This dealer is beyond terrible. I reached out to someone about a truck they had in stock. They where super quick to answer some basic questions etc I told them I lived out in boise area and I wasn t driving over 2 hours one way if I didn t like the truck or we could make a deal happen they helped inspect the truck and it all seemed good. I applied for financing and had to wait over 1.5 days to finally have finance call me and I sent in the required docs and I haven t heard anything! I have tried calling the sales person and finance manager multiple times. There was no problem getting me financed or anything they just ghosted me.. Still a week later I try calling again and texting with ZERO responses! So I found a truck in Salt Lake City much better condition and lower miles and more expensive than the truck I was looking at there dealership but it s also newer. I decided to drive 5 hours to get my truck because they helped me unlike Millie in internet sales and Luke I m finance. Very low class dealership, wasted my time and got a credit inquiry from them for nothing.

Customer service was great for the most part. I ordered new tires through them and had them installed there. When I went in to get quotes for some tires one of the guys was really thorough in answering my questions and taking the time go go out and look at my tires with me. It took longer than expected to get the tires on and there were some communication issues the day of getting the tires installed, however after reaching out they resolved the issue and comped the labor I was charged and fixed a broken valve stem for free. Seems if there are ever any issues they do try hard to resolve them for you.

On Friday, we travelled from Payette to Baker City and bought a 2017 Ram 1500. Today, Tuesday, the backup camera malfunctions and completely stops working. I immediately call to see what can be done. I ask how much they'd charge or if they'd charge us at all since we just bought the truck on FRIDAY, FOUR DAYS AGO. You guessed it, they said nope. They didn't try to make it right by giving a discount on the service or parts- they just don't even want to do it. I'm flabbergasted and upset that they'd do such poor business. Auto Ranch Baker City, I know you'll read this- please immediately take down our "testimonial" and photo(s) you took on Friday. I will not be recommending you or anything you provide. I cannot belive you were not willing to help or TRY to help at all. Shameful business.

Justin and Nate were great to work with and did an awesome job helping me find the right truck. While they didn't initially have what I was looking for, they went out and bought 2 ecodiesel trucks for me to choose from! They also gave me right of first refusal, which was super helpful as I live a ways away, and it took me about a week to come test drive. It was nice knowing the truck I wanted wasn't going to be sold in the meantime. To top things off, they helped me out big time when my old pickup broke down on my way home from truck shopping. They helped me get my truck towed and sent me home in a loaner car. Thanks guys!

I really wish I could give more than 5 stars because this establishment deserves it. Special thank you to James and Nate for doing everything in their power to help us in a time of need. I'm in the Army and was moving across the country when we broke down near this city in Oregon. We needed a new vehicle in order to continue our journey and make our timeline. We were extremely hesitant to go to a dealership because we new they would sense our desperation and try to take advantage of our predicament. I've never been more excited to be wrong in my life. They showed compassion and refused to give up until they found a way to help a family in need. The men and women who work at this establishment deserve all the credit in the world. After departing, over the next couple of days I received calls from both Nate and James.Nothing about the business we've done just checking on my family and making sure we were still doing ok. Constantly reminding us to not hesitate to call if we needed anything else. Know that if you do business here you will be treated with fairness and respect. If I need another vehicle in the future I will be more than happy to take that long drive back just because I know I'll be working with honest people.

I rate it a two. Because my first experience was great. My second experience however has ruined any and all future business from me.I had another purchased lined up a great deal. And they asked me to give them a shot and help keep it local. I figured since my first experience was good I'd go ahead because I was to support locals as my business is a local one. Once I was there I found out they could not cut me a better deal or drop the price. I decided oh well they are local I really want to support another local business. We purchased the car with the agreement SAFER tires be placed on it (the tires don't hold air and one has a gash on sidewall) and had to wait another week for repairs ac and what not. I went with it. Well I finally got told I could come get the car. When I did the alignment was literally so off I had to drive with the wheel sideways. So another week went by before Schwabs could fix it. Once that was fixed I called the dealership to ask about tires. Here it is almost an entire month later and still no safe tires for my car. My business has suffered because I have been unable to use the car. Finally I called my nana crying not sure what to do and she is helping me get new safe tires so we can travel safely for work amd with our kids. I originally had put a review up and they asked me to take it down and they would make it right. Obviously they never did. The whole process was awful. I work two jobs and my husband runs my business. My sister in on hospice and this just really took the cake. I would highly suggest anywhere but here. They are rip offs, dishonest, and treat you awful if you don't play stupid and let them walk on you. Never ever will I return to this awful dealership. The only good this business has is the auto shop they were kind and communicated well. The dealership itself is awful.

