Horrible experience. Checked in to get my tire patched, with Christopher. He told me they were starting the service then. I never left Walmart and came back about forty minutes later after never hearing a page or phone call that my car was finished. Crystal was at the service desk and informed me the was a glitch in the system and they needed to update my work order and had not started my vehicle. She also said they had paged me multiple times, despite my listening for my name and hearing nothing. As I left, I saw Christopher by my car and told him thanks for not fixing it. His coworker Shawn thought he was funny and told me to give them a five star review. I let him know I'm a local guide on Google and the service center would be receiving one star. He laughed and said one star reviews don't matter to his bosses. So here it is. With pictures of my work order ticket and the obvious bolt in my tire that could have been fixed. Ended up going to Discount Tire down the street. I was in and out in under forty minutes ( and their line was long.) Joshua, Demetri, & Ethan are highly recommend over Walmart's poor excuse of staff, labor, and customer service. Not to mention they do patches for FREE!!! I guess unlike Walmart, Discount Tires pay their employees enough to care!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! they don't know what they are doing . I had to get a new battery and they installed it, when I got my car back BOTH my windows would go down every time I opened my doors. The guy from Walmart acted like it was doing it before he messed with it. I told him it DID NOT have that problem before he touched it. He was no help. I immediately took it to O'Reilly's and the guy said in my car after changing a battery you have to reprogram the window, and he did it within 2 minutes. I will never go back here. This is the second time something like this has happened. They have no clue up there and are overpriced!

Had my oil changed. It didn't take very long to get the job done. Employees were friendly. Cost wasn't too bad.

Even though they were closing they fixed the battery, and four techs made sure it was put back together properly. They honored the warranty and replaced the battery for free... great job guys!

They re cheap because they suck, got my tire sensors replaced, immediately after they touched it my car drove terrible wobbling, a couple weeks later had a low tire found out that they were installed and they didn t map them to the right tires.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! They threw my tire on a lot of softball bats and softball bags instead of puttin the tire back where it goes!!! They are lazy and unprofessional!!!!

Found a great deal on a set of tires for my 2019 F150 so I took a chance on Walmart to mount/balance them. Bad idea-I had no scratches at all on any of my rims but when they were done, there were scratches on all 4. I ve used the machines before that they use to mount tires. It is relatively easy to do the job without scratching rims using that equipment but the tech that worked on my vehicle obviously could have cared less. My suggestion if you find a good deal on tires go ahead and buy them but take them elsewhere to get mounted. I would pursue compensation against them but know it would just be a huge hassle, not worth my time. Last time I do business here.Service: Auto tire replacement

This is a review for the Shawnee walmart auto care. I was weary about taking my car to Walmart for maintenance but I figured that they could at least handle balancing tires. I was wrong. My steering wheel was vibrating, and i knew imbalanced tires can cause this. I dropped it off, it was serviced and was told i was good to go. After I picked my car and was speeding up to merge onto the highway, the vibrations started again so I decided to go back to Walmart and tell them that my tires hadn't been balanced properly.The manager was called and was adamant that my tires had been balanced and he had done it himself. I told him I'd just driven it and they weren't balanced at which point he got defensive. It sounded suspect. The vibration hadn't reduced at all. I was sure it hadn't been done properly so after that, I drove to the Shawnee Discount Tire for a second opinion.The technician I spoke with was very friendly. I told him my situation, and I asked him if they could check that my tires were indeed balanced. Surprise, surprise, they hadn't been. The so called manager of the Shawnee walmart auto center had lied. I doubt he knew what he was doing. Not only did they confirm my suspicion that my tires hadn't been balanced, but they also offered to balance my tires for FREE. I asked them to provide a slip of the weight before and after balancing for evidence that my tires hadn't been balanced. ALL of them were off. None of the tires had been balanced. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE SHAWNEE WALMART. A shady mechanic not only puts your car at risk, but also yourself. If I could give zero stars, I would

Great place to get my tires, ordered through the app, best price, they installed in a acceptabletime, I came on a spare and they put in place without telling them, pick up feels great, perfectly balanced, and i would defenatelly recommend too the Mudclaw mid tires too

I've used Walmart Auto Center three times so far this year for tires and a new battery. The wait time is a little long in the afternoons, so be prepared to wait one to two hours. Otherwise, the one time I went in the morning was pretty quick, so I would recommend you go then if you don't want to wait as long. The service was done in a professional and courteous manner.

