Came into town to do LS swap on my truck, took a week off and just got back from 3 years in Japan. Got everything working and the old 93 4L60e decided it did not want to play anymore. I was in a pinch and had 24 hours to get it fixed before I drove 800 miles to my next duty station. After some searching and many calls I found John s Transmissions and he managed to hook me up with a transmission in a matter of hours spent all night on it and got everything hooked up tested it the next morning and then drove 800 miles no problem. I highly recommend John they build quality transmissions with quality parts. Go stop by John s for your Transmission issues he knows what to do!Service: Transmission

Found John's transmission on FB market place. Went to his shop and talked about what would the best choice for my transmission. He was very nice , friendly and fast . Would suggest anyone with transmission problems to give him a call. And he has a BADASS 32 coup

John seems to have alot knowledge on transmissions and also passionate about his work. Seems to build a transmissions as if they were his and being put in his vehicle. Dropped off my transmission today. Keep you all posted! UPDATE: I'll just have to give a update and 5 stars. John did a great job on my tyranny it never worked better. Shifts correctly no problems at all. When I picked it up it looked brand new, very clean. I am very pleased with the job he did and I am very very happy. I highly recommend John for anyone's transmission needs. Go by and see him, tell him Joe sent you.

I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing transmission work done he was honest and didn't try to raise the cost more and even shared some awesome tips on how to install it since I was having a friend do the install I definitely will be taking my escalade next for him to rebuild the transmission too

I had some transmission work done last year, around this time for my 4r60w out of my F150. I wanted to wait a bit before writing my review to see how this have operated. I will say John, you did a fantastic job, at a reasonable rate. My transmission was damaged pretty bad and he was able to fix it at a very reasonable rate. So good I drove from OKC. If ever need work done in the future I will be coming back.

Had him rebuild the 4L65E from my 2005 Trailblazer. 3-4 Clutch pack had failed, but with 208K miles it was shifting soft before it failed anyway. This man does quality work at a great price. Did take a little longer than quoted but within reason. He explained all the work and used top quality parts. Trailblazer shifts great now. Wanted to wait until I'd put around 2000 miles on it, and it has performed flawlessly. Great mechanics will take some time because they have a backlog of work to get through! I'd rate him 6 stars if I could!Service: Transmission

Ok so it's been about a about a year and a half or so now and the transmission work that was done is still holding up with no problems. 2003 trailblazer. Hauled some loaded down trailers Cross country twice since then. Made some big road trips no problems. Good work at a good price.

I had a 2003 h2 hummer transmission rebuilt by them it didn t last 4 months and then they left all 4 of my O2 sensors disconnected I called them to discuss then issue never heard from not to mention they had my truck for over 3 months, terrible service you have been warnedService: TransmissionService: Transmission
