I brought my Tahoe in to Check Engine. I told Joey that I thought my vehicle was making a strange noise. When he stepped out of the office, Joey said he could hear it from there. He told me to bring it back the next morning. By later the next day, my Tahoe no longer made the noise. Still doesn t. Great job guys.Mike Stake

I can't express my gratitude enough for this shop and people like Joey Johnson. He took time out of his day to help me as I traveled thru his town about 20 minutes before his shop closed on a day that was about 100 degrees out. He understood that I needed a quick fix on my vehicle and didn't tell me "come back tomorrow" or "sorry, we're booked up" although every bay was full and there were more cars waiting for repairs. He dropped what he was doing and helped me on my way himself. I had an issue with my fuel tank leaking that I noticed at a gas station there in town. I drove to the closest mechanic which was "Check Engine" and Joey graciously freed up a bay to take a look and corrected the problem. He didn't have to do this and that's why you should take your car here. He had every right to put me in line with the other customers and see me when it was my turn. Probably would have cost me a night or two more on the road (more $$ out of pocket on top of the repair cost). He understood the situation though and did what was best for me, the customer, and sent me on my way the same day. That is real customer service. You aren't just a number to this shop, you aren't just another $ in their bank account. "Service" matters to them... The only thing Joey asked of me was that I notify him that I made it safe to my next destination! What a gentleman... Thank you again!Service: General repairs & maintenance

5 star review number 2 from me for Joey and team at Check Engine. My car has attention at amazing levels. They stick to the job until they fix the problems. I was worried that my repair was going to be costly because it was a real puzzle and took a lot of extra effort to figure out. I was blown away by the affordability of the repair. I wouldn't go any where else for auto service. I recommend to anyone who wants honest folks and fair prices.

Have a appointment on the ninth. So far they have treated me real good. Will say more after they work on my pickup. Work finished on my pickup. Excellent service! Excellent job well done! Would recommend CHECK ENGINE to anyone!!!!

From out of town and needed two new tires. Joey not only found me two matching tires and had them brought into his shop and set up a appointment. Work was done on time at a competitive price. Office, waiting room and shop are spotless. Highly recommend.

My trucks differential crumbled while I was at little Sahara. I had it towed to Woodward for repairs and and called some nearby shops. Glad I went with this one, they took care of my truck and did exceptional work as well. Joey was great with communication and friendly. Got the parts in and they buttoned it all up and was back on the road within days. Truck drives great!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I contacted this business for a quote to have two tires ONLY mounted on the rim with me bringing my own tire that was purchased online. I was quoted a very fair and common price (price matching based on experience and research), of $20 to $25 per tire. I called two other tire specific local shops before calling Check Engine, and was quoted the astronomical absurd price of $180 for two tires to be mounted to the rims. I really appreciate this shops presentation, as when I called the person I spoke with on the phone was super nice and friendly. What an awesome way to represent your business! I plan on throwing all of my vehicle service needs their way. Thanks!

I wish I could give them 10 stars. I was working out of town and my truck started messing up and I was trying to get home for Thanksgiving and they made sure I made it. The price was more than fair and the service was excellent. They really seemed to care.

With out a doubt best and most thorough oil change you can get. I have done business with Check Engine since they opened, and recommend them to anyone I know. Hands down the best quality of work around. Never pushy or try and get you to do unnessary repairs,and always able to explain any issue that you car has. How many places you know will even give you a ride home while they work on your vehicle?

I have taken my vehicles to Check Engine many times, Mike & crew are top of the line mechanics and there s nothing I wouldn t trust them to do! Even on a rare occasion they made a service call to stand behind their work!No Charge! Of course there are limitations people. But they certainly take care of their customers! And Joe the service/Parts writer is an expert in his own right, as he is very knowledgeable willing to trouble shoot, friendly, as well he s a mechanic himself!Drew Breisch 1/20/19

Wowow.... People say above and beyond service but some how these guys go further than that! Ran into a real crisis when a previous shop in OKC hadn't tighten my calipers bolts enough after getting a brake job. After driving almost 3 hours from OKC I turned off the highway in Woodward and had no brakes I had lost my caliper! Got it towed to Check Engine and getting the caliper was looking like it would have to be shipped. We brainstormed together that's right they include you in the whole process. We realized a used caliper could work to atleast get me to the city! Called salvage they had one! Luck was turning around until we couldn't get them to make sure we could get the part today to install. I needed to get back to the city for more work as it was the middle of the week. Figured I might have to tow my car 3 hours back to the city. Joey and the Owner bent over backwards making sure I could get the caliper. We finally get the part and in less than 45 mins they have it installed, bled the brakes, and checked all other calipers to make sure I'd make it safe. I did and they deserve more than 5 stars.
