Joe at Blue Collar Auto Repair saved my vacation. My car broke down about a 1/2 mile outside of side of Baker City, OR on a Friday afternoon. I was worried everyone would be closed for the weekend. Joe took my call and told me to have it towed to his shop. He locked up inside for the night and worked on it first thing Saturday morning (it was the water pump). We were back on the road by 11am. I can t thank him enough. The price was reasonable and the service was outstanding.

This mechanic shop was a lifesaver during my road trip. Open late, Joe was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I wish we lived nearby to make them our go-to mechanic. Joe saved me from being stranded in Baker city on my way from Arizona to Washington. My check engine came on going thru the mountains. I stopped at O Riley's and the lovely people there referred me to Blue Collar. I didn't have to wait long for him to get back from being on the road from helping someone else. He took a thorough look at my Ford Ranger and diagnosed that my 3rd cylinder was misfiring. He took his time to look at my spark plug and figure out that it was actually the coil. I'm on a super tight budget trying to get up to Washington to work. He didn't try to gouge my budget. He was able to fix my issue so that I could make it up to Washington in one piece. He was also super friendly to my dogs that are traveling to me. Just an honest and humble man helping out a fellow traveler. I would highly recommend him. I would literally be stranded out here if it wasn't for him. I can't say how much I appreciate the kindness and work he did to get us to Washington. Thank you!Service: Auto engine diagnostic
