My family and I have been going to Ron s for a combined 40+ years (my in-laws included in this figure!). They went above and beyond to get my car in a moment s notice to change out the battery so I could get on my way. Thank you Ron s staff for going above and beyond what s expected for your customers!

Poor professionalism. Very disappointing situation with Ron's today. They kept my wife's car for 2 days looking at why the car wasn't turning over smoothly when starting it. They called us today to tell us that they couldn't find an issue and that she could come pick it up. She gets there and all of the sudden there is a $500+ radiator issue?? Not a good look for several reasons. One being, they had the car 2 days and didn't see that before? After my wife called me in tears wondering if she had just been ripped off, I calmly called Ron's to get the story. Whoever answered clearly didn't care about the whole situation and couldn't even offer an apology. I have been a customer of Ron's for many, many years and still stand by them, but some of their employees need to learn the importance of falling on your sword now and then and apologizing. I won't judge Ron's off one bad apple, every business has one or two, but it was still disappointing, since my family are big Ron's fans.

This place is great!! We had taken my sons truck to another shop and they had quoted $4500 for a transmission control module. We then took the truck to Ron s and they fixed it with a cam sensor replacement! Total amount saved: $4200!!! Cannot praise these guys enough for being honest in a situation that they could ve taken advantage of us. Definitely recommend Matt and Stacy to help you with any auto needs! This is our new go-to shop for anything auto related issues going forward!

I had Ron s give me a second opinion about a Dealerships diagnosis. They told me there were no problems and explaining detail why they felt that way.

Went there to have a part replaced and provided them with the part. They said it was done and just before getting in the car to leave, I noticed the new bolts for the replacement part were still in the car.Long story short, the mechanic that worked on my car didn't know what stretch bolts were, admitted to not torquing the bolts to spec, and his manager said it wasn't necessary to replace the stretch bolts.These folks didn't bother asking about the bolts that came with the part, didn't follow proper replacement procedure, and arrogantly espoused false information. You couldn't pay me to take my car there again.

Ron s Automotive garage has been my go-to shop for my 1998 Crown Victoria since I bought it as a used car in 2003. They do my maintenance and repair work on it. It now has 317,000+ miles on it.They take care my car like it is their own.Their prices are reasonable, their explanations of the car s needs are clear, their service manager is patient and attentive to any concerns I have, and their workmanship is excellent.I ve been their customer for 20 years and.With their care, my car operates like it did when I bought it. Ron's helped me out in a dire situation.We were on our way back to North Dakota from Houston TX when I heard a noise from the front wheel. They diagnosed the problem immediately and got us on our way in an hour.They are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend this shop if you are in the area! 10 out of 10

Update from 5 years later! They are still completely trash bags thieves! Caught red headed again when they tried to charge my friend 4 times what a part cost and 10 hours on a 2 flag hour job.

Ron's has never let me down in any way! I have been going to them for over 20yrs and everyone there has always been honest with me....and without trying to "sell" me something I didn't go in for, want or need. I have referred many people to them who in turn have been 100% beyond happy with them. I will continue to give them my business whenever I need help! Keep it up Ron...you and your staff are the BEST! Always the BEST!!I have been using Ron s Automotive for many years. They have always been fairly priced, had professional customer service, quick and complete service not to mention ride to and from their shop. They always greet us with a smile and answer all my questions, and I ask a lot! I have recommended MANY friends and family to Ron s, most are now customers. All of their qualified technicians can work on whatever ails your automotive. Be a car, truck or service vehicle, which I ve seen there for repair. Stop by for a simple oil change, brake job, engine, heat and air, radiator, shocks, struts, tires, plugs and wires, yes even transmission repairs, you won t be disappointed, and if so they ll fix that too! Their quick response to your needs and concerns will be professionally and promptly examined and diagnosed. I HIGHLY recommend them and so will you. I brought in an older car that was having transmission problems, and told them exactly what was happening. They misdiagnosed the problem as engine mount failure. $1000 later, my car still has the same transmission problems. Luckily, I have since found a couple of more reliable and honest auto shops. Message me if you need their info, It sucks to waste ones time and money at a place that is either incompetent or dishonest.

I live in Tulsa and my daughters attend OU. We rely on Ron's to take care of any issues we have with their vehicles. They do not recommend unnecessary repairs and the pricing is very competitive. Wonderful! We were caught needing a mechanic during a road trip. It is so hard to find a good place when you don t know the area!The service here was great, Completely honest and knowledgeable. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain things thoroughly so that we can make it safely to our destination and back and make major fixes when we get home.100% recommended!

