Warning!!! Do not take your vehicle to this shop. I purchased a vehicle from a dealer on NW 39th on 1/31. The transmission went out on 2/2 and the dealer told me to take the car to their mechanic, On The Spot. I did as instructed and had the vehicle towed to this shop. The car was left unsecured in front of the shop for several weeks. Doors were unlocked, I know because I checked. The owner acts like a nice guy on the phone, if you can get him on the phone. Eventually my calls went to voicemail, which of course was full. Told me he had a transmission ordered, then when the car was supposed to be done told me he got a bad transmission and had to order another one. Picked up my vehicle on 3/8, a month after dropping it off. It had an error message on the dash that was not there when the vehicle was dropped off. It broke down within an hour and had to be towed back to the shop again. I finally had to have the car towed away from On The Spot on 3/26. He kept it for nearly 2 months, charged me $1,500 and did not repair the vehicle. This has been confirmed by a reputable mechanic. He did not provide any detailed paperwork about the parts he supposedly replaced, or any documentation about work completed.

I told the mechanic what I thought about the problems with the vehicle. He asked more questions I didn't think of and executed the job perfectly. He has worked on my 03 suburban, making it solid and like new, and now I've taken my old Silverado service truck to him to get 'ole Bessie back on the road and reliable for service again. He was able to find all issues, and I got my baby back again, ready to go to work!Thank you Pablo and the boys at On Spot Mechanic, you've made a happy customer.

This mechanic shop is the best shop I've been to.. Paul is very honest and I can tell he loves his job. He gets the job done in a timely matter.. I can tell he values his customers and not just the money like I've dealt with in the past from previous mechanic shops.. If I could give this shop 10 stars I would..

I don t even know where to start! I am so grateful to have gotten serviced by this mechanic shop! The owner is very friendly, relatable, and compassionate to your situation! He also tries to work with your budget, and realizes it s a hard time right now. He took time to educate me on my car, and truly fixed the actual problem, now I feel so much safe driving around!I will now make this my mechanic shop for my car needs!

Very knowledgeable and experienced Mechanics.. I brought my Ford in to get worked on and the they were fast knowledgeable and reliable. I recommend anyone needing there vehicle looked at and fixed properly come to On The Spot and ask for Paul!!!

Brought in my 2006 Solara because my back tie rod in was making my whole car drift sideways. Paul was able to get me in and out the same day. These guys are quick and professional. A honest mechanic shop is tough to come by in today s world. Stopped in with a car problem while driving through Oklahoma City and they got me on the road again very quickly. Owner is super straight forward and he was extremely fair with pricing. Whether you re passing through or a local, I would highly recommend this location.

Don t give this place your business. I am Paul s family & he s never hesitated to try & screw me over. In the most recent event, he had my truck for a week & a half, couldn t figure out the problem, failed to tell me so, convinced me he had fixed it, only for me to show up to get it & say oh man I wish I d known you were coming I d have let you know we didn t. After telling me 2 days before I could come get it, then wasn t there the next day for me to come pick it up. Was going to charge me double what I actually paid to get it fixed. He doesn t know what but talks to you likebecause he knows the general population doesn t know jack about cars. Funny thing is outside the basics, apparently neither does he. Couldn t figure out my truck has two cam shaft position sensors, & honestly I want to just keep rambling about the problems this shop gives me, but I ll leave it at Just take it to Sal s auto shop. Had my truck back in 3 hours & charged me half what Paul was trying to say it would cost.

I had my car towed here because of starter issues and paid for the starter up front and paid for the service after it was finished. A few days later he called me and told me that he didn't replace the starter. His words were "it was a couple fuses". So he returned some money, but I still ended up paying $200 for (what I later found out) was a $20 relay. On top of it, items were stolen out of my car while it was in his care.Well now, the starter has gone out, and I wouldn't have had to go through all of this starter trouble again if he had done the work I paid him to do in the first place. I do appreciate him not charging me $400+ for the 5 second fix of changing a crank relay, but I still feel like $200 was too much, because he thought I didn't know anything about cars. Also, in returning part of my money to me, it took him over a week to do so, and came in small increments.I am still really mad about the stolen stuff from my car, two items in particular that cost more than $100 each. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

Paul the owner and main mechanic is the main for your difficult car trouble s! His staff of mechanics and him will address your big or small issues with great quality of work as well as parts. His prices are affordable and I have going to him for years!

