Grant and the team at Shawnee Pit-Stop have went above and beyond for me! They are straight to the point and not out to get your money or take advantage of you. They genuinely care and explain everything to you in a way that it will make sense. I m super glad I found them. I would recommend them to anyone!! Best of the best!

Getting my oil changed has never been so quick and easy. The staff is always so friendly and helpful! The mechanics even stayed late one evening to get my keys when I had to have my car towed in. The office staff is great, too!

The mechanic was polite, professional, and a little bit funny. He was nice too. He repaired my vehicle quickly. There was not any surprise costs. He did let me know of a problem that I was already aware of. The waiting area was clean and warm, that was nice on such a cold day. The receptionist was friendly and engaging. I have been here several times already. Each time I left, i was satisfied with the job done. Definitely going back for future repairs if needed.

Shawnee Pittstop is an honest auto repair shop that does quick work for a fair price. Charged me hardly anything for labor and got my part changed ahead of schedule! The two people instead were very nice and offered coffee and even partially refunded us when we decided to leave our old part with them! Highly recommend!

There should be an option for no stars!!! I have already started telling everyone I know and will continue to tell everyone not to go here!! I went to get an Alignment done and the lady behind the desk told me without telling ( her wording, look on her face, her body language) they would find more wrong! Little did they know my car just got a full Diagnostic check up at the dealership. They tried to tell me I needed new Control arms. Well got a second opinion at Fred's and nothing was wrong with my control arms. So Fred's got my business and money!!

Spent a hour or so hanging out while Grant McCray fixed my car. Then explained everything that was fixed to me personally. As always it was great to have a mechanic I can trust.

Less than one star! I had my car brought there thinking they would at least be honest, they did NOTHING!! My car still won't run and they charged me $400 to do something I had already done! Now I'm stranded on the side of the road thanks to these crooks! DO NOT GO HERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A SINGLE PARENT, THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!

They are horrible!! They will find a way to screw anyone!!! Everytime I go to get my oil change they say I need New Breaks on my car. My husband checked them and they are just fine.

I wanted write this review after some of the aftermath of my visit and look at the situation retrospectively and with a clear mind. Let me start with what my services were: Oil Change, Brake Service, Axle Replacement.Oil change was fine.The Brake Service was interesting.They initially surfaced my rotors and replaced my pads. The next day or two I notice a grinding noise that was not their prior to the Brake Service. I go in they tell me if it keeps happening bring it in. Next week goes by and the grinding noise has not subsided. They proceeded to tell me they cannot find anything and they believe my CV axles were not in great shape. Admittedly, they look a little rusted but the boots were not completely busted. After this I am $800 in after the oil change, brake service, and axle replacement. The noise continues. I take it back in and Pit Stop says they cannot get back in for another week. I am usually pretty patient, but I feel both sides were losing their patience. I drive the next day or two and one morning on the way to work the car makes this terrible grinding noise and awful smell. I take it to the another mechanic where I live and they said they installed the wrong axle. I am unsure how this is even possible considering the splines would not match upon install. With this I was about fed up with Pit Stop and they had to tow my car back to Shawnee and they told me they installed the right axle and blah blah blah. I am unsure of who was right and who was wrong. I just wanted my car to work without unusual noises. After all of this the subtle grinding noise still existed. Pit Stop proceeded to tell me once again they could not get me in for another week or two. I could tell they did not want me to come back at this rate. I said okay and scheduled my appointment for next availability. I went to the another mechanic to get a second opinion.The second mechanic in Shawnee told me immediately that my passenger side rotor was warped after 10 minutes of driving the vehicle. How could Pit Stop not tell my rotor was warped. Granted, I did not know either but I do not have the equipment readily available to check such a thing, Pit Stop does. So I had the second mechanic do whole new brake service for $250 this included rotors and pads. I asked for my old rotor back and pads. You could see where the warp was on the rotor. Just to make sure I took the rotor to work and friend of mine chucked it up and it was 10/1000ths out. If you are unaware of what that means, a rotor can warp at 2/1000ths runout. 10/1000ths is a rather big deal considering that is 5x times out of industry standard. There was glaring spots in the pads where the rotor and the pads were not making even contact.Anyways, I take the pads and the rotors back to Pit Stop and ask for ONLY the labor back for the axles. All things considered I believe that to be a fair trade after all the misery had on both ends. They were very upset that I had went to a secondary source for service and tried to guilt me about having to tow my car back to Shawnee. However, they begrudgingly sent me a check in the mail for the labor.One, I am not going to feel bad for any mechanic or a car service place, ever. They will easily make that money back in a few weeks time swindling the next poor ignorant soul that might walk in. NEVER, let them make you feel stupid or bad for something they did not do correctly.The oil change was painless and lastly I can tell they mean well but only when it is convenient. Grant seems like a stand up guy, if you do happen to get service there I would be sure that he is the one working on your car. The GM I briefly spoke to also seems like an okay guy and very knowledgeable. However, the rest of the staff I am not so sure. The lady at the front desk seemed nice at first but after repeated visits she lost all patience and became rather rude at the end. The other fellas seemed okay, but could not tell.TL:DRIf you need an oil change, go ahead. Anything else? I would probably take the time and learn how to do it yourself.

Oil Change and air filter replacement. Fast and reasonable price. Needed tires rotated and was told at Quick Lube it was next door but by appointment only. Went to the shop and asked Jason if he could get to it without an appointment, and he and another mechanic did it immediately. Out in 15 minutes. I didn't get done what I wanted.pitstop ripped me off by not doing the job that was quoted. They just turn everything around I try to get explanation for.I am senior on disability and ripped me.

It's ok they will definitely fix the problem sooner or later but the prices are astronomical!!! Just for a little oil gasket on my mom's car they wanted $700!!! It was just a valve cover gasket.

I went in and got my oil changed and they were amazing to work with. My oil ended up having a leak and causing some trouble with my car after my oil change. Jason and his workers were so easy and kind to work with. They took care of me and my car in the best way possible. I am so thankful for the work they did for me and will use them the rest of my time in Shawnee.Service: Oil change

This is the only place I go for an oil change when I'm close to home. Everyone that works there, are really friendly, professional and super fast service! Plus every Tuesday is ladies day which means you get a discount for your oil change! I won't go anywhere else for our vehicles!
