I never write reviews but this is the WORST place ever. If you value your time and money please go elsewhere. Scott hung up on us 3 different times when asking questions about our car and after being confronted about it in person said he didn t do it and continued to have a nasty attitude. If you don t like your job QUIT!!! People here don t appreciate your time or possible business. I recommend the EDMOND location instead, much better service

If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. I took my vehicle in on November 20th, 2, and 1/2 weeks later, they told me I needed my catalytic converter, replaced. Almost another week, the catalytic converter is on, but somehow, now my motor is locked up. I asked them how, but they don't know, I get, "We don't know, that's never happened before." I asked the guy to find a new motor to put in it, he calls me back 15 minutes later and says he found one but it would be way cheaper for them to go in and just find the problem and fix it. I agree to it. Finally, after all the back and forth, on January 11th, they say it's done. Almost $7200.00. I ended up having to take it back because the check engine light came on, and none of the lights, locks, anything on the inside worked. A few days later, I get it back, and it's in worse shape than when we dropped it off in November. I paid $7200 for a vehicle I can not drive. I will never use Aamco again, and I will share this review everywhere to warn others. They completely ruined my vehicle, and now I'm out $7200.00 and a vehicle.

In the time it took for me to get an appointment for a trans fluid change. I was able to find out what I needed to do it, get the tools and change it myself and change it myself. Nice people im sure but their system is struggling.

Great deal compared to their competitors. They told us it would be a good 2-3 weeks for repairs, which would be expected for a new transmission, but they over-delivered and called me back within a week. Great service and great price!

I had an oil change done somewhere else and the guy told me I needed $3500 worth of work done. I took my car to Scott at AAMCO for a second opinion and he told me all I needed was new shocks, struts, and a sway bar. My total at AAMCO was $1900.AAMCO has trustworthy service, and they're very knowledgeable.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair

This place told us that they would diagnose the noise in our vehicle for free if we had our vehicle fixed there. We took it in. They told us that it was the transmission. We spent a total of $4000 to replace it. Got my car back and it was making the same noise. I talked to several people in management including managers at other locations and upper management. I was told they would get with the owners and get back with me and figure out a way to make it right. I had another mechanic look at it and they showed me that the noise was never the transmission it was a wheel bearing and a few other front end things. I still have not gotten that call back and it s been weeks. My car is still not fixed and the cost of repair at this point is another $1700 to fix the actual problem that I took it in for. Trust is a huge thing with customer service. I do not feel that as a customer I can trust this place with my financial or physical safety.

Long story short took it in for a minor issue they came back and wanted 4k to remove the transmission and clutch and said that might not even fix the issue when asked for a printout estimate I was told they cannot give it to me and refuse to I don't see how a minor issue turned into a 4 thousand Plus this is the one on Southwest 89th and Western will not go back do not trust them

Aramco is a reliable company overall. However, this location kept my car for 4 days while neglecting to call me and keep tabs. I made the initial call to see what would be a good time to bring my car in and told them what the diagnostic machine at auto zone said. So I took off work the next day and brought it in when they opened. Called around 1:30 pm to see where they were at with it. They said they hadn't started on it yet. No one could be bothered to call me and say, "hey, we are gonna have to keep your car for a few days, therefore you might want to make arrangements." No one there took it into consideration that I would be without a car for a total of 4 days. And I had to make every single call to get updated. Very frustrating when I was on the 2nd week of a new job.

We had our transmission replaced recently and, except for needing our transmission repaired, it was a pleasant experience. They have great customer service, very friendly! As a young woman with no prior knowledge of vehicle repair, I'm always so uneasy taking my vehicle to a shop and potentially being taken advantage of. Sam took his time explaining the mechanisms to me and making sure I was totally informed on what repairs I need and why exactly I needed them. The diagnosis took half an hour. When I got my vehicle back the very next day it was clear to me that the techs took care not to drag mud or debris into my floor boards. I had a great experience here and would absolutely recommend.