Awesome sales team! Before and after the sale. They were very open, honest, and knowledgeable about every truck I inquired about. Most Dealership's you get a feeling they are trying to hide something but they kept things completely transparent and not one time did I feel like they were pulling one over on me. Will shop here from now on. Thanks for the truck guys!

Stay away. Tried to sell a vehicle with a slipping transmission and driveline vibration because the previous owner likely abused the tow rating capacities which was why they traded it in. Wasn't upfront about the nature of the vehicle and condition until after inspecting and driving the vehicle. Dealership is 5 hours away so wasted time and money to travel. Took a $1000 refundable deposit that has not been returned yet. Other reviews have had similar issues trying to get the $1000 back. Few days later saw the vehicle sold to other folks. They are gonna get a rude awakening on an expensive repair bill. Dishonesty at its finest just looking for a quick turnaround to make money. If it is a used vehicle stay away.

These people do not do what they say they are going to do. Over and over I was told something would be done "today" and not once did they keep their word. Over and over. They didn't send the temporary ticket. They didn't send paperwork. They didn't file the title. Sales manager didn't return my phone call. The only they did on time was cash the check. Unprofessional!!

Edit: So far, the I owe you from the issues we found before we even bought car, still havent been fixed. I've been in contact trying to work with them and they can never seem to call me back. We finally got an appointment to repair it may 1st at a local dealership and they're supposed to cover the cost but I'm not holding my breath. When we took it in to get diagnosed, I had to make dozens of calls to baker city to pay the bill so the repair shop would release my car. Hopefully things go smooth in the future and rectify themselves. We had such a great experience buying and thought that the reviews were wild accusations until we had it happen to us first hand.... . I was in an urgent situation where I had totaled my car and my insurance company cut down my days for a rental car. So, I only had 4 days to find a new car when I found Millies facebook post about the Flex. I contacted her after work hours and she responded quickly and answered questions I had on her personal time. I was pre-qualified and told them I wanted the car. So, the next morning they sent over the paperwork my bank needed and we had the transaction done quickly. Usually when you go to a dealership they pressure you into all their add on warranties and options or they won't work with you. That wasn't the case here. Their finance manager was super helpful with filing the paperwork and informed us of all the free warranties that come with the car and didn't pressure us into anything else. The next day we came in and went over the car. We found a couple of issues and they promptly contacted a local dealership for them to get fixed at their cost because we're a 4 hour drive to them. All of them treated us like family and played with our son while we got the paperwork finalized. Millie, Dustin and Justin were amazing and so helpful! We had an amazing experience and will be back again for our next vehicle purchase!

If your car s gotta die on a road trip, make sure it s in Baker City, OR. Justin and Nate put us in a fabulous new Chrysler Pacifica hybrid and did a great job of handling the details of a complex sale and trade-in. Could not have asked for warmer hospitality from everyone we met who helped us salvage our journey. So of course we named her Miss Baker.

Showed up a half an hour early for oil change, tire rotation and check brakes appointment. After an hour and a half they only did an oil change. NOTHING ELSE !!! Customer service guy started yelling at me. He was very rude and unprofessional. I strongly suggest going somewhere else.

Absolutely my worst experience ever in purchasing anything since my first candy bar as a child. I bought a fairly new, yet used truck from these guys and when I tried to negotiate price they claimed the brake work it needed was preventing them from coming down on the price at all. The brakes have squeaked since the day I drive it off the lot. I took it back to have it checked and fixed and they were quiet for maybe a week before it began again. When I decided to try my hand at it I found calipers and rotors completely coated in rust. When I bought it Nate also sold me a warranty which I later found out was void due to the oversized tires that were on the truck WHEN I BOUGHT IT. They duped me into a $3500 dollar warranty which was sold to me as covers everything except windshield wipers and brakes and obviously things like light bulbs and new tires. Now that I m having real mechanical issues which would be covered by the warranty I m being given the run around. In the last month of trying to sort this out with him I ve made 15-20 phone calls which have all gone unreturned and numerous trips into the office only to be told try tomorrow . In The amount of time I ve wasted trying to take care of something I shouldn t have to even deal with I could have built myself a truck out of scrap metal and it would probably be a better truck. If buying another vehicle from Nate or the baker auto ranch were my only chance at surviving an apocalyptic event I d rather sit back and watch the sky fall in on me. Don t waste your time or your money. And don t only take my word on the matter, ask just 5 people who ve purchased something from this place and chances are that 3-4 of them will tell you they ll never do business again with them. In sharing my frustrations lately with people I know 100% of them told me baker auto ranch is off their list of places they ll return to.

