4-Way continues to provide excellent quality transmission work, at reasonable (in today's inflated prices) rates, with honesty and integrity. My old Explorer shifts like it did 31 years ago when my Dad bought it new...

Was honest with my wife's van. Turned out it was not a transmission leak. They could have easily charged any amount for work but was honest about it

4 way has fixed a few automatic transmissions for me. They have always done a good job in a timely manner.Also big thank you to Jim for extending my warranty and fixing 3rd and 4th gear for me!

I took my car in for service and got told by a transmission expert that the problem was a wheel bearing. The wheel bearing specialist has assured me now it is a transmission problem. Are there any good honest mechanics in Shawnee that know what they are doing?

This place probably has the most honest and professional automotive machanics in the state of Oklahoma. My dad and uncles have been doing business with 4 Way Transmission since the 1980s. Dad always said if you ever need any tranny work done, this is the place to bring your vehicle. It is now 2018 and the tranny in my 1997 GMC 2500 Sierra SLT was slipping, and after 4 Way removed, rebuilt, and reinstalled it, it runs and shifts like it's brand new. I could write a lot more about 4 Way, but there is no need too, their quality of work says it all.Thanks for your great work, and your professional business ethics when it comes to taking care of your customers. Friendly folk. Didnt get service. But i broke down outside and they looked over my cars tranny via comp and were helpful in resolving my issue

If you have performance parts on your car/truck put your name on them before going here. I took my truck there for a trans mission leak. $900 later I now have an older transmission that will not accept the program mods that had already been done and a new cross-member (different transmission), plus a shiny new steel drive shaft in place of the aluminum that had been there. The cost difference between drive shafts is about $500. Ill have to pay a core charge to get the tranny that supposed to be in there back in place. I'll be out about $2000+ to get it right. I talked with the owner Jim and he denied his mechanics would do such a thing. 4-way is the only place it has been that could do this despicable act. I would have been happy if he had given me a salvage ALUMINUM drive shaft and 3 piece tranny core. But he would not listen.Maybe he will listen in court. Until then my performance truck misses 2nd and 3rd gear unless i drive like Granny. Would not recommend going so far out of the way to this place.Update. Took my truck to the Transmission Garage and explained my dilemma to Juble Barrett the owner. He crawled under my truck and went "Oh My" he came out and said i had the wrong transmission and the drive shaft was about 2 inches to short. Jim at 4 way only got out of his chair to yell at me. The Transmission Garage specializes in the 4L60E transmission and they very respectful and fair. Juble got me a 3 piece core at no extra charge and sold me an used aluminum drive shaft for less than the salvage yard wanted. I own 4 Chevy trucks, none of them will ever see 4 way.
