I was about two seconds away from a shredded tire and by the time I realized, I was able to scoot over to Richard s from the gas station - The guys were super nice and able to get me two new front tires and an alignment all done within a few hours. They also gave me a couple pricing options. Car is now driving as smooth as glass!Service: TiresService: Tires

Not the cheapest place in town but they are the best quality as far as I am concerned. They honor their work and take the time to give you a detailed explanation. They are a family owned business and treat you as if you are part of their family. It is nice to have a place I can send my daughters to without being afraid they will be taken advantage of. I highly recommend them.

This place is truly unethical. They have a really bad reputation for making you think you need a bunch of work done when you don t. Happened to me, but I declined and went somewhere else and was told I did not need those things done. It s a shame they treat people this way. Read the reviews to see that it is happening over and over to people.

I didn't even go in the store. I called and the man was so incredibly rude, and wouldn't honor my free Goodyear tire network rotation (that I paid for when I bought the tires), so I won't ever be using this car shop for anything. It's too bad because I would've also spent money on a few things like brake inspection, alignment, and a new accessory belt...their loss. I will go to the other Goodyear dealer in Edmond that has 4.6 tlstar reviews!

This is a wonderful family-owned business! I took my car here because it was shaking when I drove it, and it turned out to need a big repair. I wasn't expecting the repair to take so long, and I would have had to wait for hours at the shop with my nine month old baby for it to be done, but the employees kindly offered to drive my son and me back home and pick us up again once they were done with my car. I was so grateful, and my car is all fixed up now!Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Pretty pricey. $1175 to diagnose and replace a starter. Many others quoted under $600 when I checked around afterwards.

These guys have now taken care of three of our vehicles. Whenever we drop off in the morning, it's always done the same day. They do great work, and the pricing is fair. It's obvious they want to earn and keep your business!

If you want rude customer service, THIS is the place!! Had an almost low tire..stopped in and asked if they could add enough air to get me home..man at counter was leaning on counter and barely grunted. It was 45 minutes til closing so guess he didn't want to help some old person. I asked "which bay" and he replied "you can figure it out" as he walked away..i went between bays til a very nice employee hooked up the pressure gage to the hose....he was HAPPY to help. How can they stay in business?? Don't trust them!Service: Tires

Ac issue needed 134a freon charge first quoted 1700 to replace condenser wife said no then they came back with 400 to charge the ac with the cheapest refridgerant. Parts total 104 labor 358 for less than 1 hr labor and didnt even go on the lift. They took advantage of my wife and im currently looking into reporting them to authorities for fraud

I have had a hard time finding a reliable mechanic for larger jobs since I moved to OKC three years ago, but I've definitely found it now! I happened to work close to Richard's and took my Jeep in to have new tires put on. The process was extremely easy and Brandon and Matt were very communicative. I agreed to have my tire sensors replaced because my dash continuously read low tire pressure, but once they found out that the issue was actually my dash computer rather than the actual sensors, they issued a refund for the unnecessary parts unprompted by me. It was such a relief because it was unexpected and I really needed the money for something else, so I recommend Richard's Car Care to anyone that values integrity, honest, and prompt communication when looking for a mechanic. Thank you guys!

I had my 2005 bmw M3 repair there and the problem I had is the diff bolt broke off they replace the bolt and the person install my rear differential bolt incorrectly and I went there to talk to the manager show him the pic as proof he said that I bought it there for a reason I said yes to get it repair and I paid for the service not a half as job. Who ever that mechanic was uses 4 washer and the diff thread was in bad shape. Lucky for me I decided to upgrade the rear bushing thanks to Matt at hauas took the photo of the bolt in the diff with 4 washer on it. Because of the bolt being install incorrectly causes the diff to make a weird noise when I accurate. The manager made it seem like I bought the car to someone else and blame them for it then said he can't go by what I said and the car is not there for them to inspect and the picture I provided. Warning do not trust there work because I learn it the hard way.

