Amazing experience with these folks. I took my car in to reattach my splash guard. Most places (understandably) would not do this without the proper fasteners, which had completely disappeared. But I had to have replacements, or what could they do, right?Well, I bought what I thought were the replacement parts and left the car with them. While I was gone, they learned the parts were the wrong ones and they took the extra step to buy the correct ones at the supply store next to them. I guarantee you, no one else would have taken the time to do that.So, I show up to get my car, and they wouldn't let me pay them a dime, not for the work or for the replacement parts. "We got you taken care of, that's all that matters" is what I was told. I was gobsmacked.Granted, it was a quick thing for them to do, but to just get me situated and send me on my way? Well, that's a level of customer service I didn't think still existed, especially from a big company like that. They have made me a supporter for life.

I took my car to this location to get all new tires as well as an alignment at the end of September last year. They were supposed to be brand new tires. 3 months later I realize my front passenger tire is COMPLETELY bald on the outside. So I called and they said they could get me in and out in 30 minutes. I waited 3 hours and they hadn t even moved my car from the parking lot. I eventually just asked for my keys as I was planning on taking my car to a different pepboys location, that I had previously called and was told they could do it. When I arrived at the pepboys on Admiral, they said because I bought the warranty at the Memorial location, I could only have my tires replaced at that location. So I called the the memorial location and the guy said if I brought the car back in to him that day, he would have it fixed by the end of the day. So I took it back and left it there. Only to get a call saying I was going to have to pay $2300 to fix my suspension BEFORE they could replace my tire. I tried to explain that it s December, my tire is completely bald on the outside and my main concern is a new tire to get me through the winter months and I would replace the suspension later. The guy told me he would not replace the tire unless I paid to have the suspension fixed. I ended up taking my car somewhere else to another place that changed out the tire in 15 minutes. To no surprise, my front tire on the driver side is now looking the same way. I don t suggest servicing your vehicle through pepboys unless you want bad quality work, bad customer service and dishonesty.

I was in Tulsa for a corporate meeting and my alternator died. I was alone, unsure what to do and the team at this location was amazing! Super helpful- answered all of my questions and quick to fix the problem and get me home. Not the normal customer service I have received in other auto shops. Hopefully I won t need to be back but I appreciate what they did to help so quickly!

I called to set up an appointment for a tire balance and the person I spoke with said they would set me up for the following Monday at 4:30 he took my name and number. That following Monday I showed up right on time went inside and waited and front counter for a good 15 to 20 minutes before someone came to the front desk. After letting the associate know I was there for a 4:30 appointment he asked for my name and then told me he didn t have anything with my name or number. After asking if I could still be seen that day he told me I would have to wait until 5:30 and could be seen only if the other appointment didn t show up.

I took my car to Pep Boys on 03/15/2024 to have my front strut replaced on my 2014 Chevy Impala. They advised me they could have the part in 30 and min but it took and hour for the part to arrive. I specifically told them that I need a quick strut instead they installed a strut and it without the assembly piece to it. I left with my car making the exact same noise as it was when I bought it to them. I contacted them regarding the issue and was advised to bring my vehicle back in only to be told the master mechanic was not availabl7. I took it to a different location only to find out they didn't tighten the stutt correctly. This did not fix the issue due to them not installing the quick strut as they should have. Secondly this company charged me almost 3X the cost of the part. ( Deceptive Pricing). They get the parts from Autozone at a lower cost ( I have their account price as well as the price of the original part) and the cost that they sold the part to me for. I am filing not only a corporate complaint but also with the BBB. They are going to refund me my money. I promise that.

I went to this location for a free ac check because my car was blowing warm air .They weren't even with my car for 5 minutes before the guy comes out saying I needed to do an additional diagnostic for $60. I said okay. Wasn't too happy about it but whatever. Then they come back saying I needed to have my coolant fan replaced and it would be $1000 to fix. I had an issue with the coolant system last year so I thought that was insane. I took my car to Midas on Peoria and they said the coolant fan was working properly and it was my compressor that was the issue. I would not trust this pep boys at all. Giving me a false diagnosis just to get money out of me. They probably didn't even need to do that additional "diagnostic". Wish I could rate them 0 stars.

Went to the shop on 71st and memorial to have my car checked out and the manager John helped me fix my check the engine light. He explained me on what was done and answered any questions about what was going to be done. He was super busy helping out all the calls and people who came in to get work done. Would recommend people to bring their car here to get it serviced.