Worked on my car without permission on a recall. It was sent into them for an insurance claim from a body shop and they took upon themselves to work on a recall that was not authorized by owner of vehicle. I had it setup with another shop that works on my vehicle to have that recall done

This may appear to be a small town dealership, but it's not. The quality of the inventory and sales staff is amazing! The sales manager was so easy to work with and just down to earth, he really listened to my needs and worked out a deal that was better than I thought I could ever get. Nate and Justin made this experience a one for the books. If you're looking for straight forward and honest conversation about your next purchase these are the guys!

I bought a ram 2500 in March. I had a terrible time getting any sort of reply from the salesman and even worse the management. My wife and I stopped on a Saturday and didn t hear anything back till Wednesday when I pushed the issue. Then my bank had a hard time getting a response from anybody as we had a check set and ready so I could get the truck that the sales guy ignored my offer from Saturday on. Jump to 10 days ago. I called and asked the sales guy if they did an oil change on the truck as it indicated oil due. But no call back 10 days later. Now when I call to get him to schedule me for an oil change on the service agreement purchased I can t get an answer or call back from him still. Don t deal with any of them especially Justin.

Worst experience ever! Horrible customer service. I put down a deposit on a new vehicle in July of $1,000. Due to unforeseen medical circumstances I decided against purchasing a new vehicle at this time. I have called everyday for the last 7 days to get my $1,000 back. Not only have I been treated rudely and unprofessionally, I ve spoke to numerous staff (receptionist, sales and Manger Nate) I have left message after message with ZERO response or ANY callback. Baker City Auto Ranch refuses to credit my bank account back!!!!!!!! I signed NOTHING, I agreed to NOTHING, and was rendered absolutely terrible service! I was going to buy from them in the future upon recovery from health issues but not now! I will never, ever do business with them nor will ANY family or friends. Shame on them for taking advantage of someone going through personal trials and tribulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I demand my money back and NOTHING IS being done!

I almost didn't buy here because of the negative reviews I had seen and I don't understand why. They have an amazing knowledgeable and helpful staff that go the extra mile to get a deal done. I would recommend them to anyone vehicle shopping.

Professional, top to bottom. The sales person, Dusty, was communicative, responsive, and thorough. From our initial interest in the used vehicle through all of our questions, down to streamlining financing and everything in-between, we couldn't be happier with her professionalism and apparent desire to 'do the right thing' (I think that's the dealership's tag line). Helpful, knowledgeable, and certainly empathetic. What a beautiful Toyota my dad got to drive home!

Dustin spent the time with me over the phone taking every picture I wanted, answering everything so that when I drove 7 hrs for the perfect truck it was just paperwork, picture and a handshake. Every detail he hashed out over the phone most before I got serious about driving that far....

Edit. Someone eeplied to review telling me they would honor courtesy car wash. Got one today no hassle,, staff was friendly.Previous review. Bought a new Subaru from Auto Ranch and was assured I would get free car washes as a courtesy. First year they did it with much resistance now they won't do it at all. I told them that will factor into my next car purchase and they didn't care. Had issues with radio And they didn't care. My friend bought one from them and they did same to him with car washes. They said they wish they could... yeah right. My friend bought the extra package that included a valet key which he never received.

We were traveling through Baker City, when our brake fluid sensor kept going off (there was plenty of brake fluid). Joe diagnosed the problem, told us what part to order and got us on our way. We really appreciated the quick attention.

Very good communication. My salesman was top of the line. They went out of there way to make a good deal on my new Jeep Renegade. But manager didnt put the delayed payment on my paperwork. When I got home I read paperwork so called. Was promised for a couple weeks things would be changed. I called and called. Promised it would be done . Finally gave up. I was getting nowhere. Mgr kept saying he was busy would do it in an hour. It never happened. So I feel they do everything possible to get a sale. But then it ends.

Had our 2017 Jeep Patriot in for oil change and lube. I was treated very well and everything was explained at the end. They let me know my air cleaner needed replaced and ask before doing it. The wash a and vacuuming left our jeep looking like new. We will be back for other oil changes.

