I walk in to the store and the guy at the counter looks at me like he's annoyed I'm there. I ask for the part that I need he asked me if it's a completely different part, I say what do you mean, he says well there's a front and there's a back. I repeat myself that I want a specific part and he says ok ya we have that in stock. He goes and gets it. I get home to find out he sold me the wrong part. Over all I honestly would prefer any other auto store in town this is just 1 example if there bad service and unknowledgeable staff.

Parts counter:Now that it's Advanced Auto or something like that, I orders parts for pickup. I stood at the counter while one person was there helping somebody for 20 minutes. I saw guys pulling parts off the shelf, guys waking back and forth.It wasn't until a guy from the machine shop walked by and realized something wasn't right that I got help. Nobody else said a word.I won't go back unless I have a coupon or code to get parts at their cost. I won't be their revenue maker.

I called with a simple question about buying old batteries. I was put on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up. I then called back 5 minutes later was put on hold again for another 5 minutes. Then I was told he thinks they do but he didn't know how to do that and nobody else there did either. If you can not handle something as easy as that then maybe you should find another job.

I bought some expensive paint there that was defective, and they took it back and replaced it despite the fact that I had poured it into small resealable containers. I've shopped there a number of times, and they've always been very helpful but this time was above and beyond. I fully recommend this store to anyone.

I delivered a block to the machine shop and never received a receipt or any thing that said I had been there. I thought about it and the fact I was told I would not be able to pick it up for two months. So I called when I got home to Salem Or. and it is not even the name that is on the outside of the building... it is some other company... I AM GOING TO PICK IT UP IN THE MORNING ! HOPE I don't get any trouble ...

I think they're your average auto parts store I'm not really a fan of Carquest but sometimes I do find parts in here for cars that I work on for my business that I can't really find other places