Do not trust those owners. Especially Brian and his brother Brandon. I took my 2021 Lexus in for an oil change and they quoted me $7,800 of work. Not only that, but they also left my oil filter loose and I lost alot of engine oil. I called one of the owners and they denied it.The oil pressure was extremely low. Took it to Lexus and was told all It needed was wiper blades a tag light, and they topped of my oil thanks to Richards poor quality work. They are scam artists. Please stay away from here I am just trying to help the next person.

I always use this shop for major repairs and maintenance and so does the rest of my family. They do honest work and are always reliable. They have a nice waiting room if you have to stay. I would recommend calling ahead if you can because they are popular but they're popular because they do solid honest work. Also, as a woman, they've never tried to speak over me, take advantage of me, and listen to what I'm actually saying. They'll talk to you like a person.

Called and spoke with someone in the office at Richards Car Care couldn't catch there name. Asked if they would be able to align my welding truck. Gave exact description and specific details on weight, width, and length. Was quoted $140 before taxes. Took off work and drove an hour burning up fuel that is already overpriced to get told once I get there it would be $260 because it was bigger than they expected. Not sure how they came to that conclusion after the exact detailed description I gave them on the phone. But whatever, thanks for trying to take advantage of me and costing me several hundred dollars in lost time and fuel.

Had a flat that needed repair, Richard's was listed as a Goodyear Service Center. Told them I had a flat that needed to be fixed with the road side hazard, but if the flat could not be fixed, my replacement warranty would allow me a new tire. Dropped the tire off got the call and ended up paying $45 dollars because they said Goodyear has burned a bridge with them and they dont work for free. If they had just told me before I would have gone somewhere else, ANYWHERE else. Instead I was out $45 and laughed at, they are S l e a z y....Service: Auto tire replacement

Really enjoyed coming to this business today, it's across from my house and for a Fully Synthetic oil change it was right under $100. They were thorough and included al out of really nice maintenance checks like fluid flushes, tire rotations, balancing etc. Would recommend!!

It s hard to know where to start. On 12/31/21 I took my car to Richards due to my check engine light being on. They ran a diagnostic and determined that my car needed $4k in repairs. That seemed unusual because there was really nothing wrong with my car.I took my car to a dealer and they ran a diagnostic that would serve as a second opinion. It turns out that all my car needed was a tuneup. That s it.I have since sold my car and received a payment that was more than fair. :-)Don t let Richards be the final word for any of your auto repairs. Get a second opinion. You ll be glad you did.Service: Oil change

I've taken buses in and they're pretty reasonable. The front desk was amazing and so were the people. Had I known that the freon was low, it would have been done that day where other places were the next week to get in.

I usually do not write reviews but usually read them in order to get an idea of a business and how they operate. I felt the need to share my recent trip to Richards Car Care and possibly help save someone else's time and money. I went in on Saturday 6/2/2019 for an A/C problem due to our vehicle blowing only hot air. We left the vehicle over the weekend to have it diagnosed and was contacted by the owner Brian Richards on Monday 6/3 to say that there was extensive damage and refrigerant leaking. The shop will need to replace multiple parts and do a lot of repairs. Having a mechanical background myself, the estimate of $2500 did not sit too well and I paid the diagnostic fee and left to get a second opinion from another shop close to Broadway Extension. After giving the second shop the original estimate and their mechanics verified that all parts DID NOT need to be replaced and was still operational. The second shop DID NOT charge me a diagnostic fee and said that they did not find any evidence that a dye was used in order to find any types of leaks. They recharged the system and I paid $153.00. The second shop said that if the leak returns in the future to just bring it back and they will look at it again for FREE and that replacing parts when they are still functional would be a waste of my money. I would like to say that I understand that every business is in it to make a profit but to write bogus estimates to pad your pocketbook is unethical and downright immoral to our community. Hope this helps anyone out there looking for an honest mechanic and save your hard earned dollars for something important like your family!

