Please check (by calling) if you are traveling this March 2024 to make sure their indoor pool is open. When I traveled on my spring break road trip (as a teacher). I found out after I booked and checked in that the pool was closed to all guests.Which, really upset me as it was the only reason I booked that specific hotel instead of something less expensive. . Breakfast was good and rooms were clean.Rooms: Were clean and comfortable.

If it wasn t for the housekeeping, it would be a 4 or 5 star rating. So let s start. 3 day weekend to visit local state parks with the kids. I m 6 4 and anything over 6 feet was NOT cleaned. There was an inch of dust and used tissue in the closet and debris above the kitchen area. No hot water on day two and no cleaning after telling the front desk, they moved us to an adjoining room.2nd room was better. Or we thought. We witnessed two men outside peeing next to their truck, parked that was blasting music. Just sitting there drinking beer. Our 2nd night getting the kids down to bed, our toddler finds a half drank Coors can between the bed and nightstand and he tries to drink it. What if that was spit, let alone beer?!?Front desk was nice, but the housekeeping staff all need to be fired. Floors have probably never been mopped (sticky) and the toilets were gross. Again, on top of the trash they never picked up from previous travelers.Again, would be 4 or 5 but the upkeep of rooms was awful.

I stayed here 5 nights in Oct 2023 when my mother passed away. Upon arrival the room was nice. You need to leave the water running for awhile if you want it hot. A couple days later housekeeping came and made the beds but didn't give us any new towels or toilet paper. I had to make 2 different trips to the front desk to get restocked. A customer shouldn't have to keep requesting essential items. I told them I thought I deserved a discount. Apparently they didn't see it that way.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It is undergoing a renovation and looks like it will be nice once finished. However, due to the construction, the pool and fitness center were closed, and there was no breakfast. So, I cannot comment on the amenities. The rooms are nice. Granite countertops in the bathroom. The mattress was comfortable. The very large fridge and microwave were extra nice since I could make myself breakfast. Most importantly, it was very quiet. No traffic noises. No parking lot noises (both people and cars). I would stay here again.

Stayed here on a Monday night. Place is being renovated and sure looks nice. No pool,no breakfast, work out room closed but when the Reno s are done I think it will be a busy hotel. Rates are a bit high for what u get. Rooms were roomy and very clean. Coffee in room along with fridge and micro wave. Lots of parking. Bed was comfortable and very little noise. No highway noise. And no noise from parking lot. Just people that slam there room doors. That s common in a lot of hotels.

I travel for work so I have experience with a lot of hotels. The hotel rooms are fairly nice but the service is lacking. So far in my three day stay my room has not been cleaned, the vending machines are empty, the pantry is empty, and they have not served breakfast at all. The staff seems more like a fill in verses an actual full time staff. If your coming to Woodward I would recommend Holiday Inn instead which is where normally stay which is a lot nicer and has better amenities. I have already told my employer not to book this hotel again.

Just for sleeping. We were on a family vacation with 4 kids. The pool was closed. You could see it and it was over taken by alge. The elevator was broken and the hallway was flooded in spots. Breakfast was scarce all they had was gross sausage and eggs. No bread but there was always butter, jam, and spread...? Advertises microwave in room. No microwave. Tried to call front desk but the phone didn't work. The number on the phone was from a different room. Hole in the bathroom ceiling. Fitness center was not clean at all pretty gross. Outside door to the side of building was broken so it didn't lock. But if you are just looking to sleep the beds were not super uncomfortable, the AC worked great. Water was hot and shower was nice. Over all room was clean. They have a kurigg in the room with 2 pods. And television. Rooms were spacious. Could be a super nice place but just not well maintained...or maintained at all. Could have paid half the price tho foe just a sleeping spot.

