I just bought a 2001 Subaru Outback 5 speed from Jeff. What a pleasant experience it was. Drove the car and the was a few things I was concerned about, he said he would take a look andget back to me. He gave me a call and I went back out and everything he said he would take care of he did.Honest and not pushy in any way. If you're looking for a used car I highly recommend you give Jeff's inventory a look.Chris Prichard.

I got to say Competition Auto sales is the Best Place To get a Great used car you will not be disappointed.This owner of this business truly cares about getting you the best deal and he is more than willing to go out of his way to fix any issues.So to the owner of competition Auto sales Thank you very much Jeff for my new wheels I'm 110% Happy with my purchase.If you also looking for a used car go to Jeff and if he doesn't have a car you're looking for. Bought a SUV from them recently. the check engine light came on when I got home because it had a minor issue.when I contacted the owner about it he made sure he took care of me got my car in there within a week and fixed the issue.Very stand up and honest shop. highly recommend!!Update..less then a year later ..8 months transmission went completely out

What a great buying experience. I met with Jeff a week before and decided to get this 2004 Chevy Avalanche. We agreed on a price and few things I would like. Within a few days the truck was ready for pick up. Jeff really goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable. You can tell he isn't selling you a car he's selling you and your family and friends cars. He has been in business for over twenty years and will continue for many more based on sales like mine. Thanks Jeff for making this easy.

Would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN. He seems haunted and is truly off. Bought a car with retail value of 2,500 dollars, paid 5,500 and the car breaks down in less than 2 weeks. Horrible customer service. Avoid this person at all costs.

Jeff is a trusted car dealer who operates with integrity, first and foremost. He has vast mechanical knowledge and will get you or your kiddo in a reliable, affordable vehicle. He goes above and beyond for his customers. Just purchased my 3rd vehicle from Jeff.

Got a used car I was above and beyond impressed . Was able to get a warranty on the car on top of that he did everything to help me in every way . Had a small promblem happen after buying it and Jeff and his mechanics took care of it free of charge . You can simply tell Jeff Cares about his customers . Will be back to buy my fianc� s car . Thank you JeffHe always answers to help when I have any prombelms

Jeff, the owner, is a great honest man. I bought a used Mazda speed 3 hatchback from him. Very fair pricing and negotiating. A couple days after buying it, the control arm started to fail. He hooked me up with the cost of parts and repairs. I highly recommend checking his lot out for any used car purchases.

At the very least, I learned what all I should have looked for when buying a used car. I also learned that the man running this business comes across as nice and I trusted him, that was a several thousands of dollars mistake. He claimed he had repaired the items we agreed to in the sales contract, when really, it was more like slapping duck tape on the issue. I seriously regret giving this person my business. I tried contacting him about the poor workmanship and was met with contempt and refusal to complete what was agreed upon. This was a life lesson and cost me so so so much money. I would never refer this business to anyone.

Buyer be aware! I ve been a routine customer with this business but the owner has changed. Something is wrong with this man. He had the chance to make it right and still let us leave with a car for my 16 year old with no break lights. It had been there a month to fix that issue; (that he let us drive away with on the day of purchase.) still not fixed. I waited to comment to see if he would make it right and take his word but his word is good for nothing.Don t fall for his car salesman bs. He cannot be trusted !

I bought my vehicle from Jeff 2 years ago, and my roommate bought one from him 5 months ago. What a fantastic business. His character and integrity is remarkable. When I brought my financing into my credit union she said that the deal I was getting was fantastic and that she would have lent me even more because I had equity in the car. I asked her if that was too good to be true, and she said no, that Jeff must be one of the oldies but goody salesmen that knows how to buy good cars and make a profit and not be greedy.Jeff believes in making you a customer for life, that your family will buy from him for generations.I have sent over a dozen people to buy from him. Highly recommend!!

I love this car lot, Jeff is a great guy! He was willing to work with me and help get me into the exact vehicle that I wanted. Not only did my girlfriend get a car from him but I did as well, and when I decided to go car shopping for something different I went right back to Jeff and got exactly what I wanted. Not only is he a good guy, he's a great salesman. There was no pressure any of the times I've gone to him and he even has an amazing mechanic. If you need your car fixed he'll get it done in a timely fashion, and for a good price. This is a no nonsense and no smoke and mirrors car lot, I would recommend this place to anyone in my friend's and family. I know that when it's time to get into a new set of wheels and to help my brother get into his first car that this is the place I'll be going to get them.

I thought I could trust them after purchasing a few vehicles from Jeff over the years. Then, we made a deal for him to do work on my VW in exchange for the last car I bought, a Subaru Outback, as payment only to get my car back after 6 weeks with a flat tire and a broken windshield. Jeff said he would do all the repairs on my list. But, the #1 item on my list, a safety item, wasn't done at all along with other things that needed done. So, basically I gave him a car worth about $2500 for about $500 worth of work. And, I had to turn around and spend over $1000 elsewhere to fix said safety item. He coughed up the axles but I didn't trust him to install them! Could not be more upset with this establishment!!!

