Have had them do a few repairs on my son's truck when he has been in school and his friends car when it broke down visiting Stillwater. Outstanding experience every time and highly recommend. Top notch diagnostics and a fair price on the repairs. Definitely a place we can trust.

Very happy with my experience! Staff was very kind and helpful and I appreciated the breakdown of costs on what was expected before any work was done. I needed my alternator replaced and was very shocked by how fast it was completed. I was able to drop car off and pick it up all in same day.

Brought the car in and was quoted almost $3000 dollars for a AC repair so I brought it to another shop who fixed it for less than a thousand. I decided to give them another chance and got an oil change and tire rotation from them and like some sort of sick joke they tighten not only my rims with an impact wrench to the point where it CRACKED THE TIRE IRON they also tightened my OIL NUT with an IMPACT WRENCH making it physically impossible to get it loose myself. I have to bring my car to another repair shop so they can loosen both my tires and my oil nut. I will not be making the mistake of going here again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Stillwater Automotive is the best auto repair in town. Took my Jeep in for a misfire and needed a cylinder head replacement. Followed up consistently to make sure everything ran great. A few months later had an engine coolant problem and was completely covered under warranty. Also received a 6 month roadside assistance complimentary to my oil change. Got it in and out under a day. Would recommend Stillwater Automotive to everyone I know.

Was needing minor repair work done. Stopped in with questions and was so pleased with their help and information. Was given an estimated date the work could be done. Left my car with Melissa and she sent me a message letting me know soon as it was ready for pickup. Pretty sure she offered to have my car picked up should I have needed it! Awesome work! Ty guys!

Friendly staff, quick and efficient service. I like that they include the oil filter in the oil change instead of trying to up sell it later, and I like that they did a vehicle inspection but just handed me a printout of the findings instead of trying to talk me into anything. I hope they offer their $40 first-time-customer oil change special as a loyalty reward to returning customers a few times a year!

In the office for less than 2 minutes and caught them in a bold faced lie. Just imagine what they would have tried if they got my vehicle in their shop. IT WAS FLUID. THAT I NEEDED TO KNOW WAS THE RIGHT STUFF. AND IT WAS ALREADY BEING DONE UNDER AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. DONT NEED YOUR WARRANTY. I didn't give 2 craps if you had to charge me extra for the lack of "markup". I wanted to verify the correct fluid was going in, per the TSB.

Great experience and good pricing for car repair. We brought our vehicle to Stillwater Automotive from another mechanic when they were unable to fulfill our needs. Stillwater Automotive communicated well and quickly resolved the issues we were having with our car.

Went to Stillwater Automotive with the task of trying to figure out why my transmission was slipping in my Subaru Outback. Had them do an overall inspection on the vehicle, learned that a few other things should probably get fixed as well. Called them to have them do a Transmission Flush and Melissa was very honest with me and told me that this wouldn't fix anything and would actually possibly make things worse. It's hard to find honesty in a mechanic from my experience and I appreciate the total transparency. The inspection however was very thorough with pictures and itemized pricing and what it would be to fix everything. Am thankful for Melissa and the team for being so speedy as well. Very satisfied. Appointment made at 1pm on the same day I came in. Tyler very helpful. My undercar flash pads were reattached and all for under $50. I had concluded the repair would cost me $500 to $900 based on my thorough internet research and concluding I would need to buy replacement parts and pay for installation.Service: Auto body & trim repairService: Auto body & trim repair

Anytime anyone asks for recommendations on getting their car serviced, I am quick to say "Stillwater Automotive!" The service here is impeccable - everyone is professional, knowledgeable and works hard to provide exceptional service from the moment you enter the office to when you're picking up your car to leave.When I had questions about what to prioritize and the details of some of the work they were needing to do, I was met with patience, thorough answers and a recommendation that I could trust was best for my situation and my vehicle. Nearly $500 for a battery replacement. They didnt input the anti theft code after the repair so I couldn t use my radio, and various alerts and check engine lights were apparent so I m guessing they didn t test the vehicle after switching the battery. I initially brought it in because the vehicle had trouble starting, and they performed what appeared to be a thorough diagnostic service and suggested I have them do a lot of extra work. They gave the vehicle back to me and after two days it was still having trouble starting. I brought it back today and they suggested a $600 repair unrelated to the starting issue. While my initial documents from the shop state that the starter came back with no issues, on the second trip to the shop they noted that the starter was on its way out. They were pretty squirrelly about all of it. Customer service is nice and the lobby is nice but I just want my car to start and wanted to have a trustworthy mechanic in Stillwater but this ain t it. Suggest that they keep a focused eye on the priorities and leave off pushing extras until they get the job done correctly the first time.Service: Battery

This automotive shop has great communication and attention to detail. I have never been to a more organized mechanic shop. They sent me a full inspection report with pictures of my car. Their service is timely, and I don't feel like they try to still my money. They also provide transportation to and from the shop. This saved me a lot in Uber fees. Highly recommend!!!!

