Okay I m so happy I found them it s a shame that no one else is doing diesel heads anymore that I know of besides midwestern it makes the turn around time hard and makes it easier for the guys in suits to kill the diesel industry more and more. I m happy with their work I ll have pictures to add to my review of the after shot tomorrow. I got some before pics to compare. They rebuilt my big cam Cummins 855 heads for me In about 3 weeks i blv maybe 4 but either way I m happy with just finding good ppl to do the work. Ask for Warren if you go here. He s very fast and knowledgeable.

Great folks, Tolerance is always just how I specified, Balance work seems pretty decent as well. Great turn around time as well. I honestly never used them in the past just because people told me that the work sucked. Here is how I view this, It s easier to blame the poor fella at the machine shop than it is to admit that possibly you don t know as much as you think you might know. It s hard to blame anyone for your lack of knowledge on how to use a bore gauge and or dial calipers. If you just bolt your engine together and think you are an engine builder than think again...

I took a set of custom heads off of my 640hp high performance engine to them to have cleaned and checked. First I have to say that the customer service I received at the front counter was second to none, courteous, polite and sociable, and most importantly knowledgeable. The gentleman at the counter offered options and knowledge but wasn't pushy and didn't try to over sell me. The quality of work, albeit on a minor job, was spot on. I will be bringing my block here in the spring for a cleaning, compression and magnaflux testing. Thank you for a great experience.

I ve taken many cylinder heads to these guys and they have always done good work and answered any questions I had. Just took an engine to be rebuilt. I have 100% confidence it will be a great motor for years to come.

Charly Is the man rebuilds all my ls stuff highly recommended these fellas. Good quality work good work ethic and customer friendly very welcoming and not rude or pushy. Self explained in every aspect of your build I recommended these cats

I paid well over $5000 for engine rebuild and they broke 3 bolts on oil pan and didn t say anything both valves covers were leaking within 3 months and rear main seal and they supposedly replaced rear main seal after a year still within warranty but a year after that seal leaking again DONT DO BUSINESS HERE I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!! One more thing they never have vehicle technicians so it will take for ever for new engines to be installed

I spent over $8000 with them replacing my engine. I ve been back in twice to have the rear main seal replaced and I now need a third one. I gave them every opportunity to try and fix this but they got me so good on this I think I m just going to have it fixed myself. It seems like John says what he needs to and he definitely make sure that warranty is out of date. I really wish I would ve checked the reviews prior to go in there. If there was a way to sue them and get my money back I definitely would. Not a place I would ever recommend

I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. They did a good job milling an aluminum head for me. Highly recommend.

Some of the best work I've seen. I cannot recommend these guys enough, they did a fantastic job. Absolutely went above and beyond to take care of me. Would highly recommend for any and all engine work. Prices are also fair, and the work is done in a timely manner. Give them a call and they'd be happy to do what they can to help.

Very pleasant company to deal with. Quality craftmanship done in a timely manner. The long block removal/install had no surprises and is now running like a new one (as it should). Thank You John and team. I highly recommended this place.UPDATE: 16 Nov 22 - The long block replacement engine seized up 3yrs. 2 months later at 42,000 miles. Two months past warranty. Rear timing chain guide broke and got wedged between lower sprocket and chain. Engine seized up while at idle.Spoke with someone there today on the phone and was told "parts wear out".

Got my 22re engine back, had a tick add soon as we put it in and started it. Sent it back with our warranty, very rude about us calling ahead to take it back. Once they were finished with it, they claimed for it to have an exhaust leak which it did not have before hand, and we're also very rude about that too. I can't say I'm ever returning due to the careless attitude and work ethic.

I spoke to them before dropping off a crank shaft that spun a bearing. They assured me they could fix it. They sat on it for two weeks, then told me it would be another two weeks to fix it. I had to call several times just to get an answer whether they could fix it after it was taking longer than expected. Warren is rude and hung the phone up on me for asking questions about what the problem was. I gave them all the factory specs and went out of my way to make their job easier. I drove two hours one way twice and ended up taking it to another machine shop who mic d, checked for balance right in front of me, and went to work on it right away. This particular machine shop had all the specs on their system and didn t need anything else from me. They didn t waste my time like Midwestern did. The crank will be done in a few days. What a waste of time and money!

