Mike came to my home soon after I called as my exterior door lock would not shut or lock. He installed a new lock and I was good to go! Mike is so pleasant and great to work with and just so professional and kind. I would recommend and use again. Thanks Mike!!

Hands-down, the most knowledgeable, helpful and caring locksmith. He helped me when I lost the keys to my car. I first got it towed to different automotive shop in town. They told me they could fix it right away and instead kept my car for over a week with no updates. So I towed to mike at coastal lock and key and he told me the job is not simply creating a new key since the prior shop ruined the computer in my car and the job was a lot larger than expected. He worked for hours and hours while making calls to other people to figure out a way to get me a key without replacing the computer. On top of all of this when the job was finished he undercharged me because he cares and wanted to help after another shop charged $170 to cause further damage. During this process he gave me, my girlfriend and my dog multiple rides so we didn t have to waste more money on a taxi. If I could give more stars, I would. Mike is an excellent locksmith and a great human being.

We wanted to replace the lock on our door with a keypad and also install a latch so that the door would stay closed without locking it.Mike did an excellent job throughout the whole process. He helped us to pick out the right hardware and did a beautiful job installing it, overcoming some challenges with how the previous lock had been installed.He was timely, organized, professional and most of all super nice. We wish we had more doors so we could work with him more! Highly recommend.

A friend gave me a hard-to-find key blank for my classic car and suggested i go to some place in Seaside. Not wanting to druve all the way down there, i started searching for a locksmith closer to home and found this place in Astoria. I read the reviews and pretty much all were related to their mobile service but they all said it was a great company with great service. I decided to give them a shot. Mind you, im used to dealing with old-school smiths who know all the tricks of the trade. Unfortunately, they're a dying breed with many businesses relying on machines and computer programs. So i went right after work and met with one of the family members there who was very nice and seemed at home with this line of business. I presented her my keys and she made me my copy with my blank and then discussed options for my other key. She was very knowledgeable and her solution was sound. I will definitely be going back to finish my set of keys. Thank you for the great service and i will recommend you to my friends!

Best locksmith on the north coast, hands down! I was in a pinch after hours on a Thursday night and he was the only locksmith around that answered the phone. Super friendly, very fast, and he should be your first call every time. Nobody likes to be in a situation where they need a locksmith, but when you do, he s life saver!

Great service! Super fast getting to me and had my door open in less than 30 seconds!!! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Waaay better than the "other guy." Mike answered all my questions and now my 2006 Honda locks make sense. Yeyyy! I'm glad I called them, problem solved.

I called when my daughter was stranded in Astoria. She was installing a new battery and locked her keys inside her truck by mistake. Mike came to the rescue and retrieved her keys, made her a spare key to hide AND helped her fix a broken terminal connector. Only charged for retrieving her key. So grateful for great service and fast. Highly recommend this company.

Probably the coolest dude ever! Before I had time to finish my crummy story on how I locked the keys in the car, he already had it unlocked. Super helpful and very nice. This will be the only place Ill ever refer for lock anything from now on. Thanks man!

Total life saver. I drove the family out to the end of beach at Seaview, Wa. I somehow managed to loose my keys while crabbing to tide pools.. Luckily it was at low tide, about 8pm. Since we were out on the beach he came in his 4x4 truck, but he had issues with reprogramming new fob. He went above and beyond, offered to tow my truck up to entrance so I wouldn't be stuck out on beach, and he went back to shop to grab his work van. All this at no extra charge, and super friendly about it. Sorry I don't recall the guys name, but I'm glad to know that there are still people out there, like you, who truly care about people. I don't think 5 stars is enough.

super understanding, wonderful job opened the door super quickly we are staying in a Airbnb all he asked for was prof of our stay and that we had permission honestly the best interaction here so far. he even gave us some suggestions for places to go. we are from Montana and not used to used to such amazing people100% recommend his company literally the best :)

Mike was super fast and super efficient, he showed up and he bought me a coffee! He was in and out of my house within 15 minutes and made me just as many keys as I needed. And this isn't the first time he's came through for me like this, I will always call Mike. And you should too!

Mike at A Coastal Lock-n-Key was friendly, fast, and a pleasure to work with. My wife and I had Mike come out and replace a sliding glass door lock at our beach house in Arch Cape, and he did a fantastic job. Couldn't be more pleased.

My girls and I were visiting Seaside, OR for the day and I somehow managed to lock the keys in the car. I can't remember the last time I did that. Anyway, I did a quick Google search and A Coastal Lock-n-Key popped up. The gal that answered the phone was polite and assured me her guy would be out to my location soon. Ten minutes later, Mike Long is calling to make sure he's in the right spot and the color of the car. He had the car unlocked quickly and he made us a spare key for a very reasonable price. He was very friendly and made us all feel at ease that we would back in Hillsboro for our softball tournament.

Mike answered the phone after hours on a Monday night to patiently guide us through getting into our home that had a faulty electronic keypad. Our teenagers were locked outside and our dog was locked inside, crisis averted!!! Highly recommend!

Me and my Husband and kids were stranded at the beach because somone stole my bag which had my keys in them. We couldn't find anyone to help us late in the day! But he came and even gave us a discount!! I am very grateful, great service, fast and amazing customer service.

Mike was so friendly and helpful re keying our new home! He answered any questions and made sure we were completely satisfied before he left. Very humble and hospitable. Didn t care as much about the money, but cared more about the customer service and being personable and genuine! Cheryl was also very kind and friendly over the phone! Great job!

Locked my keys in my car. The gentlemen arrived in about an hour as he was on another job when I called. He was very careful with the car window used to unlock the car. Professional and great service!

Locked ourselves out while stopping by pier 11 and they came out within 10mins of calling and we were back in our vehicle right away. Even sent us back to the shop to get a free spare key made. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

I have known Mike the owner for a while now, and he is by far the best locksmith I have ever known, super friendly, kind, and very affordable!!! Quoted me way less then the dealer wanted to just activate my chip on my 2011 Honda civic, he charged me less to activate the chip, activate the fob, and cut the key. Amazing job. Super highly recommend!!! Thanks again Mike.

They took time out of their day to help me with an emergency issue. Very prompt and saved me alot of costs on what I thought was wrong with my ignition. I would drive miles for their service. You should too if you want valuable experience.
