I haven t even got my car repaired here yet, but I went in yesterday lost on what to do after progressive gave me the run around. Joe took time out of his day to explain how everything worked and even came outside to take a quick look at the damages on my car from an accident. I appreciate his help and will be back when it s time to get the repairs!!

Southside Garage has been the best car repair shop I have encountered here in OKC in the last nine years I lived here. It s disappointing that I found this place right before having to leave Oklahoma in a few months because it would be my go-to shop.Logan did an amazing job. Not only did he fix the issue but he provided top notch customer service with integrity. He ensured that the job was done and done correctly. Thank you Logan for your service. I highly recommend others to give this shop a chance!

They wanted to charge me 1200 on a job that was 300. Automatically, he just started adding all these extra services without getting out of his chair to even look at my vehicle. Shop around first before you trust these guys. Didn't take me 15 min to find a better deal...

The team at Southside Garage are very skilled (especially for their pre-purchase inspections). I depend on them to tell me everything that is wrong about a certain car. and for a PPI, I want them to tell me EVERYTHING (even minor things) and give me an estimate for how much it costs. You can use this to help with negotiating when purchasing a car.PPI costs $50 as of July 2023. They re very thorough and have mechanics with a great eye for any alternations done on cars.*bonus: they have a really nice lobby with refreshments.

Truly a high class establishment. I went in for a strange rattling noise under my car. The young man said he would drive and listen to it. He took it inside their facility and within 20 mins had it fixed, and then DID NOT CHARGE ME. So I bought one of their cool hats. He said it was an easy fix and would not charge. That is a high level of ethics and integrity from a repair shop. One month prior the Toyota dealership in Norman stated it would cost $1900 to fix. I will always refer anyone their, and will take all my vehicles there. Please if you want to be treated fairly and honestly, take your vehicle there. Truly a top notch business.

Went to a quick oil change place the previous day and they noted that my car may have been leaking transmission fluid. Tried to take my car to a dealership only to be told that it would be over $300 just to check it and that none of techs that do transmission were there. Brought my car to South Side Garage after that and they were able to get me in quickly. After about 20 min or so, Logan came out and told me that he and several other technicians took a look and found that the issue was very minor (seeping r/t pressure) and that all of the techs would leave it alone if it were their own vehicles and address it thousands of miles later. They didn't charge me a dime! I appreciated their honesty and will definitely return. Also, they have a nice waiting area, including a place for kids to play.

I drive an hour each way in order to deal with Joe and Dallas. The most honest team I have dealt with in OK and the most efficient! Whether it s a repair or an insurance claim this is the best spot in state!!

Great shop for repairs, big or small! I m from out of state and needed a huge engine repair. These guys were not pushy about it in the least, and made sure every concern was taken care of before the repair took place. I felt confident they would take care of my vehicle and give me a fair price for the service. It s hard to find a mechanic that makes you feel like that these days! Will definitely be bringing my vehicles back for regular service/repairs. Deserve every bit of 5 stars.

I called early Friday morning for an oil change, transmission service, and tire rotation. They said to bring it on in and gave me a reasonable quote. I brought it in and was very impressed. The shop floor was almost clean enough to eat off of. Very professional staff from start to finish. Only took about an hour and half and I was back on the road. SouthSide Garage has worked on my car on two separate occasions now, both times being incredibly reasonable and attentive. Having the check engine light pop on is always dreaded, but they are fair in price and swift in repair! Not only is the garage very nice with a comfortable waiting room, but the work done will be done well. Thanks SouthSide garage!

I have a 2010 Chevy Impala and they been taking care of her for the past 2 years. She runs like a Champ still, won't break your wallet and keeps you informed on everything in your vehicle that might break down or need to change in the future.

