Great first time experience. I brought in my Mini Cooper Clubman for an oil change and tire rotation. The staff was friendly and helpful. They explained what other services I should consider for the future without pressure and I felt their pricing was very reasonable. I recommended O'Brien's to a friend to diagnose and repair his 2008 BMW 750i. They said he needed new spark plugs because the ones he just had installed (from another mechanic) were after market. For new spark plugs (Bosch) they gave him a price of over $400 (labor only). I told him to call the BMW dealership to check their price and BMW of Tulsa service department quoted him $289 (labor and parts). One of the reasons customers used these types of companies is to avoid dealerships (sometime) enormous fees. Lesson learned! Don't discount the dealerships!

I have been using O'brians Auto for years. All my cars are BMWs from 1980 to 2007. Lindsey and Robert are about the best team I have encountered when it comes to foreign auto repair. Lindsey - parts, Robert - mechanic.Their not the cheapest but they get it done right, you get what you pay for "Experience".Services: Transmission, Carburetor cleaning, Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

I have been using O'Brien Auto to maintain our cars for over a decade. I have always been very pleased with thier honesty and professionalism, recently I was traveling out of the country and my daughter had a check engine light on prior to her return to KU, the staff got her in to check the car to ensure it was safe to drive back to school. Little things like this make all the difference in the world. Great crew and always friendly.Only place we go for out of warranty Mercedes work!Thanks again!

Had my car towed to O Brien and was told that I need a new battery for my 08 s550, had the battery replace and some bubs. and 400 dollars later so drove my car home and parked it for about a week, and when I went to start my car to attend an event in okc only to find out my battery is dead hmm makes me wonder did I just get a 400 dollar jump. But i will never go back to O Brien

This company is the best I ve found for my Jaguar. Recently had what appeared to be a catastrophic multi-system electrical failure. The technician that jumped on it had it figured out in the first day and got the car back to me first thing on the second day. Saved me thousands in diagnostics and repair fees. Another words, what I believe was going to cost thousands to diagnose and repair, cost a fraction. They could have been a like other business and dragged there feet and uncharged repairs, but they DID NOT! They consistently updated me on progress and findings via text. Lindsey and, Technician Robert Robertson, were Amazing! They are knowledgeable, professionals, and most proficient, as I ve explained. I ve NEVER worked with a better company! Truly Amazing.Additionally, the owner is a great guy. The team here have been SO helpful with my Range Rover for a few years now. Always proactive, helpful and just genuinely good people. It is also very hard to find quality auto care for these vehicles, so I was happy they were referenced to me. Very poor professionalism completely inadamant and poor mechanical work these people got mad because I asked him if my car would be finished by the end of day told me it would if I dropped it off at 8:00 a.m. and this is the second time I'm taking it back to fix the same problem at the sum of some $4500 completely ridiculous

Really good on communication. Gave me an estimate on what was wrong and what needed to be repaired. They were not pushy. Just let me know what was wrong and let him know if we wanted to go with the repairs. Nice people to work with. Highly recommend. Friendly and helpful. They didn't try and intimidate me into repairs that could wait. Estimated cost was exactly what was paid down to penny.They also fixed an issue for no charge just did it to make sure we were safe.Shop very clean and organized, shows me attention to detail and pride in their work.

This was my first visit with their business. So far the repairs are complimentary! I used 3 other recourses for my repairs to no avail. They took care of my cooling problem in a very reasonable time frame. Thank you so very much. Friendly, understanding and original concern. 4 stars simply because we are not perfect . 4 stars 2 thumbs up.

Got my old girl L3 up and running like new for 1/10th of what LR Tulsa quoted. I ve never experienced such awesome communication (photos too!) and honesty from an auto shop. I know this team loves my LR as much as I do and takes pride in their work. Delving into the mechanical intricacies of a Land Rover is not for the faint of heart. These people have the answers and bravely went above and beyond to face the electrical challenges I was having with my LR3. I appreciate the extra time they spent at no charge in diagnostic review to find the issue. O Brien will have my business for as long as I am in this geographic location.

Called them up about taking a look at my Mercedes that was making a loud whining noise. They were able to get me in the same day. Wasn't able to set up a ride home and they said no worries and the owner drive me home. My car was repaired and ready the next day. They had to replace the alternator along with the belt and bearings. Lindsey in the front office is awesome. Great experience for an expense no one wants but can't avoid. Would highly recommend them!!

Been going to these guys for years. Always do great job. Brought home on last shop visit to a waterfall of coolant coming from the right and left side under the hood. Two hoses were positioned wrong, and the reservoir tank port was broke then what looked like glue for a fix which did not work it was leaking when I got it home too. Replaced that. The first hose was sawed through by the serpentine belt. I silicone taped it up and it seems to be working fine. The second hose was sawed through by one of the serpentine wheels. (It took a few months, but happened within the last two weeks.) at no time did they offer to replace the belt or look over their work to make sure everything was right. When I informed them the first time which was right after I drove it home from the shop and pulled into the driveway. They said well we test drove it and it was fine. I had just paid them $4500 and they were coming at me defensive as if I was trying to I don t get over on them. Then when I told them I silicone taped up the hose, at no time did they offer to replace the hose, instead they said glad you were able to fix it. So I took that as they are not owning or taking financial responsibility for it which is what this boils down too. Be careful with taking your vehicle to them they are experts but they are money Hungary and if the opportunity arises I believe they will take advantage. They used to not be that way but ever since James left it has not been the same. It s a sad day because my favorite shop is no longer trustworthy too me.Service: Auto maintenance

I am from the Midwest and was traveling with my family when the oil pressure light come on in my 2004 Land Rover Discovery 2. A quick google search later I was taking the truck to O'Brien Auto Performance. James and company were great. James communicated quickly and efficiently. Ryan, the guy who worked on my truck, walked me through what needed to be done to my SUV. I had to travel back to Saint Louis for work and left the Discovery in their care. When my wife and daughter went to pick the Discovery up James, Ryan and David, the owner, were informative, polite and took great care of them. This has not always been their experience at other shops. All in all, this is a great place and my only complaint is that I have nothing like them in Saint Louis. My daughter is still in Tulsa with her Land Rover Discovery 2 and she will be using O'Brien Auto Performance when needed.

David & James are straight shooters and did a fantastic job on my 2008 BMW 335 xi. i had an engine malfunction error. they diagnosed it and called me with pricing and the repairs needed. they also pointed out another issue that needed resolved. they were very fair priced on all the work they did and did excellent work. i am very happy. i will be a customer from now on.
