Great shop! Helped me get home for the holidays when I was in a bind. Fair on pricing and did not try to push me into repairs I did not need as I have experienced with other shops. Everyone who works there is curteous and friendly. Tried them out since they were local and am not disappointed. Will be back for any future repairs!

Firestone was going to charge $1048 for a refurbished alternator and the labor to change it. In my frustration, I called around and met Anthony at DAR&L. He told me I was getting screwed and that he could do the same work and get a brand new part for $618. That they did and in a days time.Support local businesses and professionals who shoot you straight and do good work. They deserve it and you ultimately get a better product and service.

Came here on a Saturday because I was in need of a quick oil change! I usually use one business for my oil changes & other services, but every location was booked up. Discount Lube changed my oil within 15 mins & the manager (I believe) was very informative & kind by just giving me some pointers & explaining things to me regarding my car. Pretty sure I got the synthetic oil change ($48) instead of the full synthetic oil change ($72). They are transparent about pricing & what they re doing to your car-I recommend this place especially if you are in a pinch when needing an oil change. Thanks guys! :)

I always went to Hibdon for an oil change. $75.00for a oil change seemed high. Discount Lube did it for $39.95. What a great place. Needed a new alternator and Anthony did a fabulous job. This is a place that everyone should go to.

Was having a horrible day and my car acts like it is on its last breath. Gasping for air. I only stopped at this place because it was across the street from my work. Anthony went above and beyond to help me. See, I m driving my dads car and he had been in the hospital for 18 days at this point. I could not just call him and him it was broken. I just wanted it fixed. Anthony stayed in contact with me. Offered to show me everything that was wrong with it. He was honest and reliable. Had my car fixed same day. Will continue to take my car there. Doesn t look like much but the people there are great and they are knowledgeable. Will continue to take my car there. Great prices and timely service.

Just wanted to say I appreciate you guys (Daniel)for putting up with my car problems I kept having with that Kia Soul. This auto repair shop is top notch! I've taken my car here twice; once for engine work and once for axles. They do quality work that doesn't have me questioning it. My vehicle has been running great months later and if anything else came up I'd definitely bring it back here again. Prices seemed very reasonable and with the an explanation of the exact services I needed I was able to get a quote over the phone. Work was done quickly and the business had plenty of vehicles in queue. I highly recommend this business they worked on my Honda ridgeline several times. Fixing my AC and power steering pump replacement. Daniel is an awesome guy always gets me in and out does great work and you can t beat the prices. Glad I found them two years ago. I will definitely continue to give them my business. Had a power steering issue on my Honda Pilot and the Honda dealership quoted me a ridiculous price to repair it. I took it to Discount Auto and Repair, and not only was the service top notch, but they quoted me a price that was more than reasonable in my opinion. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good local shop!

This is by far the fairest fastest mechanics around. They will tell you the honest truth about what needs to be done and won t over charge you for parts or labor. Absolutely atrocious in every way. Took my car in because the check engine, ABS, traction control, and AT oil temp lights began to flash and the vehicle temp began to rise while I was driving. They said it was my transmission valve body so we bought a new one and sent it to them. They called me to said it was fixed so we paid them $500 and the second we turned the car on it was still doing the same thing! They clearly didn t drive around the car to confirm everything was okay or run any tests. All they needed to do was turn on the car to know it wasn t fixed but they didn t. They said they d try to order a specific part for the body valve to replace it but that still didn t work. My car was there for a month and all they did was charge me $500 for nothing. We took the car to take it to another shop but now the car isn t shifting from first gear when before we took it here the only thing wrong was the lights and temp the gears were fine. Why it took them a month to tell me they couldn t fix it and each time I called all they said was oh we ll get to it in about a week . I even followed up with the company that we purchased the transmission valve body from and when they asked me what was wrong with it and for pictures I had to call discount lube 3 times a week for 3 weeks before they d tell me what was wrong with it or send me photos. The entire time it felt like they just didn t want to bother with it and wouldn t tell me what was going on with the car. Never take your car here their integrity is horrific and they clearly don t follow through to ensure if they actually fixed your car they ll just waste your money and time.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

Word of mouth is how I found this place. I can count on them to fix the problem and get me back on the road efficiently. Reasonably priced and excellent customer service. Will be a long term customer. always recommend when asked for a good mechanic.

Had a friend helping me with some work and received the dreaded phone call that he broke down and limped into the gas station. It was overheating due to a radiator problem that was slowly getting worse. I ve changed a couple radiators but wasn t looking forward to trying it in a parking lot 30 minutes from home and maybe not having correct tools. But by a blessing from God and the sweet spirit of a man, Daniel noticed the hood popped on my old work truck. He stopped to see if he could help. I decided to take a chance, mostly because of his act of kindness. So we limped it another .4 miles and Ends up this guy is a brilliant mechanic and got it fixed so fast im afraid to post the time. The labor price was very reasonable and he allowed me to pick up the part locally so it sped up the repair and there was no question of markup on the part. I could say more, but if you find yourself in trouble with a vehicle, I recommend Daniel at Discount Lube.

I've been coming for over a year & every time I come, they are always kind & helpful. Today, though, I was told I had no transmission fluid by Jason, but he did more than that he showed me. He went through a small leak I had & what I needed to do to fix it.

A week after they said they fixed everything a ball joint went and it has been several months since I ve been depressed about it. Called today and they aren t really interested in working with me. They definitely charge more, do less, and you re left feeling screwed for thousands in waste. Daniel takes care of all my cars. I took both of my cars and had engine work done on my mine and switch on my cougar. Was done in a timely fashion. And a great price on both. I went in today around noon for an oil change. Moe the owner came out introduced himself and was extremely professional and courteous. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Mo said he's rented the space for the past 8 years. It is a mom and pop shop where they care about the work they do and want to make sure you're taking care of so you come back. Besides oil changes they also do mechanic work in the back shop. I highly recommend them over a chain like take five that charges you $100 and pay some poor guy $10 an hour. The workers don't care if they mess up your car or not or if the lever see you again whereas Moe and his team care very much whether you're satisfied. Their business depends on it. And he only charged me $45 for 6.5 qts of a Castrol synthetic blend oil change and filter. If you want to keep it local and support and ethical honest family business I can't recommend a better place. Thank you, Moe and the discount auto repair team.

Called many mechanics around OKC metro (I had an issue with camshaft position sensor) and very glad I chose this one. Daniel is upfront, honest, and friendly. He took the time to answer my questions & provide explanation in detail. He is very nice! I will be returning in future for any mechanic needs.