Not from the time we walked in first price we were quoted and not move 1 dime.Prices were on the high of blue book. And to say less sit down their is always room. I ask for his bottom line he says sorry we can't go no lower than the price I quoted you as you walked in.. strange way to sell cars good luck..

First off I live in Boise Idaho. We were driving to Eugene Oregon when our truck blew up. We were referred to Baker City Auto Ranch by a mechanic in Baker City. We were stranded there with a U-Haul trailer and a car full of kids and dogs. Sat in the parking lot for 6 hours while we try to work a deal for this used car we bought from them. We were told by the salesperson that it had just been brought into the lot and hadn't even been inspected yet. We were also told that they would do the inspection and everything would be fine. We bought this car Amir 2 months ago and now that it's hot here in Idaho I went to turn the air conditioning on and it doesn't work. We took it to the Meridian Auto Ranch where they informed us that the compressor was broke the air conditioning compressor. When we made the agreement to buy the car we were told it had a warranty. Apparently it was only a 3000 mile 30 day warranty not an extended warranty which we were never offered at the time. I called the Baker City Auto Ranch and was told that the air conditioning compressor was checked a mere two months ago and worked fine. No it wasn't :-( they rushed us out of there so fast there was no way they had time to do that. And they knew that. We were told that if issues came up that were related to the condition of the car when it came in that they would take care of it. I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I am :-( we are not rich people that have money to throw around. And we were assured that the car was in good condition when we left the lot. Everything worked Windows door locks air conditioning heating all of that. So when I did find out the air conditioning did not work I wasn't that bothered because I trusted these people at their word. Now here I sit at home with no car , and no way to get to work, my husband is so upset about this mess that he would rather do a voluntary repo then work with these people. My advice if you're going to buy a car here have your own mechanic check it out first! Shady Shady Shady!

BEWARE! I was set to buy a truck from these guys, I told them I didn't want the extended warranty included before I drove down there, so they called me back the next day and told me they sold the truck, I had my cousin call a few days later and the truck was still available, they completely lied to me, extremally unprofessional. I called Dodge's corporate offices and complained as well. Would not do business with them EVER!

You guys repaired my vehicle with electric tape! Who does that? I discovered your sloppy work & when I called to ask that you fix it right, you took responsibility, so thanks for that. When I dropped it off, the female at the service counter didn't acknowledge my presence for several minutes and I was the only customer in there. She had an attitude from the second I walked in. I shouldn't have had to bring it back in the first place; it shouldn't have ever been taped back together When I came to pick it up, again, it took several minutes before anyone would even acknowledge me.Your lack of customer service is appalling. Also, maybe ask your staff to not alienate people who choose to wear facial coverings. If they don't want to wear 'em fine, but don't make people who choose to protect themselves feel alienated. I heard your staff whispering and giggling about my mask as I was leaving. So so so rude!

So the truck I was trying to get one more boat-towing vacation out of breaks down in the middle of the night just outside Baker City, Oregon, last night. I have people meeting me in Canada to go fishing, and I'm stuck, or so I thought. I had investigated RAM trucks in preparation for a fall purchase, so on a lark, I walk the 2 miles from the motel to Baker City Auto Ranch after seeing it online. Prepared to be beaten up by an annoying car salesman, I walk in and meet Curran. I tell him what I'm looking for without disclosing my situation, and he shows me the RAM truck I thought would do the trick, but it's max towing capacity was not what I thought I wanted, which was 12,000 pounds. He has another vehicle that would do the trick, but its more expensive and doesn't have a cd player. He then tells me he can't in good conscience recommend the 1st truck if there is likely a heavier load to pull, which essentially ended our business. What he didn't know, was that my boat, trailer, and load can't be more than 5200 pounds or the trailer suffers damage. The 1st truck had a max towing rating of 8300 pounds, we'll under the rating max. I finally fessed up and said I'll go with truck number one, after learning it would be right around the price range I had investigated previously. By now, it's 6pm Saturday evening, an hour after closing, and Curran, another gentleman, and Nate, remained until my transaction had been completed. At 7:45pm, an off-duty technician of the dealership shows up after being asked by the manager to address some rediculous little tailgate issue. Now there are 4 guys in a dealership 3 hours after closing, because I walked in at 5pm asking about a truck. I've not experienced a nicer, more gracious group of auto people in my life. I'm out of here tomorrow, on schedule, with the right truck at the right price from the right people. Thank you all again, Baker City Auto Barn.
