Michael and his team at Alpine are the ONLY sports car experts in the central OK metro area that we will allow to service our Italian cars. We own a Fiat 500 & an Abarth 124 Spider. Alpine is knowledgeable, fast, and communication is easy and timely. We ve had both repairs & normal maintenance performed by Alpine, and we re always pleased.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

I had my car serviced and treated here, and Michael was very upfront with everything and helpful. It's hard to find a place that you can fully trust to work on something you value and have them make you feel comfortable through the process. I'll be back for other work when the time comes.

We ve used Alpine before and Mike treated us fairly and got the problem fixed. Mike treats you like you want to be treated and he s very professional in diagnosing your vehicle. I let a cheap fast oil change place change the oil last time (thinking to save money with the extra convenience). Turns out they stripped the bolt on my oil pan. With an X3, it s not a DIY. The X3 needed a new pan. Priced elsewhere about the same. Mike had it done in three days. He stood behind it. X3 rides again, she s so happy! Will be a new regular as I have another BMW (1998 740i) and it needs maintenance. Thank you, Mike. The mechanics at Alpine Motorsport did a great job with doing an oil change and a thorough inspection my car to make sure my car was performing at its peak performance.I would recommend Alpine Motorsport for any auto maintenance work. In a time where it feels like all the dealership keep doing is raising the cost to fix your car. When you get your car back; the problem was still not fixed.I have been to a lot of dealership over the years, and it is truly refreshing to find a man who does an incredible job without gouging the customer.Service: Oil change

As a firefighter, trust and honesty are what makes or breaks a business to me. I brought in my car with an unknown problem under the hood. I tried myself and replaced multiple parts and finally threw in the towel and took it to Alpine. From the first minute working with Mike I felt like I was working with the best. He kept me informed throughout the whole process and never made any decisions or repair without consulting me first. He also had me come in the shop to see the repairs for myself and kept the old parts to show proof that the repairs were warranted and necessary. He also explained the part of the car, it s function, how it should work, and how it will work after repairs. He also will let you know if something doesn t necessarily need to be repaired right away (if it does not harm the vehicle) and wants the customer to be financially comfortable with the services provided. He does not sugar coat anything and tells you like it is, which is greatly appreciated in my opinion. The shop was probably the cleanest mechanic and auto repair shop I have ever seen. From the mechanic bay to the bathroom, everything was spotless, organized, clean, and maintained. Mike has been outstanding. He should give instructional courses to Dealerships on how to handle customers professionally. He broke down his billing and came up with a game plan on future repairs. Took our car in to get a quote for our recent hail damage. That included a broken windshield and our AC recently went out. I really appreciated how clean and organized the shop was. The quotes came in detailed and very easy to follow. Michael the owner made himself available to answer all my questions. I also love that they have individual organized buckets where they put parts they replace for each card and each car being worked on has a cart assigned to it so everything stays organized with each car. It s easy to see that this shop cares about the work they are doing.

I am a current customer of Michael's and have been since 1990. He charges for services and parts only if you need them. His years of experience makes him a great consultant when describing the work needed for your vehicle by walking you through the repair process. Parts and service are reasonably priced and of excellent quality. I've used dealerships in the past and 9 times out of 10, they foul something up or try to overcharge me. It can be as simple as a loose oil filter leaving puddles on my driveway or telling me I need $800 worth of work done when the reason the oil light came on in a separate instance was the engine was a quart low. Glad I checked the dipstick before paying the $800 or I would have felt like one."Mike & The Mechanics" at Alpine Motorsport check their work and they will also take the initiative to note any issues you didn't know about. They make buying easy. They are problem solvers and keep their knowledge up to date on changes in automotive technology.When I come to pickup my car, I know it's going to run better than it did when going in without having to worry about bringing it back for the same work. I cannot trust dealerships. But it's nice to have people you can trust because trust is earned over time. Michael and his team have earned mine and they will earn yours too.03/14/2019. After another two years since this review, Alpine still continues to thoroughly inspect my car for for any mechanical issues and send out reminders for maintenance schedules and specials. I just picked my car up yesterday for some scheduled maintenance and I have peace of mind knowing its current condition.

I needed my tie rods and control arms replaced on my 2013 BMW 535i and Mike at Alpine made me feel really good about a bad situation! He knows what he is doing on German cars, it s nice to have a trustworthy reliable mechanic here locally in Norman, Ok. Michael and his staff at Alpine have taken care of one of our family's cars for quite a few years. They are always helpful and knowledgable. His estimates are very accurate and he explains what needs to be done and which things are not required at that time. He also keeps all of the parts taken off of the car and will go through the parts with the bill when you pick the car up so you can see which items have been removed and replaced. He stays in touch through the process to keep you up to date on the process and projected completion date and time.

