Not real good about returning your calls. Will update soon as I get my truck back.

It is taking over 2 months just to get car in to be looked at. Staff was very friendly and helpful over the phone!Edit: Once we dropped off our car with Gerber Collision, everything went smooth! They fixed our car in a timely manner and were very polite and professional!

Went to Gerber collision to inquire (estimate)about the dent in my tailgate. It was reported to me that the repair would be $2495.00. and the off hand comment that a new tailgate would be $150 more. My husband decided to look online and you can buy a brand new tailgate with the camera include & painted for $800. They're easy to remove and replace. We take ours off occasionally for a large load. Also the comment was made is that they would repair all scratches and dents in the tailgate. There is one scratch and a small dent under the 4x4 emblem (see pictures) now maybe if you completely repainted pushed out the dents etc via $2,400 job. But come on a new one for 800 why wasn't that reported to me - pick you up a new one for $800. I feel like that's kind of "what?"

Clean, professional environment. We received timely text updates about progress on our repair from Wayne, which was completed BEFORE promised date by almost a week. Car was clean when I picked up. Highly recommend.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I got rear ended in a Chevy Colorado. The person who hit me had good insurance so Collision Works was well paid. Repair took longer than I expected. 23 days total. Very minor body damage, bumper and a new hitch. For the pros. Paint matches perfect. The body work was perfect. For the cons. Never replaced bed caps as I was told they would. They replaced with shorter ones that exposed damage. I gave them brand name of original caps. Left wires hanging under bumper they replaced. Just a little more care on their part and i would have been satisfied. I am neutral. I won't recommend nor would I say don't go there.

This shop is absolutely the best around Shawnee in my opinion. They are caring professionals who do their very best to ensure each customer and their vehicle is taken care of to manufacturer standards. They offer a lifetime warranty. AND, the keep you updated almost daily as to the status of your repair. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to deal with honest auto body professionals.

Took our car to Collisions and got they most very best customer service! They updated us daily on our car, went out of there way and called insurance company , offered us coffee or apple cider. Most of all the car came back like brand new! They even detailed the car before we got it back , did a wonderful job when theydetailed the car too! Thanks to everyone at Collisions for the Great Service!

They didn t exactly make the original completion date, but it wasn t their fault. Last year, when the COVID virus arrived, the car manufacturers shut down and started making respirators. That made some car parts hard to get. They sent me messages at least twice a week. Very good communication from this business!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Body & Trim, Auto detailing, Paint repairServices: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Body & Trim, Auto detailing, Paint repair

Not a good experience at all. Bad customer relation. Poor work.. Took my vehicle back three times for repairs on the repair and still not right. They had my truck for a month. This work should of been done weeks ago.. Wouldn't recommend this Company to say the least.

I regret deciding to have my wrecked vehicle towed to them. It took a month to repair and while it was sitting in the lot, received a dent which they did repair, but it was on the brand new side of the vehicle that hadn't been hit. Ive taken the vehicle back several times for the body man to take a look at the repairs. Both doors that were damaged, now sound like tin cans when you close them. The road noise is unreal. The tire pressure indicator goes on and off on the tire that took the brunt of the damage first. Ive called and the receptionist usually tells me the person I need to talk to is on the phone and busy or he's not there. When ive just taken the vehicle in, twice, I was told I would need to make an appointment and the other time, a guy did come out but couldn't tell me anything because the guy I needed was busy. By the way, the parking area where wrecked vehicles are hauled to is gravel and full of potholes. This place doesn't seem to put much care into their work or other people's hard work. Go someplace that has time for customers, has great customer service and a neat place for your vehicle.

Car got hit on the Front Passenger side and after Collision works called me and said it was done I was happy that it didn't take very long to repair. But when I came to the shop and seen that they didn't repair a rocker/fender panel and then tell me they didn't overspray the paint onto my hood I instantly seen why it didn't take long to repair. I can only assume that they have a quality assurance problem. They offered to make it right but I am reluctant to accept a redo if they so carelessly did this initial repair.UPDATE: My Chevy Truck got hit while parked and they did an excellent job repairing the body and suspension. I'm changing my stars to reflect my new perspective.

Had used thier services years ago. Stopped by for a quote on my old pick up. They were able to get me in immediately. Entire errand Took less than 30 minutes. Lobby and bathrooms were clean. Employee, Bret, was particularly helpful. While I did not have any work done there this time around, I don't have any complaints about the work they have done in the past.

I have used Collision Works in the past, and my most recent experience just confirms why I will keep using them. The professionalism and responsiveness is top notch. Even more significantly, this company has gone above and beyond what was required. Most companies will stop with the bare minimum. Not here. Each time I have used Collision Works, they have absolutely exceeded my expectations, and I happily recommend them as an extremely satisfied customer.

I brought my 2013 Dodge Charger in 3/1/2017 for rear bumper damage. I got back 3/6/2017. They did an amazing job! The staff was kind and caring. Thank you very much for caring for my baby:). I highly recommend Collision Works.

Plesantly surprised. The level of customer care and professional service is unlike most today. Every other day if not daily updates on progress in addition to calls when unusual circumstances came up. Great attention to detail. Thank you to Ken and the fine people of Collision Works of Shawnee.

Was bought by Gerber Body and Glass, Collision Works did not perform well and things were done poorly. New manager was very helpful and got the rework done as it should have been done the first time.

