Hondura Automotive made it easy for me to choose them as my #1 trusted mechanic! Although they have properly fixed my domestic vehicles (Dodge Dakota), they performed significant, high quality work my family s imported vehicles (Honda Odyssey, Honda Pilot, Lexus RX350). New vehicles are so expensive these days, so I need my older vehicles to run for a long life, which is why I choose Hondura!It is not as easy these days to find trusted mechanics that have the highest integrity. I appreciate that they also don t simply try to offer the cheapest fix - they stand firm on what is the right fix for you and are very reasonable and authentic. Additionally, they have great processing and billing to make it seamless for me to get precise quotes and information, as well as provide simple payment methods.I trust their full team with my vehicles that carry my family safely on long trips, as well as our vehicle that will carry my daughter off to college soon! I highly recommend their services. They are simply genuine people always looking to do the right thing!Highly recommend!

Had tried to email for appointment like before, but they don't get that anymore, also got lost since they had moved. Once they had the car they got right to work on it, they even fixed the bumper that we had zip tied on.Overall, the experience (once we got there) was definitely 5 , but I'm only doing 4 due to the difficult time we had trying to get the appointment before hand . STILL WOULD RECOMMEND!

Wonderful! They gave me a discount for a tuneup (by way of a coupon - that had previously expired). They told me what work I should have them complete next (this is a 2012 vehicle). I have had service completed by Hondura for many years and I have always been extremely satisfied!

I previously took my car there when Johan owned the business. It's now under new ownership with Johan's nephew Bernard running the operation. He was very nice until there was a problem I took my vehicle there in June 2023 for rear struts. I received my car back and there was still a loud rattle, there was black grease on the headliner, my rear seat clips were broken, and the plastic access covers to my struts were broken. I went to him for help and he immediately became very rude to me. He told me he would put the old struts back on my car, and refund my money. (I was told by staff when in the shop were very difficult to remove the old struts and were damaged to get them out) Later he said he would just refund me. I paid I paid by credit card, but he refused to refund the same way. I was ordered drive back to Hondura, and collect cash, and sign my name to an invoice. Cindy his front desk person suspiciouly said I know exactly what you are doing, and I know your kind as she gave me the refund. The behavior there was so unprofessionally appaling that I want to warn others before doing business with them. What a terrible way to treat a person.They treated me like a criminal for their poor actions. They need to take a real good look at themselves, and how they do business.

Only reason I m leaving a 3* review is because I m currently awaiting my car and have not seen how good a job this place is, but not off to a good start. The lady at the front desk is about as nice as a grizzly bear. You need a new front desk person, they are not suited for customer service. She was rude and short and didn t act like she even cared, just that she was too busy to be bothered.

I have used Hondura over the years with both my 2004 and 2014 Accords. Over the weekend my starter went out that I had Hondura replace in August of 2022. I tried calling/texting numerous times throughout Friday afternoon to find out if it was under warranty. Monday morning I called again to attempt to make contact and again check on the warranty status... I have NEVER in my life been talked to as rudely by a receptionist as I was the one who answered the phone! I explained who I was and that my car was broke down, possibly the starter, and was curious about if it was under warranty and if so what that covered... parts/labor whatever. The conversation started off rocky as I could tell I was putting this lady out by calling. Initially the lady told me my car had not been there since 2021, I simply said I don't think that is correct I have a ticket right here from August of 2022. She made it very clear I was putting her out sighing and saying she would look again, she continues to tell me my car was there in Aug. 22 for a new alternator not for Starter replacement. Again I said ma'am can you double check that I know i had the starter replaced at the same time. So again she sighs and makes a big production of having to do HER JOB. She then tells me yes she sees it did get a new starter. So I ask ok well is there a warranty on the parts or anything. She says and I QUOTE..."Why don't you look at your ticket that you say you have" and continues to be a beast not wanting to take my phone call. (Which I will say in the fine print I did find the warranty info BUT how many of us really read that!!) I finally stop her and said I am unsure why you are being so ugly but I would like to speak with someone else, like management! She OF COURSE was the only one available. I will NOT do business with someone as hateful as that. Not to mention I paid around $2,000 to have several things fixed on that 2022 visit. Starter/ Oil Gasket were 2 things. When I had it taken to a shop yesterday they informed me the oil gasket was leaking and insinuated it had never been fixed, which they said could be a cause of why my starter was out again because the oil was getting on the starter THAT I PAID TO HAVE FIXED by Hondura in August of 2022. So between the fact that the receptionist is a complete WITCH and I couldn't speak with anyone with a brain to find out if my problems were covered AND the fact that now I suspect they didnt do the original work I paid for in 2022 I WOULD NEVER EVER do business with this establishment EVER again!!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Very organized and great work done by tech. They owned the job from start to finish. Excellent service and questions answered by Royce. The work area under the hood was clean and finished. Something you don't see much anymore from independent shops. Unless they take pride in the work. They even offered a discount for veterans. Thanks to the crew at Hondura I will be a repeat customer and know my wife's Lexus is well taken care of with honest staff..

