Terrible service, very rude people, they do not respect closing hours, the exaggerated prices of their pieces are not at all in line with the terrible service they offer, according to their website the last entrace hour is at 4:30, I arrived at 4:24 and they had its doors were closed, I showed them the time and they still refused to let me in they just say that entry is only until 4.30. In my opinion, there are better places in the city and with better prices.

2 employees checked my tool bag going into the yard, neither said anything about the window switch I had brought to make sure was the same. Upon exiting, they tried to charge me for my own part I brought in, refused to get a manager, and kept my part. I ve gone here for over 15 years no problems until today. I will never return. Horrible business since they changed from LKQ to PYP. Don t waste your time.

Used to be a pretty reasonable place to get cheap parts and stuff that you couldn't get through normal parts retailers. It seems like in the last year or two everything's gotten worse. Seems like more things are charging you for a core that just seems weird to ask for. I can understand complex mechanical parts and electronics but some of these just don't make sense. Though my biggest gripe is the fact that I had no idea that I had to ask to decline they're 90-day warranty, it it's "offered" but I wasn't asked, it wasn't talked about and I didn't even realize it until after I left. May have been a mistake, it may have been intentional, but shame on me for not thinking to look beforehand but I don't really think I'm going to be coming back anytime soon not with the other places I can go.

They wanted 130 dollars for a grill that costs 30 new, I think they should check the prices before going, it would be better to order them new.

Employees not helpful at all. I purchased a sun visor and was charged $32 for one. When I paid I wasn't paying attention to the price. I asked her why it was so expensive, she was very rude and said because that is the price. I looked at my receipt and noticed an almost $10 warranty charge. I never asked to purchase one so why would they add it to my total without asking me. She stated that is LKQ policy and they don't have to ask they just add it to every single item you purchase without anyone knowing unless you asking not to buy the warranty. I asked her where that policy was stated or displayed to let customers know it was there responsibility to make sure and tell customer that they don't want to pay for the warranty. She couldn't show me. Then got very rude and nasty after I asked for a refund of warranty price. She said no and walked away. They are thieves. Will not go back.

The LKQ Pick Your Part organization has figured out how to systemize a process to rip people off. Their prices are higher than any other similar yards in the area, and are close to the prices that you would pay at a full service salvage yard or maybe even for a new part. However, where they make a lot of their money, without people knowing it, is the automatically added "90 Day Worry-Free Guarantee". They don't tell you they are adding it and they don't ask you if you want it, but you get it unless you know their scheme and tell them that you don't want it BEFORE the transaction is made. And they add it, in some amount, for nearly everything they sell. If you buy a cup holder or a dipstick and don't tell them that you don't want their "90 Day Worry-Free Guarantee" BEFORE they complete the transaction, you are the proud owner of a guarantee for your cup holder or dipstick or anything else that you buy. The fees for this add-on is over 20% of the cost of the part, which is already over-priced.Please use LKQ Pick Your Part as an absolute last resort. There are similar salvage yards in town where you can get in cheaper, pay less for parts, and not get slammed with fees that you don't want. If you have to go to LKQ Pick Your Part, know what you're getting into, and tell them AHEAD OF TIME that you don't want their guarantee, unless you really think that you need it.

LKQ has went downhill very fast in the last couple of years. In quality, customer service, prices, availability of parts. AND we tried to call the self serve yard to get a price on a part. The automated service told us a bunch of stuff that we already knew and then hung up.

Didn't know they charged a 90 day guarantee n I put my parts in my vehicle. Didn't really have time to look at the receipt n yet they didn't ask nor notice me about just automatic then go to ask for the money that they sneaked from under me to say "You have to let me know before hand so I wouldn't have charged you" but can't give me money back something I didn't ask for. Pretty cheap business there.

Employees 5 starsVery good and very helpfulInventory very well kept and organizedManager was an absolute prick I had pulled 2 individual pieces of a 3 piece intake manifold, he said I ll have to charge you the price of an intake manifold for each piece! This would make the price of an intake manifold $150 . Their own website lists the cost as $49 for the whole manifold .

Both visits were better than expected...$3 entry fee, and they tell you exactly where to find make and model of the vehicle you're needing parts for. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the website quoting $34 for the alternator I needed (with core), and was actually charged $48 (with core). I could have bought a brand new one for $50. Yes. If would have taken longer to have it shipped, but it would have been brand new! Overall good experience, friendly staff, clean and organized, and wheelbarrow use free of charge was appreciated greatly cuz I didn't have to carry my heavy tools far...will definitely return for any parts needed when used parts is not an issue to fix my vehicles...

Great for parts, super rude service and they charge you more for an optional warranty you probably don t want or need but they won t say anything they just charge you for it with every part you get.

I know it's not entirely the employees fault for wanting tips/commission ect, good numbers to impress the "manager" but when this place literally includes the OPTIONAL warranty on every single purchase without asking the customer first and then proceeds to pressure the customer when they decline the OPTIONAL warranty, Then there are serious problems with the management. Business like this should be illegal.

I use LKQ as an absolute last resort. Prices are way to high (almost new prices) and the 90 day warranty is just shy of theft. Bring back free 30 day warranty and quit robbing the customer. They do have a better selection and they do offer a military discount and free entry with military ID (for now)

I would not go to LKQ They are way over priced And will add hundreds of dollars worth of fees and not tell you about them I got charged 200 plus dollars in fees. And they refuse to refund. They are scammers. Please stay clear.

