I would give negative stars if I could. In my opinion I would think twice about using this shop for any work you need done. This mechanic did unauthorized work to my car that has now left me without a running car. I ended up having to take him to small claims court and won my case on 3/14/24. In my opinion encourage you to look up Roger Channon on OSCN before you consider this business. Hopefully Roger does the right thing and pays his judgment and pays what is owed to me. If not I will have no choice but to take him back to court to enforce the judgment.

My new fuel filter was replaced with a dirty one that was zip tied on, kept my truck for 6 weeks and after removing my new part still charged me 301 dollars. I m in awe this happens here! Be aware please!

I had a GREAT experience with Roger, & Floyd, at Five Star! I dropped my truck off for brake repair and not only did they repair the brakes, but they took initiative to troubleshoot another issue (vacuum hoses leaking and O2 sensor), and quoted the price to me verbally for repair approval. Quick repairs too! They recently moved to a new location near McArthur rd & Hwy 177 in Shawnee. They went above & beyond my expectations and I hope this review helps you to choose them. Highly recommend !

Well I used this business for many yearsHowever I took my vehicle there by wrecker February the 6th.Took a few parts off the engine.Had it until the end of April by wrecker to my house and my son fixed it himself with my knowledge in 2 days.And it only took us 1 week to get parts.He kept telling me he was waiting on parts.All I know for sure is that he used to take care of business a lot better then he does now.Everything I would go check on the progress he was working on everyone else's cars.Done me very wrong the last vehicle I took there.I do not recommend this businessI used to but not now.

Roger is the absolute best! He is such a respectful and honest mechanic and person! I had contacted Roger back when my aunt s vehicle had been incorrectly filled with diesel instead of regular gasoline. We needed her vehicle to be towed to a shop so the issue could be fixed. Not being familiar with the area at all, he was kind enough to recommend another company since he didn t have towing services on-site. I was SO blown away that he was willing to help us despite knowing that we probably weren t going to be able to give him any business that I was adamant to find a separate tow company to get the vehicle towed to him.He is hands down the most genuine person and will not use his knowledge to rob his customers. Despite being pretty far away from his shop, and having several other car shops closer to us, our family will continue to rely on Roger for all our auto repair needs! He is worth the drive!!! Roger is honest and will tell you if your car needs to be repaired or not based on what you may think is wrong with it. My dad wanted his shocks replaced as he thought there was a suspension issue because of how the truck drove on dirt roads, but upon assessing the vehicle, Roger informed him that the shocks were still in good shape and that the rockiness my dad felt the on dirt roads was common with this particular truck my dad owned. WOW!!! We re so glad we found him and wish there could be more honest men like him in the auto repair industry! God bless Roger!If you re sick of auto repair shops taking advantage of you and want someone who s the best AND honest, give Five Star Automotive a shot. You won t regret it!

The mechanic was friendly, and he did a free diagnostic on my car. He wouldn't accept money when I tried to pay him for it. Great place.

Honest! Honest! Honest I am so glad I found them. Roger is always right on target when diagnosing issues. We have taken three cars/trucks to him and he has been quick, effective and competitively priced. Always get my vehicles back quickly. And did I say honest!!!

This is by far, the BEST place to take your vehicles!!! Great mechanics that are HONEST, better that fair pricing and friendly service! They fixed what the KIA dealership refused to fix without over 9000.00 on the table and did it for nearly half the cost! No one else will EVER touch my vehicles now that I've found Five Star!

Will never call them for anything!..rude and freakin lazy!...has owed me a door panel and kick panel for 3 years has made 0 attempt to replace them after tearing them up....and when I call him after leaving 26 messages he claims he doesn't remember....but his paperwork shows otherwise....NEVER EVER USE THIS GUY...HE IS A LIAR AND 100% UNRELIABLE

Took vehicle in overheating paid $1900.00 for head gasket repair they said fixed drove 12 miles then overheated again took back, thermostat bad, said fixed drove 30 miles then started getting hot took back, repaired manifold gasket, checked on vehicle they said bad radiator, drove it two blocks to mechanic around corner! Going on week 4 out 1900.00 still not fixed! Dishonest, No Honor, and definitely No Integrity! I wish I d read reviews before hand! They can t even look you in the eyes while ****ing You! Find someone else for repair! Trust Me!!!

Roger knows what he is doing when it comes to anything with vehicles of any kind! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Competitively priced, better than any other shop around! His shop can handle everything except for tires, he doesn't have the machinery for that. And he does custom exhaust!

Took about 5 cars to them in the past 2 months first time they got on it fairly quick, second time was slower but the last 3 was terrible. I took a truck down there and they said I needed a fuel pump, then later I needed a gas tank too. The next car needed a computer, then later it needed a fuel pump and it took forever to get it out. They also had a third vehicle the same time as the second and since it took the one so long to get out, I said if they don't have time to work on it I will take it home, but they said no they would get right on it. I checked on it every few days and heard every excuse they could think of, but each time they said they would get it in next. After I heard this for over a month now, I sent a wrecker to take it to another shop.
