Called up because my son hit a curb and it messed up his tire, I m in Tulsa so I can t get to him quickly, they came out within 30 minutes and got him a new tire on and got him back rolling. I appreciate them and the price was very fair. Highly recommend this company for any vehicle needs.

I showed up 15 minutes before they closed. I felt terrible but they were gracious and stayed late to fix my flat. Super thankful for them. Kind, understanding and quick!

Being new to Ponca City, I was needing a reliable, honest auto repair shop. Come to find out Take 10 of Ponca City is not your reliable, honest auto repair shop. I had my vehicle towed to their shop to have the transmission replaced. I supplied the transmission. Unfortunately, that transmission was no good and they had to install a second transmission. Having to have to install a second transmission was of no fault to Take 10. I wanna make that clear. My problem comes with this. When I set up the appointment, I told the service writer you re gonna have to replace the battery. It s dead. They replaced the battery also charged me $132 to replace the battery, they had to remove the battery in order to remove the transmission. Why did you charge me $132. When I got my vehicle back it had a water leak. It did not have a water leak when it went in. I took it back to them and they charge me $123.saying that there was two hose clamps that started leaking and needed to be replaced and they did not charge me labor but charge me a diagnostic fee. Being a person that has ran repair shops in the past.I am aware that little things like this happen from time to time. I also know that my customer just spent $3100 in my shop. So if all I needed to do was put two cheap generic hose clamps on his vehicle and a little antifreeze , why not give it to your customer are you that hard up for money. Also with me getting my vehicle back with a water leak that was very obvious tells me that the shop did not inspect the final work and road test my vehicle. Also, the two hose clamps that were leaking coolant were right next to each other and located directly above the transmission. There is absolutely no way that the mechanical could remove the transmission with without messing with that hose so if you wanna be taken advantage of I made the feel like you just got the shaft then go see those friendly customer satisfaction driven folks at Take 10 Ponca CityUpdate as of 1/22/2024I received the standard replace that all can read below.No one has tried to reach out to me in anyway.I have not seen any kind of a reimbursement for the incorrect charging on my invoice.Not two months prior to them doing the transmission in my vehicle they did a transmission swap in my wife s vehicle and did an excellent job.I was on the road working when they called me to tell me my vehicle was ready I took them out the word for the amount that was owed without looking at the invoice that is 100% my fault I will never make that mistake ever again.Because of the prior great job they did I really did not think I needed to second-guess the Hometown folks that did me right the first time .

Take 10 reviewAunt took her car in for brake job, then it turned into oil leak fix, and a diagnostics to find out why the AC was leaking Freon. Take 10 stated there were no leaks present after refilling it, 3 days later no ac... We've taken the car back for the brakes because you have to push them to the floor to stop the car. They say the brakes are fine, and according to my aunt they put something on them to help. We also took it back for the AC because we already knew there was a leak, but didn't know where. They said it was the AC Condenser, and wanted to charge us another "Diagnostic" fee claiming its a different issue then before. Granted, take 10 did fix the oil leaks(as far as we knew of), there was a hose that needed to be replaced that apparently they didn't notice, going back to the brakes... They still are having issues, I would love to take it back for a 3rd time but I'm afraid they're going to charge me once again for a diagnostics fee cause its not "their work". When someone takes their vehicle into you for inspection and told you the issue, and you claim there isn't any but when you're proved wrong you charge them again? That is absorbed. Other local shops would not charge you a fee if its a "different issue" If your certified mechanics couldn't find the issue the first go-around we shouldn't have to be liable to pay them again because they missed something. I also took my moms car in there for a pre-trip check. Ended up having to pay for an oil change that I didn't even ask for, nor agree to we know the car was burning oil, and needed new gaskets. $500+ To replace them simply isn't an option considering we're still paying for the 2k worth of work to the other car... I was going to submit this a while ago, but I decided to wait because our brakes are still acting up and we were going to get new tie rods so they didn't charge us for something we already know we needed because they're always trying to get money. on 3/16/2024. We had our car worked on by Community Care Auto Repair, shoutout to them. They're a lovely group of people. They replaced our sparkplugs, and along with that they found out that someone messed with the valve cover gasket did not replace them, just put sealant on it and it was leaking oil. Take 10 replaced not only the Oil Gaskets, but the Valve Cover Gaskets/Gasket Sets when it was taken there for November. I would not take your car their for any major car repairs. $1395 for labor and didn't even do it properly... Or replaced it.

I brought in a carry in, Just a rim with no tire on it, and a new tire. to get put on the rim and they charged me $30 bucks for a carry in! The Time before that they changed me $20 for two tires to get put on. So I went back thinking the same thing. Well there Won't be a next time this time.I'll Just got to Walmart it's only 15 for a carry in. And 25 for a warranty. But I hate using Walmart I rather use a local business but not if they are gonna price gouge !!!! Smh.

