Car broke down in OkC. I live 2 hours from there. Towed my car to them. They had it fixed in 24 hours. Fast and friendly. Picked my car up and drove home. Not 24 hours later the check engine light came back on. I called and he told me it wasn't possible. Told me to get carbon cleaner in my fuel and run it. Still did not work. I am too scared to drive it back to OKC to have them try to fix it again.

I was in OKC just for the weekend when my car suddenly needed repair. Herman and company were so quick and friendly and transparent. I highly recommend.

These mechanics definitely know their vehicles and are good at explaining the difference between necessary and non-necessary repairs. I've used these guys for about 3 years and have never been up sold on products and have never had to bring my vehicle in twice for the same issue.Recently had both the a/c and the lifters start failing at the same time. This meant an a/c kit and an engine replacement, and these guys went above and beyond. I'd been wanting a larger vehicle with more towing capacity and these guys not only helped me find another vehicle with those abilities but also inspected it to insure it was roadworthy. And the kicker is that, for the same price for an a/c and engine replacement in my older vehicle, I was able to use that same money to buy the vehicle I'd been wanting.While they may be a little more pricey than other mechanics in the area, they're definitely worth every penny.

I am truly speechless at the amazing service that I received today from both the Herman and Billy!! I brought my car in for what I thought was an issue with my starter or battery and they were able to quickly diagnose the problem that my battery needed to be replaced. They got me in and out and literally I drove away feeling as if I had just left family who (genuinely) looked out for me ! I will always choose them to service anything on my vehicle! Always. As long as I live in Oklahoma. They serviced another car of mine a few years back and I never had any problems with my car starting afterwards. They are truly a blessing and I m so so grateful that our paths crossed. I was was referred to them by a very trusted co-worker and she swore by them as being amazing !! And, they really are. Thank you !!!!

I have had somewhat mixed experiences with these guys, but ultimately I can t recommend that anyone use them. My two experiences with them were a general inspection of a newly purchased (but used) car, and an A/C replacement on another car.On the general inspection, I was told to replace spark plugs, brakes, and a couple other minor things. It s always a toss up trusting a mechanic telling you things to replace, but I decided to trust them on the spark plugs and wait on the brakes based on their order of recommendation because I couldn t afford both. That was almost three years ago. I ve since checked the brakes and they re still fine. Definitely makes me doubt the spark plugs, but I can t say for sure there.The A/C replacement has been much worse unfortunately. They charged me in the ballpark of $1600 to do a replacement (not that bad, but a fair amount higher than another really reputable shop out near Guthrie that I m using to fix their fix). It certainly worked *better* than before because it flat out didn t work when we first took it in, but it never really worked well. I took it back to them 2 or 3 times over the next couple of summers, and they were somewhat rude to me about it (one of the two guys, that is) and basically said it s because I don t have windows tinted on the vehicle. I get that that helps, but it just didn t seem right to me. Took it to Scheer Automotive who has done really great work for me for many years (but is just far away), and they immediately took time with it and diagnosed it properly. And I need another compressor. Which also leads me to believe the parts that Pro Express used must not have been great.One of the guys here is nice, and I m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on the spark plugs and brakes because I don t know how much he thought I was using the car (though I ve used it quite a bit), but the A/C experience is just too much for me to ever consider going back. I know parts go bad, but I ve made every effort to get them to help me get it in better working order and the guy was just unwilling or incapable of diagnosing it properly.Services: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair

My A/C went out a few weeks ago and I heard of these guys from a teacher that I work with who also works on her car herself, and told me she only trusts Billy and Herman to work on her car. So I go to them and not only were they able to squeeze me in but also quickly reschedule me when I had to change the day I brought my car. Picked it up same day & price was great. My A/C is finally back to blowing cold, cold air in this heat!! Billy & Herman were both so genuine, welcoming, and kind and helped relieve some of the anxiety that comes with car problems. Will be back next tragedy!!

