We came in to get a regular oil change and fluids topped off. We asked them to check breaks as well.They ended up coming back and telling us that we needed to replace our alternator and battery. Trying to instill fear in me as a woman because my husband wasn t there.The car manufacturer had already let us know that we shouldn t be worried about a notification that had popped up on our screento stop the car and leave the engine running because this can happen when cooler weather sets in.. Plus, we had been driving with this notification for over a month already so we ruled out that it was the alternator and it could potentially be the battery. We told them we didn t want the alternator replaced we just wanted the battery replaced certain that that would fix the issue because of prior knowledge from THE manufacturer. They then told us that they would not put the battery in for us because the technician did not want his name on the work when the alternator blows in a week or a couple of days or even when we left the lot. Terrible customer service. That was not his decision to make the front desk guy kept telling us that we were just wasting our money on a new battery.We went elsewhere had the battery put in and sure enough as we thought, the notification was no longer there! Therefore, it was not the alternator. We will NEVER come back to any Firestone because of the fear tactics and shaming used to get us to bend to what they wanted to sell us. And they didn t even top off our washer fluid as was promised they would top off all fluids.

AVOID! Brought my Mercedes in for a tire plug with a visible screw in middle of tred with tires measuring good depth. Shop was completely empty and no cars in the bays. Was taking quite a while to determine if the screw had actually even penetrated was told they would have to remove to determine since it was at a weird angle/depth. Eventually a different employee came out and told me my tires were no good, couldn t be patched and it would be 2K for new tires! Ridiculous. Left immediately. They patched another tire on the same car just months ago with no issue- for FOURTY DOLLARS mind you which I now know is a scam too. GO to Robertson on 93rd and Memorial. They plugged it for free and assured me I was correct that I had some more time on my tires! I got a BAD feeling from this place as a woman in a luxury vehicle . You should avoid!

Terrible place, I ve been here several times. I came in for an alinement and a wheel balance. I ve purchased wheels from here so I have life time wheel balance is what I was told, and I also purchased lifetime alinements. They didn t do either of these services. They only rotated my tires which I didn t ask for and had me wait an hour and a half. And then whenever I left my exhaust was broken in the middle. I ve had my vehicle on and off a my mechanics lift several times the last 2 days and nothing on my exhaust was broken until I got my car back from here. This was terrible. Definitely don t use Firestone.

This Firestone at 91st and South Yale is excellent. The customer service is great. I purchase tires for all of my vehicles and they always help get the exact selection for me. In particular, Seth is a great service manager and I highly recommend him and this store.

Didn t have time to change the oil on my wife s 2021 ford explorer, she ran here as it s close to her work. Well as I went to change it I find out it has a few broken skid plate bolts in the frame, missing another, and missing clips for the dust guard. Pretty pathetic. It s not that difficult of a job but it s exactly why I do it myself.Don t take your car here, they re careless. Also their supervisor has the attitude of a high school kid when I called about this issue.

Definitely would not recommend coming here if you re a woman unless you want the stereotypical car service treatment that women so often get.Came in to get my battery checked after another car maintenance business encouraged me to get it checked after telling them about some issues I had been having. Came here and was met with very unfriendly and demeaning attitudes from the employees as if me wanting the battery checked was stupid and aninconvenience to them. Literally EVERYONE I came across was rude and dismissive, from the service workers to the men at the front desk (one younger, one older). Also witnessed other employees acting the same way towards other customers. Asked for my keys back and left wasn t giving them a dime.Way to do business! Won t be back

I did oil and filter change from 91st Firestone. After 2 months, Oil of my car started to leak. I had to tow my car to a nearby dealer. After diagnosing my car, they informed me that during filter change of my last one, filter was not tighten enough.Additionally, they should improve their attitude with customer. I will not suggest someone to go to this firestone.

I scheduled an appointment. I make sure to get there bright and early. I get there and they don t have a technician in today. Man, starting off on a great foot. Good thing I didn t absolutely need these repairs done today, but I did clear my schedule for today to allow for me to be without a car. Get it together Firestone!

I had two flat tires in two days and they took care of it for me. Thankfully I bought my tires here so they fixed the flats for free. Customer service is about average, different guys told me different tire pressures for my car s tires. Besides that I had a good experience.

Good service and nice staff. They know what they re doing. Kim was so helpful and he walked me through everything I needed to know which got me knowing what I should and shouldn t do for my vehicle. I d definitely come back!

I would give 0 stars if I could. These people are nothing but scammers, and after reading some of the other reviews it seems like they have not changed. I don t know if it s this firestone in particular or all firestones, but definitely do not come to this one!!Take your vehicle elsewhere!

They were great!! Booked my appt online for 7am the following day for an oil change, tire rotation, and a full service check for anything else. Dropped off and they call told me I needed 2 new tires which they weren't wrong! So they went and added that easy and it was all fantastically priced!! Had my car done around noon which is great theses days everyone is short staff even I feel that! So great job guys! I will definitely be back!!

Super busy so my car ended up being there longer than it should ve been. Make sure you tell them you need your car asap. My appointment was at 10 AM drove by several times and they didn t start it until after one. He called me at 1:11 PM and said my jeep is almost ready. I think it was around 3:30 PM before I could pick up my car

Made an appointment online for 3 in the afternoon. They waited until we got there at three to tell us they were too busy to honor the appointment. Would ve been nice if they d called that morning or when they realized they d overbooked themselves but no, so now we have no time to go somewhere else today for an alignment. Seems like we may have dodged a bullet now, reading the reviews on here. Moral of the story is don t bother even taking the extra step to make an appointment because they ll just turn you away anyways.