If you like wasting money, then this is the place to shop. There's five pull a part yards in Tulsa and LKQ has the highest prices of all the self service yards. Even their admission fee of $3 is the highest in town. All the other yards in Tulsa charge $2 bucks. They usually have the parts because locals only use them as a last resort because of the prices and unfriendly service. If you do not repeatedly tell them sternly at checkout that you do not want their stupid warranty, they will charge you for it automatically. If you do let them know that you do not want the warranty, it makes the cashiers mad, so they will go thru all your stuff charging you for everything and I do mean everything. Everywhere else including full service yards, when you purchase a bumper cover it comes complete and not as a shell. Not only will LKQ charge you for the bumper cover, but will also charge separately for all the grills, fog lights, bezels and even extra for the lower valance that is riveted on the bumper cover. To be honest, if the other pull a part yards don't have the part in Tulsa, I'd rather drive three hours one way to Buddy's U Pull in Springfield, MO before having to deal with LKQ. If they had a little bit friendlier staff, it would be a little easier to stomach. Again, buyer beware and be prepared to spend the most money you've ever spent pulling your own parts. That's the only guarantee I can give you about this place.

I've been buying radiator fans for my caravan all over the country in u-pull-it yards. The fan assembly pretty much everywhere is $25, because the likelihood of some old fans lasting very long isn't very likely. I've had 3 that have failed after 6 months. However at these other yards, I get a 30 day warranty for free.At LKQ after finding and removing two good candidate fans from a couple cars I brought one up to pay. The price I was quoted was insane. 63 dollars, because I had to pay for the ability to return it immediately. For instance, if I put it on my van in the parking lot and it didn't work, without the warranty they won't take it back and they keep my money.Sorry, not playing that game. A new fan unit online shipped is just under 100 bucks. Guess I'm gonna buy a new one.I would have paid the price with the core and no warranty if you'd take it back after trying it in the parking lot. But if it's defective from the get go, you don't take it back. That's thievery. LoL.

I went by on Sunday and was lucky enough to find the parts needed. At the moment of the checkout I noticed a 90 day gu charge. I asked what was that for and the cashier explained that is a protection fee in case I return the parts. I explained that I had no intentions of doing that and to void the charge. The cashier refused by saying that I should have said it before they rang the items. One of the items purchased was a rear light that came off a 96 vw, they typed it in the system as Jetta 2002 bringing the price up.This place has a good inventory but sadly, the people running the business will take your money without mercy.

Stupid automated machine can't even talk to a human to confirm questions that the site DOES NOT answer. The automated phone lines ONLY repeat directions & hours of operation to the closest branch (it doesn't care if you're going to a different one. It automatically assumes the closest location to your area code. So anyone with an out of state area code, beware.)I can't ask for any real information BEFORE I drive the 6 hours to Tulsa. And all I had was one simple question to ask that the site didn't answer and they keep hanging up the phone before the voicemail memo even finished playing 22 times. Wooooooow. Great customer service guys [sarcasm]

I went to get a driveshaft yike today. Driveshaft was bent beyond use,$75. Just the yoke,$25. I told the cashier what I needed showing him this bent in three places driveshaft,$75,but it's bent, still have to charge driveshaft price. Luckily it had new u joints and it came apart easy. $25 plus a warranty on a used drive line part fee. You can keep your bent up $50 scrap driveshaft. I will use LKQ self service as a last resort from now on. Updated my rating also.....

Been here quite a few times, always kind employees, and yard is clean and organized. Knocking one star off because one of the last few times I went the prices changed depending on who was checking me out. I think it was the manager that came out and starting 'Nickle and Diming' me on some of the parts.Update 1 year later: I have since moved away from Tulsa but came back about a year later when I was in the area and stopped in the yard to see if they have any parts i am on the search for. Prices have absolutely sky rocketed here. This is the most expensive junk yard I think I have ever been to. Unreal. Will not be returning here again.

Pretty good selection, good location, and really great pricing if you can find parts in good condition. Inventory as far as what vehicles are in the lot is posted online and the clerk will give you a list of where on the lot the vehicles you ask about are located. They are now implementing a system where they log what part is sold from what vehicle, but I have yet to see its benefit.Recently the clerks have started adding the optional warranty, which costs extra, on to each item. This practice is morally questionable and is the only reason that I didn't give five stars. The warranty CAN be worth the money. However, charging the customer extra without informing them is dishonest. Particularly when the item is something like a trim piece or window glass. The last two trips I've saved $20 by declining the warranty on items that didn't need them and that were added on without my consent. Just be aware.

We love LKQ pick your part because we can go up there pay two bucks a person to get in and spend the morning finding all the parts we need for both of our older vehicles. The pricing is amazing and you know what you're getting because you remove it yourself. I much prefer this because I like to see the condition of the vehicle I'm removing the part from, whether it's been taken care of before it was junked or whether it looked like it was just used and abused and maybe I don't want the piece that I'm looking for from that vehicle. The staff is always great. Do you research on their website before you go up there that way you know what vehicles you're looking for and what rows they are in, the staff will print you off a ticket with the location of particular vehicles you're looking for but not always do they include every compatible vehicle in that list so do you research on your vehicle and go up there looking for any and all models including the part that you are seeking.
