Wade is a super sweet guy and I appreciate his patience and communication! He got my Ford Focus working within a few days. I was told by another shop it would be about 2 weeks because I was going to have to have my whole transmission replaced (without them even looking at it) but Wade found that that wasn t the issue. I appreciate him not trying to make a quick buck off me. 10/10 recommend this place

Wade with Action Transmission is a good guy! He actually finds the problem and fixes it and is not trying to rip you off! We were having problems with our truck and it was in the shop for awhile, they couldn t find the problem. We took it to Wade and he had it running and fixed within a few hours of getting it and at a reasonable price. 10/10 recommend Action Transmission

Amazing customer service. My truck had not been shifting right for over a year and after taking it to several mechanics I still had no luck. However when I took it to Action Transmission he figured out the problem very quickly and did an amazing job for a fair price. I highly recommend Action Transmission!

Would give more stars if I could!! Wade was recommended to me by a friend and he went above and beyond to help me with my Car. After 2 weeks with my used car that I had just bought, my transmission went out. I obviously did not trust the dealership that I bought the car from to replace the transmission so I am thankful Wade was able to get me in and replace it. He was always responsive and made sure there was nothing else wrong with the car before he got it back to me. His price was more than fair. The transmission on my 2017 Focus quit on me in November and we tried to wrangle with Ford to get it fixed/replaced and just got put off. Wade rebuilt my spouse s transmission in October, so we called and were able to get it in and diagnosed (bad solenoid) super fast and now we re back in business. Big thank you!!!

I ve been slowly building a project truck for the last year. I ve done all the mechanical work up to this point, but due to little free time, I had to put it off. I had bought a GM Performance 4L75-E and a GM Supermatic torque converter and had fully intended to do the work myself, but a friend suggested I call Wade. Instead of calling, I just showed up in person and talked to him. He s personable, friendly, and most importantly, knows his stuff. He got me in the following Monday and finished it up Tuesday afternoon. He kept it on the lift for me to look everything over, explaining how he installed everything to torque spec (yes, I m that guy). We probably chatted for an hour about past builds, future builds, and everything else. I wished Google had more than five stars because I would rate him ten.Service: Transmission

With his kindness of getting my truck with a bad transmission in to get it fixed, the great communication about parts availability and pricing, quality choices and upgrades this by far was just an amazing experience! As a trained mechanic in younger days, I found Wade's knowledge of his work as outstanding. He was very personable, and easy to work with. He found issues with my transmission that did not require a full rebuild, and the work wound up very much less that I thought I would pay for my truck's issues. I would recommend Wade for your work. I am sure you will be happy with his honesty, knowledge, and timeliness in getting your work done. His prices were most reasonable as well.

Brought my wife's care into Action American Transmissions to have Wade evaluate a suspected transmission problem. He put it up on the lift, cleaned the trans, visually inspected all common trouble spots, and was able to determine that it wasn't a transmission problem after all. He even tested another system to see if we could narrow down the issue. It would have been very easy for a dishonest shop to give it a quick once over, say they'd need the car for a week to evaluate and then bill us for hours of labor just to say they couldn't find a problem, but Wade was 100% honest, professional, and courteous. Wade was super nice, professional, and honest. Had an issue with my transmission, called Wade and brought my car in the next morning. He replaced the Solenoid pack, got my car running properly again, and had it ready the next day. He quoted a fair price and didn't try to upsell me on anything. I definitely recommend him if you need work done on your car.

Wade is a great mechanic and very honest. We have been taking our car and truck to him for years. I would highly recommend him for any work needed on vehicles. He is extremely passionate about his work. Last week my wife was getting an oil change and inquired about the check engine light being on; she was told it would be $900 to fix. I called Wade and he was able to fix it very quickly for $250. I am very thankful to have him as our trusted mechanic.

Would 100% recommend Action and Wade to anyone. Had an urgent transmission issue, and other shops simply advised a full rebuild or replacement, as many do not simply repair transmissions. Wade not only diagnosed the issue, but found that the repair was much simpler than originally thought. His fix saved me time and money, and got me back on the road without a problem! His assessments are honest and fair, and he takes time to explain the repair process. Give him a call!