We have used Hondura for several decades now and never been disappointed in their service. On a recent trip, there was a small mishap and Bernard took care of everything exhibiting integrity at its best. There are not many shops today with first class service like Hondura.

I have recently had services on my 2008 Honda done here. And the service is outstanding! They send you a text message of the services they recommend, you accept or decline, and they notify you as soon as it is done with no surprise costs. They don't try to make you purchase services that are not necessary. I would 10/10 recommend!

Superb service as always! Their communication technology, the front desk staff, Cindy, and waiting room are top notch. I've come to this shop since the early 80s to service my Hondas.They now expand their service to all Japanese cars.

Ok I took a lengthy amount of time to write this. I was angry at first but I m not anymore. My car was having issues staying running Honda CRV. Also starting. Kept killing batteries. Losing power. I was referred to Hondura. Took it in the told me they found a couple things they thought the issue was so I said ok let s fix it. They charged me over $900 total for parts and labor. They had it longer than expected but didn t tell me why. They finally call and tell me that I need to take it to a dealership because they can t find the problem. Basically they misdiagnosed the issue. They had it an additional day to take the parts off and put the old ones back on. They refunded me for the parts but they charged me for the labor. I was referred to them by an employee of a local Porsche repair shop. When I told them they still charged me for the labor even tho they misdiagnosed my car they didn t understand and said I m sorry I referred you there I never thought they would do that. Well they did. The Porsche place and several other places who repair cars all said they wouldn t have even gone into that because it was above their pay grade. I even took it to another show on Reno and Air Depot and they ran diagnostic and told me it s not something they can fix. Suggested I go to dealership and didn t even charge me to do diagnostic. Apparently things aren t going so well at Hondura as they don t have the same practices. It really bothers me because when I called they told me they were all certified Honda technician who got tired of working for the dealerships for whatever reason. And this is how you conduct business. This is just my experience with Hondura. I m sure plenty of people have had good ones but I wasn t one of those and just feel it the right thing to do to tell mine. Apparently they really needed that money at the time.

Service was fast, assured and friendly! Since the Gavula Brother's garage went into retirement a year ago, I have been looking for a shop with similar principles and professional ethics. Scammers. Stay away from this place the reviews have to be fake. I went in to get my spark plugs replaced and the car drives but has all these problems i didnt have before i brought it in. After I visited this mechanic my cars stereo is completely locked. They refused to fix it. My car has a multitude of problems that it didn't have when I came in, like leaking transmission fluid, and engine failure ON THE ROAD 2 days after this mechanic. I had to take my car to another mechanic that was honest in order to fix everything that hondura messed up( likely on purpose) and I paid less than half Honduras price. They also scammed my grandmother into buying a new radiator that wasn't necessary, the radiator looks like the exact same one that was already installed, dirt and all. I said all of this to the mechanic shop already with no response.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Despite having an appointment for service and taking my car in early in the morning, Hondura did not even look at it until late in the afternoon or the next day. They were unable to find the dash noise problem I took it in for, but did manage to get the oil changed after the better part of two days.Hondura has been my go-to shop for my cars for many years now, but something has changed there. This experience, combined with things like recommendations to have regular maintenance done much more frequently than the service manual indicates, makes it difficult for me to trust the quality of their work or their service anymore.Service: Oil change

I've been bringing my Honda's to Hondura since 2004, when Johann was their, and I've always enjoyed the service that I've received. I like how they shoot straight and give a few possible options for fixing the problem. The recent new customer communication system they're using has been great to work with. They diagnose the issue, text me what the issue is, and let me know what options I have. A few times I clicked Approved and they were off and running. Other times I've called to get a few more details and they've always been helpful in their explanations.The other thing I like is that they know Honda's, and Toyota's inside and out and I've never ran into anything they haven't seen in the past. I've sent over several friends and family members over to Hondura. These are the best guys in town. Period. They re honest, fast, efficient, professional, & friendly. I am a dealer and most of my inventory consists of Toyota, Lexus, & Honda. I had a Honda that needed A/C & took it to a mechanic and they couldn t fix the problem. I called up Honduras and Sheila very kind and friendly and was able to get me scheduled ASAP. Honduras located and fixed the problem the same day and now my A/C is blowing ice cold! Honduras will be getting all of my business. They are the best. I trust them. My daughters car engine failed completely and we had it towed to Hondura to be checked out. The engine has about 100k miles and it totally shut down while she was out of town. Hondura checked it out and as expected the engine was shot. While they quoted a $6500 replacement they strongly urged us to check with Hyundai as they were aware of an extended warranty that might cover the repair. Turns out they were right and we get a replaced engine from Hyundai at no charge. Hondura was under no obligation to have us check it out but due to their high ethics and honesty we are getting a new engine free of charge. Easy drop-off. Advisor was knowledgeable and helpful. Estimate was clear and gave me choices of which services I wanted to authorize before work was completed. Work was accomplished quickly and was done right the first time. After a horrible experience and change in management at the dealership I had gone to for years, I could no longer trust them with my Acura. Enter Hondura. I have had nothing but prompt communication, clear service needs and plans, along with the costs associated, from the Hondura team. My husband has a Honda and has started taking his there too!