I set an appointment for 12:30 p.m., but they couldn't find it. They told me my service would take 90 minutes; however, it took 3 hours they had misquoted and needed an additional $50. Then, when I got home, I discovered they hadn't put my dipstick back in, so I had to make another trip out there...Oh my goodness, this is what I just sent to their customers support in addition to my first complaint , this is absolutely unacceptable.."Thank you for your response.The situation has gone from bad to worse.Allow me to explain.I work part-time as an Amazon Flex driver on weekends. I had three blocks scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday. This evening, in preparation for my shift tomorrow, I decided to check my car's tires, fluids, and check for any codes.First, I checked my tires; all 4 tires were overinflated. My tires call for 30 PSI, but they were inflated to 39. So I corrected that issue, then I checked my brake fluid, and it was very low, so I corrected this issue as well. Then I checked the oil level, which was severely overfilled. This will need to be corrected. Then I checked for codes, and sure enough, my car was coding at the oil pressure sensor. I work two jobs to support my family, and I'll now need to cancel my routes this weekend, costing me over $250. I'll need to have my car serviced and possibly repaired.I'm giving serious consideration to filing a complaint with the consumer protection agency. Initially not the overall best experience, they fixed what I requested, and was told everything was good, and left with a horrible screeching noise when I turned and pulling to the right despite an alignment being part of the service.Came back and explained the issue ( 5pm) to be told to come back tomorrow as they had no one available to look at the car again.Came back first thing in the morning and the service was phenomenal, they were apologetic about the issue, and had me back on the road within an hour with everything sorted right.If Eric or John get your car at this location, you have nothing to worry about. Despite the initial issues, I would bring my car back here again with one of them as they stand behind their work and take care of you.

Pep boys changed my spark plugs barely 2 years ago brand new . My car engine light turned on while driving and my car started to shake! When I got it checked out he pointed out I had really cheap and bad plastic spark plugs put in. He put better ones in for 40$ a spark plug. Way cheaper and better quality than this place! I paid 600$ 2 years back and wish I didn t go alone. Pep boys did me so dirty. No one should go here because they do not care about quality nor safety of your vehicle.

Definitely not a place you want to take your vehicle. Not only are they extremely bad at time management, but are also dishonest. They are dishonest in their price quoting as well as the services they did on your car. I will also say for young ladies to not go alone, as terrible as it sounds we ve been told ridiculous things we have to pay for, when nothing was wrong with it. Not a place I d recommend if you want quality, honest work.

Great Job on the tires, although I was mislead on the pricing, because I didn t order them I didn t get that price, very disappointing. What s the point of having a website if you won t honor those prices. They should be better and more transparent when it comes to pricing. I also applied for a credit card and was told I would get 10% off. Unfortunately another thing was not followed through. Get better and be better.

Great experience! Apparently, they have new management and new technicians. Eric Wright did my oil change. I was very pleased with the service. I will definitely let Eric work on my car in the future.

So, it s great that they fixed my flat for *free* (free, because I already paid for the road hazard plan), but it took them nearly 6 hrs to get it done. At least they paid for Uber/Lyft to get me home and back so I didn t have to sit around the shop, so that was nice. Just realized after I left that they put the spare tire back incorrectly, so I ll probably just fix that myself rather than another 6 hrs wasted without my vehicle

Was quoted a price for four tires by Eric on Monday 11/27, asked him about mount and balance and he said that particular price was for all of it. Scheduled an appointment for yesterday, 11/28, and the price was higher than what I was quoted and was told by Jason that the mount and balance isn't included and Eric should know that since he has worked there for a while. Jason told me he would contact their IT department to pull the call. Will probably never get this resolved, just like I will never go back to Pep Boys and will be sure to share my experience with everyone I know. (Eric also lied and said I had to let him write up the ticket for the tires that night or I wouldn't get the price he quoted me. Now, I'm seeing that the sale for B2G2 is valid through 11/30.)

Was traveling on the highway and my tire had a slow leak. Came into pep boys 20 min before they closed . They put a new tire on and got me back on the road . Very helpful and great customer service .

The Pep Boys shop near 71st and Memorial is so very clean and organized. Their attention to detail is very much appreciated. I've been to this shop on several occasions and have always come away very pleased with their professionalism and, above all, their fine work on my vehicle. This is a very well run store.

My experience with pep boys was THE BEST experience I have ever had with a mechanic or an auto repair shop. With a smile on face and no hesitation in my words I would proudly refer any of my friends or family members to pepboys.On Friday Nov 10th 2023 I arrived at the pepboys store on South Memorial on time for my noon appointment. When I opened the door and stepped inside there at the counter stood Eric with a smile on his face kindness in his voice he asked how he could help me. As Eric was locating my order from online he divulged to me that he was the only one there that day. As the phone is rings and a customer walks in Eric with a smile still on his face and kindness in his voice answers the phone then takes care of the young lady then turns to me and says we'll ma'am I'm not the world's fastest with tires but just give me a bit and I'll get ya fixed up.Eric then proceeded to take my car around to the shop and fulfill my order for tires and installation. An hour later he came back to the front to check in with me and also he answered two phone calls and helped two other customers who both spoke no English and Eric no spanish. Right after he helped a third young man pick up his vehicle. Eric took a breath and well im gonna go finish up then do my paperwork and ill have ya outta here. A little later here he came with my car.All in all im totally amazed at how eric maintained his professionalism and remained so humble. Erivs performance stands above the rest as a technician and as a manager which if hes not yet he needs to be. Thank you pep boys and thank you eric for such awesome customer service.