Midwestern is a top notch facility. Incredibly talented machinists, Warren Jaggers is always knowledgeable and helpful, and Jason, the owner is as honest as they come. Highly recommend this place. They've never let me down.

They're so friendly and trustworthy, I thought I was going to have to pay for a new engine in my Chevy equinox but they built me an almost new one for a fraction of the cost, they're incredibly dependable and had mine done 3 days before they said they would and it runs great. The best mechanics I've ever used.

Sent a 4 cyl. head to shop to be checked and milled and ordered an engine kit to reassemble engine from their suppliers. Within 3 weeks the new timing chain broke. Called for warranty and took head and broke chain to them. They had parts for three weeks and NO warranty. They charged 275.00 to re surface head and grind valves and new chain plus freight I might add. Their customer service and warranty is Ridiculous and un-acceptable. We used to have them do all our machine work, but never again. It only took 2 days when we first had them do the work and 3 weeks exact to get it back while having to pay twice. Its amazing that they stay in business treating local shops like this. Oh well, This is my 2 cents worth. I would most definitely NOT recommend them for any machine work or cheap parts that wont be warrantied. You've been warned!!!

Sent a customer of mine there to have the head checked and Rebuilt. Think they charged him almost $700 to have a valve job done when I called up there I explained that there was a ticking and a knock in the motor and that something was bent and it needed to be repaired and they said they could fix it so my customer paid the money picked it up I installed it and it sounds exactly the same as it did when I sent it there so when I call and talk to them they tell me that they're just a machine shop I don't get it I don't get why my customers money in my time was just wasted. Do not use this company do not. my business name is Delightful Solutions LLC, a mobile mechanic service. This company is misleading and not a engine rebuild shop according to whomever I spoke to this morning. Altogether over 1200 bucks wasted. Thanks for nothing.

Midwestern did a fantastic job replacing the engine in my 2003 Windstar. The new engine looked completely different than the original engine, but it ran like a thoroughbred. The work was done on time, on estimate, with no goofs, and the staff couldn't have been more professional.

Very bad!! Stay clear of this one if you want your vehicle to last!! I had these guys put a engine in a truck of mine and wow what a mistake since it has now been back many times and the engine completely taken back out 3 times (supposedly) by these guys. Each time I had to take it back (the last time was due to them putting junk parts from the old engine in the new one) they would keep my truck in the shop longer and longer as if to punish me for having to take it back even though it was still under their warranty.So after close to a year of going back and forth the engine still has an oil leak knocks and is in overall poor condition.I also find it interesting and troubling (considering all the same staff members are there) that since then they must have a new web name because there used to be allot more reviews on them.To sum it up don't make the same mistake I did you would literally be better off doing it yourself out under a tree; at least then if you mess it up and take a year to do it you will still be better off and many thousands of dollars richer.

I did not have a good experience with this company took my ford 150 in because it wasnt running well they said i need to get the moter rebuilt so we did i got back about a week later only to find the same problem. Took it back they kept it for three weeks this time and said it was the timing and they got it fixed. Started driving the truck again and same problem again took it back this time they said the muffler or the Cadillac converter was plug so i spent 500 at muffler shop only to Have the same problem still. Took it back. They kept it for another week before he said it was a spark plug. Not happy i would never take a car or truck here again. If i could leave a negative star i would. A waste of time and money.

Warren was extremely helpful!! Good and honest shop. I highly recommend and although I hope I don't need the service again; they would be the only place I'd call!

These folks rebuilt the engine in my 2006 Chevy HHR and it is running sweet. I'm getting around 28 mpg and it is running like a new engine should. I highly recommend these folks if you are having engine problems.

Had work done there, when one of the parts failed that I had purchased from them they claimed to have "lost" my paperwork and wouldn't warranty anything. Yay $3k boat anchor.

These people are very rude and have no customer service skills. Find someone else to work on your engine. Stay away from these guys. Warren is a complete and total jerk
