Overall great experience. Appointment was a week after but that was because my day off was more convenient for me. The only thing for me was the price. Would've liked to have a more competitive discount. I priced it a bit lower off of the base.

Should have checked the reviews here before going to Tinker Firestone. I schedule my truck for a tire rotation the week prior and dropped it off at 8 a.m. They didn't even start until around 4 p.m. and it took them over 2 hours. The staff are courteous - but set the standard for slow work. I should have listened to my co-workers and gone to Discount Tire! Never again!

I had my tires replaced and the service was quick. They advised me if a discount that wasn't listed and gave it to me.

What a frustrating experience I had with these people. Wish I read the reviews first but figured since being on base they knew what they were doing. They were awful. They said things were wrong that didn t fix the root of the problem and spent money that I didn t need to spend and then broke down because they said the problem was fine and it wasn t. I will be talking with corporate on misleading service members. Sad they do that to more people here that have complained. What a joke they are

Made an appointment for 3pm for an oil change. We arrived a few minutes prior to the appointment time. The guy at the counter stated there it would be at least 2.5 to 3 hours to complete the oil change. I explained that we had an appointment. He stated that it did not matter, that they had many cars in front of us. He then asked we wanted to reschedule. I advised we would wait it out. He then told us to move our car across the street to another parking lot. As I was moving the car to the other lot an employee pulled in front of me and parked in a handicap spot near the shop. I came back in to drop the keys off and the manager was there. I advised him that an employee was parked in a handicap spot. The manager stated that they did not have a handicap spot. I took my keys and cancelled the appointment. I am sure I can find a place with better customer service.

Yeah no don t waste your time here I promise you they will not be worth 5+ hours of your time. Dropped my car off for a 1pm appointment and at 4pm they haven t even started anything. No sense of urgency with these fools

They will do anything and say anything to get out of work... they fabricate policy's out of thin air, and when fact-check through Firestone website they act surprised and then slow play the work .... avoid this one trust me.took 3 hours for rotate and flat fix

We had a horrible experience at Firestone almost 5 years ago and did not plan to ever go back. My daughter convinced me to give them another try. I made an appointment for 1 pm today for a new set of tires. The website said to go in a bit early, so we got there at 12:40. Asked if they could do an alignment too, and were told that wouldn t be a problem. He told us it would be 2 to 2.5 hours, so we decided to wait it out. At 3:30 he told us the tech went to get us new lug nuts awhile ago and should be back any minute. We explained that we had an appointment at 5, and needed to be out of there as soon as possible. At 4:10 we were told he still wasn t back. We told them to put the old lug nuts back on, and suddenly the tech was back. We were told he had just the back tires to put on, shouldn t be long. At 4:30, he told us 5 more minutes . At 5:05, he finally called us and said he was done. Almost 4.5 hours later. And the alignment never got done! This was just for tires! $1100 later, no alignment, and a missed appointment, we are finally out of there . Never again!Service: Tires

Dropped my truck off right before they opened. Should've waited the 5 minutes to make sure they got everything done that i wanted. I called at 9 am because i said on the instructions that i wanted it back by 11. They said they didn't think that would be possible but would try. I call at 3 to see if it's done and they say yes at first but then look at the drop off slip and notice , oh, you wanted this done too? Let me get the truck back in and get to work on that. They call at 5 saying what they checked out and needs to be fixed, so i ok the work to hopefully get it back by the end of the day. They call back a few minutes later and say oh wait, i just realized we close at 6 so we won't be able to get it done today. We can get back on it Monday, because this was a Friday and the tech that knew how to do the work wouldn't be there over the weekend. So because they didn't review all the work that needed to be done on turn in, i had to let my truck sit there over the weekend.

They sure have a way of making sure you come back. My last oil change was done here and I decided to do my own. Upon inspecting the oil drain plug I noticed that it was extremely stripped- no big deal I thought because surely I can get it out with vice grips and replace it. It has been tightened so tight that no amount of force can move it when a drain plug should be easily removed with any hand tool. When I called to discuss what happened when I got my oil changed last they offered to have me just bring it in for the oil change after I already have spent the money on all the items myself.

I just purchase a used vehicle and noticed a wear pattern on one tire. I was at the gas pumps and noticed a person in a FireStone uniform and ask if he could take a look at it. His name was Sir Charles and he advised me to change the tire immediately because the tread had separated and there was a slight bulge. After getting his expert advise, current sales, discounts, payment options, and safety concerns my wife and I happily purchased 4 new tires, and had the front end aligned too. We totally enjoyed his friendly customer service, professionalism, vehicle knowledge and sense of humor while waiting and working with Sir Charles. This was the first time I ever spent over $600 and walked away laughing and with a memorable experience. I'll be back for all my services. Thanks Sir Charles for your outstanding customer service!

