Very upfront, NO B.S. in the way they handle business. They aren't going to tell you one thing just to get you to spend money. After working as a mechanic, , I understand people want their car diagnostics done over the phone, but it doesnt work that way, no problem is the same from car to car. I dropped off my car to have it checked out, and they got back to me later that day with the information I needed for me to make my decision, and they weren't pushy at all, I've taken several vehicles to them, and will continue to do so.

Economy Transmissions runs an honest business with knowledge about the trade that is untouchable. They did wonderful work on several vehicles of mine in the past ,I will continue to recommend them to everyone!

Now, this isn't exactly fair, because they might do amazing work, but after my phone call with them the other day, I will not bring anything I own to them.I thrashed my transmission on my 1987 Chevrolet earlier this week and called around to see who would quote the rebuild the cheapest. I called here first, and they gave me a quote that was well out of what I could spend at the moment, and I said thanks and hung up the phone. My coworker overheard me on the phone and waited about 30 minutes and called with the same information and questions I had, and got a quote for 400$ less than what they quoted me. I am a female, he is a male. And this is 2016. I am fully aware that in some instances, women are inferior, but I am a female aircraft mechanic, I think I should be given a mechanics respect, not low balling me because I was born a woman. So, now that my rant is over, no matter how great their skills or turned out products are, I will never do business with this place.

Very irresponsibles ... Make an appointment to verify my car, the day of the appointment arrived 15 minutes before and there was nobody in the place or answer the phone, I waited and spent more than 20 minutes and then someone appeared and after I lost my day of work they tell me to leave the car if I want but they will not verify it until the next day. So what's the appointment for?
