Way better than Hibdon! We were traveling across country when we got a screw in one of our tires. Stopped at Hibdon because they were close, but still hadn t even been acknowledged by staff after about 10 minutes. Called Fred s and explained what we needed and spoke to Bryan S. who said they d get us in the second we pulled up . True to their word they had us in instantly and Timothy got the tire off, patched, and back on in no time even with extra work to get the tire off since we didn t have the hex key. This was absolutely amazing service and so reasonably priced. Thank you Fred s! You saved our vacation!

I had used these guys for batteries in the past and was satisfied with their service. Today however was a different experience. Was quoted $50 for an oil change of I brought my own filters and oil. When I went to pay out it was $187. I was told that I was being charged an extra hour labor for changing my fuel filters. It takes MAYBE ten minutes to change those filters. I usually do all this myself in my driveway and it takes me less than an hour. These guys had my truck up on a lift for over an hour and a half. In that time, nobody ever mentioned to me that an extra ten minutes worth of work was going to more than TRIPLE THE PRICE I WAS QUOTED. If they had I would have told them not to do it. Poor, slow service, blatant and unapologetic price gouging, and the clerk that I was voicing my concerns to continually interrupted me. Very unprofessional and sour. Service manager wouldn't even come to the phone, guess he doesn't have the stones to be called out on their dishonesty. I understand that everyone has to make money, but this is just outright thievery.In regards to their reply: .6 hours + .7 hours is 1.3 hours, not 1.5. Learn to do basic math. Also just because you can charge 42 minute and 36 minutes "by the book" doesn't mean you should. Skinning repeat customers for every dime possible doesn't keep them coming back. Those filters take less than 10 minutes to change. Hiding behind book rates is the crutch of a hack mechanic shop. What y'all did, though technically correct, was dishonest and shady. I'll not be returning and I will continue to caution everyone to refrain from doing business with you.

Brought them a Tahoe to align the frontend when I leave I one of there employees at a stoplight digging through my console I left it go they call me back and say I have a bent steering knuckle and I say well can you fix it they say we can but we DONT want to are you kidding me I take it somewhere else and nothing was bent at all this place is a JOKE do not go here there LAZY PEOPLE and LIARS

Would not recommend Fred s showed up the Pryor day to sit in there for 4 hours for them to tell me they couldn t get too me and too show up the next day at 8am first come first serve so they said sat there from 8:15 am to 1:30pm after about 10 other people had been taken care of and sent on there way I went in for a simple alignment no kind of management or leadership bunch of guys there for a paycheck and careless about customer service will not be back!

Took my car here for new tires and an oil change. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. My car had a little boo boo while there, and Fred called and explained what had happened. It had to stay overnight while it got fixed. They didn't charge for the extra time and explained exactly what had happened. Would recommend as they fixed everything.

If I could give Fred's Tire and Battery zero stars I would. I took my car to them twice on back to back days and my problem was not taken seriously let alone fixed. On the first day I walked in at 7:30am to have my car checked out, aligned and have my tires rotated. By 10:30 I was told that the only guy who could help me with my problem was "running late" and they were " hoping he came in. I left my car there and had someone give me a ride to work. I received a message that my car was ready for pickup and when i called to confirm I also asked to make sure my tires had been rotated to which the lady at the desk responded "oh we forgot". I arrived to pick up my car around 2:30 and was told that there were just some loose bolts and that nothing else was wrong. I didn't even make it a block down the road before the issue returned. I immediately turned around and went back to Fred's. I was told that the guy who worked on my car had already left and That the best they could do was help me the next day. I returned bright and early the next day and dropped it off. A few hours later I was told that my car was ready again and was presented the same diagnosis - loose bolts. I drove the car home and parked it immediately. The next day I left for vacation in the car that Freds told me was "fixed". Upon driving the car, the same issue presented itself for a third time and got increasingly worse. I went to Fred's because I need assistance. If the first diagnosis was that there were loose bolts and they were doing their job like they should, how in the world would the second diagnosis be the same if they had tightened the bolts as they said? I was shooed out the door with a lame excuse that resulted in putting myself and my family in danger.

They were really busy and it took longer than I expected however the staff were very friendly, courteous, and efficient. The prices were competitive to other tire stores on their price for new tires and new batteries. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs tires or other automotive services.

We had our 2nd blowout on our 18 travel trailer on a cross country trip. So we didn t have a new spare yet. I called an RV repair place near us, and they recommended Fred s. They had the tires we needed, and the service was very fast and friendly. It was such a huge relief after a very stressful experience. I don t want to need tires again, but if I did, I d go here first!

I definitely would recommend this place! I started my morning out with a flat tire. I limped my way down to freds. When I entered I was already late a crying about my tire thinking I messed up the rim. They immediately started looking at my tire and talkng in such a calm manner it helped me calm myself back down. Turns out it was just a simple fix! With a new tire back on, I was back on the road in less than 30 minutes and the price was great as well! Five stars to you guys! Thanks so much for helping me out!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Came in August 4th for a alighment. I told them to rotate the tires before doing the alighment so that was I would of had my best tires up front. They didn't rotate my tires they just did the alighment. I drove the truck after they did the alignment and it wasn't right I took it back and told them it was still pulling and asked why they didnt rotate the tires like i instructed. The alighment guy and desk lady said what it doesn't matter if the tires are bad and could do the alighment. They took it back and redid the alighment and then said it'll be fine once you buy new tires. I bought new tires today and my truck pulls worse than it did with bad tires.