I am generally distrustful of dealers and mechanics, and the most important thing to me is that they are fair and honest. I had a list of specific requirements I wanted in my next used car. But basically I wanted a decent car in my price range. When I called around, Jeff told me, "whether you go with us or someone else, this is what you need to look for in those models. There are ticking time bombs once they get to a certain mileage, and we fix them before we sell them to you." And I researched what he said. It was true, and may have saved me thousands of dollars. He didn't have what I needed at the time, but kept looking for me and called me when he had what I was looking for. Then I found out, friends and colleagues of mine have been going to him for years! They all spoke very highly of him: fair and honest, they have been repeat customers and referred others. I am very, very happy. Service is excellent. Sometimes you need to make an appointment ahead of time, but the work has been super fast. He has charged me 1/2 of what I paid the last time I had the same things done at other places. If it was an easy fix, like tightening something, sometimes he doesn't charge me at all. I highly recommend, especially if you are looking to buy a Subaru.

Jeff and Eddie took great care of my son's first car. I have known them both for over 25 years on a business and personal level. Accountability and communication are a plus. Hard working, honest and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Car shopping has never been a purely enjoyable experience for me and my wife; this day started out just as we expected...long waits, aggravation and disappointment. After looking at multiple cars at multiple locations with each visit making the next visit more frustrating, we were not optimistic when we arrived at Competition Auto Sales. However, we were greeted warmly, exchanged pleasantries and got right to it. Jeff was very accommodating and understanding. We didn't end up getting the car we originally went there for but left with one we liked even better! After a long day, aggravation/frustration and feeling burnt out, we were refreshed by the home-town feel, honesty and pleasantness of the whole experience. When we finally left we were happy and refreshed...it turned the entire day around for us! I'm so happy we found this little gem! Keep it up guys!

This place is the worse place to purchase a car. They sale them "as is" so you can sign off being stuck with the car and cant do anything about it. The car i purchased lasted 1 month. I tried everything, new engine with warranty, new alternator, transmission work. The car stopped in the middle of the freeway with oncoming traffic with my two babies in the car. It was still horrible. Then he refused to work on it and fix his problem because he threw a tantrum saying i was bashing him on social media. Yes, i definitely warned the world how terrible this shop was! Needless to say, I am excited that i ended up getting rid of it at a reasonable price and explained to the buyer what was wrong with it so i wouldn't be like Jeff and sale it knowing it was a disaster without them knowing. He also never sent my titles i recently had to order them myself. It was just an all bad experience. Lesson learned after coming here! I also stopped lots of potential customers from coming which i am very glad about, to help someone else not go through what me and my family went through.

I bought a jeep from Jeff and he does absolutely amazing at making sure you have a safe and dependable car. He goes out of his way to make sure your very happy with your purchase. I'd reccomend him to all my friends and family

These people are wonderful. I told them what car I wanted and they found exactly what I was looking for. We bought 2 cars and my wife is ecstatic. She loves driving them and thinks I'm wonderful. I have been in there several times. I have never been pressured or been given any sales pitch. They are very knowledgeable about all kinds of cars. i can't say enough good things about them.

Worst place! Jeff Skaggs is the Most dishonest owner in town! Gave him my car to fix and it got STOLEN from his shop. On top of that he didn t even tell me, I showed up thinking my car would be ready and was told it is stolen. He said he would make everything right and lied about that too! I would do your research before shopping here! You will find he has been sued by previous customers and I am in the process of filing a lawsuit myself. You will also find his mugshot! He has caused me so much stress in my life since I didn t have a car to get to work or school!

WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER. I bought a car here & it ran fine for a day or so & the owner said if I have any problems don t bother taking it anywhere else we ll fix it for free but then all the problems started happening & I had to get it towed back to his shop 5-6 times & it still had problems. The owner willl tell you the same feel bad for me story that I ve heard him tell 4 different people on separate occasions. The mechanic was extremely rude & all they did was sit around & watching tv when my car was the only one in the shop that needed to be worked on. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I was referred to Jeff Skaggs at Competition Auto Sales last year in August 4th. That's when I officially dropped off my vehicle. I was told that he would fix my car in a timely manner. I have 9 1/2 months worth of recorded phone calls of him saying that it will be in the garage and would be done at the end of the week. He also said the reason for it not being done was that everything's was shut down because of the pandemic and that he couldn't find my transmission for my 2007 Nissan murano.I have seen him and another mechanic working on other vehicles but my vehicle went from the front of the lot to the very back behind all of the vehicles. I do believe he is being shady.This is a very dishonest man.I'm a disabled single mom raising a mentally challenged son. And all I want is my vehicle.I came today may 6th to pick it up and take it to Another mechanic and he's refusing to release my vehicle now. SHAME ON YOUJEFF SKAGGSPS......NOT WORTH THE 1 STAR

Very condescending when looking to buy 2 cheap vehicles, stating that most cars that don't run would bring $1,500 or more in a scrap yard. Absolutely terrible mannerisms where business etiquette is concerned!!!!

I bought a car from Jeff and 7 months later had to get two new rear axels because someone had done shotty work on the car. This cost $2,500.00. Beware of this car lot.

I can only sum up my experience in a few words. Jeff is a wonderful, honest, straightforward, no nonsense guy. Very hard to find people like him these days. You will not be disappointed.
