I've had the pleasure of dealing with Maxey's Motorcycles in Oklahoma City on several occasions, and each experience has reinforced why they are my go-to dealership for motorcycles. Their straightforward approach to sales and customer service is a refreshing change in the industry. This summer, I purchased a 2023 Suzuki DRZ400SM from them and had an absolute blast with the bike. When I was ready for a change, I returned to Maxey's and traded it in for a 2013 Honda ST1300. The process was seamless, thanks to the incredible support and expertise of Chris. His no-nonsense, honest approach made the transactions quick and enjoyable. There were no gimmicks or unnecessary tactics just straightforward, transparent dealings.Chris also extended his exceptional service to my best friend, who purchased a used Suzuki V-Strom 650. His consistent professionalism and ability to understand and meet customer needs are commendable. What I appreciate most about Maxey's Motorcycles is their no-time-wasting policy. This isn't the dealership for those who aren't serious about buying. They respect your time and expect the same in return. If you come in with a clear intent and respect, you will be treated with utmost professionalism and courtesy. It's a place where being straightforward gets you straightforward pricing and a human-to-human interaction that's increasingly rare in the business. In summary, if you're looking for a motorcycle dealership in Oklahoma City that values honesty, efficiency, and treating customers like humans, Maxey's Motorcycles is the place to go. Their approach to customer service and sales is exemplary, and Chris is a standout in ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied and well-informed.This review highlights your positiveexperiences with Maxey's Motorcycles, emphasizing the straightforward and respectful approach they take in their business dealings, particularly noting Chris s excellent service.

Was in contact with them about purchasing a motorcycle. Had submitted a finance application with them then didn't hear back from them for about a week. Decided to call them up and they seemed annoyed that I was calling them. Told me they were "working on it" and that's the last I ever heard from them which was odd because my down payment was going to be over 1/3 the total price of the motorcycle and my credit is excellent. This was almost 3 weeks ago. I ended up finding someone selling the same motorcycle brand new for a better price. Interestingly like some of the other reviews I've seen on here, they definitely don't seem too interested in making sales.

The worst experience I ve had in a long time. I wanted to by a red razor they had and nobody would help me. They kept telling me somebody would call me back and he never would. So I went up there hoping that would show I was a serious buyer. I was standing in their store for 15 min hoping someone would help me. Their customer service is pretty upsetting.

I bought an extended warranty with our dirt bikes from Maxeys. Now one of the bikes is broken, but apparently the warranty does not cover the non-consumable broken parts and labor because we were not able to ride the bike because a part broke while we were riding the bike. This just seems a little odd.

Took very low mileage sxs into Maxey s for repair. They kept for an extended period of time and charged $155 to charge the battery and said it was fine. Brought home to immediately have same trouble. We even bought a second new battery but it still doesn t start. Maxeys refused to discount service and will charge to re-diagnose SxS that has not been rode since it left their shop. Disappointed in their customer service and with the service department.

Updating my review. Service manager took control of the situation and turned it around! Got my ATV fixed and back home in 16 days. Apparently the problem lies with how Honda deals with warranty issues. Thanks Maxeys!!Took my atv in for service. They're saying it could take 2 months to get Honda to approve the work. Ridiculous!

Love this place sold me a NC700x and it's perfect. Made me a deal and they couldn't be friendlier to active duty/vets. We had a small issue with a sneaky battery that looked fine but couldn't hold up a charge, it was only showing low after completely draining the battery. I called and talked to Chris and he replaced it immediately for me no hassle at all, on top of that they delivered it to me right outside base. Couldn't be happier.

Have you ever tried to make a deal with a motorcycle dealership that won't trade for a like new motorcycle? Well now I have at Maxey's Motorsports and it cost them a deal well worth over $16,000. Plus future sales from me. Guess you can't trade motorcycles in on new units during the winter. So I guess Maxey's is sales only now.

Attempted to buy a used bike from them and got absolutely no help trying to get a price for my trade or for someone to even talk to me. Spoke to two different people by email, and neither replied, then texted and called someone else and they wouldn't reply or call me back. The interactions made me seek out another dealer to purchase from.

Great place, unfortunately they were the only dealer within 6 hours that had the Tenere 700, which was $1150 (dealer fees) more than the dealer across town. They would not budge $1.00, That s what I get for buying the most wanted bike during a fake pandemic! LolOther that the price, everyone was great!