I ve took both my cars here Amy they do amazing work and are very friendly you never have to worry if they will do good because they always make sure they do amazing work and they will let u kno every step of the way thank you guys so much :)))))))

They did the diagnosis for free. Sam was very informative & he helped me get setup with the financing for my repairs. The price for my rebuilt transmission was within my budget. If it wasn't for the financing, my vehicle wouldn't be running right. My vehicle was ready when they said it would be. My baby runs great now. I appreciate what you guys did for me!!

BEWARE!! They neglected to tell my I needed to replace my transmission oil cooler when I was replacing the transmission which lead to a very violate blow up in June. My family and I where stranded in TX for hours before figuring out how to get us home safely. After a month van was ready. 6 days later took in back in because it was leaking. Now I was told we needed a needed new oil cooler. He said he went ahead and replaced it no charge. Van still leaking took it back in four time. Every time was told they looked it over and its fine. Called Tuesday. Now a new manager. Sam was moved to a different store. Took it back in. Was told it needed a new oil cooler because the fluid was reading 250 degrees. I told them I was told it had already been replaced and they told me no, that Sam had in fact done nothing to my van the last two months. . I was told they will talk to Sam about this and said well we didn't charge you for the oil cooler so that's all the compensation you get. I would have payed to have that replace in the beginning. The blow up was scaring and Im lucky I didn't wreak. This took our whole summer from us and was lied to for two months. I reached out to corporate twice and was told the owner would call me. He never did. Just know that the warranty doesn't mean you. You are left on the side of the road to fend for yourself, and they can hold your car hostage for as long as they want and lie to your face about everything. The only comfort I can get out of all this is one day the will have to answer to the big man. Lying, cheating and taking advantage people just to make themselves more money. They should be ashamed.

Sam and his crew were exceptional! I had to repair the transmission in my luxury SUV. Their professionalism, expertise, and great customer service helped what could have been a very stressful situation MUCH easier. I appreciate their attention to detail in explaining my vehicle s trouble to me. Sam s heart for the customer and awesome customer service is a cut above all the rest. Got transmission rebuilt along with new suspension and replaced engine gaskets, had my car back within 3 days, worked with me on pricing, and had a pleasant customer experience overall. Will 10/10 bring my vehicle back here for maintenance. Ask for Sam, he'll look out for you and your vehicle.

I can highly recommend Sam and his crew. They were absolutely great. We feel that we received the best care for our SUV possible at a very fair price. I am happy to say that we have found our favorite repair shop for all our vehicles.

Really disappointed. 2013 Camry has shuddering issues between gears, known issue for 2012-14 Camry s with a faulty torque converter (TC), there s a service bulletin out for it. My main mechanic said to ask a transmission place for a quote on the TC. I came here and said I think the TC needs to be replaced. I was told I shouldn t believe everything I read online. They ran some tests, didn t have a definitive answer. Told me they could try to replace the spark plugs and ignition coil. Funny story, I replaced the spark plugs ONE WEEK earlier because I thought that would be a cheap fix. Went to a certified Toyota dealer and they said it s the TC, but it s out of warranty. Too bad, I would have paid AAMCO $2000 to replace the TC, but now I ll never come here again.

So I Just left a review for Norman Aamco. Do not go to that one. As of right now this Aamco has been awesome. They are fixing my car. Told me it would take a while to get it looked at wasn't expecting a call till the next morning but 3 hours after they received my car I got an update and already knew what was wrong with my car but still really nice to hear from them regarding my car. So far they have been really helpful and I am so grateful for the help they are offering. As of right now I do not have my car back yet but I will update as soon as I do get it back and say how well my car is running.Got my car back last week. Been driving great no noises what so ever and has not given me any problems. Thank you guys for the work.

Who would ever believe that they could experience over-the-top customer service at a Car Care Center? But this AAMCO Store does just that!!!Not only will this be the only place that I bring my car for service in the future, I will also recommend that my friends and family do the same!Manager Sam Lively is the epitome of exemplary leadership for this team as well as care for his customers. He made today's experience so much easier than I had expected it would be.

Took my car last year to get a new transmission put in. Was told over the phone which was, recorded by them, that the price would be $1,000. When they called and said the car was ready, they told me the price was $11,000. When I asked why the priced changed, they said it never did. Then I asked about the automatic recording they had and they said that check is the original phone call was recorded. When they came back to the call, the recording was "never there".

