David and the team are thorough, professional, and go above and beyond for their customers. They are trustworthy and go to bat for their clients. It s so refreshing calling and having a real person, whom is knowledgeable and friendly, answer the phone as well. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They have my trust, and recommendations for family and friends.

David and Emily are amazing!!!David did a post repair inspection and found my repairs to be subpar and too dangerous to drive. He literally saved my life! If I was reared ended again my car would not of been safe! I highly recommend ADE!I will send all my friends to David and Emily!Thank you for taking such good care of me and all your patience through this challenging case!

Because of Auto Damage Experts, the insurance company paid my diminished value claim IN FULL!!! Unbelievable! I am so thankful for David and his team. Their inspection and report were thorough. Their directions on how to file the claim were clear. They were so helpful, courteous, and quick to return emails. I highly recommend them.

I contacted David pretty early in the process and he guided me throughout the diminished value process for an incident where a car backed into my new bmw. His experience and knowledge gave me enough confidence to trust him for the DV claim. He did a very thorough analysis of my car post repair and recommended additional repairs. He gave a very insightful DV report which was enough to make a strong case. Unfortunately, the insurance company denied me any claims initially but David still felt pretty confident about getting the DV for my accident so he referred me to a great attorney who with the help of David's report won the case. We were able to claim almost 93% of the DV amount plus ADE fees. I would highly recommend David and his team to anyone who is in the same situation as I was.Again, thank you for all the help and guidance!

I cannot describe how well taken care of I was with ADE! They are amazing and made me feel so confident even before I hired them. The process with ADE was so smooth. It was such a relief to hire someone to take over the fight with my insurance company and ADE was able to get me the amount I knew my car was worth. I highly recommend them if your insurance company is trying to offer you an amount that you know is way below the value of your vehicle.

Dave Smith and everyone at ADE were highly professional and helped me out tremendously during my DV claim. They were there to answer questions and let me know how to carefully maneuver the sly insurance company that I was working against. They were able to help me get what I was due from the insurance company. These guys treated me like a friend and I felt like I was finally dealing with someone who was on my side! I highly recommend ADE and Dave Smith. If I ever have to go through this again, I wouldn't choose anyone else to get the job done right!!

David and Emily were fantastic! I purchased a 2020 certified vehicle from a local dealership. I am no car expert and trusted the dealership and certification process. I began to notice some noises that concerned me and took my vehicle to my mechanic, who sent me to Heitzman Auto Body (who were awesome btw), and they referred me to David. David inspected the vehicle and determined it had been in one or more accidents with body and frame damage that had been poorly repaired. Because of David's opinion letter, I was able to get all of my money back plus the cost of his inspection and the dealership changed the way they complete their certification process. I highly recommend Auto Damage Experts!

I decided to wait until I had finished negotiating my diminished value claim to leave a review. In the beginning, Dave and his team at ADE were responsive. However, after submitting the report to Progressive, they went completely dark. My emails and voicemails were completely ignored. If they provide any response at all, it took weeks and responses given were FAR from helpful. It was so bad, I had concerns that there may have been a serious health issue involved... But the bottom line was... They were paid already and simply provided no client support. In the end, I was left to work through the process on my own. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

I was in two accidents within about a 9 month period. Neither were my fault. I had no clue about diminished value and that you were entitled to DV under the law until I saw a flyer from Auto Damage Experts at my auto repair shop.I contacted Dave Smith with ADE and he explained everything to me. He was upfront and honest that I was entitled to DV, but it wouldn't be easy. The insurance company isn't just going to roll over and pay the claim upon request. He encouraged me to stay the course and not give up even when I was stone-walled by both insurance companies.I ended up having to file both cases in small claims and pursue the judgments in court. With Dave's report, affidavit and assistance, I was able to collect about $8,300 in diminished value as a result of these accidents. Had I not pursued this or contacted ADE, I would simply had my vehicle fixed and took the hit at the time I went to sell my vehicle.A big thank you to Dave and his team. I am very happy that I retained ADE and you will be too if you are willing to fight and not give up.