First time I came in I was told a very long wait time and given no apology or anything for using my time to drive there. The wait time would have interfered with my work schedule. When I brought my truck back I was stuck in the lobby for at least 6 minutes with no one there. I would have gone out to ask for someone but the door locks from the inside. Once again no apology for the wait etc... I called the next morning to see if my vehicle was done and they said yeah they were pretty sure it was, but they didn't check to make sure. None of the experience was pleasant except the price. I don't care if discount tire costs 3 times the amount. They deserve my service and will always get it now that they have opened. Very disappointed :/

Went to get a battery tested the woman at the desk was very polite and kind. Did her job efficiently and right. She was very kind and helpful. Now getting out of Walmart with MY battery was another thing.

One of the worst ever,..charged for a service I asked for, paid for the service, ..to find service ..was not done...went back in...kindly, asked for a refund of paid for services...not rendered...and you'd think I was trying to rob them?... After 7 minutes and 7 different Walmart employees, ..I interrupted and again..asked for the refund...auto dept started acting like a twelve year old who got kicked off his Xbox, got louder, and slamming his hands, called me a few names....because I didn't have time..to listen to their poor excuses why it did not get done, and why I was still charged.poor excuse for management and business, very ugly scene due incompetence and ignorance!..

Went in to buy a battery for my old Toyota 4x4. All the usual suspects (AutoZone, Advanced, NAPA...) all wanted $120 or more. A quick Google search led me to Wal-Mart, which had the battery I needed, IN stock for 59 bucks (with the core), that's my kind of pricing! I even bought a replacement battery clamp. All for close to 50 bucks less than "the other guys". Car batteries aren't rocket science, basic lead acid batteries have been around since they put batteries in cars so I really didn't want to spend 130 bucks on something that has 3 parts, none of which are made from anything rare or complicated. So, if you need a basic battery, I recommend checking what Wal-Mart has in stock and maybe save yourself a few bucks for gas.

They were fast and efficient! We came in needing tires, a new battery and an oil change. They had our car in and out in less than an hour. Thank you Walmart.

First time I went to Walmart to get a tire changed was a different location but it took forever! Today I needed a new tire so I went to Shawnee Walmart. I thought I be smart and call ahead. But nobody at Walmart will answer their phone even after several attempts and calling every department the Walmart automated directory listed. Let's just say, it takes forever long to get any service. I would not recommend going to Walmart to get a tire changed or fixed. You will be there forever long! Go to a small local tire shop and support the small business man instead who won't take forever long to change a tire ( or all they can get all 4 fires off and chs ged then out back on in less than 30-40 minutes) compared to Walmart 1-2 hours just to change 1 tire and they will treat you better and give you better pricing deals.

I went to get my tire fixed, was told i needed a new one and it would only be $70 plus tax. They could definitely tell i didnt know much about cars due to the lack of information I had on my vehicle, and Im pretty sure they took that to their advantage. I ended up spending almost $120 so now im overdrafted, thanks walmart

Never got oil change due to poor management and lack of knowledge. Do not waste your time and go to another location other than Shawnee.Update. I would avoid all Walmart Automotive Centers.Service: Oil change

I recently ordered two tires and had them put on. I received very good service. I had a TPMS that was bad. I had an odd one that Wal-Mart did not carry. I picked one up at the parts store. They installed for me for no charge. My wait time was not too long either. I will go to WalMart again for tires.

For work do, there use common sense example if have over size tires there don't put on small because some book said so. Over walmart does only tires oil and batteries, with with bulbs you self help. But some walmart just plain can't get any thing right this one in Shawnee is good one.

The mechanics were very very rude and unprofessional. I got there a few minutes after they closed because I had a flat tire that needed fixed, and immediately the mechanics started yelling at me that they were closed and then began to rant about another car that they already had to work on. I was embarrassed by their blatant rudeness and disregard for customer service. I'm usually easy to please but I will not be going back.

For a chain store to do four new tires and an oil change and do it in an hour is great....if i needed actual mechanic work i would go to a shop not a tire and lube thats like going to mcdonalds for a prime rib duhService: TiresService: Tires

Couldn't sell me tires because of check engine light and then tried to charge me $40.00 just for having to walk to my car and back. Never again!!

Went in for a oil change. Now my car leaks oil. Never leaked before. Will not take my car back. Poor service
