AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care provided exceptional service! The team was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. My car runs like new again thanks to their expertise. Highly recommend for all your automotive needs! They finished in such a timely manner I took it in at the beginning of the week and I got it back before the end of the week.

I called to get my transmission fluid and filter changed. I let them know I needed it done same day to meet my schedule. I was told they could get me in but it might take all day. I was very appreciative that they got me in and out the door within a couple of hours.I saved 200 dollars from what the dealer told me I d pay. My experience was great and I would recommend them to friends.

Aamco very friendly and company is very productive, and they work hard to get your transportation ready and on the road. Highly recommend them. I just found me a new mechanic. Thanks Greg fixing my Kia!

Had a transfer case replaced on a 2015 Silverado LTZ. Beautiful truck. While in their possession the passenger side window was busted out. I was told they are not responsible, that I would have to buy a new window, which I did and they installed. The window that was broke had factory tint. The replacement did not. There is glass everywhere inside my truck, they said they cleaned all the glass out. That was a flat out Lie!! And to top it all off the truck is making a loud grinding noise over 50 miles an hour and I have to have the windows tinted to match. $1900 for the grinding transfer case $100 to have all the glass removed and $250 for the tint. I do not recommend this place and I will never do business with them again.Update: I did contact the GM after receiving that message. I will say this, he was less than helpful and stated that they aren t responsible and that as far as not cleaning up the broken glass that they didn t have a vacuum and what did I expect them to do? Again if you take your vehicle here do it at your own risk!!!

I tried to get in for the February transmission service special. I tried to call ahead 2 times. I tried to show up 15 minutes before the shop opened 3 times. Every time I tried to take advantage of this special the man I spoke to at 41st and Harvard was SO terribly swamped he couldn't get to me no matter if I left the vehicle with him or how flexible or cooperative I tried to be. Always some excuse. Look, if you don't want my business just say so!! I had this same shop do an amazing job on a full transmission replacement on a different car years gone by, that's why I was so insistent on getting in on this special. But, seems the work ethic Aamco used to have isnt being practiced there anymore. Good luck.

This rating is a little more difficult for me to leave. I want to state that if I'm rating this purely off of my experience with Greg and his staff, I would give them 5 stars easily. However, because of the fact that this was a second transmission rebuild needed from the same business in a little over 2 years and less than 18k miles, and the warranty on this rebuild is even shorter than the previous warranty (from 18 months/18k miles down to 12 month/12k miles) I cannot say I personally am a big fan of AAMCO as a company themselves. This is a 5 star team working for a 2 star corporation.

I recently had my car break down and had to have it towed to AAMCO to see what is wrong with it.The process was straightforward but the reason for this review is to say that Greg went above and beyond to help me with my situation.Definitely recommend this place.

Stay away from this place I took Transmisin if I believe a few months back it was a carry-on they didn t have any problem with checking it and they came in an estimate of $4200 and three months warranty on it at the time I thought it was to little on the warranty but I paid it anyways two weeks before the warranty to expire transmission was overheating I took it back drop it off on 9 o clock in the morning around 2 o clock. They text me back and they say they could not check it because I don t have an air filter and I was low 2/4 of oil engine oil which to me was surprised they did check it out when it was out of truck so 3000 miles later I had to pay another $4200 to rebuild it again Then I find out that store didn t fix my transmission A different store did it so no one did they couldn t check it because they don t have a guy who works on diesel transmission over there stairway not everybody has $4200 every four months or six months to spend

This place is the only place where I will get my work done on my car because they was honest and kept it real when I took my car back in to have it looked at again and they found out what was really the issue was with my transmission leaking after fixing it first time they fixed it for free... U can't go wrong with ammco transmission

In the past I always did my own instalation and maintenence on my vehicles. I like older cars and want them to be like new cars, so I found AMMCO on memorial and 15th. I can't do the work like I used to so the boys at Ammco have taken on the responsibility of replacement of transmission, brakes, front end parts. I like the fact that I can make a relationship with the crew there and know the work will be done well and to spec. That's hard to find these days. I highly recommend that you do business with this group of hard working men at Ammco on 15th and Memorial soon.Jim Danne