I purchased a new Tesla Model 3, the company I hired to install my clear bra cut into my paint with less than 100 miles on the vehicle. Reason I bring up the make of the vehicle is that the insurance industry does not know how to value the damages on Tesla's. The min shop rate at all the 3 certified locations in Portland were at $140/hr. The insurance company was only will to pay $80ish/hr, this was a true nightmare, the cars are aluminum as well. I reached out to David and Emily from a refferal, they understood the situation and helped me battle the insurance companies trying to leave me high and dry on my brand new vehicle. The end result was my car was repainted properly and with a certified shop, my diminished value claim was settled and we recovered loss of use as well. It took many, many emails, phone calls on my own time, but with their guidance I was able to get my car repaired, file for loss of use, and settle on the diminished value. I am so happy that I was referred to David and his team of experts. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of help battling with an insurance company! Thanks again David, Emily!

Best appraiser and support! Without ADE my insurance company would have convinced me to accept less than a third of the amount needed to repair my car. David and his team worked tirelessly with Nylund's Collision Center, my insurance company and their appraiser to ensure that my car would be made safe and whole. Professional, knowledgable, and persistent. I highly recommend.

Outstanding team. My experience with David and team is excellent, right from the first time I talked to them my impression was and remains that they are clear, direct and honest in their approach and provide best guidance.Both David and Emily are quick in responding and they helped me get much higher value for my total loss than what insurance company was offering. David and and his team were easy to deal with. Even before making a payment to them he called me understood my case and gave me an estimate of what I could expect. Turned out he got me more payout than his estimate. I will recommend them, for anybody who had issues with insurers undervaluing the car after total loss. All it takes is a 10 min call to find out if you can get your cars actual worth. Once again I would like to thank his team, for swiftly handling my case.

AMAZING service with David and Emily; they just helped me recover over $10,000 in value that I would have LOST if I'd tried to handle the insurance company on my own. I am not exaggerating even a little, I couldn't have done it with them. They were highly recommended by a fellow business owner I know, and thank goodness I took his advice and contacted them.Their knowledge, experience and help made the world of difference in my dealing with (even a reputable) insurance company that was not going to pay me for my loss, and it saved me a ton of time, effort and anguish in a process that the insurance co. dragged out for months. I didn't need a lawyer, I needed them, and their services are worth much more than they charge.If you don't have them helping you when you need help (and I didn't even realize that I did at first), you're in trouble. This is an easy decision...if they tell you they can help, sign up, you'll thank me. I can't say enough good things about David and ADE, except they have my highest recommendation and my gratitude. I don't get anything for writing this except the satisfaction of giving a great recommendation to others who need help like I did. (And among the years of stellar reviews I saw the one negative one, and that one is just ridiculous. David and Emily are consummate professionals who care for their customers and also help to be patient and deal with dishonest insurance companies. They helped me and some of my co-workers a lot over the last 4 years. I have been helped on two separate instances and the second one involved filing a small claim suit. They have been supportive throughout and help to deal with all frustrations along the way. I recommend them without hesitation.

This is one of the few DV appraisal places that does an actual in-person inspection of your vehicle, which can make your case against the insurance company much stronger. This portion of the process was pretty straightforward, and it only took about 15 minutes. The actual report that ADE produced was very detailed and included sales of comparable vehicles, analysis of the actual specifics of my vehicle's damage that led to their DV estimate, and the resume of Dave, the owner and appraiser who prepared the report. This resume included documentation of his extensive experience, as well as trial cases that he's been involved in. This report has been a valuable and crucial tool in getting the insurance company to fork over a fair settlement. It seems like ADE gets a lot of business and can sometimes be a bit slow to reply, but the best and fastest way to get in contact is to just call Dave or one of the other employees directly.

I cannot give David and the Staff over at Auto Damage Experts enough credit for the quality of their work.I was rear-ended and had my vehicle repaired by my insurance company s preferred repair shop. The work was done poorly, and ADE had them redo EVERYTHING. After the work was completed, there were STILL mistakes that David found, and the work was redone again. Then I took the car home, and after extensive driving found another issue (something that the ADE team wouldn t have been able to find without lots of test drives). Even though their job was done , David and the team went to bat for me again and made sure that everything was done correctly.Some people in this world are driven by a higher cause, and the team at ADE is focused on making sure you feel confident that your vehicle repair was done correctly, and your family is safe behind the wheel.Thank you David, Jessica, Emily, and the whole team!

