I recently took my car to Sandy Auto Service in Oklahoma City and I had an awesome experience. The mechanics there were super knowledgeable and fixed my car up in no time. The staff was also really friendly and made me feel welcome. Plus, the prices were reasonable too! I highly recommend Sandy Auto Service for all your auto needs. They definitely know their stuff!

Took my car there to have an ABS issue diagnosed. Received a call that my issue could be one of 30+ modules, and that it can be upwards of 10+ hours of labor to diagnose. I appreciated them calling and confirming before proceeding, but I declined and scheduled to pick up my vehicle.My issue is with the unauthorized driving of my vehicle to-and-from some random red house, 2 different times. I called and was assured that was "Overflow parking", but I have time stamps on all the dash cam recordings and the times suggest otherwise. I could see the driver leaving the front door of the house.Feb. 5th, my car was driven to the house, parked at 7:40am (left running unattended), and taken back to the shop at 7:46am. Feb. 5th, my car was driven to the house again at 4:19pm, and did not leave until Feb. 6th at 6:03am.

Everyone was friendly. John was knowledgeable and always kept me up to date about my vehicle. The best deal for my vehicle and my budget was offered and everything appears to be working well.

This is my go-to auto shop from now on. They fixed my ac within a reasonable time frame and I haven t had any issues with it since. They also took the time to explain how to prevent the issue from happening again in the future. They offer communication via text message and are quick to respond whenever I reach out. And they have the sweetest little shop dog to keep you company while you wait. 10/10 would recommend bringing your car here.Services: Air conditioning, Oil change

Sandy Auto Service provides consistently excellent repair service delivered in a personable and professional manner. John and Phillip deliver what they promise and are extremely good to work with. We became customers during the Pandemic when other repair shops couldn't even look at our vehicle for several weeks, but John got us into the shop right away and had a pretty complicated repair completed in excellent time. They have since worked on both of our vehicles, one a Chevrolet and one a Toyota, with terrific results. I would enthusiastically recommend Sandy to anyone!Service: Air conditioning

Reliable service. Genuinely honest mechanics are RARE. These guys will be honest about issues and not try to sell you things you don t need. Their prices are not the cheapest in town, but for a reliable mechanic who will not rip you off, it well worth it. They have also seen quite a few of my vehicles. Ranging from classic Americans cars, to Japanese cars, even German ones. They are well versed.

If you have a European car, this is the place to take it! Needed a major repairs to my car but they didn't just give me a quick fix, they fixed it correctly. Also guaranteed the work for a year! Staff is friendly and responsive and plenty of updates when they are working on your car. Highly recommended!

I usually don't write reviews, but this place is so bad that I had to actually sit down to write this bit, so other people don't get SCAMMED. They charged me $1.8K to change my steering wheel car sensor, and to add freon. You can google how much this cost on average, and it's $400 for parts and $150 for labor. HOWEVER, they charged me a ridiculous amount for labor, because they couldn't "find" what was wrong with the car. Is it my problem that it takes you a week to know what's wrong with the car? No. When asked about the problem, John said "If I know right away what's wrong with the car, I wouldn't work here." excuse me, this is the person that owns the place. My ac control board didn't have any lights after the repair, I brought it back to ask what happened, to see if they would fix their mistake, their response was "we'll have to charge you, if we open this up to check". I brought my car to a different repair shop, and they said that there wasn't any lights because they connected the fuse wrong..... This place does not have a good knowledge nor the experience to fix cars and they overcharge you if not double, triple, the amount of what it usually cost to get it repaired. If you plan on fixing your car here, be prepared to spend more money after the initial "service" cause there's no fixing here.