I have been going to Ron's for 10 years for everything involving my cars maintenance and repair. They were usually busy and weren't always the cheapest, but they'd always done a fantastic job so I was fine with both. Recently I went in for an oil change. The place was packed, so I asked a newer guy at the counter if I'd be able to get in that day. He laughed in my face and said there was no chance. When I asked about setting an appointment for the following week, he laughed in my face again and said I could try showing up first thing Monday or Tuesday but they wouldn't do an appointment for that as it wasn't worth their time.Maybe your business will mean more to them than mine did.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes, Oil change

Ron s Automotive is truly a gem! About two years ago I was stranded about 20 miles south of Norman and Ron s Automotive was the closest tow location. They took care of my car and were extremely communicative. Just this week, my car had another issue so I drove almost an hour so they could work on my car again! They also have an awesome warranty on their services. Highly recommend them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been taking my vehicles to Ron's for 20 years. They are always helpful, polite and *fast* in getting repairs done. They are transparent and patient with their explanations and won't try to fool you or take advantage of your automotive ignorance. The only "drawback" is they are a little more expensive than some of the other automotive repair people around, but their quality, integrity, reliability and swiftness are unmatched in the industry. You get what you pay for, and in the long run you'll definitely save money.

I have used Ron s Automotive for several vehicles over a five year plus span. Ron s has not failed to demonstrate honesty in their diagnostics and subsequent repair, as well as what seems to be reasonable cost. My recent repair on a Toyota P/U resulted in the need to return for the same problem. The problem was identified immediately as faulty parts from a distributor. Ron s replaced all faulty parts at no cost to me, but at a considerable labor cost to themselves. Their demonstrated expertise and their Attention to their integrity and good will toward their customers will insure my return in the future. A family member recommended we try Ron's when our 2007 Volvo V70 had a sudden issue. From our first interaction, they were incredibly patient and kind while I tried to explain our issue with probably less than basic car knowledge. They gave me a few ideas of what the initial problem might be, estimated a completion time and cost, and kept me posted several times through the process. The slightly higher price for parts and labor felt fair considering how quick and transparent they were, and when a completely understandable hiccup happened with the repair that led us to have to return a few more times to finally figure out the tiny detail we all missed, they completed every single follow-up visit immediately and with no charge to us. I felt very respected, was back to driving quickly, and am pleased to return here if and when we need help with either of our cars. By the way, it's very challenging finding any shop that will even work on European luxury cars, let alone treat it like it was no big deal since their guys are more than capable of working with a variety of vehicles. Glad we didn't have to pay primo prices for our little station wagon.EDIT TO INCLUDE ADDITIONAL REVIEW:I've reviewed Ron's before, but I feel like I just have to share more of their good work. We had been planning a strut replacement for some time while saving up for it. After a spontaneous road trip made it into our calendar we had to get it serviced quickly before then. Ron's ordered our parts really quickly, and when we brought the car in on Tuesday afternoon, they had it finished near the end of day on Wednesday. Accurate price estimate and done perfectly, with no hassling about anything other than what was scheduled, with the kindest staff you could imagine. What more do you need? To make the entire repair 10 times better, when we took the car in to Hibdon for an alignment (since they do a 6 month alignment warrantee we already paid for) the manager made a point to specifically point out that they had never seen a better strut replacement in their entire career, that it was all but completely aligned already. You know your mechanic did a stellar job when another mechanic compliments it spontaneously.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I'm the third generation of my family to use Ron's as my primary mechanic. They have been nothing but wonderful to me and my husband. Always helpful, always communicative about the car issues and they always call before they jump into anything so you know what is going on. Men of integrity, cannot recommend them enough.

Ron's always listens to my problems with the car and checks them out. My routine care for the car is painless. They send me an email and I make an appointment at my convenience or drop it by whichever suits my schedule. I love the flexibility and I appreciate the peace of mind after they are finished knowing that the work is done right. .

This auto shop is awesome, my husband and I were headed down to Texas from Missouri when our water pump and timing belt broke about 14 miles south of Norman, Ok. The tow truck guy brought us here, and when we told them the situation and that we were now stranded they dropped what they were doing and started working on our car. To make a long story short 4 hours later we were back on the road. This place is honest and does good business, if I lived closer I would use them for all my car problems. Thanks to them we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation with no more car problems, thanks again, you guys do great work!

Called because we needed to check antifreeze and they said come on overand they did it right there on the spot no charge. They are fast and friendly and go the extra mile for their customer! 100% trust! Have used them for at least ten years on various auto problems from oil change to fixing car after hitting a deer! Absolutely love them!

After hearing the Porsche dealer charges around $280 an oil change, I took my beloved vintage 944 to Ron's instead. After changing the oil for a very reasonable price, they called to tell me that they needed it back because they had discovered that some fluid was leaking. They sent a tow truck, took it back, fixed the leak, and brought it back to me. I am super impressed with their customer service! Thank you!