They are a trustworthy mechanic shop. Logan did great job explaining what was wrong with my vehicle helped me decide which of the services I needed to get taken care of. The technicians that worked on my car went over and beyond what they were supposed to do, they reattached all of the plastic underneath the car that was hanging off and the cover to my battery which was not even part of the job. I would highly recommend their services. The best part is they do not charge to look at your vehicle like most all of the other shops

Joe and Dallas are the best. Joe worked with me through some complications with my car and got the job done. His prices are more than fair.UPDATE: I returned to Southside for and engine change in my '66 Impala. After Joe did such an awesome job on the control arm bushings/tie rods/ front and rear coil springs, I knew there was only one place to take my car. Again, my car was stubborn and Joe had to fight with it to get things set up right, but Joe got it done. The ol' Sled has a new heart and I can't thank Joe enough for his hard work and dedication to his customers. I've never in all my hot rod years (that's at least 30), had a garage that worked this hard to satisfy their customers, not only in the work, but the price as well. Thanks Joe, you are much appreciated.

They was very professional and good customer service.My truck was towed to there shop for some major repairs in my opinion. Dallas gave me estimate they did great work also it was ready when he said it would be. I ask him to check my heater at the last minute,he didn't have a problem with it. He did some minor thing so now I got better heat then what I had. This shop will be my mechanic from now on.I would recommend this shop to anyone that wants a good honest mechanic and a reasonable price.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

My son had a break down on I-35 in rush hour - his rear tires seized up. His Jeep was towed to SouthSide and they called us the next day with the bad news. It would require a substantial repair not worth the value of the car. We decided not to have it repaired and that the Jeep would become a hobby car. Since my son would be moving out of state in a few weeks, we asked if they could hold the car until we got there to move him. They were wonderful about it. When we arrived to pick it up, the staff helped get the Jeep onto a car hauler for us. We tried to pay multiple times as they not only took up space storing the vehicle for weeks, but also took staff time to load the Jeep onto a trailer for us. Each time we offered, they just told no and that they hate delivering bad news like they had to with us. They were fantastic all the way around and I would LOVE to have their garage close to me. Our family would be life long customers if so.

First, I want you to know that I have no affiliation with this repair shop other than I took my vehicle there for repairs for the first time after encountering some engine issues. The issue could not be diagnosed by a brand name repair shop, and that shop recommended The SouthSide Garage nearby.- 10/10, will recommendI am so thankful that I took my truck to The SouthSide Garage! These mechanics gave it a second life! They went out of their way to help me get what I needed and get back safely on the road.The SouthSide Garage was professional - but also friendly! They were specific and honest when detailing the issues, solutions, and costs. They truly guarantee their work. I can honestly say that I trust this repair shop with any vehicle of mine, and I will definitely return to and recommend this repair shop.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I called this business for my vehicle repairs. I asked the receptionist : I called to see how much it would cost to tow my car and to do a diagnostic. She said it cost $50 for a Diag. She didn't answer my question. The website sponsored on Google says free diagnostic not diag. I had to ask again about a tow. A receptionist is the voice of a business. I wouldn't tow my car here. I don't think anyone else should either

This is my second time using Southside Garage and these guys are fast and reliable. They are very knowledgeable about any car you take to them. As long as I m in Oklahoma, they will continue to get my business. Dallas and Logan are some awesome guys

I had me car serviced on December 8th for regular maintenance. They did a great job. I do not know much about cars, typical woman right? One big thing I noticed, driving away from the garage, my car drove so much smoother. Over the years, this facility has always made me feel very comfortable and respected. The owners are very polite and professional. As a woman, I had never felt belittled or taken advantage of; like so many stories I have heard from other women about their experiences with other facilities. For that, I want to thank the owners and staff. I absolutely recommend this garage and will continue using the service here. Happy Holidays!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Its hard find a good mechanic, so I did some research. This place had good reviews so I came by. The shop is nice and clean, & staff is professional & friendly. I've dropped my car off and got it fixed the same day before. Fair and honest mechanics. Dallas will call you & let you know what service u need to get your car back on the road. They let u know the problems, timeline, and costs & give u options. I bought a car from an individual & they inspected it for me before I bought it. I will always bring my cars here for service.

This was my 2nd time coming to this shop and I've had a great experience both times. Very friendly and helpful staff. They were able to get my car fixed that day both times with a fair price. Would definitely recommend them to anyone living in the OKC area. Plus they have a very adorable dog at the shop. Great service!

I've taken both of our cars here for the last few years. "Bigger jobs" by my standards. They have been really fast every time. I haven't had to take a car back for the same work and that's all you can ask for. 10/10 Highly recommend!
