Super helpful, upfront, and good communication. The only negative is the area they keep the cars over night is a little sketchy someone tried to pry the lock on one of my doors, no real damage but probably wouldnt want my car there over the weekend. Other than that great shop!

I HIGHLY highly highly recommend this place. I went there for the first time today. The service is incredible. I just moved to OKC and am so happy to have found a new mechanic! I will certainly be back!!!

Todd and I'm sorry I forgot the other dudes name, but anyways these guys rock. Had my car up and running the same morning. I can't say enough about this place and I highly recommend Downtown Auto Repair to all my friends, family and neighbors.

Just moved in from out of town and was in need of a mechanic close to work so I could drop my vehicle off before work and pick it up after. Very happy I chose Downtown Auto Repair. Todd is a great guy, and honest as well.I Went in for some work and mentioned that my last mechanic said I had 3,000 left on the rear brakes and asked him to check them. Came back to pick my truck up and asked Todd what he thought about the brakes. He said there is still 12k on them when he easily could have lied to me and said they were due.I will recommend this place to everyone in search of a mechanic.

Todd is an absolute savior and does great honest work. Our car started making noises after a bad bump on a long road trip and despite being busy, he told us he d be happy to take a look. He walked us through what was happening with the car, cracked some great jokes, completely fixed the problem, and sent us on our way with a smile. He took a huge weight off our shoulders and he is probably the best part of Oklahoma. Thanks Todd!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Todd and his shop my be small, but the work done at Downtown Auto Repair is second-to-none. Extremely knowledgeable, efficient and more than reasonable pricing. I had been having recurring brake problems for a couple of years and he not only solved the most obvious issues like the other shops I've been to, he looked into why they were happening and explained everything that had been happening and everything that would need to be fixed. The location is just down the street from St Anthony's in Midtown and a 10 minute walk from downtown so it was easy to drop off my car in the morning, walk to work and then walk back as soon as he finished it up. He'll definitely be my go-to shop for as long as I and my family are in OKC.Thanks Downtown Auto Repair for the best service I've ever had.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

It's a blessing to find a reliable trustworthy mechanic. Being a women and going to a shop you always get beat up with prices. Thanks to Google lol I was able to find Todd and now I didn't have to worry about any mechanic. Todd is the Best!! I never have to call my ex to help me about my car.

Todd at Downtown Auto Repair is genuinely one of the most honest, hardworking and amazing mechanics I have ever met. I have been taking my car to him for over 12 years and he always gives me advice regarding short term necessity for repairs and long-term advice (so what repairs can't wait and what can). He always calls after he has completed diagnosing the issue and will talk through cost and options. I trust him and highly recommend his work and advice. As a woman, I appreciate being regarded with respect and being educated on what to consider with car repair. I couldn't recommend the care and service at Downtown Auto Repair more.

Update: I ve now been bringing all my vehicles here for 4+ years and it has been nothing but amazing. I have never had a bad experience and Todd is just super honest and helpful. As long as he has a shop, I will bring all my vehicles to him.Great experience. Todd is a stand up mechanic. He was super nice, explained everything and I felt like he was very honest about everything. I will continue to take my Jeep here.

We have just recently "discovered" Todd and Downtown Auto Repair. We've had one of our vehicles in there for 2 different things. Todd is the best around! His knowledge is unbelievable. He pretty much diagnosed our problems over the phone, and, yes, he was right! He explains the problem and what he needs to do before he does it. He's good, fast, and doesn't charge an arm and a leg!!!!! If you're looking for an awesome mechanic, don't look any further and call Todd! You won't regret it!

Had an excellent experience here after my car broke a suspension bracket broke on the interstate while crossing the country. Todd was very helpful, honest and had me fixed up and back on the road the next morning.

My girlfriend and I took a trip to OKC recently and unfortunately had some unexpected car trouble, and swung by Downtown Auto Repair. Todd was very attentive and knowledgeable. He insured us that he could take care of a problem in a cost efficient and timely manner. He even recommended a nearby coffee and doughnut shop to pass the time. Within the 30 minutes he guaranteed a call, which we received and by the time we returned to the shop, the repair was complete and looked great. It was the best customer service I've received from a mechanic shop. Todd treated us like we knew him forever. Would recommend to others.

Learned about Todd through these Google reviews.I m ECSTATIC to say that they are all correct. Todd is knowledgeable, quicker than most mechanics, and hilarious to talk to. But most importantly, his pricing is reflective of the work he does. He is straightforward and doesn t overcharge!Would give Ten out of Five stars if I could!

Todd and Phil were so friendly. I stopped by because my ac wasn t working and I wanted another estimate. He took a few minutes to look at it immediately and tested it. It was working before we left. This was after another car shop at told me I would need to pay $1300 for a new compressor. I highly recommend.

Fast, affordable, and honest. I've used them on two occasions and been very satisfied.Update: unfortunately I had to go back a third time because my car was overheating. Even more satisfied than before. Todd is great!

These guys are the absolute best. We were traveling from NE to TX and Ran into car troubles during the night. We called first thing and they told us to swing by. They opened at 7 and we were back on the road at 8, he diagnosed and fixed the problem without hesitation. So personable! We live in Tulsa and had just left OU Children s Hospital for our son s pre-op appointment for his pending heart surgery when the electrical system started acting up. This wasn t the first time and this vehicle has had a couple of alternators but we found this place on line and he had our vehicle fixed and repaired and we were only without it for 24 hours. He was so helpful and the price was beyond reasonable. I just wish he was in Tulsa!!Service: Electrical

Todd is amazing. He will tell you that something does NOT need to be repaired and he won t upcharge parts or do other tricks to make a quick buck. He also does work on fancy cars without charging a minimum $300 like other places *cough* Mercedes dealership *cough*. I tell all of my friends to take their cars to Todd for maintenance.

I would certainly recommend this shop! I have been to many, many shops and most would just rip me off. However, this guy is very honest. My car would hardly start and I brought it to many shops and most would charge me as much as $600 for doing unnecessary things. I brought my car to Todd, and he just found out a very small problem of not having the wires securely attached to my engine. My car started very well. He is not the type of mechanic who would just charge you to fix unimportant things. After he fixed my car, he explained to me everything and I very well understood what was the problem. It was the first time I went to a mechanic and I understood everything crystal clear! Most mechanics would just hand me a $500 bill without attempting to explain or were very persuasive that they have done sophisticated stuff to fix my car but they didn't. More surprisingly, after my car was fixed, he called it even. I would certainly come back to this guy and would recommend to my friends.

This is, hands down, the best auto repair shop I have ever dealt with. Todd is very knowledgeable and extremely honest. We have been using his services for over 4 years and have had nothing but top notch service, both mechanical and customer.
