely recommend them to others.Services: Upholstery repair, Upholstery installation

Recently had the drivers seat of my 2002 Ford repaired/reupholstered. The seat was warn, split, and torn. Now it looks great and has more leather than factory. The before/after really tells the story.

I didn't get any work done by them but they saved me $1200. I was working on my convertible top and hit a snag brought it to bright auto upholstery they said it was the staples quoted me $1200 to fix it which is more than the install fee. Wanted a second opinion brought it here the guy looked it over said I was missing a part then helped me get my top closed. Saved me $1200+. They seem like good people.

Awesome experience with Steve and his crew at Beaverton Auto Upholstery. Outstanding customer service, top notch quality automobile craftsmanship performed on my 2008 VW Convertible Beetle with new top installation, somewhat complex (to me anyway) repair to my driver's seat, and they even fixed a leak in my trunk! Price was more than reasonable, turnaround time was so fast. Well run. Very satisfied. Highly recommend.Services: Upholstery repair, Upholstery installation

I cannot say enough good things about this business. My daughter had a tear in the drivers seat of her car. The car is 9 years old and they are leather seats. They replaced several sections of the seat but you cannot even tell the car was ever touched. They did an awesome job. And the price was very fair. I thought it would have cost me a lot more. Will definitely be back for any upholstery needs.Service: Upholstery repair

The seat on my Harley was getting tired after many years of riding. The local Harley shop recommended Beaverton auto upholstery. I couldn't be happier with the results. I had them add a few custom ideas I had, and it turned out really nice.

They fixed the top of my convertible mustang and it was great. Years later I returned with a new convertible VW that was leaking and they looked at the roof and the tubes at that very moment and did a quick fix for no charge. They are a great and trustworthy service!

I wouldn't recommend using these guys. Communication was frustrating - they had to order a part for our car and we didn't hear anything about it for a month. Just send us a quick text, "we're still waiting for your post, we haven't forgotten about you". Their work was fine, but I did have to correct a zipper that they made a mistake on. Overall, I'm disappointed that Matrix recommended them.

They matched the color for our headliner in our truck as close as they could and it blends in very nicely with the rest of the interior. We were able to take our truck down one day and pick it up the next day but had to book pretty far in advance because they were so busy. The new headliner on our truck looks perfect and we are very very pleased with it. We expected the interior to smell pretty nasty with all the glue and stuff that must ve been used and we were pleasantly surprised that there was basically no smell at all. We were leaving the day after we had this installed to go on a one month trip and thought we d have to have the windows down the whole time, but did not have to have them rolled down at all.

Extremely rude on the phone. I have tried to give them my business a couple of times in the last couple of months. Either I don't get called back or they are rude on the phone.I was trying to stay "local", but after this last phone call and attitude, I will be looking elsewhere for what I wanted done.Update:No chip on this shoulder. Just looking for quality work AND customer service. "Steve" is now texting my work saying he would consider working with me IF I remove the negative review. No chance bud. Your customer service has earned you that review. I understand the times we are in, I also have a job and see the ramifications of this economy. That does not warrant bad customer service. I wish your 7 families the best.

Steve fixed the driver's seat on my son's 2003 Honda Accord about 2.5 years ago, and did a nice job. But what he did recently is what prompted me to post this review and give him a Five Star Rating.I stopped by his business to see if he could help fix the driver's seat again, and this time it was the back seat panel that was messed up. The seat panel plastic snaps had broken, and there was no way to get it to stay in place on the seat back.Steve looked at it, made a couple of trips back and forth into his business, and eventually emerged with a couple of new snap-in screws that he installed at the bottom of the seat panel. He spent about 15-20 minutes helping me out, and he fixed the problem.I offered to pay him for his time and materials (and was happy to do so) but he refused. He just said "come back when you have a bigger problem and see me".I really appreciate what Steve did for me. And so does my son.I'll definitely come back should I ever need any other auto upholstery repairs (and I'll refer anyone I know to go see him as well). Thanks again Steve.Mark Theo

I just had my driver seat and backrest re-skinned for my Acura at Beaverton Upholstery and I m very happy with the outcome. Initially I didn t dare to hope for a close match, but Steve patiently combed through his leather samples and found one that in my opinion was an exact match for both color and perforation pattern. I simply can t tell the difference between the new leather and the old one. Great job! Thank you!Service: Upholstery installation

After my puppy had an accident on the passengers side seat of my car, a wire had fried and was causing the weight sensor to ding endlessly. When I took my car into a dealer and told them the problem, they diagnosed the fix at $1,200 for parts and labor. For one car seat to be fixed? No way.I called Beaverton Auto Upholstery, described the problem, and they quoted me a fix at a fraction of what the dealership was asking for. I made an appointment and they ordered the part my car would need.Once I walked in, I was greeted immediately. I handed them my keys and hung around the local coffee shop for no more than 2 hours before I got a call informing me the seat was replaced. They had kept the old seat to show me what was replaced. Not only were they kind, but incredibly thorough with their work. Months later, the car is still like-new.Very grateful for the team here! They were knowledgeable, genuine, and clearly passionate about their work.

We took in our La Z Boy seat cushion to have new foam installed and to replace a broken spring. The owner Steve was great to work with. The job was completed very quickly in spite of the fact that they are a very busy shop. We can see why they are busy. Great service, helpful staff and quality work. We will certainly be back whenever we need additional upholstery repairs. We would give 10 stars if we could!Update: About a week after we picked up our completed La Z Boy cushion the seat back broke on our Ford truck. We took the truck to Beaverton Auto Upholstery to have it repaired. Once again we had a great experience. We brought the truck in without an appointment. The job was finished in 3 business days. The broken seat back was repaired and they also reupholstered a ripped section of the seat while it was there. Great work, fast service, fair price. These people are great.

