I purchased 2 tires on the Walmart website and had them shipped to this Auto Center. I schedule an 8:00am installation so I could be done by 9:00 (their estimate.) I was the first customer there ie 7:50am and after 2 hours I went to the bay to check on my vehicle. It was up on racks with no tires at all and employees were standing around chatting. I asked the desk to get an update for me and was told 15 more minutes at most. 1 hour later they were finely done! It should not take 3 hours to install 2 tires! This put me 2 hours behind in a very busy day. Not a pleasant experience at all!!

Tire department was very helpful. Reason for the 4 stars is because of information I received regarding the tires for my type of vehicle. I went to the 66th & Memorial location. I really like this Super Walmart location. Mr Joe, and another tire associate were very helpful. The door greeter by the tire shop was a sweetheart.

I came in for an oil change for the first time because people told me walmart is a best and fast place to get an oil change at. well, it took two hours to an oil change. not to mention me having to go to auto parts to get a oil filter because they didn t have it? so when i asked if the oil filter is going to be taken off the total price they told me it will, but for only $3 dollar . so what they are telling me is i bought a almost $30 oil filter only for $3 to get taken out, along with waiting two hours. i regret coming here and should have just sticked with south point chevrolet

Went in for a simple tire replacement. They stripped the lug nuts and damaged them. Cost me 140 dollars to replace the damage parts, and on top of all that after they damaged them they said nothing they could do and sent my wife and kid on their way. Buy your tires here sure but do not have them to do any work on your car. You have been warned.

Clean, guy was friendly enough.But when I stopped in a half hour before closing to buy a battery and have it swapped out, a job that takes maybe 10 min, the guy flat out refused to do it because it was "too close to closing". I couldn't even turn my car off because then it would need to be jumped again - it wouldn't hold a charge. So I drove across the street to advanced auto care, where the battery was actually cheaper, they had me in and out of there in 15 min, and they were extremely friendly. If you need a battery, go there, it's way better than Walmart's auto center.

They are fast & efficient & most if all trust worthy I actually trust wal mart over jiffy lube, take 5 or precision jiffy has been known to not put any oil in your car never to me but I knew someone who worked for them & precision didn't put ANY oil in my truck once & I went all the way to Houston with dirty oil that was low & never changed & i got the oil change the day before i left all the way from tulsa ok they didn't even change the plug & take 5 I don't think even emptied my oil either once it was black & old only way I knew was because a week later I had an oil leak because my gasket needed to be replaced & when the mechanic emptied the oil is when he asked when was the last time you got your oil changed i said last week why & thats when he showed me how black the oil was but wal mart ive been going for a couple of years now & never not once have i had any of these issues & they have the best prices around i use them for both of my vehicles

We took my mom's truck here to get an oil change because the automotive center on 81st totaled our car so we took mom's truck here and guess what they did a good job. Still waiting on Walmart to step up and do what is right and fix the damages to our car that we cannot drive no more it's totaled. They are still trying to no fix our car or pay for to replace it. So be aware when taking your car to get oil change I suggest this Wal Mart at this location is great be aware of the 81st and lewis automotive. Staff here at this location on memorial are great all of them are great. We are so appreciative to this location. 66th and memorial

These guys are a bunch of yahoo's. Don't waste your time or money here if it means something to you. I waited 2 1/2 hours on a Thursday morning, waiting for ONE SINGLE TIRE. Guess what, it wasn't even installed onto a vehicle. Just purchased and put on the rim. THATS IT !

They make you stand in line for 20 minutes to tell you- oh your service just started it s not done yet.The fact that they make people stand in line 20-30 minutes to help ONE customer when they have a line of 10 people waiting is FREAKING OUTRAGEOUS.DO BETTER

The Manager is extremely nice and rationale. If you have an issue with anything, you can reach out to him - and he will remediate the issue. He is very empathetic and sincere (cares about the customer).

Called this Walmart after a bad phone call with the memorial Walmart and it was like night and day. Great customer service and gave me as much info as they could over the phone.

