Called twice for a simple quote for a full glass entry door, that was 4 days ago. Twice the gentleman said ( he was polite) that the guy who does the quotes was busy and would call right back.

My experience at Don Evans was amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable about the services they provide, and made the process very easy on what I wanted to put on my vehicle.I live 50 miles away but my family has used Don Evans for over 20 years, so this is the place I decided to bring my vehicle and I m sure glad I did!

I ve been going here for years! I ve never had an issue with any window tints. When I bought my new vehicle the other day, I knew who I would call. I made my appointment. I was even late, but they got me in and out with no problems!! A great local business that s been around forever! They were super helpful and have lots of options with various price points. They really took the time to explain the process and the different tints to me so I could make an informed decision. The tint looks great on my vehicle. I brought 4 vehicles into Don Evans window tint over the last 6 months & each time I have left with great looking windows. They are fast & do a great job. I recommend it to anyone who mentions wanting to get their windows tinted. They take care of you & offer a warranty which makes spending the money well worth it. I live out of the area but am willing to drive for them. I can call on a Monday & they can get me in on a Wednesday. I brought my Matrix there the first day I bought it. I bought the highest tier Winco tint and it sure does help. It was a great initial investment especially because of the lifetime warranty. I scratched the back tint hauling some cargo and they replaced it; no questions asked. Thanks JD.

Every vehicle I've owned since the early 2000's has had their windows tinted by Don Evans Window Tint. I now live in Charleston South Carolina and decided to have Don Evans tint the windows on my wife's car last year when I was in town for a couple of weeks. Not only did they do a spectacular job just as they have with ever other vehicle I've owned, but the Wincos ceramic tint is the best temperature regulating tint I've ever come across. Now I'm making a trip back this year to have Don Evans tint the windows on my new Land Rover. I won't go to anywhere else as long as their doors are open. By far the worst place I ve even been to! This place is a joke. I had bubbles all over my windows. It was peeling off within a week of having them tinted. I mean I m honestly not sure how this place is even in business. If I could give it 0 stars I would! The guy with the pony tail was a complete jerk to me. Had attitude. Super short spoken when I had questions

I have had five of my own vehicles tinted here (about to be six) and have recommended many people to them. They do amazing work every time. I am a perfectionist and like to see if I can find any imperfections in the tint when I get the vehicle back. Don Evans is the only one that gets it spot on every time in my experience. They offer quality tint, and over the years their selection has definitely grown. If you have problems with the cops though, you might ask them to not put the tint any lower than the "AS1" line on the windshield. In my experience they always go a good few inches below that line. One of my friends got pulled over regularly due to the tint being below that line. I haven't had any problems though. Anyway, only complaint with Don Evans is their customer service. Every time I've called them they seem annoyed. In person it is just the same. However, they do great work so that is not going to stop me from using them.Service: Vehicle window tinting

This place has always been my go to when it comes to getting my car windows tinted. Justin DeNoya with Don Evans was recommended from a couple friends who had great dealings with them. So, I called Justin and set an appointment for that weekend. Then I drove two hours to have my new (to me) vehicle's window tint removed and new tint installed. I was greeted at the door and offered the different window tint that they have and recommend. Once they were done I could tell I made the right decision to make the drive and have them handle this for me. I'm in the process of buying another vehicle and there is no question. Brought a vehicle in for window tinting and left with my car having chipped paint. The dealership I bought the car from even said they have stopped using them for this same reason. Vehicles were being given back in worse condition than when dropped off. Highly recommend going somewhere else. On top of that they lack customer service and will not be held responsible for your vehicle while on their property. If I could give zero stars I would.Service: Vehicle window tinting

Called Friday at 1pm, was scheduled for following Saturday (today), guy in office was to the point took them 1.5 hours to call and say truck was done. Will go back if needed on other vehicles

They did a GREAT job and i was in and out for 2 side windows + the windshield in an hour and a half. The one thing i would say i would like to be done differently is more concise communication, like many other reviews mention. I was quoted over the phone for 250 and made my appointment, after everything was said and done i was told it was almost 500 dollars... which is horrific for anyone who doesnt have that much extra money saved up.

We ve had numerous vehicles tinted over the years here this is the only place we take our vehicles to. We ve also had paint protectant pieces reapplied and they did a job that looked just as good if not better than what was original from the factory.Their work is very professional and top of the line. They do have multiple options of tint to choose from we choose the higher end ones for extreme performance and infrared reduction.We would highly recommend using this business. They do a high quality job and can be trusted.Services: Paint protection, Vehicle window tinting

They did a very high quality job; pleased with the results. Although, I am deducting 2 stars not for their work, but their customer service. I was told on the phone I could wait while my vehicle was serviced, I come to my appointment and am told it would take several hours and not offered the option to wait. Which was fine, I would have simply enjoyed being told that upfront so I could have made transportation accommodations prior. The first employee I spoke to about getting tint done was not very welcoming and did provide explanations on the differences between price and tint. I had to ask numerous questions to find the best fit for me, and by then he seemed as though he was annoyed with my persistence. When I came back after several hours , I checked out with a different employee who was happy to assist, give me advice and thorough explanations. It would have been nice to have that latter experience throughout my time. For the amount of money I was willing to spend on this commodity, I would have liked some sort of explanation on its differences before purchasing... not after.Services: Sun control window tinting, Privacy window films, Vehicle window tinting

The reason for the 3 stars is because of there only one person inside from each car policy. I understand the policy is their choice and respect that. The execution and lack of communication is the problem. I made an appointment a week in advance and even followed up with them before coming and not a word about the one person rule knowing I was planning on waiting. When I got there they told me it would be two hours and my wife and I could not wait inside at the same time. Luckily the Freddy's next door let us wait inside or it would of been very uncomfortable. They do good work but the policy and communication needs work.

They did a reasonably quick job on my wife's truck a gift for her birthday. but I was forced to endure the man in charge barade the helper for 20 minutes, in the shop while I setting the waiting Room one doorway away. I had a sense of complete unprofessionalism while I was there and Probably would not return as long as that employee is around. The work was done well and in a timely manner.

Fast and beautiful job. I didn't know what I didn't know about tint shade versus actual heat reduction. They were happy to educate me and now it looks great and I have a much more comfortable ride. Thanks for getting it done.

I had a very horrific experience here, I took my car to get windows tinted. Then less than a day after I Got my widows tinted I noticed this thin sticky film on my windows right above the tent.I notified Don and he actually acted clueless. And he maybe clueless, but not about that happened to my car. My car was spotless when I took it in. This truly was a mistake taking it to this place. And I suggest that you don t make the same mistake by taking it to this place.