Got my vehicle back after hitting a buck a month and a half later. When I got it back it made a whining noise and after seeing my oil pressure gauge and battery gauge was fluctuating looked into it further. Pulled my dip stick and found out I had little to no oil in my pickup at all. I started cleaning up under the hood like always because I live on a gravel road and trying to find the cause of the noise well come to find out my motor was leaking oil. Still couldn t find the cause of the noise. When I called to let them know it was making a noise I was repeatedly told that they did not work that far back towards the cab of the pickup. If your a collision center and get a vehicle in do to a collision you would think they would check EVERYTHING from front bumper to back bumper. So now I had to pay for another tow from my house to get it to a dealership because of the motor leak. Need I say it s a 2019 Silverado with less than 60k on the mileage and no reason at all why it would leak oil now when I was never a single quart low before the collision. Would never take my vehicle to them again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I initially thought I was having a great experience at Collision Works. You know the drawings for reviews and free drinks are great. After picking up my car the first time and finding the check engine light still on they kindly got me a rental car. The next day after taking the rental car back I found the check engine light still on. At that point they told me the engine light was my fault because I was overdue an oil change. I insisted they at least run the codes (guess what...same code as before nothing to do with my oil). I offered to go get my oil change but wanted something in writing from them saying they would take my car back if it wasn't the oil. They were rude about me wanting something in writing and scrawled something on a yellow note pad sheet. My mechanic/oil change place also checked the codes. And said take it back it's not your oil. I took my car back and again they got me a rental car. It's now about a week later and my car ended up at Joe Cooper. It's now fixed and the issue was an after market sensor that Collision works had already replaced and claimed was a Dealer part... what does that say?!?! How do you tell a person A. That the issue was my fault B. They flat out told me when I was standing there that they had replaced that sensor twice with a dealer part so there was no way it was bad.Full disclosure I was overdue for an oil change, in appearance the body work looks good. No complaints on body work but I will never go with them again because I felt they were being deceptive and rude.

This is an absolutely great company I would highly recommend them. They replaced a faulty part they had repaired a few months ago. It only took them about 30 minutes. No charge to me because it was under warrenty. Not only did they repair fast, they vaccumed my floor and cleaned the windshield and wiped down the dash. They always go above and beyond.

This the third or fourth time we have taken vehicles to Collision Works . As always, very happy with their work, process and information flow. Will use them again when the inevitable accident happens.

Is the best. They make it easy. From the moment you walk in the door until the moment you pick up your car repaired to original status, you know your in good competent hands.

I only had to rate a star to post a review. Had very poor work done and now the pieces they fixed are falling apart. They are refusing to fix the saying I hit something. I will never use them again. Now know why everyone told me to go to Steve's Body Shop. I Rate them a 0 definitely not a 1.

Collision Works has been in business since 1996, and has maintained steady growth because we demonstrate good business practices, and an effort to go beyond normal limits to assist our customers. If you have read the negative review listed by lisakeel1, then please take a moment to read the following response. Collision Works feels that the other side of the story with this particular customer should be heard.First: With regards to the customer s seat belt: The insurer, NOT OUR COMPANY, refused to pay to fix her seatbelt since the customer drove dirt roads, and the seatbelt was found to be full of dirt and grime; hampering its ability to work properly. Collision Works even made an attempt to clean and lubricate the seatbelt gear to attempt to resolve the issue for the customer. The customer was not asked to pay for our time and effort to diagnose an unrelated problem, as any dealership service department would have required. With damage to the right side of the car, and a seat belt not operating properly on the left side of the car, the customer was informed that if it was not accident related, and not related to the dirt and grime, then the improperly working seatbelt should be covered under warranty on a car with approximately 10,000 miles on it. The customer apparently would not authorize the potential cost that she might have endured to have the dealership diagnose the issue, in fear of being given the same diagnosis that we performed for FREE.Second: The customer complains of pop in the speakers, which should be clarified to say a complaint of a soft-drink spilled onto the speaker, when the accident occurred. Collision Works performed an operation of removing the speaker, and attempting to clean the speaker as the insurance company also authorized and paid for. A new speaker was not authorized due to the fact that there was no breakage, or improperly working parts. Another detail which is not mentioned was the fact that the shop repeatedly made contact with the insurer to help secure a new radio which was ultimately purchased for the customer, by the insurance company.Third: The customer s door worked properly and looked good, and was compared to another identical non-wrecked vehicle, and found to be shutting and operating as good or better than the other vehicle. As far as the trim being re-attached with black sticky stuff , the customer was informed that we used industrial strength 3M double sided tape, which is very similar to what manufacturer s use in the attachment of moldings. She was also informed that if after we re-attached the molding for the 2nd time, the molding would still not hold, then we would pursue the insurance company to secure payment for a new molding. Finally, anyone in business can attest to the fact that you cannot please everyone , and customers who are upset are far more likely than those that are happy, to make their voice heard. While we regret that there are ANY CUSTOMERS who did not walk away from their experience with Collision Works with a positive experience, we feel that it is important to state the fact that we can provide hundreds upon hundreds of positive references. We appreciate each and every customer who walks through our door, and strive to provide a quality repair, within a timely manner, for a fair price. We welcome further comments, and as with lisakeel1, we stand behind each and every repair that we perform.