If I could give negative stars, I would. I have never been treated so poorly by a business owner in my life.Consumer Warning: Be careful taking your vehicle to Richard's Car Care.Story Time: My Subaru Forester has been hesitating on acceleration for about 6 weeks. We have changed the spark plugs, and that helped until yesterday. I was driving my car, and suddenly it wouldn't go past 2000rpm, and was struggling with even mild acceleration. So I took my car to Richard's Car Care on May in OKC.They performed a diagnostic and determined that the spark plugs were bad again. They showed me cylinder #1's spark plug and how it was malfunctioning. Their estimate for replacement of 4 spark plugs and a fuel injection cleaner treatment was almost $900.I asked if my car was safe to drive home and have my husband replace the plugs. I was told that my car was safe, they gave me the appropriate part numbers to purchase, I paid the diagnostic fee and left.I buy the correct plugs, and Justin proceeds to change them out. I am attaching pictures of how the spark plug looked when he pulled it out of Cylinder 1. The threads of my cylinder head are attached to the threads of the spark plug.So this morning, I call a tow truck to move my vehicle from my garage, back to Richard's Car Care, so they can do an investigation as to what happened. The service teach and guy at the counter were friendly and helpful. They brought the owner out to talk to me. The owner spoke down to me from the beginning, telling me they didn't do anything wrong, and "What did I expect them to do?" I told them that I wanted my car looked at to determine what it would take to make it driveable again, and he said "We don't work on vehicles if they have been worked on at home, that's our policy."I'm not putting fault on anyone, I just want my car to be drivable again.

AC quit, needed new fan motor and relay switch for my 2008 Honda Ridgeline. Fixed in half a day at fair price. Gave me a ride to work, I drove home with cold air.

The vehicle I took here is a vehicle I rarely drive. After the vehicle hit a curb, they quoted me 1900 dollars worth of work. I went with it and the vehicle didn t drive well after, but I rarely drove it and didn t take it in until about a year later. When I went back to discuss the issues, they somehow came up with 5000 worth of problems. They rotated the tires and it still drove horribly. I went to Christian Brothers and the vehicle drives much smoother and they didn t try to push me to spend money. I will never conduct business with these people again and will do my best to keep everyone away from them.

This place is great! I take care of a 3-yr old and a 1-yr old. They came and got my car so I wouldn't have to hang out with the kids in the shop. They brought my car back to me ready to go. Everyone was so courteous and professsional. Will definitely use them again!

Went in for a tire and an alignment. Was quoted over $1100.00 for front end work and told it couldn't be aligned. Got a second quote for half that elsewhere. Talked to a mechanic I know who sent me to Kwick Kar, where they charged me $65 for an alignment.I asked about worn or damaged control arms and was told everything was within tolerances, and was a good to go.Richard's took two hours to give an estimate for $1100... i was out the door, fully aligned, in 45 minutes.Total con job!

Great service! I took my car in before a trip to make sure my tire didn't have a leak. They were very polite on the phone and got me right in. They went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I will definitely be returning for any other car maintenance.

my significant other took with my car (a VW) and she was told that VW has an special oil that cost more.. anyway an oil change was gonna cost 130? For a 4v? When i took the SAME car last time the price was around 60. Very weird. No to mention that when i took the car to a more trusted place; they found that the o-ring that goes in the oil filter did not fit the filter and i had a oil leak thanks to that. Better place to take your car is precision tune on 33rd and broadway.

THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS AT ALL. I walked in to try to get my tire changed because they were right down the street and I needed to get me and my niece off of the road and they didn t even speak to me when I walked in and told me they could not help me because they were closing soon. Did not GREET ME, did not even check out my tire. I understand that you were closing soon, but right when I walk in you don t speak to me, you look at the clock? Yeah, I will never come back to this place!!
