I appreciate the maintenance work they did on my vehicle, also requested consultation on an issue I had and they gave me a fair quote. Their team discovered an issue and took time to research if there was an open recall and gave me an advice to first check with the manufacturer vs taking my $ to fix it. This interaction built trust and it made me comfortable to use and recommend their shop. Their team is awesome, explains the work thoroughly and patiently answers questions.

We took our 335d in to autobahn. Sebastian & Paula are so friendly & great to work with. Our experience was excellent. Took care of all our cars needs at what we think was a very fair cost. It was worth the drive from the coast and we ll make the trip again. If you have a BMW we highly recommend Autobahn Motorwerks Thanks again Paula & Sebastian

We ve known Sebastian and Autobahn Motorwerks for over 13 years now. The most honest and knowledgeable mechanic I ve ever come across. Not just for German cars in the beginning. Such a great company and love his wife Paula too!I don t currently own a German vehicle as i sold mine for a move, but when i do again I will be back with him for ALL services!

This write up is long overdue as Autobahn Motorwerks worked on my modified 2015 BMW 435i M Performance back in early November 2022.Since then the fixed the car (cracked valve, spark plug change) at 58k miles has been running way better than before, passed required Oregon inspection, and couldn't be happier.If you need to find a place to get great quality work done on your BMW for best honest value this is the spot. I was having trouble starting (intermittent) and the car was losing power to certain areas as it was falling below the voltage thresholds that the car requires to power the respective system.What I just described above is what I learned from Sebastian today as he took me back into the garage and explained to me (and showed me) the situation with my X2. It was great to have a free lesson from Sebastian as he passionately explained the issue, how he found it and most importantly how he will solve it. Im excited to pick my car up and have back in correct order with confidence after Sebastian and his team close the hood.You will not be disappointed bringing your BMW to Autowerks here in Beaverton. Sebastian has a lot of experience and is a genuine mechanic. The added bonus is the awesome docile yellow lab hanging out in the garage!Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I cannot recommend Autobahn Motorwerks enough. My BMW was totally kaput after some offroading (don't ask) and an out of state road trip and we were effectively stranded. They were able to schedule service quickly and were super communicative via phone, text, and email both before and while my car was there - even when my questions and comments were confusing or potentially annoying ;)Sebastian diagnosed a particularly esoteric electrical problem with my sensor cluster that was killing the whole car, then turned around and explained to me the exact problem in a way that I could understand and be confident in the solution. Paula communicated their plan of action, very transparent prices for everything, and realistic timelines - they were both just generally very pleasant to interact with in a pretty stressful situation.This team strikes me as genuinely caring about both the vehicles they work on and their customers. After they found and fixed the problem they also replaced my battery, changed my oil and brake fluid, updated the 9 year old firmware in my car, gave the entire vehicle an inspection, and even took it to the car wash across the street for me! I've never had this level of service from my local BMW dealer, and it all cost significantly less than the dealership would've gouged me for. The prices are very fair and affordable given the types of cars in question.The cherry on top was having a great conversation in person with Sebastian and Paula when I went to pick up my car. I'm interested in cars generally but not an expert by any stretch, so I got to learn a few cool things about my car and BMWs in general.Basically: they're local, they're quick, they do high quality work, and they care about you and your car. I will 100% be bringing my BMW back here for DEQ, brakes, etc. in the future.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Battery, Oil change

Super friendly people and dies wonderful work. Took my cars there twice both emergencies and they took care of me. Great work at a great price, and walk through all the steps and processes with you as well as set up for future, non-urgent things. Made a life long customer out of me.

This shop is great, I was in here a few times and every time I left happy. Very knowledgeable, kind and honest people that do good work. The last time I had my vehicle in they actually buffed out a pretty nasty section of paint I scratched on a pole for free, which was really awesome and nice of them! I'd highly recommend Autobahn Motorwerks.

Thank you for taking on another repair in your already full schedule. When your BMW won't start, "who you gonna call?" Autobahn Motorwerks, if you have a choice. Replacing the starter motor in this car is an hours long job that requires removing and replacing the intake manifold, and you worked through afternoons with 100 degree heat to get the work done for us. You even performed the fluid changes we had scheduled for later in the month. The owner, Sebastian made my experience with his business a very pleasant one. He was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about everything. He was very patient and took the time to explain everything that he was thinking (down to the minor details) and what he would do to fix my car's issues. He was also very upfront with the time it would take and the pricing. He answered all my questions very well and took his time with me in person and on the phone. The final price on the service also came out slightly less than I was expecting based on my previous conversation with him. Finally, he went above and beyond what was needed in that he took the time to clean the plastic components under my car that were covered in oil as well as cleaned my driver side door panel on the inside that was dirty and grimy. He certainly didn't have to do this but did it anyway. At the end, he showed me before and after pictures of everything (which is an amazing practice that all shops should do). By my overall interaction with him I can see he takes pride in his work and is very open about everything. Great experience and competitive pricing! Will definitely go back there for my future services.

