While on a cross country road trip from NC to NV to attend Burning Man, the wheel bearing went out on my travel trailer in Shawnee, OK! After a little google searching, I found & called Jerry with Axel Surgeon, and he got me back on the road in less than 24hrs!! I am so extremely thankful for his kindness and willingness to help me out on a Sunday when I was stranded on I-40 halfway to my destination! He connected me with a tow and I was off the highway in less than an hour. Jerry is an honest business man, and let me know the issues that needed to be fixed immediately for safe travel, and informed me of future repairs that would eventually need to be fixed down the road. They repaired both wheel bearings and I had smooth sailing the rest of my adventure to and from Burning Man!You and your business went above and beyond to ensure the rest of my journey with my trailer was safe and sound! We were coming to a big barrel race and lost two bearings on the one side of my tri axle trailer that was loaded down. I called them and he got me in as soon as I got there. Luckily he had everything he needed to repair it. Not only did he repair it he checked all my other bearings, and axles. They went above and beyond to get it finished as we were there for the week! The tech that did the repair was on time and did great work. He was professional and friendly. That is where the experience turned sour. I run a service department for a large equipment dealership. After the repair, the tech asked how we were paying for the service performed. I (obviously incorrectly) assumed that we would have net 30 terms. He informed me that it was due upon receipt, which was not relayed to me when I scheduled the service. I was not prepared to pay at the time, so he left the invoice with me and I forwarded it to our AP department for immediate payment. I got a call a couple of weeks later requesting payment. The caller was accusatory, insinuating that I was attempting to evade payment. His tone and demeanor were rude, condescending, and honestly took me by surprise. It's not like I was personally sending a check as it needed to be processed through my accounting department. I fired back some comments about his attitude and ended the call. I instantly contacted my AP department (not in-house) to ascertain the payment status of the invoice. The check had already been sent but just recently.I attempted to set up another appointment some months later and mentioned the last experience. I offered to pay with credit card on this occasion to avoid a repeat of our last interaction. They refused to do business with me and declined my method of payment.They do great work and if I would have paid the same day, I'm sure I would be a repeat customer. However, after being made to feel like a dead-beat and refused service, not only will I not utilize them again, but I will let anyone who asks know about my experience. It is sad how one person's attitude within a company can change the entire dynamic of a profitable relationship.

I will definitely be recommending this company to anyone with trailer needs. These guys were awesome to work with. They answered every question I had about my newly purchased gooseneck gravity tilt lowboy. I got the trailer in order to haul my 10,000# Compact Track Loader safely. We combed through the trailer inch by inch so we could locate and eliminate any weak points the manufacturer used to bring down costs in order to be more competitive.

Amazing people. They helped even on their day off when the store was closed. We were able to get new leaf springs after our trailer's snapped. Helped us so much when we had no other options available! So kind, highly recommended!!!

They were the only place around I found that had a welder and could accommodate my tractor trailer. Took them a minute to get to me but reasonably priced, friendly and helpful, and even though they are axle repair or replace shop, still took the time to help. Even offered to put new mudflap and bolts on for me if I would have had them with me.

These guys are amazing and honest. Brought them a trailer axle I thought needed a spindle replacement. They removed the frozen bearing, cleaned it up and told me not to replace it. Everything checked out within tolerance.

These guys are awesome and know what they are doing. We had a broken axle on our travel trailer when we arrived at our RV park in Oklahoma City. We called several places. No one got back with us or did so until 2 days later.We called these guys, told them what we needed. Said they would have it for us the next day. They did. And delivered it to us!We are so grateful for Jerry and Justin. You guys Rock!! Thank you so much for helping us get back on the road again!

Axle Surgeon has helped me on a few projects. This time they fixed up my L9000 dump truck that almost had a brake/bearing failure. They went out of their way to find the right parts and making it more affordable. I couldn t ask for more. Down to earth and straight to the point. These guys are great! I had a bearing go out on my truck that ruined the spindle. They sent a guy out first thing the next morning and cut the old one out and had a new, better one in after just a couple hours!Hope I don't have this problem again, but if I do, I hope it's near this shop.

Saved thousands calling here and getting advice on our cattle trailer. Highly recommend this place because instead of saying "yes you need new axles" and making money off us (like the other shop we had called), they actually explained everything to my husband and told him what needed to be fixed. I had been paying for repairs on my rear end for a year. The guy I was using was screwing me. The team at axel surgeon in Shawnee fixed my truck in less than 2 days and helped me out on the price. Also the truck has ran smooth ever since. I highly recommend these guys. Thanks you guys very much. Just had my steer axle and a spindle serviced by these guys. Jerry was upfront from the 1st phone call up to when I got my front end put back together. They did what they said they would do and showed up when they said they would. If you need a shop to tear down your equipment, Jerry will send you to the right place (which I'm also impressed with). Definitely hoping to be able to use them again when the time comes. Top shelf service from beginning to end.

These guys went out of their way to come fix my trailer axle when I was loaded with beef headed for California. He had even called other guys to see if they could get to me before he rearranged his work orders to fix me up. Was ahead of time for appt and did an excellent job on my trailer and getting me back on the road. Can t recommend them enough 75 stars

Outstanding customer service. The techs took me through the process that would be done on my steer axle. I was relieved to find a shop that could do everything I needed done and for a very fair price. Just had your tech Justin finish a spindle replacement on my trailer.I am hauling gear for a top name band on tour and as you might guess time is of the utmost importance.He showed up at the Loves in Hinton OK. and went immediately to work.I had never seen this done before and he impressed the hell out of me with his skill precision and professionalism. He completed the job quickly and cleanly. Very impressive. Thanks to Justin and Axle Surgeons of Ok. the show will go on as scheduled.!!

Great company with a very honest and knowledgeable personal! They guided us all the way though our project. They even had one of the employees come up to the shop and help install and place components in the proper places. They saved us a lot of time and money. Highly recommend them!! Thanks Jerry.