Let s talk about a someone taking a serious and professional approach to mechanics, service and time management Weston, gets 6 stars.One of my employees dropped in with one of our vans desperately needing a full service and Put me on 3-way. Although Weston was the only front office person there he was able to hear out my issues, respond effectively and provide solutions while at the same time snagging 2-3 calls holding them and then quickly getting my needs met. He took my number and said he d call in case anything came up.Now I work with a lease company that is notorious for clearing approval for obvious repairs, sometimes they will take several hours and still have no decision Not with Weston, he called me back within 30-40min and had everything resolved with two mechanics on my van getting it worked on.Time is money in my line of work Major major kudos! I have 4 vans on the road and our route goes through Tulsa, this will be our go to shop when service is needed. Thank you!

Waste of 2+ hours and left in an Unsafe car due to their mistakes.I took my vehicle in this Sunday to get a whole patched in my tire. I made an appointment ahead of time(for noon) and dropped it off 10 minutes early even. I was told it would take 45 minutes maximum. I came back 45 minutes later to see my car hasn t moved at all. Eric at the front desk told me they where currently working on it and would pull it out soon. He followed up 2x saying they would pull it back out soon(even tho I see it parked where I parked it in their lot). I asked after waiting for 45 minutes and he again said they would pull it out asap. I pointed out that I can see the car in the parking lot(so I know it s not being worked on). He replied saying they are about to pull it back and then it would be a quick fix.Only to find out a full two hours after my appointment that they can t patch it and the only tire they have that I could buy to replace it is $250. Such a frustrating waste of time.When we went to leave they hadn t screwed the bolts in on the tire so the tire was wobbly. And we weren t able to leave the parking lot safely. We pulled over and saw how loose bolts where. We were able to pull them off with our hands easily. They can out in the parking lot to tighten them but it was so dangerous and scary that they didn t have them tightened to begin with.Additionally another women arrive the same time as I did. She waited over an hour before they told her they didn t have the tools to fix her car tire.

Chris and the techs there really helped to make my vehicle road safe for My daughter and I. They try to assist anyway they can. This is my place to go to get my vehicle maintenance done! On Memorial, close to 71st.Also is a great place to walk around while the car maintenance is getting done.

Would not recommend. Dropped my car off for a oil change. As soon as i pickedmy car up it was making a weird noise. I am not sure what they did with it, but now I have to go out of my way to take it to a mechanic to see what the men at pep boys broke. Not happy.

Purchased 2 tires online and scheduled an install appointment for 11am. When I arrived(15 minutes early) the front desk estimated a 1-2 hour wait for my vehicle to even be seen(why did I make an appointment if they are not able to get to the vehicle as the specified time?), total time of service was almost 4 hours for install of 2 tires and replacement of tire pressure system in one tire. At the completion of service I received the bill at checkout and the total included the price of the tires. I questioned the employee at the front desk about the charge, as I had believed that I already paid for the tires online. He informed me that I would not have paid for them online due to security issues(??) and that I needed to pay for them. Trusting him and unable to access my work email to confirm a receipt I paid the invoice and returned to my office. Upon confirmation that I had paid for the tires already and had now paid twice for the same tires, I returned to the store with my original receipt and after a long wait and little communication, the front desk acted confused and irritated that I expected a refund, and refused to issue one even though I had presented them with a legitimate PepBoys receipt. Overall their service was horrible and I would not recommend using PepBoys for your car maintenance needs unless you enjoy paying double the listed price of their tires.

If you brought in a vehicle that was tracking straight with a centered steering wheel, and it was returned to you with a steering wheel that was offset by about 40 degrees (and given a chance to correct it), were only offered lame excuses that don't make sense, would you be happy?

I paid for a lifetime alignment last year, I make an appointment for 5 days in advance for an oil change and alignment. Only to have my apps canceled. Chris the self comfired manager states the two cars held over for alignments was the reason my appointment was canceled. I paid a hell of a lot of money for that lifetime alignment and feel that this is the reason I was canceled for my appt. Taking my car elsewhere for oil change. I would not fall victim to their lies co corning lifetime anything. Pepboys is a scam. They lack honesty and charecter. I'll be addressing it with the bbb.
