y husband and I went into Nelson Mazda on Saturday 03/16 to look at a Nissan armada. We had Barbara King assisting us. Upon arrival we thankfully didn t get hounded. We were able to walk around and look. We test drove and the process was easy and simple. We walked out with our new car, our finance rate was lower going through them vs who we originally had, and in total we are absolutely happy with our family vehicle!! Barbara was pleasant to work with!

I had the best experience at this dealership, but specifically my experience with Colby. He was so helpful from the very beginning, and explained to me all my options as a first time buyer. I never felt like I was being rushed or taken advantage and I went home with a great pre-owned car ! I live out of town and had to travel to Tulsa to purchase my car, but Colby made this experience so easy and even went as far as picking me up from the airport. Everything was done over the phone and when I flew in to pick up my car I was in and out of the dealership within an hour. Thank you again Nelson Mazda !

I just bought my first Mazda. Nelson Mazda is an amazing establishment. Everyone there is exceptional. From the moment we walked through the door it became about us and our needs. We were blessed to have been paired with Andrew and he is incredible. He took the time to get to know me, my taste, what I was wanting and needing. He was extremely friendly and went above and beyond on his care.As long as he is in the car business, he is the only person I will purchase a vehicle from.

I thought that purchasing a vehicle just couldn t be a pleasant experience anymore. I was wrong.Everyone at Nelson Mazda was nothing short of professional and courteous. From the owner to the greeter everyone was kind and courteous.Definitely not a normal buying experience. Our salesman Lucas was the best. He took care of everything. No bouncing from office to office. He had checked in on us several times. All of that without even mentioning we got a great deal!

After a year of searching for the perfect vehicle at the right price, I found one online for sell at Nelson Mazda. I worked with Juvon in sales and Stephanie in finance. They were very professional, straightforward and completed my car deal with ease at a great rate and an awesome low price! They made buying a vehicle super easy and I highly recommend Nelson Mazda!

As someone who doesn't like dealing with the finance office staff in a dealership, this location doesn't push any of the b.s. on you and you just work with one person the entire buying process. I purchased my car through Joey at this location. He made the buying process easy and was very helpful!

I ve been a customer of Nelson Mazda for a very long time. I am on my 5th Mazda! I ve been looking at the CX-90 for quite a while now and I inquired about the 2024 Artisan Red Premium Plus through the website. I instantly got a response and an email from Lucas. From beginning to end, Lucas was very knowledgeable about several cars that I test drove. He answered all my questions. I drove a few different cars and he NEVER pressured me to buy any of them. I felt like he wanted me to be happy with the car of MY choice. After several different test drives, Lucas didn t even flinch when I asked to drive the CX-90, again. Long story short, I bought the CX-90 and I feel like I had the best salesman at the dealership. He was so nice and personable. If you like Mazda, ask for Lucas. You won t be sorry you did!

We went into the dealership with an idea of what we wanted but struggled finding the exact suv that fit what we had in mind. Noah H. Smith was not only fully knowledgeable and informative but spent several trips on the lot to make sure we saw everything that was available that we might be interested In. He himself drove a Mazda which makes his recommendation have weight. Highly recommend Noah to consult with you about any considerations you have for new/used or upgrading your vehicle! It will be worth your time to feel confident you have made the right choice! Couldn t be more happy with our outcome!

Very polite and straightforward dealing with Lucas Joyner who was very quick to respond to my questions via email and text. No vehicle extras added, the advertised price is what I paid, very refreshing during these times of expensive dealer add-ons. Did everything to make the experience as seamless as possible.