I had my transmission fixed here. They did did an excellent job. They worked with me on the finances. I am very pleased with the professionalism, and the service that I received. When I have any other repairs that I need done I will take my car there. I recommend them to anyone!

This AAMCO location is on point just as much as their Norman store. The manager Sam was beyond professional and explained in detail what steps on my break system had already been done and what we were waiting for. He never quoted me an outrageous time and had me on the road with new break pads, rotors, fluid flush and stabilizer mounts. All told they were on par with everyone else or better with greater service! Thanks guys!

I was quoted (initially) $4500 for a repair my car needed. A few days later, I was quoted $4200, but after tax it would come up to $4600. This was AFTER I was told they knocked off $300 on the original quote (so, was supposed to be $4800). After I got a second quote that brought the price down to $3000, I wondered why I was quoted $4500 initially. When I informed Sam (the AAMCO representative I had been dealing with) that I was going to take my business elsewhere because the price was better, he said he could do it for $3000. My issue was that if he could do it for that much this whole time, why was he charging me so much more? I insisted that I was going to take it elsewhere and he slid my keys across the counter to me and said "Just remember, you get what you pay for." in a very condescending tone. To which I thought, he just offered to do it for $3000, does that mean he was going to do a worse job because of it?After the tow truck arrived to move my car, he came to the parking lot and started giving a hard time to the Tow Truck driver. He was rushing him and being very stand-offish. The Tow Truck driver was just doing a job I paid him to do. He should not have been treated with such disrespect.Overall, I would not recommend using this place if you can help it. IF you do, at least make sure you get a second opinion and use that for negotiate yourself a better price.

It is hard to find honest help at a reasonable price these days. I have a 2011 Ford F150 5.0 with 183,000 miles on it. I recently had my oil changed at a Take 5 Oil Change on Reno and Council near my work. At about 60 miles after the oil change, I lost oil pressure and the check engine light came on. Fearing the worst, I was able to get my truck to this AAMCO location and Richard took care of my vehicle for me. Long story short, the mechanic (Travis) identified that a faulty oil filter installed by Take 5 was the reason for the oil pressure loss. These symptoms could have easily accumulated a bill into the hundreds and/or thousands of dollars at a less honest place of business. I was able to get my issue resolved for less than $55.00 and get reimbursed for my oil change at Take 5 as well. Richard and Travis are great people that provide great customer service!

These guys know what they're doing. Sam is great guy, very knowledgeable and understanding as well. Sent my car in think it was one thing and Sam was honest with me when he could've just did what I asked him to do and not told me what the actual problem was. The only place in OKC that I'll leave my car with knowing it's in good hands.

Sam is on point. Had my son's Juke towed to him for clutch repair. Parts/services were explained in full, including "additional" items that MAY be needed once they get it pulled apart. Repair work went exactly as described upon drop off. Great place to do business, and tough to beat a nationwide warranty on the services. Also, they will ask that you bring the vehicle back within 7-10 days so they can verify everything's performing like it should. That's customer service, and many businesses have lost that. Thanks Sam/AAMCO! Awesome job!

This is an easy 5 star review. My big thing is always customer service. Even if you make a mistake I can over look it if it is corrected. Talked with Sam who was professional and personalable back in November about getting the Transmission BG service for my Silverado. He quoted me a price. When I went to pickup my truck the price was diffrent. Unfortunately Sam was out sick so I waited and called a couple days later. Sam not only apologized but he also corrected the issue. His attention alone to customer service is the reason I brought my wife's car in for the same service. Every time I have called or gone in I have been greeted with professionalism. Sam takes his time to answer any questions you have. He doesnt rush you into anything and he makes sure to be detailed on what will be done. Both times I have taken my vehicles in . They have been returned same day. He may not he able to do that everytime but I can tell you that this location will do their best to make it happen.

Excellent customer service! Sam is always super helpful and kind. This is the 2nd time they ve fixed my ford taurus and they have very reasonable pricing. The 1st time i needed my car fixed I called around for quotes and they were the cheapest. I ll be coming here for all of my car fixing needs.
