Wait times aren t nearly as bad anymore with the new QR code check in. Was seen in a reasonable amount of time, and when I had to return on a Friday there was nobody waiting and was seen almost immediately!

They need to get rid of the sign in their office that says it only takes 20-30 minutes per person at desk. It's a complete lie. I got there half an hour after they opened and checked in with 15 people ahead of me. With the 2 stations they had that day they couldn't even get through 6 people in 4 hours cause there's a good 10-15 minutes of silence between person in addition to the 20-30 minutes where they don't call anyone. Good luck getting what you need done here at all. The only way you'd even have a chance of getting seen here is if you show up to stand in line before they open and even then you'll probably have to take off part or your entire work day. I'm glad I got that backup appointment at another office an hour away because you're better off just doing that.

Waited from 9:30am-3:00pm to be turned down after I called in advance to verify that my paperwork was in order. Three service stations and four employees present with only one of the stations in operation so the other three may play on their phones. This place is ridiculous

Good service. The wait time wasn't long even near closing. The clerks were very helpful and very friendly.

I was told I must come before opening hours and I must be one of the first twenty people in line because twenty people is their maximum capacity for an entire day. This office has only ONE single worker who processes normal things like expired DL or out of state transfer.

Stillwater DPS was awesome and efficient at getting our out of state licenses done. It s a small office that s short staffed, so keep that in mind. They do break for lunch, so try to get in early in the morning and then the resume in the afternoon. Make sure to call ahead of you have any questions so you re ready with your appropriate documents. Great, efficient experience by the two DPS folks!

Understaffed is an understatement. This is not the employees' fault, but when you turn away more than the line of people standing outside when you open, you need better staffing. Ponca City or Tulsa is a much better option.

It is MINDBOGGLING to me that this place only has 1 PERSON on staff to do everything, including drivers tests! You have people waiting for HOURS to be seen. This place deserves negative stars. The Oklahoma government is an absolute mess as shown by this dumpster fire of a service center.

They don t respect people and specially the tall male with the glasses that his office #3 (located at the left end) raised his voice and I m so glad that I kept my cool. I understand they face many types of different people every day but I believe there should be a law that protect us from these kind of behavior

This Place is understaff, rude and doesn t try to provide anyone help, they re just trying to get through their work day. Great to see tax dollars going to rude cigarette smelling individuals.

Waited 2pm til 4pm my number was next, come out and say they can t help anyone else because they have to close and it takes 20 minutes. I just needed a simple task that takes 5 minutes. They said I d would take 10 minutes and they close at 4:45. I told them that still leaves 25 minutes. They said I should go to okc. These people are lazy and worthless and should be fired and replaced.

We had a really good experience here. Scheduled online and we were helped and out of the office within 20 minutes. Tips: schedule online, arrive about 10 minutes early, make sure you have all of your correct paperwork with you and you'll be fine! Yes, you have to pay $3.75 to schedule online but if you compare that to the value of your time if you have to sit and wait without an appointment, it's worth it .

I waited from 10 am-4:45 pm, until the office closed, my turn never came. They stopped taking in clients 5 minutes before the office closed. It was already my third attempt with insanely long wait off the work. On the third day, I was the next, but when asked why they didn t take me in they responded very rudely whether I was asking them for favoritism. Extremely slow service and rude staffs! They lack professionalism and enthusiasm for work. Three stations but usually one station provides the service. The crowd of customers is absolutely disproportionate to their staff number and service stations. The poorest management I ve ever seen in any US public offices. The waiting room, very close to the stinky and unclean restrooms, smells terrible. And the waiting room too is so narrow, unclean, and stinky. Absolutely horrible DMV office with rudest and unprofessional staffs!

Got there 30 minutes before they opened. There was already a line. When the office opened at 8am they told us that they only had 2 people working so the wait would be long. About 10 o'clock comes by, some lady walks out to tell us that they will probably not be taking any more walk-ins before lunch because they still have a lot if appointments scheduled. So if you're gonna be understaffed and overscheduled why accept walk ins at all? Or why take appointments? It's clear that the place is not properly staffed and management does not seem to care to do anything about it.

I have tried for 3 weeks now to get in here and when i finally get the chance, i see 10-20 people leaving because they only see 20 or so people every day. This has to be a joke.

Office is closed until 3-8-22. There is a miniscule sign on the door that you cannot read if you are not the first person in line due to social distancing. Also, this place closes 20-30 minutes early on Fridays for "paperwork". The attitude of some of the employees are ridiculous. Extremely unhelpful and unprofessional.

Went to renew my intrastate CDL and was told by the employee that I could do that at any tag agency. When I got the tag agency I was informed that they cannot renew CDL license.

There is nothing wrong with this facility. Although to wait time is bad and you have to get up early for a spot in line, almost all people leaving reviews on google where probably unprepared or showed up at 12pm. If you show up with the appropriate ID and paperwork you will leave in time it takes to get through the line. The staff was nice for the stupid people they have to deal with all day. As far as the smell people are complaining about, besides the outside look of the building the inside is adequate and the only smell in the building is that of the vistors.

The website states walkin. Walked in and was advised they give 20 tickets out per day. Why do they not update the website? Waste of time

I had a great experience with the DPS. I went in to have my name changed on my licence. the wait time was a little long, but i also did not make an appointment so that was to be expected. The gentleman who helped me explained everything and made sure I understood. he was kind and polite and answered all my questions without making me feel dumb. All in all a very positive experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Just called them to ask about the website b/c it seems to be messed up. Ms or Mrs Rodrigues answered the phone with so much attitude. I stayed polite and asked my question Hello ma am, when I click on the next available date it doesn t show any. she replied with yes it does. There s nothing you need to gripe about you just need to look at it. then I replied with it shows there s not a date until next year she replied with the worst attitude I ve heard (that literally made all my students spin around in shock) No. You re wrong. It doesn t show that. so i tried to repeat myself that it s not working and she continued to talk over me and ignore my question. Every. Single. Time. If it s possible I d like the manager to email me about it. Thank you.

This is the WORST public office ever. I have been verbally assaulted by staff TWICE now. One employee, Leon Cox, apparently thinks it s appropriate to scream and swear at customers if they express frustration with the horrible service. No one seems to know the correct information to give out, and the building smells so strongly of mold it s hard to breathe. The state needs to either fire some people or do something because it s appalling how awful this office is.

Don t waste your time here. They don t care about the fact that most are missing work to be there. My son and I have wasted hours here just trying to get his permit. This last time we wasted 2 hours just to get a piece of paper of which we did not get. Terrible customer service. They don t move quickly at all unless it s time for lunch or to go home. We will make the drive to Perkins. This site mandates at least one star, otherwise I would give them none.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Took my daughter in to take her driving exam and the lady basically said oh it s just her first time, we will be back in 5-10 mins as they were waking out to go drive. She immediately took her to parallel park and stated the backup camera was in the red so that is like hitting another car and she failed her. Then came back and stated don t worry I failed my first time as well . She did not get to drive or anything. Her comments already gave it away that she was going to fail her the first time so the whole Stillwater always fails you the first time is very accurate.

Staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. This place is usually pretty busy, it is better to visit it with appointment. Appointment can be booked online with a nominal fee of around $4. You can reach there by using the OSU's Scarlet bus service.

We made an appointment online and didn't wait but just a few minutes. The staff was polite and helpful. They seemed to really enjoy their jobs and it definitely reflects in their customer service.