This La Quinta has really gone downhill and I've stayed here several times over the past few years. It used to be a favorite spot, but now I might not choose to stay here again on my road trips. The building is mostly in good condition, but I noticed the carpets were old and getting grungy. The side door didn't lock and was visibly damaged. The elevator was also down as of June 2022. They advertise "ultra fast" free WiFi, but I could not connect to it, no matter how many times I tried. In the room, my fridge didn't get cold. The shower took forever to heat up and the shower head sprayed out painful, sharp streams of water all over the place. This might be nit-picky, but at 6:20 AM there was nothing out for breakfast yet.I used to like staying here because it's relatively inexpensive and the beds are nice, but it seems like the quality and comfort have been degrading in recent months.

The elevator is out of service. Based on reviews, it has been for a while. The bed is a pillow top that was so worn that I had to put a pillow under my side to keep from rolling out of bed.The beds didn't have mattress protectors on them. A recent conversation with the maintenance crew at another hotel taught me that most hotels use bed bug proof mattress protectors for obvious reasons.I saw no bugs, but they obviously aren't doing everything possible to protect the hotel either. There was white powder along the walls in the room. I have no idea if this was residue from construction that didn't get cleaned up or possibly a bug treatment product.I saw no evidence of recent room construction though.

Stayed here for a couple of weeks and it was really nice. Yes there was no elevator but All staff being friendly made up for what it lacked. from the front desk to all housekeeping were great! They have a pool and a fitness room.Breakfast was good and the coffee being available all day was a plus. If we are ever in Woodward we ll definitely stay here again. Thanks!

One of the worst hotels I ve ever seen! The location is sketchy and the outside of the facilities is not maintained, that should have been my first clue to how this stay would go. We get inside and are told the elevator is broken, pool is out of order, no vending machines, and all they have is frozen biscuits for breakfast. On our way down the hall we have to walk through an inch or so of water that has flooded the hallway carpet and reeks of mold to get to our rooms. The room was disgusting, food on the floors, rips and blood stains on the bedding, leftover items from previous guests, broke air conditioner, stains splattered on the furniture and on the pictures on the walls, mold ring and leftover pubic hair in the shower, and a brown recluse spider in the bathroom. We booked through booking.com and there was a no refund policy. I have been in back and forth contact with Wyndham for a month now trying to get a refund since this hotel was nothing like described online! Do not stay here!!

Absolutely terrible! floors were flooded, pool was closed, elevator out of order, broken doors, you literally had to slam the door of my room to get it to lock. The rooms had a decent floor plan but the beds were smaller than queen as far as I could tell... seems like a man and a woman and an infant should be able to sleep somewhat comfortably on a Queen but it was a rough night. The AC did a poor job of cooling, turned it down to 67 when we got to the room at 3pm it was Hot, clear until the middle of the night!I've stayed at La Quintas all over! this is by far the worst one Ive ever stayed at!

This La Quinta should not be open for business; either management or corporate is not providing the staff the resources they need to run a hotel. I expect it will be closed within a month barring a big capital infusion. If I were employed here, I would be looking for another job yesterday.Backstory: they had to shut down some time in the past several weeks due to water damage from the fire protection system. It appears they rushed the reopening. In addition to the things mentioned in other reviews (closed pool, broken elevator, vacant 2nd-3rd floor), we encountered stained furniture, strange odors, wet-feeling (!?) bedding, a live wall-dwelling brown recluse, and a toilet that loudly, pipe-rattlingly shut its water supply off every minute or so, only to prepare for the next refill/shutoff cycle as the tank had a steady water leak.On the plus side, the HVAC unit worked just fine, TV worked, and mattresses felt pretty good. Several other reviews mentioned the inadequate breakfast but we got out as soon as we could in the morning, so we didn't experience it.To the staff: I am sorry that your supervisors have put you in this position and hope that you are able to find a better situation soon.To Wyndham La Quinta which has offered consistently excellent amenities in the past: you do your reputation no favors by continuing to accept reservations to this unsettling place from unsuspecting guests. I will be looking to another chain or ABB for acceptable amenities in the future.