The dealership at Beaverton Toyota was offering me to replace my car carpet for 5k (absurd!). So I turned to Steve's shop.I am glad that my wife and I made that decision. At a mere cost of 1.5k, Steve was quick to change my carpet and clear out molds that developed over the years. The turn around time was also quick and they got that done within a day. Although there was some hiccups such that they forgot to reconnect my stereo and power-seat power, they owed to their mistakes and fixed them quickly for me.Overall: you cannot find a better bargain and place to fix up your car.

I had a rip started in the leather upholstery in my 2006 pickup on the front seat drivers side. So I stopped by to get a price for the repair. I felt the price was reasonable so I made an appointment for the repair. I was worried that they would not be able to match the material or color since only a couple of seat panels needed to be repaired. However, the match was perfect and the seat now looks like new again. I am very pleased with the results. I also was happy that it only took one day for the work to be done and at the cost that had been quoted. I would recommend Beaverton Upholstery to anyone needing upholstery work on their vehicle.

Recently had a custom leather interior installed in my 2010 Miata. Black leather seat bolsters and door armrests with dark blue diamond stitch suede infill panels in the seats and doors, all with contrasting stitching. Looks fantastic, and the quality of work was first class all the way! And the price was significantly less than I expected when I walked in the door.Great job guys! I will use you again!

I had a couple of tears in the front seat of my car. I dropped the car off at 8:00 and it was done by 12:30. It looks perfect! It looks like it is in original condition. Great service! Reasonably priced, too!Service: Upholstery repairService: Upholstery repair

I went in to get my new convertible window installed and they ripped the sewing on it about 18 inches when zipping it closed , even tho I zipped it up twice before without ripping it . They told me you had to take the top off to fix the problem they created and it would be $600 in labor or 1500 to replace ... no discount offer, no I m sorry, no nothing . I ended up resewing the huge mistake they made in about 30 minutes and re installed the window myself and it looks completely fine .... this place said they they can t do it but I have no experience and did it all in about a hour . this place is horrible and Steve seems like he hates his life so don t trust him with your car ........

I dropped off my car for some work on my convertible top because a cable had snapped in the mechanicals associated with the closing of the top. Steve and his team are first class! From the first phone call to picking up the car, everything went smoothly. Clear communications, very professional, on schedule, and it even cost less than originally estimated. Steve even took my car to another shop to do a few things that were outside of his normal scope, and that work was done quickly and correctly for a great price. I highly recommend this shop!

Make sure you get your quote in writing! I called the night prior to going in to the shop to schedule my appointment. I was quoted $150 to remove side bolster bars from my seat over the phone. When I went to the shop the next day, that price changed from $150 to $200. I can chalk this up to seeing the car and the seat and being able to give an accurate quote. Fair enough. However, the issue that I have is the discussion of additional work. We also discussed some work to be done on the back of the seat. He told me it would be an additional $50 to go into it and do what is needed, but there may be additional charges pending the amount of work needed. Fair, we agreed that if we were going to exceed the $50, a call would be placed to quote what that price is, and then work would be authorized at that point.3 weeks later, I take my vehicle in to be repaired for the scheduled appointment. I dropped it off and left the key in the drop box the night prior. I get a call early afternoon the next day that the vehicle is done. I call back and we discuss the work and how it went. I am then told the price was now $395. I asked why was I not called about the additional pricing? We agreed to $200 to remove the bars from the bottom bolsters, and $50 for the back padding. If we were exceed this, I were to be called to authorize the charges. Steve tells me, I wrote down $250+ back of seat.Moral of the story is, make sure you get your quote down in writing. Apparently writing down the price and time of appointment on the back of their business card per his request is not good enough. I will NEVER bring or recommend work to be done here which is a shame being a repeat customer. The quality of work is not the issue at all. It's due to the poor customer service, and the fact that simple instructions that were set and agreed upon at the beginning could not be followed or honored.

The team at Beaverton Auto upholstery was very efficient, well priced and they did excellent work for my driver's seat that unfortunately got chewed on by my German Shepherd. The price was very reasonable and they ended up throwing in an extra part of the heated seat that needed to be replaced without even charging me more. I'm really impressed by these guys and I highly recommend them.

When my auto detailing clients need upholstery work done, I always send them to Beaverton Auto Upholstery. After Steve Mackley took over ownership a few years ago, I went to the shop to meet him, as I'm always looking for other good vendors to take care of my clients. Steve is an honest business owner that provides a great service and quality work. I know of several car collectors that only trust his shop to take care of their rare and classic cars. Highly recommended. He recently redid the leather seats in my Avalon and they came out great. Smooth worry free transaction and professional results.

Fast, great work, good prices.Updating: the leatherwork was great but the attention to detail was lacking. They took out both my front seats to do the work and I have had several issues since then. I've been back to the dealership twice now to find out that the airbag sensor under the passenger seat was not plugged back in, the back seatbelt was not secured properly, and the bolts and the mounting hardware used to secure the front driver seat had been stripped when the upholsterer took the seat out and were replaced using Lock Tite. When the dealer took the seat out for the first time since the upholsterer touched it, they discovered this and the only way to resecure the seat was to replace the mounting frame, a 450 dollar part. Total diagnostics and repairs as a result of this upholstery job were 750. None of the potential safety risks (seatbelt, airbag sensor, stripped bolts) were communicated to me and were only found as problems arose afterwards

Very professional. Work was done ahead of schedule had my leather seats redone and a new soft top put on. Both came out nicely. I would definitely recommend them and plan on having more work done by them.

Steve and his staff are awesome. I had a front seat that was very worn and needed redone. The price was out of my budget so he made some phone calls and found a used seat within my budget. I really appreciated his honesty and willingness to find a solution that worked, even if it meant he would make a less money.