This shop saved the day. My grandson barely rolled into Tulsa with a burned out clutch. He needs his vehicle to start school and Dylan was able to get him in the same day. They made my grandson a priority and would have gotten both the clutch and ac repair all done by close of business except they found a severe fuel line leak (hose was worn through!). Next morning they got everything finished and delivered the truck to the hotel where my grandson was staying. Great service and I appreciate them taking good care of my grandson.Services: Transmission, Air conditioning

AAMCO, is in business to take advantage of those that don t know anything about auto repairs. I took my car in and was told that I needed a complete brake job. That the price would be $989.22. I agreed to the job. When I arrived to get the car Dylan told me he overcharged me and it would only be $919.20. He told me he got cheaper parts from O Reilly s. My son told me to call and check the prices at O Reilly s. I was told by them that the highest priced Rotors that they had was $75.00 and the pads were $64.97. But that you could get a kit that includes everything for front and back rotors and pads for $361.51. But the mechanics price would be cheaper. As we know the shop will markup the price. AAMCO charged me $270.00 x2 (rotors) and $64.97 x2 for pads. Watch and research cost when doing business with AAMCO. That s a markup of 200.00 per set of Rotors. Dylan just know God sees all you deeds right or wrong.Service: Brakes

I had my vehicle serviced for catalytic converter and fan. When vehicle was towed I was asked by shop if I would like to have them install a battery and I asked if they could give the battery a boost temporarily to diagnose and was refused. I purchased battery and informed them that I could install. I was told that by staff that they would have it installed for free. I accepted this offer. Upon picking up the vehicle I checked underneath the hood to ensure the battery was installed. It was installed but the batter cover and tie down were missing only to have battery not secure in place. When mentioned to staff I was informed that they couldn t find it after looking for it and would purchase another and have delivered to the shop. When it was received I never received a call I had to stay on top of it. I was then told I could come get it and in less than two weeks time I had an opportunity to go get it to which I was told over the phone nonchalantly that they would have to look for it. When I mentioned the details of the situation and who told me they had the part the staff responsible for the replacement finally spoke up saying they had it. When I arrived I was not welcomed with neither enthusiasm nor any type of concern but a smug look and air. I will never be back guysService: Exhaust

I'm giving them a 2-star review...BECAUSE...They gave no reasonable explanation as to what was going on with my wife's van. On top of that they threw some outlandish figure of $4,000 to fix something they had no clue what to fix. AND when I called and told the character up front (Steve) I was coming to pick it up that afternoon he failed to tell the mechanics that I was coming. Got there at 5:45PM and they had to move vehicles around to get it out of the fenced off lot. All the while he got to drive away 5 minutes before quitting time!!!

I ve had a couple weeks of bad news and then my car started acting up. Every single shop was booked out for weeks. Beau (or bo?) got me in Friday on short notice and ran diagnostics on my car. The shop really helped me out and i am so grateful. These guys are so nice and explained things to where i understood them. So helpful. I highly recommend themService: Transmission

On Monday, 5/04/2020, I was picking up my daughter from daycare and noticed my air conditioner was not cooling well. I did a quick Google search for air conditioner places to take my car. I called them at 4:50pm. They offered me an appointment for the very next day to look at the car. The person I spoke with, Jerry, notified me of a courtesy inspection of the car prior to any work needing to be performed. At 5:05 pm, my car broke down on the side of the highway and I managed to limp it to a parking lot to call AAA. I called them back and notified them of what had happened. Jerry asked me if I was safe and if I had roadside assistance, I did. I had the car towed to their location after hours and they gave me instructions on where to place my keys. The tow truck driver was very nice as well and was familiar with the AAMCO facility. Due to the storms that evening, the tow truck driver told me to go home and he will take care of everything. I called AAMCO at 8:30am, 05/05/2020. They confirmed they had the car safely in their possession and were about to start the inspection. At noon, Jerry called. He noted the cap on my radiator was off (WHAT?!). He told me best and worst case scenario. They were going to refill the antifreeze, reinspect the car, perform a block test, and test drive my vehicle. He quoted me one hour for repair/labor. I was praying the worst had not happened and I had not blown my head gasket. He called a few hours later and I was bracing for the worst. He notified me that the block test came back, and it was good. I came to pick up my car at 3pm. Less than 24 hours!!! I am very happy and they were very willing to help me out to get my car back as quick as possible. I can't thank them enough.
