Unfortunately This shop does not even deserve a one star rating. when Mark was alive and operating it he would not have allowed the horrible Service that's happening now. So I called on a Monday to see when would be a good time to drop the car off for a passenger brake light repair, I was told to bring it in on Tuesday, so I dropped it off Monday night and dropped the key through the night drop, 2 days go by and we hear nothing, we had to make all of the phone calls to follow up, every time we were told that we would get a phone call, that never happened and the car sat for four days to have a turn signal switch replaced, and it would have sat through the weekend if we did not show up at 4;30 pm on Friday, the mechanic was still working on it when we arrived. finished it up and on the drive home the brake pedal goes all the way down to the floor, worked perfectly when we dropped it off, so we check under the hood and per their check list THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE They checked all fluids and left the brake fluid reservoir cap off and laying on the inside fender well, brake fluid was every where under the hood and the reservoir was bone dry, not sure if this was from stupidity or on purpose , either way why in the hell are you checking fluids when I did not authorize that service, complete incompetence !! So after many many years of family, friends, and our vehicles being repaired when Mark was alive we will no longer recommend this shop to anyone.

Addressed my issue at last minute...I was so grateful, because I was at a well known franchise to have vehicle inspection. I had developed a small click in my engine the day before my appointmet. This franchise determined I had NO oil in my engine and that they would not charge me further, but reccommend me to the Subaru dealer to look at my engine! I asked can you at least put oil and they said no. I scrambled to find someone reputable and found this place with 5 star reviews and even met a woman who drives 100 miles to get her work done here in the waiting room. I was so pleased by the service ....when I called I was told to come in, because you cannot drive without oil. The franchise...not so concerned I would have had to take my car to Norman.....without oil....Thank you for the service.

They've done a great job for me and break down the details of their recommended services and what they found upon inspection. Really appreciate Jeremy's communication and helpfulness.Great place and I am comfortable going here without doing intensive research on potential problems, costs, etc. because I trust them!

Mark and Mike are great honest mechanics who have been been around the same brick and mortar building servicing folks vehicles of all makes and models under the Hyde banner 62 years. I've used them a couple of times and quick accurate reasonable estimates. Fast turn around and even gave me a ride home. Unfortunately they weren't able to help me with my last issue because I needed fab done that they weren't equipped for, but they have our business forever!

Mark at Hyde Auto was really fantastic. I wasn't sure what was wrong with my car, and he diagnosed the issue an hour after I dropped my car. He kept me informed and up to date on the status of my car as well as an estimate of the pricing. The customer service here was absolutely amazing and they did a fantastic job. I absolutely recommend anyone in the OKC area with car problems to this shop!Service: Wheel alignment

I will really miss this great mechanic and all around good guy who always said he would take care of my car as well as he would his daughters. Mechanics like him are few and far between. Rest in peace Mark Hyde. Prayers for your family.

Remarkable mechanics: prompt, responsive, highly professional. Answering questions very clearly without attempt to just "get you into the shop". If they don't do something or may not be able to fully complete the job, they'll tell you upfront, very different from what I experienced in AAA shop. They are busy which reflects their popularity. I have mis-posted my review for Hyde Auto Service Center on the wrong location. just in case I'm not able to change it over please be aware that this is most likely the safest place and the most honest place you can do business as far as car repair. This business actually started over 60 years ago when the owner was Mark's (owner) father. I could be wrong but I doubt that you will ever see any advertisement for this business because they have no need. Repeat business and word of mouth has kept this establishment with more than they can handle. But don't worry, if they say they will do the work for you then their word is as good as gold. The staff and the owner are some of the most down-to-earth and honest people you may ever encounter. I have never felt so secure about having my auto repaired as I have at Hyde Auto Service Center.

Mark Hyde has worked on my car several times, and as a single mom (woman) is is fair, honest and friendly. He takes the time to explain things provides excellent customer service. I took my car elsewhere one time and they gave me an estimate of $587. I wanted a second opinion and took it to Hyde's and it was some type of seal and ONLY $60 something dollars!! One of the most honest people I have ever met!!!!!

I've had a very old pickup in here a few times. Mark Hyde has stayed completely in touch with me throughout the repair process. There have been times where another mechanic might have wanted to do additional work and charge more; Mark has been up front about the condition of the vehicle. If the work isn't needed, he doesn't push having it done. If it is, he recommends it.This last time he went the extra mile to ensure quality work and the old truck drives a LOT better than I remember.I definitely recommend Hyde Auto the next time you need auto repairs.

Mark was fantastic and very professional. The job on my car could not be fixed. So Mark made a phone call and had me hooked with a body shop they the work with. He even got a price on fixing it. Mark and his team did a great job getting my Jeep performing like it should. He was very fair on price, didn't try to sell me additional parts or services, and gave me a list of items that will need attention/maintenance soon. I've received several referrals from friends and co-workers to use his shop, and I'm sure glad I listened. Thanks Mark for getting me back on the road!

The folks at Hyde Auto are the most professional and honest you will find in OKC! They are always up-front and fair when discussing what needs to be repaired on your vehicle. They have never tried to up-sell me on a repair or service, and they have even encouraged me to take it to another shop if I felt a repair needed a "second opinion". (I've never asked for a second opinion btw). I trust these folks with all of our vehicles and will recommend them all day, every day.

Mark Hyde is simply one of my all time favorites in the world. I ve always told family and friends he s the best mechanic ever and he has never overcharged me once. I could go on forever how many times he s helped me out. Do not go anywhere else to get your car serviced properly.

I highly recommend Hyde automotive. I m an automotive shop consultant in the Oklahoma City metro area, and I do business with a lot of repair shops.Mark, Mike and the guys here at Hyde do an incredible job of doing right by their customers without ever cutting corners. It is humbling, and truly impressive to see how good of a business this is an how fair and good they are to their customers.I would easily put them in OKC s top 10 independent repair shops. Excellent customer service, and most importantly I trust them.100% recommend them for automotive work

I have brought many vehicles to Hyde Auto over the years, and have always been with great reliable service. This is the only auto shop I will recommend to friends and anyone new to Okc. Mark and his team great pride in the quality of service they provide to their customers.

100% honest, have no fear. While certainly not the cheapest in town...thats ok because Mark and Mike and crew will fix it right, at a fair price. Call ahead of time because they are always packed busy(with good reason.) Have been a client for years now, and I've referred a few friends and none have had a bad experience yet. Highly recommended

Honest and knowledgeable. Managed well so they schedule work appropriately. May take a day or two or more to get appointment but they will get your car back when they say they will. Keep close contact with owners if something unexpected arises. More often than not they can see it coming.

He has worked on my shops delivery van, my Son's car and my Nephews car. Straightforward and honest. Cleaned and fixed a part to save me money versus just replacing it to make more money... I recommend him to anyone.