The elevator was out. The vending machines were out. No drinks to buy from front desk. Breakfast included cereal but no milk. The tv in room was not working due to missing HDMI cable however they did give us one after we asked.A cheap place to get a room but don t expect amenities like other hotels. Or even other La Quintas. Would not stay here again unless it was my only option.

Stayed here in the middle of a winter storm and the staff was excellent. They allowed my friend and I to check in early and gave us a room near the elevator. The room was large, comfortable, clean, and well decorated. It was, by far, one of the best stays of our road trip.

WiFi was up and down (mostly down) for the three days we were there. Additionally, the rooms were dark because of light bulbs being out including the main light over the sink in the bathroom. We reported it twice and it never got fixed. I would have rated this place 1-2 stars, but the front desk lady was nice and upgraded the room for my wife and I. The breakfast wasn't the best either. You get things that can be microwaved in your room along with cold cereal and tiny cans of fruit juice.

Room was okay and clean, quiet, a/c worked good. We asked for a bath towel as only two were provided and there were three of us. No clean bath towels available. Seriously? They were out. I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. Their Wifi stinks as well.

Comfy and clean with the best, most variable grab and go breakfast I've seen during my cross country road trip (frozen breakfast pizza, sausage rolls, oatmeal cups, cereal, juice, etc, and Keurig coffee in the room). Not everything was perfect--the pool was closed and the elevator buttons were on the fritz (elevator still worked). But I'm sure it's hard to get these things fixed in the Middle of Nowhere, Oklahoma, especially with the low prices being charged. My stay was much better than expected.

Location was very easy to find. Room was very spacious for a good price. Pool was not working which my kids where very sad about. Room cleanliness I give them a 2 out of 10. As soon as we walk first thing we see is a can of MtnDew on a chair, when I sat on the bed I looked down towards the sofa bed and see popcorn an candy under the sofa. Employees where very friendly.

My husband and I first walked into the room we were assigned to and it wasn t even cleaned up. The whole room was a mess, there was a key card on the table so we assumed someone was already staying in that room. It really freaked us out. We went back down to the front desk and we were given a different room. The room is overall outdated, has a bad smell, there s stains on the bed and towels. I m so disappointed because I always stay at the La Quinta whenever I travel. Only positive was that the young lady at the front desk was really nice.

Wifi has been down for two weeks. The chairs and couch are not in the best shape but other than that no issues. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always ready and pretty good! Nice location also. Not too far from downtown plus grocery stores and really close.

I have family in Woodward and La Quinta has always been our go to hotel when visiting. One of the many reasons I love the place is the customer service which really fell short our last visit this past weekend. Multiple times when I needed front desk help the woman with glasses and lighter curly hair was always away from the desk and I waited up to 15 minutes for her to come back one time. She always walked in from outside smelling like cigarettes and was clearly annoyed that I was waiting. I also witnessed a tall lady with blond dyed hair talking down to one of the house keepers. It seemed like she was their manager and it made me really upset to see she would talk down to her in front of everyone like nothing. I can't imagine how the poor woman gets treated when they are in a private work area. I will give kudos to the other house keeping staff, they were always so kind, and did an amazing job cleaning our room and keeping us stocked up ( minus the taller lady with dyed hair). I'm really disappointed, and will have to look at other options for our stay next time

I stay there for 2 days last week on business. The first room I stayed in was on the bottom floor had no internet access at all for my computer or phone. After waiting about an hour and walking back and forth to the lobby to see if it was just my phone acting up, I spoke to the front desk clerk, she was nice, about it and she moved me to the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor a/c took about an 1-2 hours to blow cold air and the water pressure in the shower was dismal. It did have internet though. I wrote up some documents on my laptop and went down to the business office to print it off. The business office DOES NOT have Microsoft office installed, so if you have a word document you have to use word pad and then fix all the fonts and mistakes.I will NOT stay at a la Quinta in the future.

We even left my ring in the room and had to drive back and they had found it for us! Very blessed to have honest people. We will stay again when traveling through. Thanl you!!