If you are needing your car serviced here and you're a young adult I would highly recommend against it.I just bought a used 2013 Mazda Cx9 and I found out the car might be having transmission/ transfer case issues after a lot of research. This can be very expensive to fix and very bad to continue driving a car with these issues. I don't have another reliable vehicle so with this in mind I wanted to make sure I got my car diagnosed and fixed as soon as possible.I explained this over the phone when l was scheduling my appointment for last Friday at 8:45am. I also mentioned I had work and needed to pick up the car at 2/3pm and the service department assured me a diagnosis wouldn't take long and they would contact me on what they found + I'll be able to pick up my car at 1/ 2pm at the latest.I dropped off my car and was able to receive a ride to school from Rebecca who was very kind and I had no problems with.I was 100% reliant on the dealership to give me a ride or rides from my friends so I was expecting a call back/ text back by the time I had gotten out of school at 2pm which I had never received. I called the dealership I believe two to three times trying to get ahold of the service department and no one was available.I got ahold of sales and she explained that service was only "giving call backs" at that time which wasn't even the case for my car. The sales lady was very nice and asked the service department to give me a call back. When the service department gave me a call back I was informed that my vehicle that was there for a scheduled appointment at 8:45am was not looked at and not diagnosed. From 9am when I handed over the keys to 2pm they managed to drive it to their parking lot and put a paper tag on it. I asked why my vehicle wasn't able to be looked at and she said that their person who specializes in transmissions was working on an engine all day. My frustration was that if she knew, why wasn't this communicated? If the mechanic who specialized in transmissions was working on an engine all day, why was I scheduled for Friday?I was stuck without a car, possibly without a ride to work and had no idea why I couldn't even reach the service department for a half hour.I managed to get a ride from a friend to go pick up my car. I was already going to be late for work and when I asked the brunette to give me my keys she said in a minute and then proceeded to start talking with her blonde friend who walked in. I asked the blonde if I could get my car back and she handed me the keys and then took them back and said she needed to find someone to drive it out of the parking lot. I was already mad so I tried to kindly say that I was running late to work and I would like to drive it out myself so I don't have to wait 20 minutes for someone to drive it out.She rudely handed the keys back to me and said "OK go find it yourself" and I had to ask her where it was parked. From girl to girl, what nasty behavior especially after knowing my car wasn't even looked at all day and I was running late somewhere.I despise having to rely on businesses and this Mazda dealership is a prime example why.I received a call from a random number on the way to work which was the service manager Valerie from Mazda. I had a heartfelt conversation with her and she said she would leave me a voice-mail about what she could do.After listening to the voice-mail I was offered a free diagnosis and the best day for them would be Tuesday. No promise it would get looked at on Tuesday just that the best day for them would be Tuesday. So now I am expected to drive my car everywhere I need to go while the issue gets worse and they aren't even willing to make a spot open on Monday. As a broke college kid who just spent all savings on a down-payment for a car and is busy working 40 hours a week on top of school the free diagnosis isn't worth it.I will be taking my car to a different mechanic who promised my car would be looked at the day I brought it in and promised communication.

I had very high hopes for this dealership as we had previously owned a Mazda and loved it. I found a very specific vehicle on their website that checked all of my boxes, called during my lunch hour to check on the vehicle s availability (gave the specific stock number and was told it was still there and for sale), and make an appointment to drive that specific vehicle less than 4 hours later with check in hand.Upon arrival, they sat us down for 20+ minutes wanting to ask questions when all I wanted to do was drive the vehicle. After a longer period of time, they finally notified us that the vehicle had sold earlier. I understand that these things are first come first serve, but a phone call would have been highly appreciated since I made an appointment referencing the stock number. They then told us that they could get us in an almost identical vehicle for less than a thousand dollars difference and brought that one out for a test drive. The car was wonderful, but the price difference was several thousand dollars more than promised when the bait and switch occurred. I left disappointed after 1.5 hours and much sitting around and waiting for the salesman to talk with the manager numerous times (which they advertise you work with one person and one person only).I do think their cars are a good product, but we were so frustrated and bothered by the process at the dealership from start to finish, we decided to take our business elsewhere and had a much better experience.

When I read the reviews here, I felt like my husband wasn't treated like everyone else. I voiced that concern without meeting them and they replied to that by making him feel like they went above and beyond for him. I'm very happy with the encounter we had while he was trading his truck for the car HE wanted. They were very polite and answered any questions we had. Thank you Jonathon and Tom. I know we are picky but a vehicle is very important to actually like. They were able to get us EXACTLY what he wanted. I hope the truck gets a good owner. That truck is a gem. It was like part of our family. It will serve someone VERY well.