I'd been taking my BMW to the local dealership and while they did a good job they are very expensive. I was looking for a BMW shop that did a good job and was affordable. I got that with Autobahn Motorwerks! Sebastian is very passionate about his business, you can tell. The first time I stopped in he took a look at my breaks and talked to me about their squealing. He was very through both in his assessment of the brakes and his description of what was happening with them...no charge. I recently took it in to have the headlamp bulbs replaced. Additionally he polished up my lights for me, no charge. While he had the car he put it up on the rack and gave me a free inspection, something the dealership usually charges for. He found a couple minor things which he showed my husband and I. He then explained what was going on in detail. I asked him for a quote which he provided, again a very reasonable price. So far I am very impressed.

If you own a BMW, (I have for the past 20 years) take your car here for honest and professional service!Sebastian is the only person I trust with my cars now. If it doesn't need repairs, he won't do it. He does not over charge you and rip you off. His quality of work can be trusted and I know he'll perform the work that I would do myself if I had the time.

The only place I trust to work on my E46. They've worked on my car several times from putting new suspension, replacing wheel bearings and doing cooling system. They do a phenomenal job every time. Sebastian seems very passionate on what he does. he takes the time to explain things to me to make sure I understand how some things work. If there are things I can't work on my car, this is the only place that comes in my mind first. Highly recommended!

Sebastian and Sean at Autobahn Motorwerks are a pleasure. We are glad to have found a local mechanic for my husband s 2000 540i who is candid and honest about the work that needs to be done and who also respects my husband s ability and desire to do what he can on his own. They take the time to review their recommendations thoroughly and answer any questions we have. I highly recommend this mechanic for any German car and will be returning there with our car for any future needs.

Got my car serviced recently. Sebastian is knowledgeable and friendly. He fixed my car in a timely manner and the price was reasonable. I recommend them for any mechanical issue you may have with your car as well as routine maintenance.

Sebastian was extremely helpful and telling me what was wrong and exactly what kind of readings he got while testing my car. He suggested some course of actions but ultimately it was up to me, no pressure given. Paula was very easy to work with and arranged Lyft for me after I dropped off my car. I ve only received diagnostic service so far but I would 100% come back for further services.

We have had many opportunities to work with Sebastian and his team over the past four years since we have an older Audi A4. In every instance, Sebastian has been knowledgeable, straightforward, honest and persistent in diagnosing and collaborating with us on solutions. He knows his craft! Really great people here. They got me in before they said they could, and called back with a thorough explanation of what was wrong with my Mini. Although quite a big bill; because of several things wrong, they were helpful in telling me what I could do first to get the car running, but also not ruin my engine. Will definitely be coming back for the rest of the repairs. Thank you so much!

We've been going to Autobahn Motorworks for service on our BMW 328CXi and X1 Sport since our warranties expired. I don't know how many times we've been told something major was going to fail if we didn't perform XYZ service "immediately". We then take the car to Sebatian, and he corrects what is actually wrong, at about 30% of what Kuni BMW estimated. I can't even guess how much they've saved us in the 4 years we've been using their services. Autobahn Motorwerks is without question one of the most competent, honest, and reliable a shop as you could ask for. Sebastian and Jason rock! I'm shocked that I have not written a review before. We have been seeing Sebastian since my husband's PT cruiser broke down approximately 7 years ago and a tow truck said "he knew someone good". Sebastian has gone above and beyond on not only repairs, but helping us buy "new" used cars for my teens, and in-depth explanations of what's going on with our car. Him and Jason are a team I wish i could get for all of my cars. He has become so well known that everyone tries to get into him for car repairs. I'm buying a "new" Mini Convertible and I can't wait to have him as my car repairman again. I wish I could get someone as specialized and good as he is for our Toyota's.

Sebastian and Jason fixed my 540i right the first time and for less than the dealer. I got treated better here than when I took my new one to the dealership. They know their stuff! Will certainly be a repeat customer as the odometer rolls along.

Sebastian @ Autobahn Motorwerks has in-depth and thorough technical knowledge of BMWs, is honest and objective with his service evaluations and more than fair with his pricing. Its important to know someone like Sebastian when you have an urgent issue with your car. As long as I drive BMW, Sebastian is my go-to guy!

Was referred by a friend to Sebastian. I had pulsation in the front of the car and after taking it for a drive Sebastian diagnosed that it was my front brakes and rotors. The previous owner has BMW rotors and after market brakes which warped my brakes. I brought the car back for a appointment and with finished quickly. No more problem. Thank you so much. I truly appreciate your talents.

This isn't a review per se, but I stopped by on a Saturday morning because their listing indicated they'd be open like some auto shops are. Wanted to make an appointment in person and get a feel for the place since I didn't have a regular shop yet for a newly acquired used bmw. Turned out the place was closed, fine it's the weekend but correct your info. Anyway, left a voicemail about setting up an appointment and they never called back. Oh well.

Sebastian took the time to thoroughly test drive and analyze a complaint I had about braking performance. That, and other work that I needed done was quick and efficient. A pleasant and informative experience.