Absolutely fantastic company. I crashed my car with full coverage and the insurance company only wanted to give me about 65% of its value. My car had mods and aftermarket parts too, and the insurance company barely gave them any value. Based off of a friend's recommendation, I hired ADE to represent me and they took care of everything. I had to stay diligent when the insurance company dragged their feet on my claim, and ADE did their part to make sure it moved along and my car was appraised for its true value. I ended up getting about $2,000 more than the insurance company originally tried to pressure me into taking. In short, I'd recommend ADE to ANYONE who has been in a car accident whether it is another driver's fault or your own. And don't even question the ADE fee. It's well worth it if it comes out of your pocket. Most likely though, they will get the insurance company to cover it in the end so it won't cost you a dime. No question about it - choose to hire ADE. You'll be thrilled that you did.

Just finished an insurance valuation process in which ADE was successful in getting me nearly $2000 over the insurance company's final offer. I found them to be quick and responsive to my inquiries and patient with the insurance company as they worked through the process. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again if needed.

My Tundra was totaled by my insurance company after it was stolen. They lowballed me on the value by using a different model truck for the comparable then when I disputed their value they came back even lower using trucks from up to 700 miles away, far below Portland s market value. When they refused to negotiate with me I decided to invoke the appraisal clause. Kelly at A Master Touch Body and Paint recommend David and his team to help me navigate the process.Emily, the office manager, helped me maintain my sanity by explaining the process and helping me deal with every curveball my insurance company threw at me. David and the insurance company s independent appraiser came back with a very fair value that was thousands more than the insurance companies value in a very timely manner.If you are dealing with a situation like mine, you can t go wrong with Auto Damage Experts.

My experience with Auto Damage Experts, Emily and David Smith were 2 fold. First they did an excellent job with a private appraiser hired by our insurance company to get a more than fair value for our totaled vehicle. Second when we found another vehicle in another state, we hired them to have it inspected and received an 11 page report with pictures.Working with Emily and David was like working with old friends. Great communication and follow through.

I have worked in the industry for many years and knew of their good reputation regarding pre-purchase and post repair inspections, DV claims, and more. I recently hired them to assist me with a DV claim on my 2015 Lexus. They made the process smooth, providing the information, documents, and appraisals needed to help me get the most value for my vehicle. I have worked with David personally for the last few years helping people understand the benefits of his appraisal services but up until recently had no idea how off I was. He sprang into action when I had an unfortunate incident with my 2009 Audi and really showed me that the insurance companies are NOT on your side in these situations. In only a few short days he had re-evaluated their appraisal and found many short comings. Not only did he get me every penny that my car was worth he went above and beyond and negotiated the settlement for me. If you EVER are in an accident your first call should be to David and Auto Damage Experts.

I was hit by a drunk driver in my brand new Toyota Tundra. After multiple trips to the body shop and extensive repairs I called David at Auto Damage Experts. He went to the body shop, looked over the vehicle and identified several more repairs that were needed. Then he created a comprehensive report of the damage that I was able to use to get a Diminished Value settlement from the insurance company. Very happy with the whole process and recommend that you use ADE early in the process of repairing your damaged vehicle. Thank you! Jason

Excellent outcome! David Smith expertly navigated through the insurance company's maze to garner me $2500 more in total loss value than the insurance company was offering when dealing with them on my own. I highly recommend working with ADE and their Team. 5 Stars!!

Amazing company! My brand new car with only 600 miles on it was rear ended. The insurance company said it was repairable. With David and his team's help - the vehicle ended up being a total loss. If it weren't for Auto Damage Experts I would have ended up with a mess! Thank you! If you have significant damage to your vehicle - you need Auto Damage Experts in your corner!

Emily and David Smith both helped us through the process of diminished value. They were extremely helpful when it came to the long process of acquiring diminished value. My wife and I got in a wreck in my 3 month old (at the time) Tacoma. It was sad since this truck was something I saved for during high school and college to get and in 3 months would disappear. The whole process took about 3 months to complete and a lot of coordination between insurance companies, auto body shops, and us. Its time invested. Sure, there were times where Emily or David were unreachable, but I would send an email at the same time to ensure a response. Overall, it was a good run. Thank you for your help and support through that time.

My husband and I used the diminished value service, pre-purchase inspection service, & total loss appraisal service. We were so glad we did too! ADE went above and beyond in helping us with what we needed to accomplish and made it so simple for us to follow and were very pleasing to work with. For any of these needs in the future we will definitely come back to this company. We are so grateful we found them in the first place! Dave called me regarding my DV case. Unlike other appraisers, he's very honest about my case and wouldn't advise me to purse it. Other companies just called me to pay them upfront fee with an estimate of over $7000 DV. Dave has been realistic and wouldn't want clients to waste money if he doesn't believe there's a chance clients will be paid back by insurers.
