I very highly recommend APV!!! I have a 1990 Mazda Miata (yep. First year model!). Because my wife and I love the car, we decided to get it completely refurbished. We went to a couple of different places that did some basic work but most stated that they didn t have expertise or could not find parts. Finally, one of the shops recommended APV as having the knowledge and ability to perform the work. Took the car to them. They did ask if we had a specific time frame (we did not) as a complete overhaul (engine, frame, electrical) would take time. THESE GUYS DID A GREAT JOB!!! The car rides like new and the engine purrs with no leaks. APV! Would NOT RECOMMEND! This shop had my vehicle for 2 weeks and was unable to figure out the problem that another nearby shop (C.A.R.S) both isolated and repaired within 4 hours. AVP is also terrible at communicating: days would pass without a call to let us know their progress (or lack of), and when we called to get an update, one person would give completely opposite details of what was done/not done than what the mechanic claimed. Plus, they did things that were not even pertinent to the issue we asked them to fix. I really dislike making bad reviews, but this shop did us very badly.

After being told by my regular shop that I needed a new engine and basically pricing themselves out of trying to fix it, I was referred to AVP Automotive by a friend.After listening to what happened, AVP AUTOMOTIVE came up with a repair plan that was practical and affordable.It's nice to find a real repair shop that isn't just a remove and replace shop!

Amazing and knowledgeable. Fast. I took my car in bc my car kept dying. They had it diagnosed within a couple hours with multiple repair options. We started with the cheapest and most likely. Fixed. They also identified and repaired a coolant leak. We have maintained all of our vehicles with AVP Automotive during its entire existence. And we have been with Aaron throughout most of his career which is 25+ years! He is honest and thorough in every task he handles. Aaron can maintain your vehicle no matter what the complexity, whether it be a simple brake job, a more complex valve job, or a complete engine overhaul. He even builds racing engines in his spare time. Our cars and trucks always run and perform the best right after Aaron has worked on them! And he specializes in completing the smallest of details on every job that he performs. I highly recommend Aaron and AVP Automotive!

I would recommend this shop for all my car repairs. They was very informative with the repairs of my car and the amount it will cost. Their customer service was very professional and easy to talk with. They always answered my phone calls and text messages right way. This guy kept my car running when I lived in Beggs and Tulsa! He helped me understand what was going on with my car and what should be done now and what could wait. His prices were perfect for me and the turn around time was great! I'd trust him with my car if I lived in the Tulsa area still.