My charge light came on Friday night. I dropped off my vehicle on Saturday. Their parking lot was almost full, so I knew they had lots of cars before mine. On Tuesday, they were able to complete a warranty replacement of my alternator. They had replaced it in last year, and it was under warranty.I appreciate their honesty and integrity in dealing with me. It was a pleasure to talk with the office staff. They are always good to help me understand what's what.Service: Electrical

I brought in my 2014 chevy cruze which is sadly at the end of it's life, and Tylar was especially helpful in guiding me on what to look for when purchasing a new car as well as helping me learn what all was wrong with my current vehicle. The whole staff was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable, and I can't say enough good things about them!

I asked for an estimate. After keeping my truck for a whole day they finally got back to me with a diagnostic for my entire vehicle. They wanted 5x what the part cost and then charged me 75 dollars to get my truck back. Probably a worthwhile service had I asked for it or been informed of the cost, but I wasn't. I don't know who will be working on my truck, but I know who won't be!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Back in March they replaced my alternator, well my gauges started messing up 2 days after that and they told me that the alternator was fine. Well today that same alternator caught on fire because of wiring and they basically said it s not their fault.Do not recommend them.

I fully trust the staff as they are extremely knowledgeable and give you a detailed list and breakdown of what your vehicles needs to remain running the best it can. I was traveling home to Iowa when the water pump went out on my Lexus RX350 on I-35 near the Stillwater exit. The person who towed my vehicle recommended Stillwater Automotive, and not being familiar with the area, I took his advice and had him tow it there. I am thankful for that advice . Melissa was excellent with communication, and the repairs were performed expertly and fast, especially given the labor intensive job it is on my specific make/model. It s stressful having your car break down on the road, let alone being by myself, and out of state where nothing was familiar. Thank you, Stillwater Automotive . your excellent work got this Iowa girl home safely.

The overall energy in the establishment is always very welcoming and warm, and they make sure that what you want to get taken care of, gets taken care of right! Service was great and the way they tell you exactly what is wrong and how it affects your car was way above any service I ve ever had. Lonnie s done a great job through the years obviously getting the latest and most efficient technology. I could ask for a friendlier or more personable team than what I had with Kala and Tyler working together to get my car taken care of. Great customer service and technical service. Labor rate is very reasonable. I'm grateful that they didn't just throw parts to it like other shops I've used before. They did forget to call and let me know my vehicle was done but they do stay very busy so it is completely understandable. If you don't hear from them, you can always call or go by. If you do have less than a great experience, please let them know so they can try to make it right before leaving a bad review. Bottom line is that my truck didn't work when I had it towed to them and now it does. Plus my son is happy that he no longer has to ride around in a mini van.

First, I am so grateful to my extended family at Stillwater Automotive for taking excellent care of my 2007 Ford Fusion (with nearly 250,000 miles) since 2015. Secondly, I recently drove to Chicago and back with the confidence that my vehicle was road-ready. I had it serviced before the trip to include an oil change. Once on the road, I laughed as I realized a synthetic oil (blend) was used. As a result, my vehicle performed superbly throughout the trip. In Chicago, my family members even commented, "You have a great mechanic!" So, again, I cannot thank my extended family enough for keeping my car in "tip-top" shape! All of the staff at Stillwater Automotive are kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Every time I have gone in to have my car worked on, Lonnie and the rest of the team have been great at explaining what the issue is and giving me an honest estimate of what the cost will be. I know that the price for service will be fair and the quality of work will be top notch. They are always happy to answer any questions I have, and welcome me to the shop with a smile. I would recommend anyone in Stillwater to visit Stillwater Automotive next time they need something serviced.

We needed some annual maintenance done to our vehicle and they were able to get us right in. They were finished ahead of time which allowed enough time for a replacement piece to come in and be installed before we picked it up. We just recently moved back in to town and knew from past experience that Stillwater Automotive was a trustworthy shop to take our vehicles too, so that s what we did.