These guys are amazing. I am doing a cross country trip with my wife and 11month old and they did a full diagnostic on my car and didn t charge me a penny. Checked my check engine light, reset my engine light and were very personal. They made me feel comfortable getting back on the road. I m not a car person - all I know is that something worked yesterday and today it isn t and I want to find THE BEST to fix whatever the problem is. After some google searching and reading reviews - I brought our Cadillac here to have the AC fixed. Within 2 minutes of being there - the issue was figured out and I was asked to come back the following morning for service (literally the lot was packed in the 5 minutes I was there!). Went back this morning - car was fixed by lunchtime today. Not just that - but these guys are salt of the earth, if we say we gotchu - then we gotchu, go above and beyond kinda guys. The shop is literally 2 blocks over and around the corner from my house - so I walked home while the car was being worked on - but not before I was asked 3-4 times If I was sure I didn t need a ride home.Before I walked into this shop, there were only a few people I trusted not to take advantage of my lack of knowledge in the car aspect of life - my dad, my husband and my father in law - now there are a handful because I added two more gentlemen to that list - the guys at Pro Express Automotive.Oh! And my (our) Cadillacs AC is working better than ever!

Usually when you see five stars at an auto repair shop you stop for a moment to read some reviews. Well the stars drew me in and it was their genuine care for me that hooked me. I ve had much trouble with my 2013 Kia Optima during the last year and half of my ten years of ownership. The two gentlemen who helped me save $4,000 by not going to the dealership in order for me to fix my car goes beyond just a simple review. They suggested that I contact their auto parts supplier and order through them to have free shipping to their shop and I only pay for labor. I never have had any auto shop suggest this to me and I ve traveled across 36 states of America with living in 7 of them. So I thank God I found them for helping me with my car. Take your car to Pro Express and you will be impressed with their customer service and quality of work!!!

A check engine light popped up on my 2008 Subaru Forester. The first auto repair shop I called could not get my car in for a month. Pro Express was booked, but squeezed my car in. The mechanic diagnosed the issue (gas cap not fully sealed) in about 10 minutes and cleared the error code. The owner was very friendly and did not charge for the diagnostic. I broke down while traveling and had to be towed there after hours, so they could have really ripped me off. The mechanic figured out exactly what needed to be done and had the parts there within half an hour. I spent over $1,000 and I looked up the average labor and parts prices and they were all right in the ballpark. They're good honest hard working people it was obvious that they genuinely cared about getting me on the road again as soon as possible. I wouldn't hesitate for one second to return if I lived in the area.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Saw the reviews about Pro Express Automotive and decided to take my 2017' Toyota Highlander to them because of damage incurred by a large company. Bill looked and gave me and exact estimate for the repair. He ordered the parts. The minute they come in he did the work the very next day! Impressed beyond belief!By the way, RepairPal said repair costs should have been much more than he charged!I don't normally ever write a review! Pro Express Automotive a 10 star rating! Would advise anyone and everyone to use them for any automotive need!Thank you so very much!

I took my Honda Civic in for a new motor mount at around 5:45 pm. One of the mechanics, Bill, was able to quickly diagnose the problem and it turned out three of my motor mounts where bad. I know enough about cars to know Bill was shooting me straight.They called around for parts and were able to start working on it around 10 am the next day with a quote for $645 for all three mounts. They had the job done around 3:30 pm that day. It turns out one of the mounts was slightly higher in price (due to only being available from the dealership) and my new total was $700.I went to pick up the car and met with the owner, Herman, who showed me my worn out motor mounts and was very friendly. In fact, Herman knew my name and remembered it which is always good customer service. Herman handed me the keys and said they had it all cleaned up and ready to go. To my surprise the car was fully washed and detailed - which was impressive because it was pretty filthy when I dropped it off. Turns out any customer spending more than $500 gets a full wash and detail.I drove away with my car running great and looking good. I was very happy with my experience and will definitely call Herman for all my future repairs.

The people who run this store are saints. They helped me out when I was in a really bad spot and saved me a lot of money where I couldn t have afforded it at another place. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they are just really good people and fix things right and well.

