These guys do their job and keep my car on the road, better than dealing with the local dealership who couldn't get jeep parts to replace a leaky radiator hose due to a labor strike somewhere. They kept my vehicle for 8 days to replace 2 radiator hoses. Ha! Not these guys,

I take my vehicles to Lava Auto & Tire Service for their prompt appointments and high-quality service. Roger calls the audibles, and their auto techs deliver excellent service with impeccable integrity. Thanks, Lava Auto! P.S. If I could leave another review, I would due to a blown headlamp on a Friday afternoon. They got us right in and fixed it before the weekend, so we are so grateful for the entire crew at Lava Auto! I actually just use the car wash there. I have never used the car service center. The car wash is quick and I have always been treated very well there. If you wash your car frequently, use their cards..they will save you money in the long run. I get the platinum wash, with all the bells and whistles. They prewash your car before you go into the machine wash. I like that they tape down my back window washer arm.

I ve had my car serviced here several times for oil changes and repairs and have always been extremely satisfied. Everyone is so kind, especially the guy at the desk- Roger I believe. He went above and beyond to make sure my warranty would cover a repair when I had been in more than once for the same issue. I also recently stopped in to see if they d change my headlight bulbs, and one of the techs did it for me free of charge. Plus they give their customers free car washes at the Lava place when you ask :) Highly recommend this place!Services: Electrical, Oil change

I was in need of a repair before taking a trip. Roger and the Lava Auto team were amazing and able to get me in immediately. I was given a loaner car while the repair was being done so I wouldn't have difficulties getting to work and a scheduled appointment. I will definitely return here for future services. Excellent customer service! Thank you!

My experience was so amazing! I was shopping for the best deal on tires for my car and I'm not going to lie, I was starting to feel like buying new tires for my car was not going to happen because of the cost. Then I took my car thru the Lava car wash and noticed they have an auto and tire service as well. So I went in and got the price. I was blown away at the cost!! So affordable!! I had new tires by that afternoon! Their service was courteous, efficient and did I mention Affordable? I love my tires! I now have a place I will always go for tire service! I strongly suggest checking out Lava Auto and Tire Service before settling with another shop here in town!

Lava Auto was UGH-MAZING!!!! They were above nice and customer service. Kept me updated fair prices ..but also ...GOT ME in super quick! I also went over tires w them as they do that also!! I already have the car wash service and now used n will use the Auto Service. Roger and the crew are nice to work with and really try to help you with your vehicle. We have 3 that are needing work. That is a challenge in todays world to make sure to keep maintenance going on 3. I feel comfortable letting them work on our cars and that is rare for me. I was passing through Oregon in my 2015 Ford transit broke down. The mechanic stayed after hours trying to help me until we figure it out. We need it apart and they repaired everything immediately the next morning. I have to say that everyone went way out of their way to help me and repaired my vehicle. A few weeks ago my wife was visiting her mother in Albany and a coolant hose in our Land Rover broke. Since we are not from the area I wasn't sure who to call. I got Lava off of the internet and spoke with Roger. He was very patient and calm in our stressful situation and was able to fix our car the same day!! The Land Rover Dealership in Portland would have had our car for days (maybe weeks) to address this issue and excessively charged us for the work. They offer loaner cars (something Land Rover doesn't offer) and can do all the work on our car! I really appreciated their service and this is definitely our new repair shop and am happy to drive to Albany to have them work on our car.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I found a nail in my tire at a gas station a couple miles away. I immediately wanted to remedy it since we were on a road trip. A man I believe to probably be the owner had us in and out within 15 minutes and was very professional. I felt very prioritized and now I don t have to change my plans or watch the low tire pressure light pester me.Service: Tires

Extremely kind staff, I was told something was broken on my vehicle by a different shop my car was at. I called Lava to fix it and that part wasn't even broken, it was something way more simple. Always get my oil changes here - they are professional, do a good job, and timely. Today I came 30 minutes early and they got me in and out. They gave me a price quote for some break work that is needed but did not pressure me like some places do. I've been coming here for the pass almost three years, they are all very kind and respectful. I've honestly never had any serious issues using them. I come and get my oil changes four time a year, and have had a transmission flush in the pass. They leaded a car while the transmission was being done so I still has a way of transportation.Service: General repairs & maintenance

So thankful to find this place after experiencing bad virbrations on I5 during an intense rainstorm. After speaking with them on the phone I went right over and had them check out the car. Super lucky I did not keep driving as one of my wheels lug nuts were incredibly loose and my wheel was in danger of coming off! They didn t even charge me for taking the time to torque the wheels to spec. Nice to know there are places like this out there still

Lava Auto has been great helping us when we need to repair our vehicle, the loaner car they offer is a lifesaver! Was able to make it to work the days they were working on my vehicle. When I got my vehicle back it s always like a new car! Wow! These guys are the best! Roger and his team went above and beyond when our vehicle broke down over Thanksgiving weekend. They helped us with great financing with 0 percent interest and supplied us with excellent loaner car while they worked on ours. Very professional ASE certified mechanics. Very impressed and happy! I had new headlights installed at home (we live in CA) just before leaving on a road trip through OR, only to discover 500 miles from home that they were not properly adjusted and I could not drive after dark! Josh at Hertz Car Care of Albany told us we could just stop right in and they'd be able to get us back on our way quickly, which they did, professionally and cheerfully.The store is clean and neat.Thank you!

Forget Les Schwab and their outrageous prices for unnecessary service! Go to Hertz where you can expect reasonable prices for quality services. So far I love that I bought my car from them. The free oil changes alone make me want to buy from them in the future but the person who sold me my car(manager due to covid) was awesome and friendly and down to the point. I love everything about this place. The car wash and free vacuums is amazing.

Roger and the team at Lava are the epitome of old fashioned customer service. If you like to do business with people that truly care about customer satisfaction then you have found the right place. You aren't a stranger when you walk through the doors. I use this business for reliable repairs on my older vehicle and use their car wash to make the old truck shine. No fuss honest service from the staff at Hertz in Albany. I bought my car here, have service done, and enjoyed a free car wash after service was completed through the on-site car wash. I also received a free car rental for service that took a few hours, great feature for busy family.

The front office guy, Roger, is such a pleasure and takes care of customers. I cannot say the same for the past front office guy who would try to convince you that the recommended services were vital or your car would break down. The new staff are amazing. I came in for my first oil change on my 2018 Hyundai Tucson. They did a great job in checking over my.whole car and making sure everything was ship-shape. Im getting ready for a 2,000 mile trip and i rest assured my car is in very good condition. Josh was very helpful in explaining to me the difference between an air filter and cabin filter. I had made a wrong assumption and impulsively left a negative review. After the fact I asked Josh about it and realized I'd made a terrible mistake. I was able to delete it and apologize for jumping the gun. All in all I appreciate Josh's professionalism and following up with me. My experience was actually a very positive one. :)

They are awesome!!!! Very honest and they don't push you to fix things that aren't needed, I go to them for oil changes and they have fixed many things on my truck over the years, I definitely recommend taking your vehicles to them to get serviced.