Amazing customer service! We have been doing business with these guys for several years now and they continue to impress us. We've worked a lot with Ethan and Jarvis; super knowledgeable, professional and genuinely concerned about doing things right. They go the extra mile to see that we are completely satisfied. They always take the time to explain things and never try to sell you goods and services that aren't necessary. A great team of hard working professional guys. Highly recommend for "Complete" auto care, not just tires.

So thankful these guys were open on a weekend. I broke down nearby, 3 hours from home. Hobbled my car into their lot and they were working on it within 15 minutes. Back on the road home by the afternoon. Real nice guys too. I made the right choice that day.

I showed up at 4:40 pm with a tire that seemed to have a slow leak. I had purchased my tires at this store and wanted them to take a look. I had a business trip to Ft Worth the next morning. They told me they couldn't help because they were closing in 20 minutes and had another car they needed to finish up. I explained I couldn't leave my car or make an appointment for the next day because I had to leave early the next morning. The guy looked at me sheepishly, shrugged his shoulders and said sorry, I can't help you. I left and drove 1.6 miles down the street to Robertson's Tire, who pulled the tire and replaced it due to a screw that penetrated the inside edge that was causing the leak. Firestone's customer no service has just lost them a customer.

Needed an immediate tire change but being extremely high risk during COVID we had no idea where we could safely do so. We looked all over town and found the most exceptional safety precautions were at Firestone. Only ones we could find taking it serious. Can not express how incredibly grateful we are.My husband worked with Seth at the 91st and Yale location. In a time when essential workers are being treated unnecessarily horrible for such precautions, Seth still had an amazing attitude and was incredibly kind and helpful.We had never used Firestone before but will most definitely be returning customers for all our tire needs from now on.Thank you guys so much for being so great in such a scary time for us. I don t know what we would have done without you. We appreciate you so much!!

We are a four vehicle family with teens driving now. We have spent thousands here for oil changes, tires, repairs, brakes, etc. I had a nail in my tire and they could not & would not work in a 20 minute appointment. I took my business elsewhere and will not return. I was a loyal customer, but in an emergency they would not help. Front guys were not helpful and were rude. I was told, "I am happy for you to take your car elsewhere."

Sent them a tire, knowing it only needed a small tread patch due to a tiny nail and slow leak. Tire had 5k miles on it. They refused to patch it saying it could only be replaced. After arguing I decided whatever I need to get home, replace the tire and make sure I get the old one so I could patch for a spare at home. After the job they had not only discarded my good tire but charged me for the disposal. I do not recommend this place they are professional scammers.

Won't go back to this Firestone unfortunately, I have appreciated most of the staff and only had an issue with Damen. He told me I needed to replace the caliper, brake hose, the rotor, and the brake pads even though I had actually just bought the rotor and brake pads and had them put on not even 24 hours prior. The guy who put them in (a friend, not a mechanic who will do the work in the future) didn't install the caliper correctly which caused the brake pad to lock up and it did overheat the rotor.Damen said it turned white bc it got so hot, not realizing that I knew it was white when when I bought it-the night before. The discoloration he was referring to when a rotor gets too overheated would be blue or purple. The caliper, also brand new, was only installed incorrectly meaning not exactly by the book, which is what my car requires (again-by a friend and not a mechanic), it does not need to be replaced. He said he was worried I would burn through the brand new brake pads (that had been installed 10 hours prior and only driven less than 20 miles) if I drove it off the lot, trying to instill fear in me so I would agree to the $1044 pricetag they quoted.I found a mechanic that will do the work of replacing the brake hose, (both left and right sides) which is the actual cause of the problem, and bleed the brakes for less than $150.. and not require or try to scare me into buying the overly marked up prices of the parts Firestone sells.Also, when I buy my own parts from O'Reilly's, they carry the warranty-which is what Firestone tries to use as a selling point and excuse for their prices being so unreasonable- I could replace those for no charge if absolutely necessary and the mechanic does the work for an actual fair price. Much better to find a trustworthy mechanic and the best quality parts for a more fair price.So in all, I fixed the issue with my car for a pricetag of $200 as opposed to $1044.Perhaps it's the lack of knowledge or their own fear of doing something wrong but this place just seems like it has the old mentality of fear-based sales tactics and lying and overly marking up parts....RUNNActually, it couldn't be lack of knowledge bc he sat there and argued with me about whether the rotor and brakes needed to be replaced, I told him that I know the brakes are fine to use bc I know they haven't been worn down that much in the 10 miles that I drove them. He said they had, he was trying to take advantage and make a quick sale, even tried to convince me to put it on credit. He did NOT have me or my car's best interest in mind at all. He wanted to make as much money as he could. That's why I'm writing this review, the others in that shop had not done that before. But I will not go back due to him, Damen.

The service was amazing. Mathew was super nice and helped me order my new tires hassle free. Also Seth and James took care of me and went above and beyond to get my car ready. Very friendly staff and would highly recommend.

While out of town, I noticed a noise I hadn t heard before. Called Firestone Complete Auto Care who recommended I stop by. They immediately dropped everything to look at my issue. This happened 25 minutes before closing. They quickly identified the issue as a problem with the tensioner which needs replaced. They ensure me it s safe to drive the car home in this condition. Thanks for your excellent service!!