Great price and great service! Had a bad battery that grew into bigger issues with the battery terminal. Got everything replaced and back on the road in less than an hour. Good solid fellas! I am very happy with my experience at PRO EXPRESS! Herman and Bill very good at what they do! They very professionally and accurately fixed a major engine problem for my wife's 2012 Malibu while also very articulately going over the details of the problem and what they did to correct it. I could tell they both are very passionate about their work and to be truly good at something one has to be passionate about it (which they are)!1) They do excellent work2) Their prices are reasonable3) They are honest4) They ensure the problems are fixed 100% to best practice and not just "fixed"5) They are very nice

Took my car here to diagnose what felt like a loose wheel above 60mph. After driving it for a bit the mechanic told me he believed it to be a bad axle and while he couldn't be 100% sure that was the issue he was 100% sure it would be covered by the still in effect powertain warranty and that I should take it to the dealer. Didn't even charge me for the time he spent on it. 5 stars for honesty. I will be taking my vehicles here for their (not-covered by warranty) maintenance and repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

It's extremely rare for me to take the time to write a review, but I've felt internally compelled to share my experience with Pro Express. They've built their reputation on integrity, service, and excellence to the highest degree with courteous customer service. They have saved me over $800 on a repair for my BMW and in a fraction of the time! A Google search for best mechanic in OKC has led me to Pro Express and now I see why.Service: Brakes

Ill be sending all my friends and family to these guys. Direct and honest mechanic shop. Small garage run by a respectful guy who tells you what's really going on, not in it to steal your money they just want you informed. No matter your budget or situation theyll at least tell you what you need to know, even if they're not making money off the advice. Very helpful!

Professional and knowledgeable!! I had started at a retail place thinking it was a simple fix and it ended but being an issue that required a shop. We were in from out of town and I had my infant with me, they were able to help us get going again that day and they were both really kind. I would absolutely bring all of my car issues to them if we lived in OKC!

Replaced my husband's timing belt & a few other pieces, it was expensive but way more affordable than a chain mechanic, and the car runs like new. Has helped me twice with small things (diagnosing engine light, fixing bent wiper blade arm) FOR FREE, even after I offered to pay. Great guys who guarantee their work, and the repairs are fast. I'll go to them first every time!

As someone who has lived in various parts of the United States, I feel the Pro Express is one of the best auto repair shops I ever had my car fixed. The mechanics are very hospitable and they do what it takes to find the source of the problem.The repair shop itself might not be the cleanest, but they make up for it in terms of skill and price. If you are in need of car repair, please consider this place.

Had gone to 4-5 body shops with a terrible rattle in the back of my car every time I went over a bump. No clear diagnosis for what was wrong. I was told shocks might be compromised and need replacement. At Pro Express, the mechanic was able to diagnose a loose caliper in a matter of 2 minutes. No exaggeration. Fixed the issue in 5 minutes. Honest. Straightforward. Effective. These are the qualities of a top mechanic. You better believe I ll be back and will be referring others to them as well. A+.

Bill replaced my engine. My vehicle is 18 years old, so there is always some small thing going wrong. Multiple times I have taken it in, only to have him jump in my engine compartment immediately, find a loose clamp, gasket, etc. and replace it immediately and send me on my way. His prices are fair and his time estimates are reliable. He has earned our business on all major repairs.

Awesome is an understatement!! My ac isn't working in the front of my Escalade. I took it to this new, fancy, bigger garage. They tell me to bring it back Monday for diagnosis!! Called Pro Express, explained my problem and they told me to bring it in. Bill knew what was wrong in 5 minutes. Now, mind you, this is a Friday almost 4pm. He sends me for the part and it's fixed at 4:15!!!!! I found a new mechanic!! N the price is so reasonable!!!!!

They do good work, are fast and friendly, and they've been doing it a long time. As a former smoker and a mother of small children, I was put off by the mechanic smoking inside. But if you yourself are a smoker than this is a five star rating because that means you don't have to go outside to smoke.

Herman & Bill are great to do business with. Very knowledgeable about lots of makes and models, and most importantly, honest, fair and very good at what they do. Highly recommended. I have used them many times on all our vehicles.
