Mills wasted several months of my time. Their office communication is quite terrible and not reliable. I first contacted them in early July 2022 about repairs for our vehicle (and emailed the insurance paperwork as requested). I was told they were working about 6-7 weeks out -- late August. After not hearing anything, I contacted them multiple times via email/phone through October. I was told multiple times over the phone August-October that the office person would contact me that same day -- that never happened and they never once reached out to me. Mills was on a 'preferred shop list' from my insurance company -- I've encouraged my insurer to review that relationship.

Body shop had my car for 2 months and when I got the vehicle back it still was not fixed correctly. They forgot the emblem on the pinstriping of the vehicle so now I have two mismatched fenders. When I called and spoke to the owner mr. Mill's he pretty much told me to get over it because my car was 20 years old before he hung up the phone. Terrible customer service would not recommend.Service: Body & Trim

I had a great experience with Mills and the process of getting my car fixed was seamless and easy. I was involved in a car accident and Mills took care of everything, including working with my insurance. Binx in the front office is so kind over the phone and in person, and kept me updated. I'm sorry. I hate leaving these kind of reviews, but it boils down to one individual in this organization. I believe Binks was the name. Person that I originally talked with was all about customer service and getting me taken care of and securing my business. It was offered, not per my request, to have the car damage estimated on the tow lot to avoid towing over a totaled vehicle. I was more than happy with this resolution and so was the insurance company. They weren't able to do it Friday, but said they would get there Monday or Tuesday. We had ice/sleet this week (the following week), so understood delays on Tuesday. Wednesday was pretty clear, so called to inquire. I was told they would get with the owner and have him call me. Never happened. Called today to see if they got there and all I got was excuses and conflict. Wasn't looking for a fight, just wanted my estimate or a reasonable expectation of time. I was then rudely told we normally don't go to appraise on the lot. Recall above, I said it was offered to avoid towing a totaled car to their lot. I got a call back that they would do it on Monday. I then explained that this was offered, I did not request. Then got a lot attitude about how I had never talked to her and she's trying to gather information. I told her that I was not calling to get in a fight and only explaining why it was mentioned. She proceeded to tell me she was doing the same and I didn't listen. I knew at this point I can't swallow my pride and let it go. I've lost a week on this vehicle repair and I don't need to lose sleep and health over it as well. Best to move on. Bottom-line, there is no communication internally. Whoever I talked to didn't communicate, report or note anything, or someone is casting blame. If they had followed through, I might have found out their quality of work, but I never got that far. Wish things had gone further, but in the end I believe I avoided much frustration. If Binks isn't related, the owner should take a hard look at their customer service. BTW, my insurance company claimed they had contacted them twice with no response. Said they had to talk to someone called Binks concerning the claim.

I scheduled an appointment back in Dec. 2021 for 3/14/22 to have a body panel replaced. Never heard a word from the shop so i called that day to see about dropping the vehicle off. I was told panel was not "in" (the ball had obviously been dropped) and that the issue would be researched and I would be called back. That didn't happen.I'm making this review a 3 instead of 1 since I had a prior good experience(other than the quality of some of the parts) working with Garold and also current situational factors. The female co-owner has a bit of a hateful attitude and she did not appear to care about my business. My advice to people is find a shop that does.Service: Body & Trim

I brought my car in to get an estimate to repair my dented fender. I was told 4 to 6 days. As it turned out it took 12 days, was 24% over the estimate and it cost me $55 each day for car rental. Caveat emptor!Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

They were able to fix my bumper within days and it looks so great! They even detailed the inside of my car plus washed and waxed it and left a color sample for me! We missed their call on Friday afternoon to pick it up so when I called back right before they closed, the friendly lady took my credit card over the phone and left the keys out for me so I wouldn't have to go the weekend without my car. Great customer service and reasonable prices!

My car got hit in the beginning of October. I was asked specifically to go to this shop, so I did. Mills never emailed the insurance company a copy of the estimate. I called again to ask, and Mills said they typed his email wrong. No biggie. I repeated the email, it was corrected , and a few days went by and still no email ever showed up.I called Mills every week for a month, or close to. It was the end of November when I said to hell with it and went somewhere else. The place I should ve went to all along, but I was trying to be cooperative since the person who hit my car was kind enough to tell me they accidentally hit it, I was in the house when it happened, and recommended mills.Needless to say, the insurance agent never heard from Mills, and the morning I took my jeep to a different shop, the adjuster had the email THAT evening. Incredible. That shop had my car handled in two weeks total, where as Mills never even had the courtesy to send an email to an insurance adjuster. Even after the wrong email address was corrected . Something fishy definitely was going on with that. Recommend to go to Mills, and then never having my estimate emailed to the INSURANCE ADJUSTER.I send emails everyday. With and without attachments. It s not that hard, nor is there any need or EXCUSE for an email to take that long to send. I absolutely do not recommend Mills to anyone. Period.Service: Body & Trim

Garold and his wife are phenomenal people. Their staff is both professional and helpful. We have taken our cars to them for years-- and am always grateful for careful evaluation, fair estimates, and help. Started off great, but had a huge pricing difference between their estimate and many others. The lady on the phone said we could remove that part of the estimate. She then called back About 15 minutes later and said never mind , if we can t do that item we will not do the job when I called back to ask why the lady got very flustered and irritated with me for asking questions. She then said that the guy who knows what he s talking about is busy and could not talk now and would call back soon Well that guy called and also seemed to be very irritated with me having questions on his estimate is opposed to the others. It s very dismissive and quick to you get rid of me instead of explaining things. After he finally did get around to the short explanation he was basically over the conversation. I felt like it s a labor grab but whatever I guess.Was looking forward to supporting a small family own shop but at least I can say I tried.