I was in a bind the other day when I couldn t get my oils drain plug out of my Jeep..I had furthered the damage trying to extract the bolt myself..it was 95% rounded off when I called Sandys .did I mention that I had already put in a crankcase detergent and I couldn t move the vehicle by its own power.The gentleman on the phone was super professional and even more helpful with offering to call his towing company and setup everything up for me!!They had it done a couple hours later and they finished my oil change for me too!! the price was very appropriate for the work done and I will (hopefully not soon) be back here the next time I need some honest car work done!Service: General repairs & maintenance

John's very knowledgeable but the guys doing the work are not. Iv had 3 cars there last few months and we're finally fixed after taking back 3 times. But the made it good in the end. Great place just need more support for there mechanics

This place is amazing. I have had trouble with a my truck every since I took it to a very well known shop. They are a nationwide corporation who boasts about being the best around. Long story short they messed my truck up big time and could not fix it. They took it to Sandy's because that is actually what most dealers and mechanics do when they cannot fix a vehicle. Sandy's took their time and fixed a very difficult problem and were very prompt and communicated with me the whole time! My truck has never ran this good! He even fixed a problem I had with the sensor in my windshield wiper fluid free because he said "the light in your dash bothered me." This guy is very very good. And I see people complaining about the cost, but take it from me I spent 3 grand for someone to screw my truck up and Sandy's fixed all of their mistakes, you get what you pay for. This is the best mechanic in okc for sure, the dealers know it and even other mechanic shops know it. Just ask around if you dont believe me!

Sandy Auto Service is just about the only people I trust my car to they always give you a fair price and they always correct the issues. Mr Porter is a pleasure to work with, a very nice man! I will continue doing business with him even after I sell this car and get another one.

I just have to give these guys a shout out! I had a flat tire today and just pulled in here bc I was driving by it. I had my kids in the car and didn t know what to do. They stopped what they were doing to change our tire and got us on our way. They didn t even charge us for putting on our spare. They were so nice, professional, and quick. I ll be taking my car here next time so need service. Thanks again Sandy Auto Service!

They did fix ac! That is why I brought it to them. However they charged me for a computer download that they will use on other mercedes vehicles. Not to mention they where driving my vehicle and destroyed a new tire which they made me pay for but they would mount for me.... then when I got my bill it was for $1100 and they never actually put anything in the car except 1/2 pound of freon and a computer update which i stated early that they now own that they charged me for the entire thing. Criminals and I will never recommend or give business to again!

They were able to fix a wiring problem for me that Midas was unable to. The cost of the repair was high but they had to do a lot of work to un-do the failed repairs Midas made. This shop is sophisticated in understanding problems especially those pertaining to the codes produced by electronic engine analysis. They have the equipment other shops lack to analyze a myriad of cars in this way. They do work for dealers who cant analyze all makes and models.They do any type of repair and work quickly.Also, they were able to fix an over-heating problem on my car two other shops were unable to fix. This shop takes time and makes deliberate effort to diagnose problems methodically. They my seem expensive to some customers. I don't know. But in my view they may save customers money by saving them from paying for repairs that do not fix the problem (as I have).

I have been going there for years and have recommended my friends go there. They re a family operation and do great work. They will fix a problem once and from my experience you won t have to come back for same issue ever again. They haven t done any extra work for me without first calling me with the list of what needs to be done and what should be done but can wait. My experience has been a great one. I ve had a car towed from Jones just to have work done here. Highly recommend.

Would give zero stars if I could. Got my car "fixed" there. $763 for nothing. Phillip said he did a buy here pay here, promised to have the vehicle perfectly working before leaving his lot. 3 days later the starter went ou . A week after that, the rear wheel axle messed up, a week after that, the transmission went out. Says he never promised the car would work perfectly, which for a shop, youd think it would work perfectly without those problems.

FIRST AND LAST time I would ever think of using this place for any vehicle repair. Google "Speedy Lube" as well for additional reviews. Everything that you will read is absolutely true. After 3 months, 740.00 dollars and NO DIAGNOSIS as to what was wrong with the vehicle, I picked my car up and trailered it home. Reviews say it all!!

We have finally found a mechanic that we like!! Had a leak in our radiator. He fixed it in a reasonable time period. The price was right. Wish he had a bigger place!!

He told me i needed parts that wasn't true and then charged me $8 for degreaser on my Cadillac. I literally watched their mechanics not Touch my car they sprayed it down with water and called and told me a guess at what they thought it was

These folks are fraudulent, they steal from you, price gorge you, steal catalytic converter from your car, swap parts off your car and sell it back to you My rear bumper was stolen, John is the worse amongst them. Total rip offs.
