We called Shinook to ask how much it would cost to get the Heads Milled on our 03 Subaru. They Told us It would be $130, when we Delivered them the removed the cams and were very polite, once they were done, they said it was over $250. when we asked why, they said because they had to take the cams out (which was not mentioned when we delivered them.and from videos I've seen online It's not 100% necessary) when we Picked them up they offered to reinstall the Cams for a Fee. (which since they pulled them and charged us they should have installed them when they were finished. none of this was explained before hand. If you plan on dealing them make sure they give you a step by step cost before they start. We ended up paying double what the quote was even tho they never said a single word about charging more, or bothered to call and ask if we wanted to pay that much. there is a few places around here that do the same. Go to one of them, of all the ones I talked to the sound more expensive at first but from what I've heard since is they don't straight up Lie to a customer and then Double the quote.Honestly the worst part was this was My Marine Vet Grandpa that had to deal with this who lives on a Fixed Income. I find it extremely underhanded to take advantage of people like that.TLDR: Shinook Auto Machine will lie to your Face then Add Charges without asking if that's what you want.

Engine white smokes like a freight train after full rebuild. They are not gonna help make it right.Agreed apon and price, they went over by $1000+.Charged me $2400 for injectors omly to find out they cost $1800 from the fuel injection place they bought them from.

this place is great customer service is amazing my block crank and heads looked brand new when they were done let them order your parts too prices right along the same price as summit they went above and beyond for me