I came and got 2 new tires for the back of my truck. Earlier in the day I had replaced all 4 of my tire pressure sensors. The guy that replaced my tires at this location said I would need to go to another Walmart and have them reset the pressure sensors since their equipment was broken...fair enough it happens. I went to the Walmart I had the sensors replaced at originally and they told me one of the tires no longer even had a sensor in it. The guy who replaced my tires at this locations wasn't able to reset it because he broke it and put a regular valve stem in the tire. When I called this location to speak to a manager they said it was not their problem since the only paper work they showed involving tire sensors was my original store...needless to say I will NOT return to this location. I would give it negative stars if possible for this experience! Horrible that a tech would outright lie that way and poor customer service by management to rectify the situation!Service: Tires

I have used this Walmart Automotive Center for all of my vehicles: 2 cars and a camper van for the past 5 years. I've had oil changes done on a regular basis, tires repaired and replaced and have purchased accessory items like wiper blades, air filters, etc.Though it sometimes takes longer than a quickie oil change place, I prefer the Walmart service. Good prices and decent work. While I've heard people say it's a disaster waiting to happen (stripped cap, leaking oil, etc.) I have never encountered that problem.If I'm concerned about the length of time it will take, I call ahead to check on the wait time. But, even if it's going to be awhile, I always have shopping to do.I have run into minor issues with the more complicated things like ordering specialized tires online and having them installed here. But, that was an usual situation and eventually resolved well.Some of the personnel are more friendly and helpful than others, but overall I have found the service to be just fine. I also find that they are willing to help out in situations where you have questions or need advice, like battery condition or such. One thing I like is that they don't seem to work on "commission" as some places do, so I trust that their opinions won't reflect their desire to make more money.

Pulled up middle of the day with an obvious flat and instead of saying anything to me, the techs simply shut the garage door on me. So I went inside to ask for help and they told me they didn t want to put me on their list and that I should go somewhere else I m just glad I made it to Discount Tire on my flat - way more professional there.

Everything else, this Walmart is just like any other. Better than a lot of others, since it's fairly clean and newer than the other Supercenters in Walmart. But as for the auto center, avoid it like the plague.First bad experience was with our tires. Our car needed a new tire after running over a big nail. We went in to get it, signed up and everything and left our car with them while we went to do some grocery shopping. After a while, we went back and that's when our first problem came up. They needed to tell us something, but wrote our phone number down wrong so they couldn't call us. We still needed the tire, though, so we still paid for it. Second problem was, they were just about to close so, instead of putting our tire on like they were supposed to, they just gave us the tire which we had to put on ourselves.That was obnoxious, but we were fine. Then, just the other day, we needed a new battery for the car. The battery keeps going out on us ever since we got the new one.Find somewhere else to get your car taken care of. Anywhere else.

I took my wife's car to have her battery replaced a couple of months ago.What I thought would be routine turned out otherwise. It took about two hours to get the new battery installed and this was after checking on it the second time.After paying, I checked under the hood and found that they did not install the bracket to secure the battery to the frame. They had to locate it in the service bay and got it installed.After that, I was able to start the car but it would putter out and then die. I don't fault them for this as it is an older car but it took three techs (one was the service manager) to determine what the issue was and get the car going again.Unless you plan to spend several hours at Walmart, I'd would recommend going somewhere else.

I've utilized walmarts for years for simple service on all my vehicles. Typically my experience with most of them has been decent but THIS one in particular as one person put I'd avoid like the plague. Was told different things by each employee I spoke with. Warranties are useless, don't spend the $.

Every problem anyone has can be explained in a few simple ways.1 Mis-communication2 User does not understand cars3 Low number of technicians4 You are in line. Wait your turn.5 Its closing time there's a lot to do before any of them get to go home.Also notice how, out of the hundreds of vehicles per week there are only a couple reviews. No one cares about sharing the good because it's done and taken care of.P.S. Don't piss off the guy working on your car.

Just needed 4 tires changed out. It's not that hard to take a tire off the rim and put a new one back on. Been sitting waiting for 2 hours and still don't have them done. DONT COME HERE. That means it takes them over half an hour to change out one tire!! Ridiculous. Should have gone to Robertson tire they would have been done in 20 mins!!!

Great prices and good service. Just get in early or things can back up. Got a friend s tire fixed. Don t have to worry about being sold a million extras in the process.

Beware if they break it you will pay for it as walmarts agreement you sign when getting an oil change states they are not responsible to damage to your car they do. They broke my dipstick and said they couldnt change my oil becuase they broke and they would not fix it. I got it out myself but had i not i would of been SOL

I usually change my oil at this center among other services a month ago I changed my battery I was attended by a man named Josh with a very bad mod and in an aggressive attitude, It was a very unpleasant experience.recently I went back for an oil change and my surprise was that this person was again attending the front... my question is how can such a bad and aggressive person continue to work and attending customers I don't feel like returning

Went for oil change. Told it could take an hour. Went shopping and came back to check on the car. I was told they couldn't open the door. I had given them my key and fob!!! I went outside and showed them how to press a button!!!!! WTH!