Service department does not perform the service that the customer is billed for! Specifically, my owners manual specifies tank lift and air cleaner inspection as part of the 4,000 mile service. Prior to work service manager specified that this service would be done. After the service was done the service manager specifically said the work was completed. It was not completed...prior to service I strategically placed tape that indicated that none of the parts for the required service were ever removed! Final analysis, I was billed $350 for labor for what amounted to an oil change. The "cash register boy" commented that they are "only human"! Billing for work that is not performed sounds like fraud to me! It seems hard to believe that the most time intensive part of the service was mistakenly not done.Regarding the initial purchase, the motorcycle that I ultimately purchased had finger loose nuts. After pointing this out, the sales person, instead of providing a remedy, stated that I should check things over when I got home. The nuts vibrated off on the 20 mile drive home! While booking the 600 mile initial service the service person asked me where I bought my motorcycle! Great database management! So I guess I must justify to them that my purchase is worthy of their service! Why would this make a difference? This business has a poor reputation and I can see why. It has failed at every opportunity.File your complaints with the Oklahoma State Attorney General's office. The formal complaint form is readily available online and they do listen and follow up. By all means fill out the Suzuki surveys. I certainly have.Just stop and think the next time you are cruising down the highway....maybe the work you paid for was never done! Is your bike safe?I have waited a few days now and there has been no follow up.UPDATE:Suzuki corporate has expressed significant concern that demand for their motorcycles is being destroyed. Suzuki realizes that customers may choose to not purchase Suzuki products because they cannot be properly maintained even when the service is paid for. Obviously an improperly maintained bike will suffer in terms of reliability. Repeat business and brand loyalty will cease to exist.Suzuki corporate doesn't does not accept in any way that you are "only human". GOOD LUCK WITH NEXT YEARS INVENTORY!!!!

While shopping around I stopped here, chatted with the staff, test drove a bike, and needed to continue shopping around, the staff was very understanding and didn't try to pressure me into a sale. Later I came back and bought a bike from them.

We were in the market for two kodiaks in the dallas area but having trouble finding a pair. Maxeys not only had what we were looking for, but at a price we couldn't pass up and definitely worth the drive. Great people, great deals.

Ryan is very helpful and knowledgeable, and so is the rest of the staff. I regularly call and come by to get help on my European scooter that I had gotten online. They have no problem helping me whatever the issue I may be having! Best motorcycle/ scooter shop in OKC!!

Just want to put this out there. I came in for a bike and there was a mixup with the availability. I was contacted and assured that when the bike came available it would be mine. I received a call today and bought it today. As promised they delivered and thank you all for such a great experience.

Love coming in here and seeing the new inventory, they had a few repeats of bikes while they waited for new models to come in. The salesman even let me see his bike and what he had done to it to show me what the bike I was looking at could also look like.

I had stopped by to see if I should replace my front tire and front brakes. Another mechanic said I only had a few miles left on my brake pads. Ryan, the service manager, checked my brake pads and said I had around 2500 miles left. Ryan gave me his professional opinion and didn t try to sell me anything I didn t need. I really appreciated the way he only tried to help me with what I needed. Ask for Ryan if you need any maintenance or service for your motorcycle.

Dealing with Maxeys Motorsports was a five star experience. I had been searching daily on the internet to locate a 2021 Honda ADV 150. I found one in Wisconsin and one in Minnesota but not a one in Oklahoma. Then to my surprise, one showed up at Maxeys. The sales and finance managers treated me like family. Easy in and out. Such a beautiful bike and a total joy to ride.Thank you Maxeys Motorsports!

I live in Colorado, I used to ride a Kawasaki Ninja 400abs, but before long I wanted to change to a faster motorcycle. When I was searching for Suzuki gxsr750, the local price otd needed 14000, so I decided to search for motorcycles in other states , Obviously Oklahoma maxeys has a fairly cheap price. I immediately asked for some information, such as what fees I need, or the extra cost of a motorcycle purchased from an out-of-state. They told me that I only need to pay taxes and The license plate fee sounds simple, so I decided to buy motorcycles from other states. Everything was not so smooth. They needed an extra 500 yuan for shipping, and they couldn t send it out in the first time. They were slow because they were very slow. Busy, after waiting for two weeks, my motorcycle finally arrived. The new car was absolutely undamaged, that is, the motorcycle was not covered up during the transportation process. The motorcycle was very dusty when it was delivered. This is not a good thing because it It doesn t look like a new car. Generally speaking, their price is absolutely superior. There is no need to bargain. The service is slow. They will not contact them actively. You need to contact them to get further information. So if you are in a place, the price is very expensive. If you do, you can also buy motorcycles from other states like me. This is why I give 4 stars. I hope they can do better. In addition to the price advantage, they need to improve the quality of service and follow up the order speed. Friends who need me will recommend them, but unfortunately the car I bought in August has not been licensed yet. I don't know if it is because I bought it from an out-of-state or because of covid!

Great selection of youth and adult dirt & street helmets. They also have a huge selection of jackets, goggles, boots, goggles, and other technical riding gear. The heated gloves were a must this winter.Tony has a great staff and between Greg who is super knowledgeable and Carrie who can get your gear properly fitted for your riding style and budget. I recommend this shop for your parts and accessories needs.

First motorcycle purchase for our family and thanks to Maxeys it will not be our last. My son bought the Yamaha YZF R3 pictured. Mike and the rest of the guys and gals could not have been more helpful. From the early pre-buy questions to post delivery questions they have been very attentive. Oh yeah... they do deliver in OKC metro and some surrounding areas, just ask.

This is where I take my bike to have it serviced, and so far, they've been great! No hassle, the price wired quoted is the price, and they do a good job.