Michael and the team at Alpine are as professional as they come. When he has your car, he will call you with updates as often as possible/needed. You will get comprehensive and honest feedback on the issues with your car, and every detail that needs to be addressed to fix the problem. It is a very low pressure environment, and the expertise and professionalism that is shown makes leaving your car at alpine as low stress as having problems with your car could ever be.Highly recommend.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Mike and the team provide great service! Does a thorough assessment of the car and provide recommendations but no hard sell. My daughter is an OU student and it is nice to know Mike and Alpine are available when our family lives out of state. I'll likely schedule my car for service when in town. Keep up the great work Mike and team.

I am a recent customer to Alpine Motorsport and I must say that I will be taking my car to them for future service and repairs. First off because of work requirements, All my repair correspondence was done on the telephone with Mike so he could have told me anything and sold me anything but he was honest and up front about cost and repair issues and even sent me an estimate of the costs which were exact. Mike explained all the repairs that were needed as well as other maintenance items that were not pressing but would need to be addressed at a later date.

We have taken three cars to Michael over in the past year . We have been very impressed with his knowledge and willingness to work with us about alternative repairs in order to reduce costs while providing excellent results. He has all the latest diagnostic tools to aid in trouble shooting. His shop is very clean and he and his employees are courteous and professional. We highly recommend his shop and will continue to take our vehicles to him for repairs.

They broke my head light and now it has water in it that it never had before they worked on it, then after spending four thousand dollars on the front end, my car starts overheating the day I pick it up and it never did that before either! Mike acted like he didn t care if I did business with him again or not, so I picked up my car and I had someone else fix it! Watch these people they think you are made of money!

Just had a bunch of work done at Alpine Motorsport on our Sentra. It took a while because there were lots of things needed (car is 14 years old) but Mike and the team did a great job and checked the car thoroughly, as opposed to the dealer who just kept saying "everything is fine" when asked about the knocking sound from the rear brakes when parked. The knocking sound is gone and the car is running smoothly and cooling faster, even in this summer heat. Everything was clearly explained, you will get a complete and thorough run-down of what needs fixing. Definitely recommend Alpine if you need great quality work done on your car.

Recently purchased 2001 BMW Z3. Very thorough and precise with their knowledge of the car. Inspected and reviewed with me what issues were at hand. A time line was given for preventive maintenance as well as what was recommended to fix now. All staff very professional. Good to know I can rely on Alpine Motorsport to keep my car in top condition. Alpine has been my go-to for automotive maintenance and repair for more than a quarter century. Mike has unbelievable knowledge of a wide variety of highly sophisticated vehicles, new and old, and is able to convey his diagnoses and suggested maintenance/repairs in a manner that I can understand. It's worth noting that my ex, who now lives in Tulsa, brings her vehicles to Alpine when they need work.I'm highly impressed by their new location in west Norman--it's a new, state-of-the-art facility that is easy to access and has plenty of parking. Alpine also now lets you access your maintenance/repair records online, which is a really handy way of keeping on top of things. I give Alpine my highest possible recommendation.

I have been bringing my vehicle to Michael for multiple years. He has done everything from extensive engine work to routine tasks such as checking fluids and everything in-between. The quality of his (and his staff's) work is superb.Every estimate is itemized in detail and he takes the time to fully explain everything from top to bottom, nor are unnecessary repairs suggested and/or pushed. Great source of knowledge. Repairs are done in a timely fashion and there is regular communication during the process.They provide to the point detailed facts, present multiple options if they exist, and do excellent quality work. Always is a positive experience.

Mike at Alpine is thorough (to say the least), and very attentive toward the details. I am glad my neighbor recommended him. We've been taking our cars to Alpine for a good year or more now, and we've never been more happy with a shop.

As always, Alpine Motorsport is professional, knowledgeable and effective at both diagnosing and fixing problems. They replaced my BMW's suspension system and my cam gears and solenoids. It had some bad issues. After each repair, the problems were gone and it purred like a kitten again. My daughter is a student at OU and we had a critical need to get her Mini Cooper fixed in the midst of her finals and with little time before she was supposed to come home for Christmas. Mike and his team were fantastic and got the fairly major work done with time to spare. Mike showed great concern for our situation and was very available and informative. I highly recommend Alpine Motorsport and will definitely use them for all our needs in Norman!!

Best Automotive Experience Ever. Alpine has worked on both a 1993 Saab 9000 and a 2013 Volvo XC90 for me. In both cases, they were extremely thorough in their investigation of what my vehicles needed and pragmatic in their recommendations. I have never felt more informed and confident leaving an automotive shop. Mike at Alpine provides world class mechanic service authorized for Mercedes and other high end cars. Forget the insanity of the dealership service centers and go to Alpine instead. Mike has serviced my cars for the past 8 years with detail and attention at reasonable prices.