Amazing tire service center. I called to order tires on April 11th, the tires arrived on April 12th and were installed on April 13th. The service center picked up and returned the car during my daughters' work shift. The entire process was smooth, including the rebate process that Shelly so graciously helped with. I would return to this service center. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

I was in Ponca City yesterday taking care of some business, and my tire pressure light came on. Of course it was raining. Take Ten was suggested by some ladies there in town, and I am so glad they sent me there. They checked out my tire, found the issue, and had me on my way in about 30 minutes. The gentlemen I spoke to were polite and friendly. The waiting area was nice and clean. Overall it was a great experience.

Good service the shop guys were super sweet and answered my questions and fast. But the short guy with a beard at the front is a horrible person. He called the shop on speaker and spoke to him, no way a manager should ever speak to an employee. And basically made a scene to embarrass him. I give respect to the employee. He kept his cool and responded correct. I won t come back cause I don t agree with how the employees are treated. I won t support that.

Horrible experience, was told 15 to 20 minutes on the phone for a coolant flush at the quick lube. Waited 30 minutes while I watched 10 employees stand around on their cell phones waiting on one trained guy. Never got a flush. Would not recommend.

Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They went the extra steps to ensure I was satisfied with my service. Not to mention the same service was half of the price compared to the GM garage in town. I'll definitely be taking our other three trucks ther for service from now on. Great job Take Ten!!!

Very nice and are very helpful. I had tires sensors balance & alignment fone on my vehicle. They did it in s shorter time than most and notified me of any problems that they found. The ones whom change oil have always been respectful & do their job very well. Will recommend to anyone. Felt very well taken care of and not like they were just trying to ger your money. Very nice ppl whom are very good at what they do

I went to Take 10 for an oil change. The guys that worked there were very polite and quick! Everything went so quickly and smoothly, very painless! They advised me of any issues they noticed but did not push me to make unnecessary purchases. I will definitely use their services again. I don't know the going price on oil changes but I did feel the price might have been a little high but for the quick, efficient, polite service I received I felt it was worth it.

Great customer service!! We were from out of town and had a tire blowout on the turnpike. Our ETA was showing us arriving at their shop 30 minutes after they closed. We called, and without hesitation, they offered to stay late and wait for us to get there! I can t say thank you enough! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area needing tires!

On Monday, July 12, 2021, I left my office to discover a nail in my tire. A coworker drove me to Take Ten. The business was closed, but the guys fixed my tire anyway. They were professional, understanding, and very quickly made the repair. This made the guys late in taking care of their own after-work responsibilities, and I'm grateful to them for taking care of me. My family is relocating to Ponca City, I'm living in a hotel for now, and have no knowledge of services here. Take Ten went the extra step to help me. That us truly great service. Thank you guys! We all make mistakes, it s what is done to make it right that matter the most. My husband took my Kia Sorento for an oil change on Saturday, after it was done the oil pressure light turned on and it wouldn t accelerate. They were notified and agreed to fix it. It was unfortunate cause we had plans that weekend that we had to cancel. Later that day they did provide us with their Ford Fusion however on Wednesday I noticed the ac wasn t working so I took it back to them. I handed someone the keys and had me waiting with out an update until I had to ask(Mind you I had my kids with me) They offered me the courtesy van( the one with all the stickers) and was told it s safe for the kids which I refused to drive. I honestly felt like I should have been provided an adequate rental from the beginning at that point. After waiting and hour and a half for the Fusion to be fixed they got me a minivan rental for one day, which I was content with. I was without my vehicle for 6 I m just glad to have it back but I don t think I will go back again.

Had to get all new tires, Wheatie was very helpful and friendly with getting me set up. Price was fair for the tires. Work was done fast and car feels better than when I bought it. Would recommend to anyone who needs tires. Will be going back for future oil changes/alignments/etc.

I love Take Ten, the service is top notch, the employees are friendly. They've always done their best to get my vehicle done in the timeline I needed (within reason). They are the only mechanic I use!

When I came here the front staff was very nice super helpful just super busy. Not saying that's a bad thing but if you need a quick fix I'd call highway 60 they did my rotors and brake pads the same day as my call. (updated reveiw)

I have been taking my car to Take Ten for years! They have very kind and helpful staff that really look out for you and save you money when possible. I great appreciate that they take care of my whole car, not just oil changes and fluids. They've changed my tires and checked my brakes. Thank you Take Ten for making it a good headache free experience there every time!

8/28/21 It was 10 minutes before closing time, but we just needed an oil change and it was outstanding service, they guys were quick but thorough and made sure the code reader accepted the change being made, had the windshield washed. Definitely love the service and they really love to help their customers get back on the road again

Great service!!! Had nail in back tire! Take Ten had to drive (1 hr each way) to secure my new tires. Ha! Gave me a catch to go back to the hotel & take a quick nap!! They had the New ones on plus rotated the front older tires to the rear in 30 mins! Highly recommend their tire service.

We just left from Take Ten Tire & Lube. We got a flat after hitting a pothole near Brauman. We called them, they had what we needed, and we re in an out in less than an hour. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially in a time of desperation and panic! Thanks for making our anniversary trip a bit better after a rocky start. Highly recommend.