UPDATED:Here is an updated review. Upon a very stressful half day (Friday), I received a text the next morning from Nelson Mazda's co-owner after reading my displeased review I had written. Multiple salesman roping my financial advisor and I around for pretty much half of the day, we got nowhere but I did get a call from Nelson Mazda's co-owner and we had a bit of a discussion about what had happened the day before. He had expressed to me that they surely do not run their business that way and whether I choose to believe him or not will be determined through action and not words. We had a lovely conversation and as businessmen, we were able to come to terms and settle this swiftly. I had told him that there were only two ways for me to update my initial review about them and that would be for me to get back some sort of compensation. That compensation being a full refund amount that I had originally paid for my Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI). He had agreed to make this refund happen whether or not I would still like to purchase a car. That being said, I do want the car and after a long process of negotiating what can be done, I am currently in process of making arrangements to close this deal by tonight. Any reviews I have said before has been corrected in the most professional way handled by Istvan which I believe is his sales team lead. Lastly, to anyone who reads my reviews and is a bit taken back by my very aggressive review, keep in mind that this is my own personal experience. This may not be yours and I truly hope whoever comes to this dealer has a pleasurable time buying a car from them. As you know, they have more than made up for the headache and time that was wasted on the first day trying to get a deal done and I am pleased to say this now and in confidence that if the moment comes that I so happen to come across another vehicle I want on their lot, I would not hesitate to reach out to Nelson Mazda Tulsa.OLD REVIEW:Wow, what a great way to do business. As someone whose buying a car from a state far far away, not only was I brushed to the side because there were other clients but I had to follow up on the situation on purchasing the car only to be told it was sold. I left messages and called during the day as well. I feel bad for whoever it was because apparently they didn t disclose a leak that was there and the manager knew about it. Selling a car with a possible fault with the engine without disclosing it to a potential customer. I d advise anyone who purchases a car from here to ignore these so called good reviews and check their Better Business Bureau because 3 other people had the same issue only after purchasing the car.

They were super busy and we did have to wait a bit. However, they treated us very well while waiting. When we got a salesperson, he was fantastic and made the process so easy. We made the deal I was looking for and I am loving my brand new CX-50. Highly recommended and a shoutout to Jonathan Waters.

I bought a new Mazda from John Kite at Nelson Mazda in Tulsa and I was impressed on how he was interested in my needs and wants, without regard if they were the least priced option or not. He understood my needs, showed me the right cars and I bought it on the spot. Very happy with my choice!!! I recommend Nelson Mazda Tulsa and John Kite, no doubt they are the best!

I cannot say enough positive about Andrew Davis. He made the process of car buying extremely pleasant. My daughter got the vehicle she wanted and is thrilled. The only drawback, I m going to miss Andrew. He felt like family by the end of our purchase.

I had been watching Nelson Mazda website for a couple months and had my eye on a 23 Miata RF. I prayed, Lord please let me have a good salesman. LUCAS JOYNER went above and beyond in every step of the way! I m a very attention to detail person and unless I m 100% certain, I won t budge. He sent me several videos of the car, we had several conversations, even on his day off. He made great recommendations as to what accessories would work well to maintain the beauty and upkeep for my new lil Roadster! My husband didn t want to spend hours driving to Tulsa, hours being there and then hours driving home since we are not from Tulsa. LUCAS said, no problem we can do the paperwork online and ship the car to you! The online paperwork was easy! The car will be shipped to me Valentines week! As soon as it arrives, I ll do another review! A lot of times people leave so-so reviews, which has a huge negative impact on a business.I HIGHLY encourage anyone looking for a Mazda to go to Nelson Mazda in Tulsa and ask for LUCAS JOYNER.I thought his last name was Journey as in, one of the best Rock Bands of the 80 s to be continued .