Wade and his shop, Action Transmission, was one of the shops that came recommended to me. I called several shops to get a feel for how they do business and after speaking to Wade, I decided to use him. Took my truck to him and he explained what he was going to do to diagnose the problem and what he thought it was. He was very informative along the way and quoted me a price and stuck with it. We are very pleased with his service, work ethic and price. I highly recommend Action Transmission.

Easily the best experience I've ever had working with a mechanic when having car issues. Wade is quite obviously very knowledgeable in anything automotive and takes the time to explain any problems you may be having. He understands that integrity is paramount to running a successful business and wholeheartedly practices that. He also called me multiple times to give me updates on the progress to my car.Very competitive prices, fast service, and an honest owner, can't beat that.

Great service will for sure use again. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Wade made sure to replace all the parts in the transmission that were damaged as well as parts that would be prone to need replacing. He explained what he did and went so far as to show me the old parts. Honest work at a fair price! You don t see this enough these days, very refreshing to have such a pleasant experience and have someone who still has old fashioned work values! Will for sure recommend or use again if I have any issues with any other vehicles.

Wade went above and beyond to help me with my transmission. I couldn t afford to be with out my work truck long, so he busted his butt and had it back to me by the end of the business day I dropped it off. This is also one of the most honest businessman I have ever met, he doesn t just try and sell you a brand new transmission. His prices were very reasonable, and he tries to do everything he can to save you money. If I ever have any other issue this man has my future business. Thanks again Wade for the awesome, and fast work.

I found Wade and Action American Transmissions via Google. I have to agree with other reviewers I would 100% recommend him! He was able to fit us in same day and help us figure out what was going on. He was also able to let us know that our Transmission is actually still under an extended warranty from Subaru. He said he'd be willing to talk to the service shop and let them know what he saw and thought. This is how business should be done.

Wade is an outstanding mechanic, he takes the time to understand the problem and explain the fix. He is an honest guy running a family business and he knows that his best asset is a good reputation. He worked on my Mazda 6, found the problem and came way under the original estimate. I have no reservations recomending his work and we will keep returning with our business.

Wade is a great guy. I called asking for a quote and was really straight forward on what the price you pay is going towards. After getting quotes from other places Wade was the most honest guy that gave me a quote. After he fixed my truck he showed me what the guy before him did to "fix" my truck and told me what the other guy did and didn't do. I recommend Wade if you need a honest repair man that won't rake you over the coals like other places will.

A few days after I bought a used car I started having transmission issues. The same day I called them Wade let me watch him put my car on a lift and check the transmission fluid level, teaching me as he worked. He then gave me a quote on what it would cost to repair it, and had the honesty to tell me to try and return the car rather than repair the transmission. Best of all he did this at NO COST to me. I am a college student and I really appreciated his honesty and fairness. He was extremely helpful.

excellent service!! Wade is very courteous and friendly. Wade thoroughly went over my vehicles problems and explained different options, he took extensive time to be sure I understood what was needed for the vehicle, and did NOT charge me for the initial evaluation and repair consultation. Once we agreed on what needed to be done Wade fixed the vehicle in very timely manner! I highly recommend Wade for auto repairs!!

I took my old truck to action transmission to have my th400 swapped with a 4l8. Wade was very knowledgeable and provided awesome customer service. Although he was providing a service for me, he was extremely humble and respected me as a customer. Upon receiving my truck, i was greatly satisfied with the finished product.

Wade is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what was wrong and even showed me on a transmission he had in the shop what he was going to do. He is a no BS kinda guy! He quoted me a price and it was even slightly less than his original quote! He called me and clarified everything his was going to do before he started the job. He even changed a some gaskets while he had the transmission apart. Great work and very honest! Will definitely be going back for transmission service.

Wade is fantastic to work with. My son is at school in Norman and I live out of town. When his car was having problems, Wade diagnosed the problem and gave me a call before starting the work. The cost was less than I expected and the work was first rate. Would definitely recommend Action American Transmission...Wade is the best.