This doesnt come easy but i feel the people need to know especially seniors like myself. I took my car to this shop because it was close to where i lived we did the easy things cause misfire took it to paul missed family reunion 4th july because i was told it would be ready prior to this two other times he knew what was wrong after running a complete diagnostics scan mind you over the 3 weeks of having my car i asked him what did the scan find never got an answer he ignored responding july 8th 2023 he said your car will be ready i responded great was it road tested and what was the problem still no response. Finally responded from a different number telling me he couldnt find the problem i said what was the diagnostics he repeated what we told him we had already done because he asked when we took it in. i said you just repeat every thing we told you we did, he said we had to replace those things and the problem still exist. I said you knew and i gave you the ok to fix it and diagnostics included if you did the work. I said i have every text and phone call attemps we had he said im just charging $100.00 because i have to charge you something. When went to pickup car i had two flat tires both on the rear on my cadillac and dead battery which wasnt there before i called ASE certified they said a true professional even if misdiagnosed would have still repaired because it was the right thing to do and a warning sign of a scam or dishonest mechanic is when they dont respond to your text or calls. Im trying to get it back home car still not running a month later today 7/13/2023 some reviews they have apps to place them after searching around this guy paul & on the spot mechanics has done this before keeping cars and then charging consumers storage fees and never repaired there cars and he has a lot of cars in back of the shop you can tell they been there a while. Im 60yrs old disabled he took advantage of me because he knew i wasnt able to challenge him in the court of law, and no one would help me with making him do the right thing all of these associations did nothing to investigate the shops wrong doings and not one attorney returned my call of the almost month of my car justing sitting in the bone pile of cars not answering my questions o the problem which should had been done on June 16th 2023 when he called and said they diagnosed problem and he knew i was going to drive the car to my 4th of july family reunion andtold me it would be ready that friday before the reuion i told my ride to go ahead my will be ready do you know he never called me to tell me it wouldnt be ready he texted me sunday and we are closed until july 5th and said he was out of town until then. I hadnt missed a reunion in 30yrs he didnt care where is the integrity, you can do what you want but i suggest staying away from this shop if i want my car i have to pay for the storage i asked for diagnostic report and all the parts he said replaced that we had already done and by the way all had warrantys needless to say he never showed proof and my tires and battery and all the cost paying for rides walking to the store not buying my medications i still have a broken down car still walking to get grocerys im mad at myself for not checking this shop owner out he took advantage of me causing me pain on purpose by keeping my car lying about every thing i have records of all communications and not one agency asked me for them not one agency has returned my calls alllowing this shop to remain open is being a part of the problem . Stay away from this shop Nw 39th Meridian Okla city On The Spot Mechanics, im not sure what to do now but im sure a blessing will come from this.

This place is great! The owner is very helpful and works very hard to get people in fast and he makes sure you are happy with everything. I came in without notice and he worked on my car all day until it was done. There's plenty of "worst nightmare" scenarios but I'm sure we can all agree that having your car breakdown during a road trip 1,000 miles from home on a weekend is definitely one of them! In addition to all the inconveniences you can possibly think of, you're essentially at the mercy of the first mechanic you find.On a Saturday morning I was fortunate to have been right down the street from On the Spot's mechanic shop when my water pump blew and was able to get there before all the coolant drained.Paul was definitely "on the spot" with diagnosing the fix(which was more than just a water pump of course my car had a kit that included replacing the timing chain and a few gaskets needed to be replaced in addition to the pump) and got it done in the time he'd estimated for the cost we'd agreed on. Definitely appreciate them and 100% recommend OTS

Do not come here. They charged me $600 and they lied that they removed some bolts to my ac compressor. They did a a terrible and messy job. They almost gave me back my car without the air filter if i hadnt noticed. They straight up lied to me and I do not recommend anyone come back here. They don't even give receipt for the work they do. They pressured me to get a new motor really bad.

Paul is in cahoots with Car Source he pressured us to buy a 2005 Chevy Equinox LS from Car Source that we found later had problems.He promised that he would get the air conditioning working but played games saying that he was going to get a used compressor and when it didn't get done he said that he couldn't get a used one.He was then going to order a new one but whenever we got it it wasn't working. We assumed he just pretended to do it.Finally my husband told him he was fed up.He then said he ordered one a rebuilt one online but he said it would take three to five days for the compressor to come in.Turns out after more wasted time it was never ordered.He said he'd call a few days after that to let us know when it would come in.This vehicle he told us to hurry to buy ,because a lot of people were interested.It was never worked on before selling to us.There was a gallon of water in the outer casing for the left headlight.My husband had to change bulbs for the head light, tail lights, and brake lights.It looked like it was in a flood and Car Source sold it this way.It had a thin coating of mud underneath the car that my husband try to hose off but it wouldn't come off.The tires weren't even the correct size.The Tire Pressure sensors aren't' working.We found out when we had put two new front tires on it.There are electrical issues with the vehicle like the line on the speedometer and tachometer go off and on periodically.Abs and brake lights come on the dashboard and calibrate comes on the the factory radio.These people sells cars that supposedly Paul works on, but he doesn't. Supposedly Car Source offers a 30 day warranty but Paul doesn't ever get the work done.He says he is too busy to fit us but he fits his regular paying customers in.Paul promises to call you back and never does.preEquinox Ls We bought it with the promise of having a working air conditioner He gave us the runaround ever since we bought it.He lies and tells you he order the part and then when it comes down to it it J. This place is awesome. The man quoted me a price for a starter for my 2000 Impala and had it done for less and done promptly also. I suggest if you're in Oklahoma City and need some work done, this is the place to go to. I will be coming back

Great mechanic! He always has reasonable prices and is up front with you. He replaced the motor in my wifes car and no issues so far. I would highly recommend this business!