Absolutely fantastic!! Honest, efficient and they were very well at getting the job done when they said. I went to service king first and they tried to overcharge me and were mad when I asked for an estimate with market value parts. Mills body were way more reasonable. I will always take my vehicles here!!

I was referred to this auto body shop by an excellent mechanic. The reviews were great so I decided to give them a call. I've called them multiple times trying to get a quote. The receptionist constantly has to ask someone else and "call back" with the response. I gave up on getting a quote and asked if I could bring the car in. Another "ask and call back". I didn't get a call back so I tried again. They answered, acknowledged it was me, then I was disconnected. 4 days later and still no "call back". I'm over it. I really had high hopes for this place, but the professionalism is awful. If the customer service is this poor, I can only imagine the body work is half-baked as well. I'm a cash customer and i'm taking my business elsewhere.

Went to 3 different body shops in Norman, estimates at the other 2 were extremely high. Mill's quote was way under everyone else's estimate, and when everything was said and done I paid less than the quoted amount. The workmanship was top notch and my car looks great. I highly recommend getting an estimate here if you need body work done.

I came in because my trunk wasn t closing and has been that way for months. Garold looked at it for less than 5 minutes and had it fixed. And when I asked how much I owed he said nothing, and he was extremely nice, helpful, and professional. Definitely the best body shop I have visited, and will be back!

Go here! Everyone else overcharges. Excellent customer service! My car got wrecked and the mechanic buffed out all the scratches, detailed and washed my car on top of what I asked him to do which was replacing my door. Outstanding! Will definitely return .

Great service and honest work. Gave me a fair estimate while not trying to sell me any service that was not needed. Repair was done within 2 days and fixed all known issues. I highly recommend them for car repair and plan on using them again for future repairs.

Office staff is straight up incompetent, and rude to boot. She seems to think because she is married to the owner that she doesn't have to provide a basic level customer service. Uppity, rude, and apparently a right wing loon to boot. NEVER AGAIN.

I brought in our shuttle that we use to take students to and from campus with the front passenger-side door not working. They were able to get me in that day, which was extremely fortunate considering it was the only day we could take it up there. They were extremely helpful and showed me exactly what was wrong with the door. Reasonably priced with awesome customer service! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Ok, we bought a brand spankin' new car a few weeks ago- like, it's still so new that it has the paper tags on it- yay us.Yesterday, my hubby was leaving the employee parking lot behind my building when the security gate arm came down on back window of the car, bounced off, & came down again on the trunk. He immediately contacted the parking office and risk management, and they said they'd fix it (thank goodness for security footage, BTW).We had to get some estimates to give to insurance, so we went to 3 places in Norman. The 1st place quoted us $1802 The 2nd place quotes us $1392 - both places said we'd need a new back window, trunk lid, quarter panel, etc. (because the glass and trunk were "gouged"), AND they'd need to keep the car at least 3 days. The 3rd place, Mills Body Shop, said it would ONLY BE $37 to buff out the rubber streaks left by the foam on the security arm. Sure enough, it buffed out with absolutely no trace of anything- no lumps, divots, scratches, or creases- in both the back window and the body of the car!!!I'm so impressed with their honesty and attention to detail, I just had to pass it on!

I have used the services of Mills Body Shop three times during the past 28 years, the last one a few days back. I have always found that they do quality work at reasonable rates. A delay of a few days is inevitable if the auto parts have to be ordered from different places. My daughter had an accident in OKC during an ice storm. I was referred to this body shop by a local ABAT Certified Body Shop in Henderson, Texas (Burl's Collision). They handled her case with such professional care. From the initial conversation to notification of total, Mills Body Shop was fantastic.We highly recommend this family owned business!!!

If you are looking for a body shop for your car, this is one of the good shop in Norman, Ok to consider. The people working there are nice. They provide estimate for hail damage and collision damage.

Used mills to redo my rave first he told us when it would be done he liedHade a statement for price he lied .said he would pay for rent car he lied.Color on car did no match he lied. Said he would buff car he lied.Said he would buff out my headlights he lied. I would not LET him paint my bicycleWas not good R Patterson

I went to Firestone for an estimate before coming here, and Mills was about 1,000 less, not to mention super friendly, fantastic service and they got my car out with in a week! I would absolutely come here if I needed any work!

I took my 1999 SS Camero to this shop for repairs done by a wrecker towing my car. The repair took longer than I expected but in the end I was pleasantly surprised to to see a exceptional job and I highly recommend Mills body shop.

I have had several things done with Mr. Mills over the years. Excellent paint and body work. I would not go any where else. As family owned business makes a difference