**UPDATE #2**It s been nearly 3 weeks since we spoke with Itsvan. I text him a pic of my receipt for the service and no response. Text back and the number was no longer in service. Have called the dealership 3 times now and have yet to be able to speak to Itsvan or another team lead. Was promised a call back and nothing. Last time I called and was told a radio remote was onsite and that would be taking all their time. At least this time the gentleman gave me his email address and let me send him the receipt again. I ve spent too much time on this. Not buying here again.**UPDATE**The sales manager, Itsvan, called us and apologized. He explained that Nelson has a 60 day limited warranty policy after purchase to help repair issues after purchase. He apologized for the misinformation about there being no such warranty and for the pressure we received at the time of sale to purchase the extended warranty. They are going to reimburse us for the cost of the repair and are going to take the car into their service department to ensure no other issues are present.***********We recently went into Nelson Mazda to purchase a used sedan. The purchasing process was pretty nice even though we spent a large part of the day in the dealership; despite us accepting the pricing and financing as it was offered. The no-commission environment was pretty obvious up until the point they positioned the extended warranty. The salesman pushed the warranty about 10 different times using scare tactics of an engine failure on the car to persuade us to purchase the warranty. He kept saying I don t make any extra money on this I said, Someone is or you wouldn t be pushing this so hard until I said We aren t getting the warranty. Stop or we will be leaving He dropped it then.We got the car home and the next day my fiance was running errands when the car wouldn t start. We were able to get the car to our mechanic and it was a $350 fix on an intermittent issue with the car sometimes starting with no problems and other times not. We didn t mind paying for the fix; however, we felt the people at Nelson Mazda knew there was an issue with the car and were pushing the warranty to cover the issue rather than taking the time to correct it prior to selling the car. We won t be back and I ll only be buying used cars from places like Carvana and CarMax from now on where they recondition the vehicles, and you get extended test drives and limited warranties included with your purchase. As a side note, I had my eye on purchasing a CX-5 or CX-30 from Nelson before this. After the issue with this sedan, I instead bought a $25k used Subaru from Carvana. They offer 7-day test drives and limited 100 day warranties for issues like this. Also, I don t have to sit in the dealership all dang day to process the paperwork. I picked up my car from the Carvana Tulsa location and dropped off my trade (which I got top dollar for) all within 45 minutes. Save your time. Save your sanity. Buy a used car elsewhere.

I understand the philosophy here. They have a sales process and don't negotiate. I get it. The problem with the process, it doesn't focus on the customer. It focuses on the process. I went in today with limited time and an agenda. The sales rep wanted to put me HIS process. If I'm going to spend money on a product, I care about MY process. It took a long time but I finally got to drive the car. I liked it. It's a good car.****Update: We did get a call from the Asst Sales Manager who apologized for this experience. He recognized the need to communicate flexibility within their sales process. I appreciated this and for that reason have upgraded to three stars. Since no decision has been made on the car, we will try to have an open mind since they were able to express humility and ownership.

I did a lot of research to find a car dealership that would be honest and fair. I found a nice, first car for my daughter, drove it less than 25 miles and the check engine light came on. The heater core needed to be replaced. It was outside the 3 days, but only because I didn't drive it until I had insurance on it. They technically didn't have to, but they took care of me. As a single mom, raising two teenagers on my own with no help...that...means...a lot. Thank you for being honest and fair.

I brought a 2016 Honda Crv 01-22-24 Nelson had the best price in Tulsa for a low mileage CRV. John Kite was my sale advisor was he was awesome. If you need a car go see John Kite he speaks from The heart and tells the truth. He truly looks out for your best interest. I've been to a lot of dealerships and John made everything so easy and smooth when I was so overwhelmed and stressed. He took his time with all the questions I had with pure patience and kindness. This is a person you can trust. He's a Man of God who treat people with love and respect. Go see him if you need a car

I am a loyal Mazda owner and my latest experience just cemented that loyalty. I am a 100percent disabled veteran. The heater core went out on my car and Mazda covered all but $517 saving me big bucks. Thanks Mazda and Nelson Mazda of Tulsa.