Made appointment for 930 got a phone call asking of i could push my appointment back to 1030 otherwise i would have to wait a bit... so no big deal, pusb the appt back an hour to not have to wait, i did it. I show up at 1020 and hand in the keys. I waited an hour and a half to walk up and ask what the status of my vehicle. The lady at the desk told me my vehicle hasnt even been in yet. 2 hours isnt worth it for an oil change save time and go somewhere else

Had them do a wheel alignment and change two tires. With appt. It took around 2hrs. They told me I had no room to adjust the rear toe out of my car and id have to have parts replaced. About a week later had a different tire rebalance at another tire shop. They came and got me showed we why I had a vibration my tie rod was wore out. They could not believe they aligned my car with the tie rod wore out like that. I got under my car and noticed they didn't even try to adjust my toe out I had room to adjust I adjusted it myself. I changed out my tie rods. Now im back today only because I have paid for a lifetime alignment with them. Ive been here for 1hr 30min now I have a feeling I'm gonna be here a long time. Update: They came out and said my alignment was good now. I never mentioned they wanted to change parts before. Unreal, they must have real sorry mechanics here.Update: Took 2nd vehicle to them for alignment. Sat for 3hrs with an appt. Finally came to me and told me I needed shims bolts and it would cost around $300 to fix. I asked to see the paper showing where I was at on the adjustment . They did not print it off to show me had to go back to the mechanic and get it after looking at it. I said this is before he even tried to adjust it right? He said yes I said well let's try to actually adjust it and go from there. Why would you tell someone they needed $300 in parts before you even tried adjusting? I feel like they are trying to rob people here. I don't trust them. But my options are limited where to take it.

I needed a new tire and my ac charged. My appointment was at 10, around 5 they called to tell me my vehicle was ready. When I showed up they hadn t gotten the tire in from their warehouse. My vehicle wasn t ready until the next day. A new standard sized tire for a Chevy equinox and the ac recharge cost me over $600. Take your business elsewhere.

Dropped off my truck at 1pm to have all 4 tires replaced. The day before I had come in and he gave me an estimate of $730. The next day when I came in to drop it off a new guy quoted me $850. I asked why and his explanation was that's just the cost. I asked to see an itemized receipt and he had taken the liberty of placing an extended warranty on the tires for $120 more. That's standard bs from car guys and I can handle that. What's really upset me is it is now 5 pm and the vehicle still isn't ready, when they assured me it would be ready no later then 2:30pm.

Scheduled appointments do not seem to matter: dropped off truck at 8am for an oil change. I was told at 11:30 it was on the rack and to wait until 1. I walked back at 1, and it wasn t even started. They told me it d be a half hour from that point, and still wasn t done at 2. Absolutely unnecessary amount of time for a simple and SCHEDULED oil change.

I'm only giving them 3 stars because Sir Charles has good customer service. Forrest on the other hand not so much....he has very bad miscommunication skills when it comes to what needs done. Not only did he not put in my appointment he also gave me all the wrong info on what was going on with my tire. Thank goodness Sir Charles made it right. Even though he didnt have to or did he have any idea that I was coming in for a tire repair.

My daughter has an older car and the tire size is not as common as it used to be. When she had a catastrophic tire failure they were able to get her tires on the same day and checked out the wheels to make sure that they were safe to drive with. They discovered a warped wheel and fortunately I had some spare wheels so we were able to get her vehicle road worthy that afternoon. They even checked out my remaining spare wheels so that I wouldn't risk installing a bad wheel on the vehicle later.

These guys are great!---NOT ANYMORE!!! If there were negative stars I'd use them! Had an oil change on our Jeep on 12-19-17 and they put divots in the oil filter cap which resulted in the leaking out of 3 quarts of oil and caused us to have to completely redo the job (We live in Shawnee) including the purchase of the new oil filter cap (A $25 item on its own, not to mention the new filter and oil) We will not be bringing any more vehicles to any Firestone.

Went in to get an oil change on my car and I walk back out to my car when it is finished and there's a good sized scrape in my hoods racing stripes and they were partly peeled up. So I go back to tell them and they try and tell me it was already there and they won't fix it. After talking to the manager he tells me to go get the quotes and he will see what he can do. No calls for 2 days so I go in and ask what happened. He tells me the quotes came back to him early the day before and that they won't pay to fix it. (I had given him my number with the quotes and had no calls.) So I wasted my time getting quotes and now I have to waste my own money to fix the car (that I just bought less than a month ago) and I feel ripped off. Definitly do not suggest going through this shop especially because they didn't even do a walk around of the vehicle. Ridiculous and I will never be using a firestone again for sure.

For those that are active duty military, retirees or dependants in need of tire repairs or new tires they offer good service and reasonable prices. If you buy tires make sure you get the road hazard protection as there is no cost for fixing a flat and 30 dollars to replace a tire. With the state of Oklahoma roads this IS a must as I have had to have 3 tires replaced in the last 2 months.

If you need an oil change and/tires only, you should be OK taking your vehicle here. If you need ANY type of maintenance work done, other than THAT, you're better off taking your vehicle to the dealership. The negative reviews are not wrong. Sir Charles will take care of you, the best he can. Brenda Hyland will take care of you, the best she can. Contacting anyone above them, is a waste of time.

Good work and customer service, but slow service due to smaller staff. Management knows most will drop off their car while at work, so manage their resources accordingly, often taking several hours for an oil change due to staff scheduling.

Thank you Chuck & Edward for the excellent customer service provided for our 2017 Ford F350 on numerous occasions. Edward's willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty by assisting with a key mishap on our part is truly inspiring, and is sincerely appreciated! I will gladly recommend your auto center to anyone needing auto services, tires, etc...

Slow, and I'd recommend against trying to use tax exemption. You would think, being on base they'd already exclude tax, but not the case. If you try to use your tax exemption, be prepared to add at least 45 min onto your wait to checkout. It's worth just paying the tax, IMO.

Great rates, satellite tv, and Wi-Fi included with the visit. Politely explains pros and cons of purchasing top name brand Tire verses the house brand. Couldn't be happier with the service. I advise earlyappointment request, because they are a popular shop.

They replaced my ac compressor and starter. It still works fine and so is the starter. Price was high but AC stuff requires specialized equipment, so I guess it worked out. Get an appointment though, these guys are super busy.