This is a bad review! 1st time Went to buy 2 new tires and get an alignment and spent over 500$ and a couple hours of waiting in the lobby only to realize I get 20 miles away and car starts shaking terribly! I pull into my small local tire shop and they throw my new tires on the balance machine and boy these tires were way out of balance. You would think a balance would come with everything when I buy 2 new tires and alignment with Fred s and shouldn t have to ask.2nd time I called and asked them to take care of another alignment on my truck. They told me to be there early in the morning so I could be first for them to get to, so I take off work in the morning show up 30 min before they open and when they open I am told they can t get to me today and that there alignment guys are busy with 12 hour jobs to do. Are you kidding me!? I explain my situation and they don t care at all so here I am giving bad reviews.If you re looking to use a place for alignment I wouldn t use freds.

I understand that this is a very busy place and people have obviously been happy overall with them. The reason I stopped in was because of the glowing reviews; however, the first time I went in was Tuesday mid morning. I needed tie rods, alignment and tires. The very pleasant young lady told me they were very busy that day and to try to be there at opening time for a better chance at quick service. I returned Wednesday morning around 7:20 and was told there were already 4 or 5 ahead of me and it would be afternoon before they could look at it. I acknowledged that it was nearly 7:30 and told the guy that I would return the next day at 7. I returned Thursday before 7am and was the first customer in the door. The guy took my information and keys and told me it could take several hours depending on what they found and availability of parts. I agreed and took a seat. After seeing other customers come and go who came in after me, at 8:30 my vehicle was still sitting where I had left it, untouched. I then asked if it was going to be much longer before they pulled my vehicle in and was told yes , It would be MUCH longer because there were 4 or 5 vehicles ahead of me. I had not been told I was 5th or 6th in line for service, just that MY service might take several hours. I m generally a very agreeable sort of person, but I found this to be unacceptable, asked for my keys and left. I am widowed and live alone on an acreage and not in a position to leave my vehicle for an indeterminate time. I don t have access to Uber or taxi service so I guess I m just out of luck.

All staff is being trained, there is only one guy that knows what s going on. I was told to bring my tires and bead lock wheels in and it took them 1 hour to get to them before being told I would need to come back the next day and when I called they said bring them in as they could get to them right away. Poor leadership and management. Go somewhere else and save money and time.

Very disappointed. I called the day before and they told me I could come in at 8:00a.m and get my AC serviced that day.I checked in, waited a couple of hours, and some guy walks in and asks, "How long will it take to get my oil changed and tires rotated?" The guy says, "Not long, you'll be the next one in." He ended up leaving before me. The lady even told me that it was first come first serve and they don't do appointments, and ended up saying my car most likely will not be seen that day due to many cars ahead of mine.I understand that they are busy but don't tell me they will see my car that day if they can't. I'm going somewhere else where they can guarantee my car gets seen and my time isn't wasted.

Called at 12:30 to see if I needed to make an appt for an alignment. Was told they work first come first serve and after checking, was told they could definitely get me done this afternoon. Went there, checked in, told them I needed front looked at and I had called a little bit earlier. After two hours of waiting, the first in which they only had one vehicle in the massive multi bay facility, they call my me up to charge $30 for a tire rotation and balance. Asked if they looked at the front end, and was told their alignment people were booked up. I would not have invested 2 hours waiting for a wheel balance and rotation if I couldnt get an alignment at the same time. Now I have to take time to go sit and wait again and see if they are booked.

Great service! Impressed with length of employment there. Lead technician has over 40 years with the company and the manager is sneaking up on 33 years. Being a lifelong technician myself, I don't recommend shops easily. However; in this case, I can't recommend them enough. Great job guys!

Sat for 4 hrs for a A/C recharge and watched people come an go. They didn't even start on it. When I asked the counter clerk what's the hold up. I got ignored. When I asked Gary the mechanic he decided I was outta line an copped an attitude. Ik they are better than this. Very poor experience I feel like I should be compensated for time wasted.

So I have to say, I didn't have an appointment for an alignment, but they were able to work me in. Yes, I had to wait, and that was perfectly fine. I was greeted with great customer service and everyone was very professional. Will return if I need any other service done to my vehicle.

Very happy with the service including the $10. coupon I found & cashed in from their web site. Only one concern, since my vehicle is a 2005, not sure how my vehicle will run with a synthetic blend oil that they use compared with the standard oil that older models are [as I was told] made for. I have always experienced excellent service through the years at both businesses!

I was traveling through Shawnee, ok. Had truck issues stopped for gas and wouldn t start. Sooner towing came and got me. I highly recommend them as well. Dropped my truck off at Fred s before they opened. They called me by the end of the business day which was on a Saturday. They had my truck done and was super reasonable. I highly recommend them if you have vehicle issues.

Good work was done on my vehicle but it took a very long time. I was there a little over an hour to have a flat fixed. And I saw at least 3 customer come and go before I was done. Thanks to the technician that fixed it.

Worst service I have ever experienced. They are friendly but their actual service to vehicles is poorly executed. I took my truck to get an oil change before vacation and asked them to top off my fluids. A couple days later I come to find out that my truck is leaking oil all over my garage. I probably would of caught it sooner but my truck sits in the garage due to the fact that I drive my work truck throughout the week. They didn t tighten my drain plug nor did they add a paper gasket to it. Then I checked the fluids I asked them to top off and not a single one had been touch they were the same as they were when I checked them right before I took it in. They could of cost me a lot of money so I will never go back and I warn you not to go. But hey they are nice people I just think their help in the garage is subpar. The picture with the little puddle is after about three minutes of moving my truck back so I could clean up the large pond of oil in my garage. I should of took a picture before I started cleaning.

If I could give more than 5 , I would! Bill at the front desk was the nicest man, who never made me feel dumb with the questions or issues I had with my car. I feel like the prices were very fair, and he was honest and upfront about everything. The technicians even corrected a problem with my car that turned out to be a simple fix. I was so close to giving up on this car, but now I feel like I have almost a new car again. Thanks again, and I will keep coming back here for all my car needs!
